Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! pt. 1

[This is a 4-part article covering the recent news coverage on the Health Care reform package and is not comprehensive on ALL the issues. If you read this through to the end, you will see that I list a course of action to take to help put a stop to this bill, and explain throughout, why it should be stopped and under what misleading pretenses the Left is attempting to push this through!] 

Yes, President Obama will be bringing forth his pitch for health care reform to the people once again, this time, in a State suffering from tremendously high levels of uninsured citizens. And, yes, YOU, the people, will once again be given an opportunity to hear the, "real," issues and put forth your voices! Once again, we the people, of this Democracy known as the United States of America, shall be empowered once more!
 
Oh wait... wrong story. I forgot, we get NO say in this - at all. It's now: "Obama vs. Congress vs. the People," and he wants to pressure leaders in Congress to go along with his plan (at least the 60 or so who are still standing up to him), or otherwise, appear as the, "bad guys," in front of the people and not get voted in next year (while he retains his office for another 3 years). Sorry - my bad - I apologize in advance. I, 'sort of,' forgot that it's not about the people or what we want, but using scare tactics and lies to force the people into drastic action - like sheep - for the politicians. Sort of reminiscent of those by-gone days, where the ancient Greek Gods would war with one another, and the people were just their pawns and in their way. Funny, I thought America was a country of people, not politicians - I guess that's just not the case - but I digress.
 
The reform will now cut the budget from the apparently, current cost of $2.4 trillion down to a mere, $900 billion, will take away the impositions against businesses to force-fund the program and relieve those with insurance from added tax debts. Additionally, it will increase the number of people covered to 95%, eliminating things like, 'pre-existing,' conditions, and co-pays for 'basic,' services; eliminate 'government run health care and create co-ops for the people to decide, while easing the tax burdens on the wealthy.

Yeah - hah - hahahahaha - no... wait for it.... wait.... yep - hahahahahaha! Okay - let's weed through this, shall we? Bloomberg AP News reports: Health care as it is now is getting really, REALLY expensive. If the government doesn't curb it - it's going to bankrupt the people!! But, some don't agree - they think the health care reform posed by Obama will cause a greater deficit and hurt the people more. Okay... sounds reasonable - two sides to the argument, right? The Hill reports: that the currently proposed reform to Obama's plan, being headed up by Senator Baucus(D), will reduce the costs to $900 billion, maintain 95% coverage (except to 'undocumented,' illegal aliens... vs. the 'documented,' illegal aliens who WILL be covered), and reduce the national deficit over a 10-year period. Senator Konrad (D) stated that he knows of 12 million people that are already positioned to sign up for co-op run plans! And, a committee will be established to find additional ways to cap medicare pay-outs and spending, in addition to the billions in cuts proposed, to help reduce the national deficit! Medical News Today reported that: the cut in spending on 'undocumented,' immigrants, makes up about 98% of the 50 million who would not be covered by this health care reform (47 mil). The [May] article in Medical News Today also quoted Sen. Baucus as saying that he is opting for business paid health exchange and a government run health care option. Senator John Kerry (D) stated that taxing the rich is senseless as it raises too little money, but you can't tax the working class because that would interefere in business success.

This blogroll on the ABC News website discussed the amazing fact that Congress is now seeking public congrats for having actually read Obama's health reform bill. My Central Oregon.com reports that: dependent coverage will be extended to age 26, a removal for 'denial,' of pre existing conditions for insurance, policies with premiums paid in full must be renewed, and gender biases would be stopped. Lawmakers will knock an additional $35 million out of medicare to help lessen the overall expense of this reform, and, the uninsured won't begin to see changes until 2013, with full coverage to those uninsured not being realized until 2018.

Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! pt. 2

  Now - with ALL that said - with all those issues laid out before you - the people who get to decide (no.. not vote.. don't be silly, this is America! We don't vote here! We just push Congress and threaten them with their jobs and not voting for them because we're a Democracy, duhh!!), let's break this down to REALITY:

1. The current cost of $2.4 trillion will be lessened to $900 billion. FACT: If you READ the article, you might notice that it is the current population of America, WITH health insurance, paying that $2.4 trillion - not Uncle Sam. Their health care reform is supposed to somehow lessen YOUR direct costs, while funny enough - the media/White House keeps reporting that we should be concerned about this health care reform because of the 'costs,' that will have to be charged in taxes. So.. wait? Are they lowering your $2.4 trillion by paying for the $2,399,100,000,000 ($2.39 trillion) in tax dollars? How does that 'offset,' your costs? Are they going to 'force,' health insurance companies into charging less? I suppose that's where their 'incentives,' options come in - but those incentives options STILL include our taxes - so, somehow, I think we've got the White House intentionally mixing apples with oranges and confuse the issues to make YOU think like they're lowering the overall tax deficit - when that's NOT true. So, were two sides of the story reported on? Those who think this will increase the deficit and those who don't? Yep - but the bridge between the two realities of a $2.4 trillion dollar, consumer-paid, private insurance bill and a $900 billion dollar government funding plan - was not gapped. In fact, when you listen to Obama talk, he refers to the previous administration (Republican), as being responsible for your $2.4 trillion dollar price tag on insurance and how he, as a (Democrat), will curb that. Sad as it is - he's not only trying to confuse the two issues, the President, and several others in Washington, are using the confusion as a battle-ground!!??

2. A Co-Op insurance option. A co-op was suggested at a government-paid (ahem.. tax payer paid) price-tag $6 billion. THAT would be on of those 'gaps,' that needs crossing. Have you ever HAD a co-op or been in a co-op, like a CC&R or power company? Is there any great 'savings,' there? I'm not talking the 'amount,' of the bill - I'm talking about the savings - because it doesn't exist. So, there's your $2.4 trillion, with an additional tax deficit of $6 billion on top of it already!

3. Eliminating 'pre existing conditions,' as ground for denial. Well, if you'll read about pre existing conditions and insurance as they currently stand, you'll see the 'real,' problem isn't denial - it's the added costs to those with this issue. And, in fact, when you read through the articles in the last post, you'll see that little, 'one-liner,' note in there. This bill does NOT deal with the current problem of added costs for pre existing conditions. In fact, this is a worthless addition to the bill designed to be propoganda intended to 'distract,' you.

4. No co-pays for basic services. Yes, that's right. For mammograms, check-ups, and other, preventative care visits, you'll pay no co-pay. Of course, that's REALLY going to help curb that increasing insurance premium, right? After all - no copays means the insurance company picks up the ENTIRE tab, right? HAHAHAHA - sure - that'll lessen your premiums.

5. Covering 95% of the uninsured. Yes, I know I detailed this in part already, but I'll repeat it here because... it's funny! Senator Baucus, seemingly the new spokesperson for this 'sub-reform-reform,' has stated that it's Washington's belief that they can cover up to 95% of the people who are currently uninusured! But, they're still working on a way to handle the undocumented illegal immigrants, because they won't be covered. So - 50 million by this new reform (seemingly, the 5% who won't be covered by the reform), consists of: 47 million undocumented, illegal immigrants. Forgive me if my math is wrong, but that means that 94% of the people who won't be covered by this health care extension include the 'undocumented,' illegal immigrants who will already NOT be covered by this health care plan, while the 6% may... or may not... include the 'documented,' illegal immigrants. Maybe I'm just stretching here.. but the current 95% coverage WILL cover the documented, illegal immigrants... who are, "illegal," and the 6% not covered will be American Citizens, that as Sen. Baucus states: are amongst those you can "always find," who won't qualify under this new plan. Aren't we back to apples and oranges and misleading information again? Isn't this 95% coverage for uninsured folks, talking about only leaving out, for the most part, undocumented, illegal immigrants? How much of a 'stretch,' is that - in reality?

Hmm... somehow, this still seems a bit shady. I think there's something more to this story, don't you?

(continuing on from the last post)

6. Senator Kerry (D), has emphasized his support of not taxing the wealthy, because that would just not cover the bill. Wait? didn't we just go over the 'bill,' and the $2.4 trillion consumer paid vs. the $900 billion government paid? Sorry.. my head's spinning. Listening to the left spin their garbage out of Congress and into the streets can do that sometimes. Inversely, Sen. Kerry wants us to be careful about lowering the tax bracket of who pays for this bill too far, becasue we could interefere with employer businesses if the lower-class have to start paying. That is to say, he supports taxing the businesses, but if we tax the people and the businesses who can no longer afford to keep people on staff because of their dramatic increases in taxes per person, we'd be double taxing and inevitably causing an increase in unemployment. Oops.. I meant.. he 'inferred,' that - he didn't say it. My bad. Of course - he and Senator Konrad plan on supporting co-ops because white house studies show 12 million people currently in support of it. What 12 million people? What sector? It seems to me that if we shouldn't "lower," that tax bracket too far - that the 'lower,' tax bracket will NOT be the ones supporting the co-ops. (As a side note - let's also not forget many of these Senators are in that wealthy tax bracket who will pay out... AND... they are business owners - which it sounds like Sen. Kerry has covered his backside on both issues!).

7. Insurance companies who have been paid must provide insurance! Well, THIS was an awesome addition to the bill, don't you think? After all, this hits right to the heart of the issue, doesn't it? Okay, sarcasm aside - yes - THIS is a DISTRACTION, that out of 4,000 pages, was NOT newsworthy, but it's what the Congress and White House offered the people. Sure - they've read the bill. Was it to show the American people that they care and necessary to help 'sell,' the bill? No, and yes. It wasn't to show they cared, it was to find out what 'highlights,' they could offer the media and the public to 'appease,' us, while not discussing the 'other,' major issues.

8. Uninsured will begin receiving coverage in 2013! Yes, AFTER the next election. What a WONDERFUL way to wrap people up into voting for... well.. not those 'horrifying,' Republicans that opposed this bill! After all - you're all about to receive benefits thanks to Obama and the Democratic party! Do you really, REALLY, want to vote Republican and give ALL that up? Sure... and not everyone gets benefits until 2018. What a way to REALLY play this issue out. Didn't see it, yet? Let me 'splain: This $900 billion to be spent, will be "drug," out - including medicare payouts and the currently existing medicare program, to not really 'work,' until mid 2015. That means, that it will only cost about $450 billion by then (yes - assuming those numbers were accurate - which they aren't). That way, come election time, it looks like they've been saving the budget because the deficit's not as high, and JUST LIKE THE STIMULUS, they've "issued," the monies - but NOT spent the monies - and so they haven't had to "dramatically," raise taxes. Instead, the increase will be slow and steady over time where it won't "really," be felt for 5 or 6 more years and you won't "really," feel that pinch until then. But, make no mistake: If you buy something for $1000.00 - you OWE a $1000.00. AND - if you SPAN out your amortization on the "loan," you took out to buy that item, your interest will be HIGHER! So - that $1000, rather than costing $1400 in a 3 or 4 year payoff, will cost $2000 in the 6 year payoff, but by the third/fourth year, you will have only "seen," a $1,000 go out the door - and it will look GREAT on paper! Anyone who's EVER leased ANYTHING - will know about this - whether your lease was great or a pain. It's basic math, it's deceptive - it's LYING! YOU'RE going to PAY MORE - so THEY can look LESS like bad guys they really are! I'll remind you of this in 2012, if I'm still around - when this comes true.

9. Medicare cuts and caps will help curb the $2.4 trillion to $900 billion. I've saved this "special," issue for the end for a very, good reason: Medicare cuts of $35 million dollars, 'squeezing,' the system "after" they've cut billions out of it that well.. you know.. pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... ANYWAY - the committee (that will cost us), to arrange these cuts, will save us $2.39 trillion dollars! YAY!! Um... wait.. wasn't that $2.4 trillion what people currently, privately pay for insurance and has nothing to do with government spending? How will $35 million save $2.39 trillion? How will $35 million in addition to hundreds of billions, save $2.39 trillion? HOW WILL CUTTING Medicare INCREASE fair insurance to everyone?

Hold on - something's not right? (see why I saved this one?) Holy Medicare Premiums Batman - the math isn't working??!! Neither is the logic.. boy wonder!!

Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! finale

Guess what? If you've been reading this little series on the current news media and reports from Washington on Health Care, you "might," be hanging onto your head.. or at least your seat right now, trying to understand what just happened to you.
 
Congress 'READ,' the Bill! They put their hard time and effort into it just for you! They did it so that they could either increase their ability to 'sell,' you on it, or raise concerns to Legislature that will really, really hit home and make sure this is the right bill for us.
 
Yeah... and I'm actually a good writer. HAHAHAHAHA.
 
Let's be real:
In May of 2009, Senator Baucus, the now self-proclaimed spokesperson for this bill and the leader of the sub-reform reform bill intended to sway the rest of Congress, said: We need businesses to bear this burden! We need an insurance health exchange! We need a government-run health care option!
 
Today, Senator Baucus - the same one - who is supposedly "reforming," the health care bill, is saying: we shouldn't burden businesses. What health exchange? Let's do a co-op! And, don't be silly, a government run health care option would be pointless. Don't worry, I'll make sure that 95% of the people without insurance get it!
 
Thank goodness. Thank goodness that a man who has consistency, integrity, honesty and high-moral values is in charge of our reform. Thank goodness Obama's going to a state to speak to people suffering without health insurance to pass his bill. And, thank goodness everyone in Congress took the time to read that 4,000 page bill, because they were told to vote before their "1-month, vacation," which has now been postponed until September - in which they'll do NOTHING during August.
 
Yechth! Sorry - have to wash out my mouth for spitting out all that garbage! Folks, I've made brief references to the health care bill, explaining the current system needs reformed and the logistics behind that. However, the Democrats (and again, I hate taking "sides," but this IS what THEY are doing under President Obama), are now saying: Look - see how much more expensive this is getting by waiting? And, they're now going to wait another month. Why? So they can JACK UP that $900 billion price tag. They're saying that if we don't act "fast," and vote ASAP - that $2.4 trillion current expense will skyrocket! And, guess what - if the reform bill's NOT passed by Congress - Obama, in his special, "private," meetings with AARP, will make sure it HAPPENS! The pressure's on. It's Obama's signature move. It's what he does. He goes to the people so YOU feel empowered, getting you to pressure Congress - to institute a bill which will devastate us - proving that we were NEVER empowered in the first place!
 
Squeezing medicare costs? Capping medicare payouts? Sure - that'll work. That'll put a hefty burden on medicare patients. And, what about this $335 - $445 billion dollar cut in medicare that's supposed to "lessen," the $2.4 trillion to $900 billion? Oops.. sorry - I'm mixing the same apples and oranges Congress did. Don't want to play that: MISLEAD YOU AND LIE TO YOU game they're playing. Instead, let's address the fact that: they are now talking about preserving your health care rights. So - your $2.4 trillion that is increasing - will continue to increase! Your insurance premiums WILL rise. Why? Well - we're 'capping,' the insurance companies, aren't we? We're controlling 'gender,' biases (which is unlawful in the first place), aren't we? Sure we are - now the gender that insurance thinks is at higher risk can be insured - but it will cost you more. The 26 year old kid's going to cost you more. The lack of co-pays is going to cost you more. The addition of pre-existing/high risk patients will cost you more. The lack of lifetime caps will cost you more. It's impossible NOT to! These are the SAME, EMPTY promises Obama made during his campaign!
 
I'm going to give you more, give you this, give you that, cut spending in half, and everything's going to be peachy-keen! Are we THAT stupid? *sigh - don't answer... - we know the answer* You can't CAP insurance companies, lessen their rates, and expect them to provide MORE? In truth - what we should be REALLY inflamed about, is that Congress has now claimed to read this bill, and yet, they haven't provided us with answers to explain a drop from $2.4 trillion to $900 billion (yes, apples and oranges - but since they've said it - explain how this 'drop,' in the deficit will occur?). And, uninsured people who get sick or need medicine NOW - CAN'T wait until 2013 when THEY'RE going to be covered.
 
Hold on - when "they're," going to be covered? I thought Senator Baucus said: No, to government run health care and that private insurance will remain as is with you getting to pay your own bills as it is now? What's this $900 billion for, then? It's not ALL for the 2013 - 2018, 5-year period of covering the uninsured. Is he, lying? Perhaps even, misleading us? Are we getting 6 pages out of the 4,000? YES! The answer to ALL those questions is: YES.
 
What to do now? "Now's the time for all good men (and women), to come to the aide of their country!" (Charles E. Weller).
 
Yes - head to the typewriter, the pen and paper - the computer if you must - but get going! Don't just tell Congress - "No - or I'll vote you out of office," tell them: "NO - AND IF YOU DON'T STOP LYING I'M GOING TO VOTE YOU OUT OF OFFICE AND CONTACT THE SUPREME COURT AND ASK WHAT I NEED TO DO TO IMPEACH YOU FOR LYING TO ME."
 
Okay - a little, "brash," perhaps, but I'll let you refine it however you feel is necessary. Now is the time for action. Now is the time for all of us to stand. You cannot implement government mandated health care controls and restrictions without also making it a 'government,' run, health care system. You cannot determine (in advance), the appropriate and only acceptable treatments for medical problems that doctors may implement or choose from, without making it a government-run medical program. However they're trying to 're-label,' what they're doing, Senator Baucus, in his hopefulness that we're all too stupid to think for ourselves, has done us a favor. You see, he raised the issues in 100% support of Obama, waited for the public outcry and what seemed to be our dilemma, then strategically helped partake in a very well organized plan to 'rework,' the reform to appear as something different while still supporting Obama 100%. He played the propaganda game to the hilt - and if alone - I'd liken him to the skills of Winston Churchill. However, if you don't see it yet, I'll just lightly present this to you: if he's not alone and only a patsy in the bigger scheme of what's going on: the entire Democratic party has run one of history's greatest campaigns since World War II. But, I'll let you decipher that for yourselves. Thanks - and God Bless you all!

In the land of Oz, there lived a wizard...

   And, this grand, old and wisened wizard could only be found at the Emerald City. There, deep within the guarded walls of his crystal palace, those few, brave souls who came to call upon the wizard, were met with his terrible and fiery rage that had intimidated them into submission and agreement. In fact, stories tell of a girl from a star named Kansas who agreed to commit theft from another, simply because the wizard demanded it. He wanted her, to take away someone else's strength and power, so that he could make his own, and thus, the collective's power, even greater..... And, you know the rest of the story. Of course, the information spoken of within the central chamber where the wizard resided was safeguarded, and those who entered were told never to tell of the information they learned, for it was, "secret." Starting to sound more and more familiar? Makes you yearn for that simple, farm life, where you worked hard and gave up your search for wealth and accepted your lot in life. Not really a fairy tale ending either way you look at it.
 
Now, some of you... most of you... if any of you are out there.. lol... may take serious offense to what I'm about to write. In fact, I warn you now - don't judge till you reach the end - for I have another tale to weave that will offend. You see, there once was a young Senator named Barrack Obama, who was well off, well provided for and lacked for nothing. He knew he had the backing to overcome the odds, but also he knew, that the government was corrupted. He knew the politicians could be bought off, the police force acted with prejudice and without a sense of justice and that the law had so many holes in it, that truth leaked right out onto the floor every time you tried to use it. So, he decided one day to follow his dream. It wasn't to be a President, it was to make a change. He wanted to fix everything. But, he knew, as President, he was going to have limitations. For you see, in the land where young Obama resided, the President was to be a symbol for the people, but had become a patsy for Congressional and special interest. So, he began his career by appointing Czars - heads of departments, staffs and operations, who were above Congress. The only people they had to answer to was: Obama himself.
 
Should he make an office and leave it to Congress to run? How had Congress fared over the last Century or two? No, he had to change the rules - even his own rules - to supercede their authority. Obama knew that while the FBI will investigate a U.S. Soldier's background to the day of their birth, confirming where they lived and with whom they communicated in order to prevent anti-American sympathizers from gaining power (based solely upon their associations growing up), he would have to reposition himself and hide his past contacts the best he could. After all, if the FBI was that strict against top secret military personnel, wouldn't they be even stricter against him? So, Barrack fired the head Inspector General and hired a new one, who only answered to him. But, Barrack not only mistrusted Congress, he didn't trust the people. He knew they could be lead like sheep and be dangerous to his goals. So, he began drawing up bills for Congress to pass, that he would try to force through without having them read, so that the people didn't rebel.
 
Understand, Obama wanted change. He wanted to make things better. Rather than health care as it is now, he wanted the extreme opposite - because he had learned that "baby," steps, would get him nowhere. Rather than run out of money, he decided to authorize mass spending of money. And, there were problems in the land of Oz. When Jo the Plumber came to the Emerald City Gates, the gatekeeper wouldn't let him in. And, because Obama couldn't trust anyone, and was so afraid of trusting his own Government or turning to people for votes, that soon he was passing laws without the people - and without Congress. He was so afraid of his own Government, that he began he began passing votes without them and positioning people into power who would support his goals.
 
And, just maybe- Obama's not trying to destroy America. You see, this is a fairy tale ONLY because: We don't know what Obama's really thinking. But, then I stepped back and looked in again, and I saw exactly what I just wrote. Obama wants change - but Congress - good luck. Obama wants reform, but trying to get things passed by the people - heck - they voted for him, how could he trust ANY of them?! His only choice to save us is to do it his way, and that means over-riding the government and the people. The only problem, where Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother told her daughter what path to take through the forest, it seems that Obama's willing to follow one that has warning signs posted all over it.
 
Of course, I'm not saying this is what's "really," happening. I'm just playing Devil's Advocate here, and giving you a view into another, possible alternate to consider. Because, if we want change, what would you have Obama do, trust Congress to get it done? Would you have him rely on the legal system as it's designed now? Would you have him put it to vote? What course of action do you want him, to take? On the other hand, we mustn't forget what Mr. Bush Jr. told us: Once Obama was in the Whitehouse, regardless of whatever platforms he stood upon or principals he proclaimed, he would know what the President knew; the terrible secrets of "what's coming," that we, the people, don't know, and he would have to act upon it. And, what have we seen? We've watched Obama even go against his own party's desires with this health care bill now. What possible future could he have been shown - what truth could have been revealed to him, that he would do this? What fear of of his own government could give him cause to act as he is now? So - ask yourself - is it really a "totalitarian," attitude that he has, or is he really, "afraid?"
 
Oh well, enough of our fairy tale for today. Let's get back to reality now. What's on today's agenda - a four thousand page health care bill? Now THAT'S a fairy tale.....

Dangerous Obama-isms

Evidence that the Democrats are lost.. really, really, really... um... REALLY lost, lies in the Obama-isms, that they support:
 
On this website, the individual used one of my most favoritest (bad grammar fully intended) quotes of Mr. Obama's:
 
“We are not a people who fear the future. We are a people who make it.”
 
Really? Is that so? I know I've referenced this line before, but please, let me expand. First off, those who stand fully behind the President's Fourth of July speech, do so by also reminding us about all the people we should be thankful to, for our independence. Let me first ask - does anyone else here believe that thankfulness to those who have sacrificed on our behalf; appreciation to those who gave up, that we might move forward to a brighter future; requires a bit of humility? Does acknowledgment and appreciation, in its truest form, not require a sense of understanding that there are great forces at work - some terrible, some fantastic - but all great? Does understanding the sacrifice of our forefathers not bring to mind the realization they had of the future we were bound for? If not - then maybe this little ditty isn't for you. However, for those of you who can see the extreme fallacy in Obama's quote - please - read on!
 
We are not a people who fear the future? You mean, people who are too pompous, too arrogant, too self-centered and stubborn to recognize that our actions today could have potentially disastrous effects on future generations, right? Well, I buy that. In fact, I believe that's one of America's TOP problems. But, let's start with the man who authorized the stimulus bill, bankrupting our great, great grandkids. Sure - he doesn't fear the future - he makes it - just that he makes it COMPLETE garbage that he's not going to be around to see - so HE doesn't fear it. Obama acknowledges through his words and actions, that he is "acting," in a way that shows no humility or concern of consequences for our futures..
 
But, what about the humility? What about the fact he said this ON THE FOURTH OF JULY? Did our forefathers DIE and sacrifice themselves, their families, their existence and their happiness, because they felt our futures were okay? NO! They saw the writing on the wall! They saw the fallacy of a government that DOESN'T fear the future, that plans on bankrupting future generations, and felt CONFIDENT in its absolution of CONTROL over those future generations. They saw that the government didn't fear the people would ever retaliate, and didn't care about whether or not their futures would be good or bad. Guess what? Obama has not only shown his TRUE colors and abandoned the ENTIRE premise of humility - which he so often proclaims to possess in abundant quantities - but he did so on the Day of Celebration of Our Independence, in COMPLETE defiance of our forefathers and the freedoms they fought and died for, when he said we don't fear the future. Oh yes I do. I fear the future. I fear God. And, in that fearful state, I find humility, sacrifice, love and caring. What do you think people who don't fear consequences find.... hmmm?
 
But, there's another, even deeper aspect to consider. We don't just tread into the future with full confidence and assurety that there's nothing that can stand in our way (sort of Hitler/Stalin/Caesarish if you ask me), we MAKE the future! Well - that's profound. Of course we MAKE the future. Every action we take - or don't take - makes the future. But, on the obvious point of this (which is to say, Obama really is a terrible narrator and I don't understand how anyone EVER thought otherwise), I'll digress. Instead, I'll move to this upcoming "Health Care," package - that he doesn't want read in full. How do WE, do anything? How do WE, make the future? WE WON'T be voting on it! And, somehow, I don't see how creating a disaster for future generations is "making," their future. If anything, it's "unmaking," it (again, bad grammar, fully intended).
 
Listen carefully to Obama's speeches and you'll find little "caveats," just like this one. You'll find a speech of his from June 15, 2008, with the following:

"But if we are honest with ourselves, we'll admit that what too many fathers also are is missing – missing from too many lives and too many homes. They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it."
 
Now - maaaaayyybee it's just me - but I tend to be honest with myself about... 90% of the time (where I know for a fact that I try to intentionally be dishonest with myself 10% of the time when it comes to going bald, getting fat and getting old.. hee hee). The rest of the time, I don't have a problem with this - which Obama is SPECIFICALLY saying... we ALL do. However, I WILL agree that too many fathers are missing from family lives, and their children's homes. But, have they abandoned their responsibilities? And, what's this b.s. about them acting like little boys? Wait a second - he's talking about, "deadbeat dads." Ohh... I get it. Rather than SAY, he's talking about deadbeat dads - he generalizes in a way that would include EVERY father missing from their family's home. And, he goes on to say that when a father is missing from their family's home, that the family is weaker because of it. Taking ALL of that into account: Are military families "weaker," because dad is serving the country? What about Fathers who were ILLEGALLY forced out of their homes and away from their families by the inept Department of Human Services under the false color of law? Isn't then, the Government, through Constitutional, Federal and State violations of law, weakening the fabric of American families? He wants deadbeat dads held accountable, but who holds Uncle Sam accountable?
 
You see... every speech of his - every one - has some little catch in it. There's some little hint at Obama's true position. There's always a little "warning," sign - always. Sometimes, there are HUGE ones. And, those who post web sites specifically quoting these lines to show: What a great President Obama really is, are pointing out to America, the ignorant and dysfunctional mentality that encouraged them to vote for him in the first place. It shows how today's President doesn't need basic, public communications skills, only a brain dead audience that cheers at anything. Let's start at the beginning - let's force Mr. Obama into a "non," specialized, set-up media interview where he will have to answer for these questions. Let's have it run as a potential interview for impeachment and see just how he'll answer then. Of course.. while it seems this will never happen -
 
Let's at least get this recorded down in the history books somewhere, so future generations can mark where we went wrong, and have "indicators," of what not to do and who not to vote for!!

Economic forecast follow-up... again

UPDATE** (especially for Donnie) - yup - housing starts SOARED 11% - so obviously - we're getting all better, right? Hmm.. check this out:
 
While Washington reports a soar in housing starts, from the other side of America, I report this: privately owned housing unit building permits were 8.7% up in June from May, 2009 - but 52% lower than June 2008. Privately owned housing starts in June were up 3.6% above May (this is that 11.3% referred to by Washington), but are 46% BELOW June 2008. Housing completions were 4% below the May, 2009 numbers, and 27.7% below the June numbers. But, the single-family housing completions were 8.9% above May's figures!! Although... in buildings with five or more units (you know - apartments, townhomes, etc.), were more than half that number.
 
Just remember - "privately owned housing rates," = single family dwelling all by itself. Single family housing rates = apartment. And, don't forget, with the bottom falling out on the housing market, and the interest rates cheaper - "why" those people who have the funds to do so are building new homes!! (Do I really, REALLY have to explain this? Please say no...). And, don't forget why people are moving out of their "privately," owned homes into townhouses/apartments - because they're broke! And, no, I'm sorry to report, that Government Motors.. erm, um, I mean, GM & Chrysler are not doing too well. The cash for clunkers program? Well, check this out:
 
"Cash for clunkers will end Nov. 1 or when the $1 billion in subsidies expire, whichever occurs first. Congress must decide later this year whether to approve legislation extending it into 2010."
 
Want a little feedback on what that really means? AAA reports that as of 2008, there are 230 - 250 million cars on the American roadways. Let's see, at $4,500 a piece (oops.. reread that statement.. as MUCH as $4500 a piece... hmmm...), that's about $1.125 trillion dollars. Or.. about 8.8 x 10 to the negative fourth PERCENT of the total cost for everyone to trade in their cars. (yes... less than 1%). So.. till November 1st or when the $1 billion runs out. Sounds like a push... sounds like someone trying to "force," people into cars without reading all the writing. Wait.. wait a second... hold on? Isn't that what Obama's doing with the... you know.. Health Care bill? Wow... guess what!? He knows how to just get things into place without giving people a chance to see what he's really doing!! So - I suppose there'a a GOOD reason that the "cash for clunkers," program, is NOT stimulating American consumer confidence....
 
And, yes, unemployment rates continue to remain DRAMATICALLY low - but - what does that mean? How long has the Bureau of Labor Statistics been recording job rates vs. unemployment rates? Well, in 1935, of course, in RESPONSE, to the Great Depression. That means, BOLI, has about 74 years of statistics - although - we can probably imagine, those first ten to twenty years were absolute turmoil and we don't "really," know. That, of course, doesn't account for the fact that not every State jumped on board immediately - and - oh yeah - unemployment statistics only account for those CLAIMING it - not those whose claims have expired! And, finally, if you've read the EIA's statistics on gas prices, you'd see that since 2007, the prices skyrocketed, then magically plummeted in November of 2008! Well, thank goodness that Obama paved the way for people to drive once more, raising the supply and demand curve! Of course, we shouldn't forget that gas prices are set by analysts "predicting the future!" Yes, that's right - 'analysts,' who have a crystal ball, set the prices for gasoline in response to what's going on. Seeing that America didn't explode, they decided in November - that 'oops,' maybe we went too far. They fell for the Obamamania that struck America. Funny though - gas prices seem to be rising dramatically again? Wouldn't that be in response to the Obamamania going on right now? Of course.. if you look at a much more "thourough," chart,  maybe you too, will decide - this "media," trend of forecasting that everything's getting all better, really is STUPID.
 
Thanks to Donnie for the hilarious input! Yes - we're all better now. Obama's saved us. OPEC is gaining an iron hold on the economy, prices in gas are being driven up, people are refinancing and buying what they can while it's cheap, the wealthy are investing in apartment complexes, planning on families having to give up their homes and unemployment benefits are running out for everyone! Yes!! Things are getting SO much better, SO fast it makes your head spin! Wheee...... (<---that's the political rollercoaster known as "government," and unfortunately for him, Obama's at the front and the Democrats are in tow. But, just like a rollercoaster, don't forget - in the Amusement Park of politics - the one you get on - is the one you stay on - there are no 'alternate,' routes - and you drag the whole of America along with you!!)!

 Well, the media's done it again! Home Mortgage applications are up! That's EVIDENCE that the economy is turning around and people are ready to start buying homes again.
 
Of course... analysts "do" tend to admit, that more than 90% of those mortgage applications are actually refinance applications being done while the interests rates are down. Sort of, takes away the glamour of that whole "economy turning around," thing.. .doesn't it?
 
Maybe it's just me, or that remaining 10% may have something to do with the fact that homes in foreclosure are being sold for a fraction of what they cost - like many here in this area where homes that 'were' $300k and up, can be purchased for as low as $80k? I don't know about you.. I'm just thinking out loud, here! :)
 
Thanks media - you've done it again. Just more evidence of foot in mouth disease. Didn't they recently announce there may be a cure for the swine flu? Maybe they'll work on the "falsely interpreting economic signals and announcing them out of turn, misrepresenting what's really going on," epidemic, next?

Truth About Health Care

   Well folks, you can thank Glenn Beck for failing the American public as of this morning, July 23, 2009. In fact, I would go so far as to say he embarrassed the whole of the Republican party this morning. In life, there are some things you can joke about that are funny - there are some assumptions you can make that are generically okay - and setting political correctness aside; there are some empty arguments you can blindly toss out there and it's still okay. But, there are some you can't, and health care IS one that you can't attack empty handed. Barrack Obama told a story about a woman who paid into her health insurance but they refused to pay for her cancer treatments, and a story about a person who lost their job and ended up with an exorbitant debt from a life-saving surgery. All that Beck could focus on, was that we "don't know the cancer woman's whole story," and it's probably her fault, and that the guy who lost his job was too "stupid" (yes, word that Beck used ver batim), to get Cobra. He spent plenty of time making fun of both of them simply because Barrack Obama, rather than dragging out a speech with all the details, gave those two highlighted examples of problems with our health care system. They should have never been the brunt of his jokes because: 1: Insurance companies have had an infamy for refusing services they are supposed to provide and 2: because we don't know that the guy with the debt DIDN'T have Cobra. Ignorance only begets ignorance.
 
The problem? People like Glenn Beck with insurance, who are not disabled and haven't hurt, don't know. Glenn will profess that unless you've been an alcoholic and gone through recovery you can't possibly understand things about that system that he does; and he's right. The same goes for health care. But, those of you listening to his show may be in the same position he is, and rather than weeding through ignorance and getting the truth - you had more ignorance blasted in your face. It is now REALLY upsetting me that EVERY FORM OF MEDIA coverage has seem to "Magically," *poof*, forgotten the stories we've had about the health care system since Obama suggested socialized medicine. Sure, there are plenty of stories of people leaving socialized medicine countries and coming to America so they can get the treatment they need, "in time." How do they get their treatment, by paying for it? NO. They come here, broke, and get their treatment through the: SOCIALIZED portion of health care system as it is now??!! Oops - forgot to mention that when attacking socialized medicine, huh? Did we forget that there are LITERALLY thousands of people, EVERY YEAR, leaving THIS COUNTRY to go to Europe, Canada and OTHER countries to get alternative treatments because our health care system won't provide them? Oops - forgot to mention that little caveat when discussing the "evil," socialized medicine, huh?
 
Have we so quickly forgotten the woman in southern california desperately trying to cross the border to Mexico so that she can get an alternate form of cancer treatment for her 5 year old little boy so that he didn't have to be radiated for cancer because he BEGGED her to save him - but the LAW - the LEGAL SYSTEM - the JUSTICE OF AMERICA - sent the authorities after her, blockading roads, and FORCED her to relinquish her child to the medical community to radiate the CR@P out of him? Did you forget that? Did you forget how the GOVERNMENT ALREADY forced people into treatments they didn't want through fearmongering and absolution of power? Oops... sorry... yeah.. forgot there are just a few, bugs, but only a few, right - isolated stories, right? Well, maybe we've ALL forgotten the young lady in Oregon, who was only in her 20's, that needed a LIFE SAVING SURGERY, but her INSURANCE COMPANY wouldn't authorize it until her family initiated a LAWSUIT, and then, when the insurance company conceeded and gave in to actually having to "spend," money to save someone's life - it was TOO LATE AND SHE %^##$%^#@ DIED! Yeah - um - isn't that the "evil," of "socialized," medicine that the Republicans such as Glenn Beck are professing against? You know, the ones where the government gets to decide what treatments you have or makes you stand in lines until you die? WE are NOT a socialized medicine country and yet we have ALL of the same problems as SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.
 
If Socialized medicine was SO BAD, in countries where you get to ELECT your leaders (and America's not the only one people), they STILL don't leave that system. Why not? If it's SO BROKEN, why are we the ONLY country not to use it? from Wikipedia on Socialized Medicine:

[Note - please be aware that the above does NOT ALSO consider that the issues I raise in this article about the welfare system, and the medical coverage in the Military - considered to be some of the best available - fall within the LIMITED spectrum definition of Socialized Medicine in respect to the way that the radio talk show hosts use the term]
 
Look - I'm not advocating for it - not at all. What I don't like is when people like Glenn Beck go on the radio and talk about how "stupid," some kid was for not getting Cobra, stating that it's a government mandate that businesses offer to you and HE IS WRONG. He obviously hasn't done his homework, which he proclaims so "ADAMANTLY," that he does. You CAN be refused Cobra - including for reasons of termination vs. self-terminition. You CAN be refused Cobra if you're disabled and have a pre-existing condition. Okay - so - I'm gonna let you ALL in on a little secret -
 
I'm disabled. I don't have health insurance. Why? Don't I qualify? Sure I do! Even with a pre-existing condition and HUGE bills, I would qualify. You see, for $215 per month, I could pay for a program that requires only a $15 copay per doctor's visit and a 50% copay on my meds. So, every month, my $150 in prescriptions (that's the minimum - it's much larger but I won't tell you how much), would only cost me $75!! Every three months, seeing my doc would only cost me $15, not the usual $180! Yes, $180 for a 15 minute visit to renew my prescription. I have an extremely RARE disorder that does require a specialist I'm afraid. NO - I AM NOT ON WELFARE or State paid assistance. I pay out of pocket. But, let's do the math: I can pay $210 per month (averaging out meds and doc visits), to get EVERYTHING I NEED without health insurance, knowing that if I'm injured, I'm screwed, OR I can pay $295 per month (same avg), knowing that if I'm injured, because of my disability, I would only be covered up to 50%. Let's see, spend an additional $85 per month for that "safety net," that covers 50% of my needs, OR, try to use that $85 to help cover the $400 per month I'm going in the hole because of the entirety of my health needs? Hmm... tough choice... it REALLY, REALLY is. But, I can't afford the middle man ON TOP of the middle man. You see... my doc doesn't really get $180 for the visit - he gets probably half of that. Half of the $90 left over is taken by the clinic while the other half goes to pay into the CURRENTLY EXISTING socialized medicine program we have, for those without insurance who are covered by the government. I don't take advantage of the system even though I qualify, I don't ask for a hand out and am trying hard, on my own, disabled, to make it, and yet I currently have to pay for those who are without health insurance.
 
Is our current health care system broke? You bet it is. Maybe you forgot about the docs who complained with the health care system reforms in the 90's when the health insurance providers switched to a "get 'em in and get 'em out" method (of which HealthNet became infamous for), and the docs would only make money for shorter visits, less bedside manners and LESS tests. It's been in place for so long - because the GOVERNMENT supported it, that maybe you forgot how it changed bedside manners. When people like Glenn Beck argue against "socializing," services because it infringes on their money - they ONLY support Obama's position. He stands against GREED.

THAT IS NOT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY'S STAND on the issue. THAT IS GLENN BECK'S, and Sean Hannity's and Rush Limbaugh and they are making Republicans look greedy, selfish AND STUPID!
 
[Note to Glenn, Sean and Rush - I apologize in ADVANCE if that is NOT the message you intended - but maybe you need to STEP BACK and listen to your words - ie - Glenn - you wrote the book "Common Sense," of which I own five copies, four to still give away on top of the 3 I already have - but it should be COMMON sense to you to realize that this is EXACTLY what you are saying - IN CONTEXT - whether you mean to or not!]
 
Republicans, by the party-term and definition, are NOT greedy. We are NOT selfish - and I wish these guys would shut up - put up - or get off the air. In the infamous words of an infamous man, Lee Iacoca (sorry if I mispelled that), Lead, follow or get out of the way.
 
Argue against socialized medicine without appropriate checks and balances if you will. Argue against socialized medicine that deprives those who wish to pay for their own without penalties if you will. Those things make sense. But, do NOT argue against it because now you have to pay. A caller destroyed Sean Hannity two days ago and in my opinion ONLY (and it IS ONLY my opinion folks - please listen to his show and draw your own conclusions.. I trust you to do this), humiliated him and made him sound like a fool (which is sad, because he's not a fool), when Hannity when off on a tirade about Obama and ENTIRELY circumvented an answer because he had none. Do Republicans believe in the Defense of this country? YES. And, who pays for it? EVERYONE. IT IS SOCIALIZED. Do we believe in good education? YES. And, who pays for it - the parents of the children in school - or EVERYONE? You know the answer. Of course, both of those systems need reform, checks and balances and spending caps. But, that would be the same for medical coverage. We ALREADY have socialized health care under the "guise," known as "welfare," governed by the most idiotic and worthless agency in the WORLD - Department of Human Services. DO WE FORGET where the government buys its medication from to offer the prescriptions to the American people at cheap prices? CANADA, Europe and other foreign countries - NOT AMERICAN pharmaceuticals!!! DANGIT people - DON'T be stupid! Don't be lead like sheep. WHY does Canada get better prescription prices? SOCIALIZED MEDICINE! So - what have we learned?
 
Blindly jumping into socialized medicine - bad - the proof is in the pudding - as it were.
Blindly standing against it  - JUST as bad.
 
We ARE AMERICA. We are a nation that believes in helping the less fortunate. Ellis Island/The Statue of Liberty:

Did you forget that, too? Did you forget that we came to this Country under that VERY pretense? Did you forget the hospitality that was shown to us that we threw to the winds? Did you forget the meaning of care? I'm not a supporter of the Democrat party's philosophies. I DON'T support welfare - and if you've read my posts on here - you'd know that. I DO support a hand up. I DO support helping out. I DON'T support the government telling us where we'll give or spend our money - but I WON'T support the argument that: "It's MY money - so nah, nah," because I'm not childish, selfish or weak. If you are a Republican, and you care AT ALL about your party - you will write to Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, you will write to your State and Federal Representatives and you will say: STOP with the "rich" people bashing. Stop with the selfish "money" hoarding. That is NOT American. That is NOT what this Country is about. Consider a Health Care reform that better manages socialization issues and fair coverage for all people so that those with more money who wish to pay for more services - can do so WITHOUT added taxes or penalties - those without - can at LEAST get the basics with a program that is designed to HELP them recover financially and afford it on their own. But, we ALL share in school. We ALL share in postal and governmental and other issues - because we know these systems DO require a collaborative effort. And then, tell the officials, and those who represent our party on radio and television - SHUT UP. Quit acting like big, stupid, moronic babies without a clue. START doing what you promised - to report the truth. To act WITHOUT bickering over party sides and cover the issues that matter in an INTELLIGENT way. BE INFORMED. (Yes, the little Timmy Teetleburgermeyerwhaterverism was a funny story, well told and I enjoyed it - but ONLY insomuch as the story stood alone on the foolishness of "sob," stories, while the REALITY is that there are HORROR stories in the THOUSANDS happening daily that ARE very serious and CAN'T be ignored!)
 
Yes, straight forward socialized medicine instituted overnight would lead to massive problems, especially with under-estimated cost projections and other issues. Maybe we need more volunteers in medicine. Maybe if the government's going to spend money - it shouldn't be on socialized health care, but more free clinics for those who qualify or whose insurance companies have betrayed them. Maybe we need an FDA that is NOT corrupted and bought out by the pharmaceuticals (you can read more about this in my previous posts), but supports a WIDER variety of health services - including treating DENTAL health care with the same level of concern as regular, medical health care!!
 
Sorry that Glenn Beck bore the brunt of my complaint today, but it was too much and he just happened to be the straw that broke this old camel's back. I will say this: if the current health care reform bill passes - I pray for all of us - because the bickering and fighting will become even more moronic and baby-like and we'll see fighting and mudslinging that usually only children... or politicians... see. We will have massive problems financially and medically and we will see a decline in services just from the medical community that goes on strike and people WILL suffer. I pray for us all. But, remember this: the authorities YOU think YOU need to keep you safe from yourselves, I don't agree with, but I help pay for their services, too. The foreign military YOU think YOU need to keep us from overnight war fighting in foreign countries right now, dying and killing, I don't agree with, but I help pay for. The attorney general's the government FORCES us to pay for to PROTECT them from US, I DEFINATELY don't agree with, but we all help pay for. A reform is needed - YES. The one in play - NO. So - to that extent - the forces fighting this bill must AMASS in numbers and stand against it. But, DON'T do it blindly. DON'T do it because it will hurt your pocket book. Freedom costs - MIND, BODY, HEART, SOUL - BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS. There is a price for freedom - and we must ALL be willing, as a collective, to pay for it. But, WE the people should be commanding what happens with it - NOT Uncle Sam - and THAT is the ONLY true argument to make.

Regarding Wages

   It's been brought to my attention, by the person who transcribes all of this for me, that in my post: How to make a change, that it might have seemed like I was being aggressive toward doctors and lawyers making $200 per hour while the average, blue collar worker makes about 96% less at around $8.00 per hour. I want to clear up, right away, any misconceptions that anyone has that may have led you to believe that I would oppose free commerce and capitalism. In fact, the truth couldn't be much more reveresed. I stand behind the doctors making more in order to cover their college expenses, share their extremely valuable knowledge and making a difference in lives. What I don't agree with is a system where competition is dead. I don't believe in a system where value isn't placed equally acros the board. If the construction worker that built the Doc's office hadn't done the work for $12 - $15 per hour, then the doc wouldn't have an office. Perhaps the Construction Worker didn't have the time nor experience that a Doctor or Lawyer did, but was literally, "general labor." Then, sure, there should be a gap accordingly. I just wanted to make this calirifcation to everyone - because:
 
If health insurance were wiped out (not talking Obama's plan - just the pay/get billed as you go plan so that you're ALWAYS covered), and Doctors could dramatically lower their prices, then it would be a matter of choosing a doc based on their qualifications, and amongst the seven or eight doctors available, they could vie for my interest with competitive pricing. This type of fair and equal capitalist business model is a small part of what really helps an economy to grow and become stabilized. That was all - enjoy and thanks - hope I didn't upset anyone and that there were no confusions from before!!

   I hear a lot of criticism of Obama's stimulus packages, health care packages, bills and the entire left's attempts at "governing," the country. A lot of this criticism frequently refers to the wealthy having to be the ones to pay for all the spending going on in Washington. I've even heard it said that it will "be" the wealthy paying for all this spending simply because the poor don't have it. But, I'd like to expand upon the topic for an issue that I feel should be noted by everyone:
 
When the wealthy pay - so do the poor. The wealthy don't get their money because they live in some different dimension than everyone else. The wealthy get their money by owning businesses, property, stocks and other such investments. When money sits in a trust account, the lending institution earns "interest," on that money by investing it (as a loan) in fields like construction. When developers take out that loan, they know how much they expect to make from the sale of the property, how much they want to spend, and from there, hire contractors who hire sub-contractors and so on. The bottom line, at the bottom end of that list of individuals hired to do the work, are the minimum wage folks. When the wealthy purchase property and "rent," or "lease," it out, it's usually those who can't afford to buy property, (aka, the "not" wealthy), that take up contracts with the wealthy, paying out a certain amount of money each month to rent or lease that business or home. When stocks go up and down, businesses survive/don't survive, we mustn't forget that in the production warehouses for GE (for example), that real people work there, making a minimum wage. While John Doe may have the millions to purchase ten thousand shares of GE, Joe Smith, working in the production factory, only makes enough to support his family. Of course - there are countless levels of income in between - but for the sake of this article, I'm focusing on the two extremes of "rich/poor."
 
What happens when John Doe, our millionaire, has to pay more in property taxes? Joe Smith, the guy making $28,000 per year BEFORE taxes, will see his rent go up. It's not because John Doe's being "mean," or "greedy," but if John Doe has to pay more, he has to be able to make up the difference. When the banks tighten their purse and John Doe's trust account is no longer earning what it did, Joe Smith is offered $10 per hour less than he was before. So, when the wealthy get taxed, so do the poor, and the middle class, and everyone in between. It's a cascading effect that rolls downhill, and if "upper" management/corporate executives don't give up their salaries, guess who's giving up their jobs? That's right - our Joe Smith. And, this problem continues to perpetuate itself. Unfortunately, it gets far worse than this. Because, the same thing happens in reverse. Now that Joe Smith is making $10 per hour less in wages, is paying hire rent and can barely afford to survive as it is, along comes socialized health care, stimulus taxes and other insane laws passed by the all-loving and all-caring Obama administration, and Joe Smith is now paying 3 - 4% more in taxes. May not sound like a lot to some people, but if Joe Smith makes $25k (now that he's lost $10 per hour), he's just added on $875 to his current $3000 tax rate (12% in Oregon avg). Is $21,125 enough for Joe Smith to survive on with a wife and a child, paying $1,200 in rent (the $200 increase being a trickle down effect of John Doe having to raise rent), an additional $200 in food (because the various businesses have now been hurt from these laws and have to make up the difference), and on and on?
 
It's impossible. Joe Smith nets about $1768 per month at the above tax rate. After rent and the increase in food, gas and other expenses, Joe is going in the hole around $500 per month, easy. Now, either John Doe has to lose his renter, or lower his rates. If he can afford to lower his rates (which, in the new Obama economy, he can't), he and Joe might be able to keep going. However, Joe has to move out with his family and find rent that is at least $500 cheaper, and start cutting back on his spending and other activities. With so many homes coming available for rent, the developers slow down, and the banks are no longer providing John Doe as much in Trust earnings any longer. With Joe's spending down, John's stock portfolio isn't looking so good, and he has to start thinning out what he has to be prepared for the worse. Suddenly, the trickle down effect has become the trickle up effect, and no matter how you look at it, everyone, in every tax bracket, will be taxed two or three times for the same thing, just in different ways.
 
Now, I don't doubt that all of you know this. I have no doubts that you're all already thinking about how all of this plays out. But, I just felt it important to add this in, in a time when the news media has lost focus of the outrageous spending just to manage the outrageous health care and supreme court decisions. If we keep everything in perspective and don't lose sight of reality, we will have a better chance at coming through this whole mess!! :) Cheers!

How to make change

   Well - finally I got it. After much hard work and time, I have a solution for ALL of you. Yes - we CAN take back this country peaceably. Yes, we can have a peaceful revolution that will bring about a NEW era. Yes, we can all stand together on equal ground, rich or poor, old or young, and make a difference....
 
TALK WITHOUT ACTION IS WORTHLESS
 
FREEDOM DEMANDS COURAGE - AND COURAGE DEMANDS FREEDOM
 
Our votes are not heard ANY longer and are not effective for change..we are not a republic or democracy and without the controlling power of votes, the government will continue to act without us and against us. We MUST stand together now - and here's how:
 
1. As of tomorrow, all Republicans and those sympathetic to the cause of changing the government's monarchistic attitude - you will stop paying ALL taxes - businesses and people alike.Without incoming tax, not only can the government NOT spend our money, but they can't continue to operate and we shut them down. They strike at our pocketbooks, let's strike at theirs. Yes, this is the same as the Boston Tea Party - we are hurting their money - and that gets their attention. Consequences? Yes - oh yes. Some will go to jail. Some will have fines and lawsuits - but here's the rub - we must ALL fight together. If 10 in your state are arrested, then the remaining 10 million who are fighting back - leave your work and your lives, go to the jails and block the doors - block the courtrooms - block the entrance to the governor's house - let NONE of them out until they release those who have been taken prisoner. DEMAND to be heard. Will all 10 million go to jail? Yeah - maybe - but let's see them try. Will they try to hurt you? YES. But - that would ONLY validate your argument that the CONSTITUTIONAL right of peaceful protesting is being denied by Uncle Sam and the whole world will watch - including your babies -- who will grow up remembering that you stood against tyranny so they could live free. Want to support some services, such as fire, or postal? VOLUNTEER. If you're unemployed - fine - GO make your OWN fire department and postal system - let's FORESAKE theirs if we must. Maybe write your check directly to the government services you WILL support. WHAT WILL THAT DO? Dear fire department - I read you budget and like it - it's better than the one down the street, so here's my $10 contribution (MORE than what they got from you before - trust me)! It creates COMPETITION and we get better services and prices. Screw the IRS - we're NOT paying their salaries so they can come back and attack us? WE DON'T FUND THE ENEMY - THAT IS RETARTED - WE MAY BE A NATION OF MORONS - BUT LET'S ALSO NOT BE STUPID IDIOTIC MORONS AS WELL. Think the military will be a problem? Yeah - YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS will be told to fire on you - their parents. Think it's going to happen? When our military FINALLY wakes up and realizes what the government they're supporting is doing to their families - we will have them on OUR side.
 
2. Turn off television!! The monopoly given to groups like the Bowker group (AND THIS ONE IRKS ME BIG TIME) and the FCC that cause advertising to cost a FORTUNE also raise our prices. THIS IS WHAT SCREWED UP OUR ECONOMY - not freddie barnie maymac - a government monopoly DRIVING up the prices of our daily lives for THEIR greed. Then call the businesses and the media and tell them - NO MORE OF YOUR COMMERCIALS FOR US! The media will LOSE EVERYTHING! They'll come to you crying - what do you want? Then HIT THEM WITH PHONE BOOKS (okay - not really... more like STICKS.. oops.. I mean LOVE) - and tell them - WE WANT THE TRUTH. Quit selling out to Uncle Sam - WE PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES - YOU SERVE US. Report the truth - report what matters and QUIT WITH THIS CRAP you're feeding us - lower the prices of advertising and lower the costs of our economy!!
 
3. Obama said: We are not a people who fear the future - we face it head on! EASY FOR A GUY WHOSE WIFE BUYS $6000 hand bags on the TAX PAYER'S dime. WRONG - WE DO FEAR THE FUTURE AND EVERYTHING HE'S DOING - AND ALL OF US - EVERYONE OF US - 1000 emails each - 1000 letters each - to every congress person, white house, judge, policeman, official in this country - everyone of them... hee hee - just imagine (Miracle on 34th street?).
 
4. Walk into courtrooms, legislature offices, police stations, dhs, and other places, demand to be permitted to video tape EVERYTHING they do - demand records of their spending - publicize it and DEMAND accountability. Should they stop you? Should they tell you no? WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? If it's the truth - if it's honest - they will let you do it - but we both know that won't happen. So - MAKE IT KNOWN. KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU WIN!!!
 
5.  As of tomorrow - NO ONE pays utilities - ANYMORE. Will this suck? Yup - be prepared to buy a LOT of ice for the freezer and fridge - buy candles (or make them - it's actually pretty fun - and GREAT for families with no television to rot their brains) - and watch what happens. The utility companies CAN'T continue to operate if we ALL stopped for a month. Then - DEMAND accountability. FIRE THE Public Utility Commission and establish a NEW one - made of the people - who get to read the letters and complaints and hear what's REALLY going on! Then demand BETTER prices - without affecting jobs - only the higher end corporate salary B.S.
 
6. Refuse to vote. When your choices are worse or worse... when you don't like or agree with the issues - DON'T VOTE!! Instead - DEMAND A RECALL of the current, political officials who attempted to FORCE you to make that choice, showing that they don't represent you anymore and have failed their Political duties - AND FIRE THEM.
 
7. Demand businesses fail of their OWN accord. Demand a recall of ALL the money - or stand on the soil of the U.S. Mint and BLOCKADE the production or transferrence of monies. Blockade the banks. STOP the trading on Wall Street and refuse to let the economy spend more until they DO WHAT THE PEOPLE DEMAND.
 
8. EVERYONE must cancel ALL their insurance - of EVERY kind - as of tomorrow. Since when do we promise to do our job because someone pays us whether we're there or not? Hey - I'm not going into work this week - but pay me anyway?? QUIT paying for middle men. It LOWERS the prices - it regulates availability and quality of service then - TO EVERYONE. Extra money, in small portions can then be charged for those in need - ONLY as those bills are incurred. AND - demand that doctors, lawyers and whatnot - make LESS. Sorry to you high-priced, all knowing, miracle workers. But dang - you may be "special," because you went to school for eight years - but if I didn't shovel coal into a generator - YOUR PRACTICE WOULD HAVE NO POWER. If I didn't bottle medicines for minimum wage - you couldn't prescribe them. If I didn't pump your gas, make our food  or do ANY of those things - YOU WOULD BE WORTHLESS. Demand pay as you go - demand better pricing - and the doctor's - the good ones (the only ones we want left when this is all over anyway), will stick around.
 
9. DEMAND INFRASTRUCTURE IS BAILED OUT - NOT BUSINESSES. IF we begin to rebuild our country's infrastructure, the bridges, railways, pipelines, powerlines, dams and whatnot - that's over 100 years of TENS OF MILLIONS of jobs - and with the ENTIRE country near 10% unemployment - at more than 190 MILLION workers - meaning that 19 million are unemployed - MORE jobs will be created than there are workers. Not hard math to do!
 
10. STAND in front of the courthouses and DA's offices and buildings and BARR the doors - REFUSE to let them operate while there are STILL innocent people in prison! DEMAND accountability from the government - demand Constitutional doctrines are upheld, not "alternate" laws, demand an end to the fear mongering of legal officials trying cases without witnesses or "proof," on some loose level of "probability," that THEY get to decide. DEMAND NO MORE stupid trials (and I promise you - I GUARANTEE YOU 100% on my very soul - that after 3 days - THREE DAYS of "regular" court - you'll be so DISGUSTED with what you see that you will HATE - LITERALLY HATE - the legal system. Trust me - they ALL hate it to - and THEY'RE the system!
 
11. Demand an end to frivolous pay rates by the government. No unions for government jobs. CAP the spending - no "premeire wage" jobs - why? BECAUSE - it's GREAT for the person making the money - but that's OUR MONEY - and that's why their "non" premeire wage jobs make so little and they seem to be too BLIND AND IGNORANT to understand that! How do we do that? Everywhere there's a government contractor - refuse to do business - refuse to work with them, BLOCKADE their doors.
 
Folks - what will happen? Will we all be arrested? Sure - there could be 20 million people put in jail... yeah right. QUIT living in fear - freedom demands sacrifice.Without money - they can't try you in court anyway!! Don't think about this or just "email" it - call everyone you met at the tea parties - call the organizers - call the radio stations - get the word out that you're doing this - ALL of you. Pick a date within the next two months - AND DO IT. ALL OF YOU. Coordinate it nation wide. The government will have 2 choices: try to threaten you to stop you - and this will EMPHASIZE their fear and a revolution will FINALLY happen and change will come - OR - they will try to negotiate in advance. DON'T give in to "partial" meeting on "even" grounds. IT'S NOT EQUAL GROUND. THEY WORK FOR US. THEY DO WHAT WE SAY - ENTIRELY - NOT IN PART. THAT'S THE ONLY COMPROMISE YOU'LL MAKE - EVERYTHING. Then... and only then... will change happen - and even better - you never had to resort to all of the above.
 
Up to you -watch your lives get worse, and pick your noses and act ignorant like you didn't see it coming or know what to do - OR START DOING SOMETHING. These ideas WILL work. They WILL demand change. But we must ALL come together and do it - WE THE PEOPLE!!! It's peaceful - it's effective.

The Boston Tea Party that wasn't

UPDATE: While this article sounds aggressive - please note the comment made and the response - in that it provides clarity that while I saw this happening locally, it may be isolated to less than half the tea parties at this extreme level. Yet, make no mistake - I've not seen anything come from these parties - yet - only time will tell (and then I'll update this again! woohoo!)
 
Picture it - 1773, A bunch of revolutionary freedom fighters stealthily approach the large, cargo ship, prepared to risk their very lives for the people they've sworn to protect. Against all odds, these brave souls will board that freighter and find the one thing that matters to the King and his minions - their money! They will stomp on their money, throw it overboard and get the attention of the beaurocrats in a way that has never before had so much success. These men are profound. They are great. Their boldness will go down in history as a turning point in the building of a Nation's freedom. Finally, the men reach their goal.. an East India Trading Company ship filled with tea. Their brethren of earlier had been thwarted in their attempts at a peaceful revolution, and these 200 brave souls, determined to do what's right and make a difference, approached that cargo ship filled with tea...
 
And then they spent the better half of the evening talking about the change they wanted and went home. The end.
 
Hmmm? Is it just me.. or was that sort of, anti climatic, ineffectual and.. well... just dumb? What happened to the throwing of the tea overboard? What happened to revolting in the names of those who died at the Boston Massacre? What happened to standing up for the 2000 men who earlier that day were threatened into submission? DID ANYTHING HAPPEN AT ALL? Nope - the King continued to rule, happily ever after and the concept of FREEDOM was never born.
 
WELCOME TO AMERICA - 2009.
 
I did NOT go to the Fourth of July "tea" parties in the park, where people gathered in "social," cliques to talk about how picked upon they were, how unfair the government was being, play games, laugh and celebrate America's Independence, the whole while acknowledging that America was NO LONGER America - and then go home drunk. WHAT IN THE SAM HELL IS GOING ON? ARE ALL OF YOU THAT RETARTED that you CANNOT understand the worthlessness of what you're doing? WHO DO YOU THINK RALLIED THIS TEA PARTY REVIVAL? Because, I can assure you - it was NO ONE interested in reinacting history. Because, historically, our fore fathers, in the face of prison, death and torture, knowing they may never come home to their babies, but at least their children would have a FUTURE of FREEDOM, did NOT stand around like chickens in a hen house, mindlessly clicking away at one another.
 
ARE WE THAT DEAD? Is IT REALLY OVER? If you don't believe that such drastic action is needed - then obviously - you don't believe that there's EVEN A REASON FOR A TEA PARTY - and YOU ONLY WENT TO DRINK AND SOCIALIZE. And, the people who coordinated them from the start - the LIBERALS. Yes - the DEMOCRATIC, LEFT WING party organized them in an effort to MAKE YOU FORGET. Were the men on the Boston Harbor that night full up with drink and merriment? FOR HEAVENLY FATHER'S SAKE - NO!! How much more OBVIOUS do you want this to be? What can I do? Yelling doesn't work? Hitting you WON'T work. Back in 1776, the colonists endured the Stamp Act, the Townsend Act and EVEN the Boston Massacre, rallying in groups - JUST LIKE YOU ARE NOW - to talk about the change that was needed. You know what happened? NOTHING!! It wasn't until their very foundation of what they REALLY cared about - THEIR MONEY - was undermined when their tea was taxed, that they FINALLY did what's right?
 
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU? The stamp act outright told the people that their voices meant nothing. THAT'S ALREADY HAPPENED HERE! The Townsend Act was designed to create a "legal," system that would help prosecute those that tried to stand against the government - THAT'S ALREADY HAPPENED HERE, TOO! The Boston Massacre was about police authority run amok, innocents dying at the hands of corrupted cops with too much power - and THAT'S ALREADY HERE AND GROWING IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS (for those who care to actually "read" the news and see what's going on - not ignore it). What's next? What's it going to take? Everything else has happened...
 
But no, as it says in Ecclesiastes - there is no new thing under the sun. I'm afraid, history's doomed to repeat itself because the PEOPLE WON'T LISTEN. YOU WON'T wake up. the radio talk show hosts are wrong - you're not starting to wake up at all. The Democrats are spending your money, raising your taxes and doing so like children at a toy store, letting their compulsions go wild and excercising no restraint or care for you - the person WITH the money. Will you act then? Will you quit with your little "whoopdeedoo" tea parties, playing around like people who DON'T have the common sense to even DESERVE freedom? Will you do what it takes then, when your money's all gone? OF COURSE YOU WILL. That will be the straw that breaks the camel's back - just like it was in 1770. And, just like it was in 1770, you'll lead us into turmoil and dissent. Why? BECAUSE YOU'RE ALL TOO LAZY AND COMPLACENT TO LISTEN? Am I doing something? YES. And, I've suffered for it. I've LOST EVERYTHING. But, rather than have all of you, whom I was trying to protect, come to my aide and demand my freedom, I continue to suffer and it gets worse every minute of every day. YOU are the people who killed Dr. King. YOU are the people that empowered slavery until it required war. YOU are the people crashing this country. Rather than act now, while you can - you sit and do nothing - and nothing happens.
 
Think about it a while... stew on it.... suffer from that in your hearts where you know it's true... go sit and watch your mind-numbing television, trying not to "think," about it, because you know it's true and it's bothering you. Then, when you're ready to get off your lazy ARSE and DO SOMETHING NOW - first thing's first -
 
GET ME OUT OF THIS MESS.
 
Then, let's stand together!! HAHAHAHAHAHA -
Well, like King, I'll dream too - but we both know how it ends for me.
Sadly, it only seems that I know how it ends for you... and your end is much worse.

trapped

   Sorry for no posts for a bit - so much going on in the political and personal worlds, it's hard to keep track of it all. In fact, I will also apologize in advance as this post will NOT be about current news events - only because I think that you need to understand what's really - REALLY happening with this country. You see, I've spent two years trapped between the most terrifying place on Earth and the most terrible place of the soul. We live in a unique time in history where the legal system has run so rampant and out of control, where liberals and democrats have so viciously shredded the last values of anything that mattered in our society, that we are all blind to it - until we become the victim. Don't think you're blind to it? You are. Why? Because, when something is so big, so out of control and so horrible, it's human nature to ignore it and hope it goes away. When something is technically, "untouchable," it makes us feel helpless and afraid and we strive to pretend it's not there so that we can justify going on with our lives like everything's okay. Like an alcoholic in the family, an out-of-control teenager stealing from his own family or an abusive partner, we ignore the everyday horrors our government has wreaked upon us, as the once heralded-denizons of truth and justice, who have become the Salem Witch Hunters of the late 17th century.
 
We're fed lies and false stories from the media, telling us about the "terror," that exists in our own back yard. Stories are made up about international "terrorists," who live only to destroy America and murder us in our sleep. Holywood produces movies like House of Wax and Saw, so that we can be assured of our fears over the "possibility," that these types of people exist out there in the world. But, I have news for you - they don't. If Osama Bin Laden was hunting down America to destroy it, then where is he? Where are his daily, ceaseless attacks against us? After all, the "JiHad," and other terrorists have enough money to launch daily assaults against the U.S. Armed forces and kill our troops, then where are they? Every other country they "protest," they've marched in their streets, bringing the fight to them, finding both peaceful and none peaceful resolutions. What, they're "afraid," because we're America? Since when is our hated enemy worth countless, young lives of militia, "afraid," of us? Where are all these murderers and killers and rapists walking our streets? You would think, that with a current prison population of THREE MILLION people, you might have bumped into these folks once or twice? If you truly believe law enforcement is the righteous group of citizens it claims to be, then obviously, you are on the top of the list for those ignoring what's around them everyday.
 
Are we in imminent danger from this sudden outpouring of bad guys in this country? Are Hitler, Stalin and the Joker going to suddenly break out of Arkham and run rampant on the streets, rallying all of the underground mafia members to destroy us? Oh Batsy, where art thou? NO. I could go on - but I think that it would be pointless, because, you're sitting there, right now, telling yourself that the four walls around you and a horde of policemen, D.A.'s, Judges and courtrooms keep you safe. Somehow, you've become SO ignorant to the truth, that you volutarily CHOOSE to ignore that the idea that your yearly safety costs $100 MILLION dollars per you. Yes you - and you - and you and everyone of you - EACH of you cost this much (see previous blog entry on this). WHY DO YOU THINK AMERICA'S IN DEBT? We're paying more out than we're bringing in. The math is PRETTY simple to figure out. Just to keep you breathing, from the masses of evils out there costs more per year than the entire salary of Congress (and that's ALOT!).
 
But, here's the catch. Here's the quandry - the little, "oopsy," - if you will: There really aren't people out there to get you. The world's not chalk full of terrorists and supervillains on every corner! I know, that's a LOT to swallow, but there's more - so hold on! While you have this ELEPHANT sized problem walking around your living room and are trying to pretend it's not there, what you seem to have ALSO, FOOLISHLY accepted to forget, is the fact that the elephant WILL get hungry. And, when he wants your attention, he'll stomp his massive foot down on you, pinning you to the ground and crushing the life out of you. His need to be seen and heard, lest he starve, is so veracious, that he will hold you down while he hurts those you love, and give you two choices: do as he says, or die.
 
What choice would you make? If a cop walked in your home and said: admit YOU'RE the killer, or we're taking away you're kid and you're never gonna see him again? What would YOU do? Would you gamble with your child's life? WHO'S going to believe you over the cops? The people? Maybe - but it's NOT the people out to get you - it's the Democratically controlled legal system that has forsaken the Constitution and your rights that needs to feed. If they lie and attack you and whisk away your child in the night, then come back to you one day and say: If you fight your case and win - you'll lose your child forever because he's been away from you for so long - right or wrong - just because that's how the system works - what would you do? If they say: If you fight your case and lose - you'll lose your child forever because you're going to prison - what would you do? If they say: If you give up custody now, we'll go easy on you and maybe, just maybe, you're child won't suffer because of your selfishness and he'll be able to see you a little.
 
Now, what would you do?
 
Be a selfish jerk, fight for your innocence KNOWING the ENTIRE system's corrupted and NOTHING is about the truth, KNOWING that you have MORE than a 50/50 chance of never getting to say goodbye to your little baby if they drag you away? Would you be the self-righteous arse who stands up for what he believes and wins, only to watch the system drag away your only baby, kicking and screaming for you to save him, helpless as he disappears into the dark while they whisper in your ear: "Congratulations - you won...."? Or, do you take that Alford plea, accept your fate is screwed, try not to let the idea that God forgot about you fill your heart while you hang desperately to some thin, strand of faith and hope, and look your child in the eye, holding them, seeing their wonderful smile, knowing that they'll never understand what you've just given up? Do you surrender the only thing of value that defines us as Americans - your freedom - to be there - if only for a little while longer, for your baby? No - you'll never get them back - the system won't allow it. You're branded for life and can't expect to get a job or be accepted because the stupid, ignorant, LIBERAL, self-righteous sheep in this country (which you were once a part of), are stalking the internet for names to check on their neighbors and empower that FEAR that started all of this in the first place. And, when you scream - no one hears you. When you cry - you cry alone. When you sit there in the darkness, shivering, cold and shaking, only God can see you - because the people - the ones he put here and trusted to help care for one another - will ignore you too - like the elephant in their living room.
 
I'm about to make that choice. I've been writing to the director of this blog to carry my words to the people in the hopes it would help you - but it won't. I see that now. None of you listen - well - no one seems to actually read any of this. And, if you did - it doesn't matter - because you couldn't see the truth. The storm is ALREADY over your heads, the floodwaters are rising, the lightinging is crashing down, and you STILL won't do anything. But, I can't blame you, because I was once you. I too, once pretended like everything was okay. I too, once got involved in bad relationships, ignoring the obvious. I too, once held so tightly to that small strand of freedom - that faint glimpse of hope that was "American," praying that it meant something. But, I was wrong - and so are you. It's not freedom - it's living in a fear. It's not real - it's all a lie - and we contribute to it each day we do nothing. I have finally caught on, along with several family members, that we are being stalked. This goes far beyond me. It's not just paranoia - because now we have video footage. It's getting out of hand. We're ALL living in this fairy tale, and when someone like me, and the transcriber of this blog, start trying to wake you up from the fake Cinderella story - they - whomever "they," are - whatever, "they" are - take notice - and take action. We talk - they act - and that's why THEY'RE successful, and we're not.
 
It's a terrible place to be, I can promise you. Foresake your child to have freedom to try and protect your baby, only to lose them, or foresake yourself, knowing you can never again protect your baby, but at least you get to watch them grow - for a while - and say goodbye so they're not left to the wolves entirely. Think you've got hard decisions in life to make? You have no idea what hard is. Especially - when you're innocent - and only the wealthy can afford freedom....

An Empire revisited - freedom lost

Quite some time back I discussed America as an up and coming Empire - An Empire being:
 
1. The region over which Imperial Dominion is exercised,
2. A group of countries under a single authority (which, Great Britain, and America, both qualify as),
3. A monarchy with an Emperor as the head of state,
4. conglomerate, a group of diverse companies under common ownership and run as a singular entity
 
An Imperial Dominion - a supreme ruler over all nations. Look at what America is - is it a Republic? Well, a Republic is a conglomerate, but the people have influence over the government through some form of Democracy or similar political structure. I'm not really sure that America completely qualifies as a republic any longer, given the limitations on freedom, passing of laws without representation and misrepresentation in the passing of certain laws which place dominion and control on the people. Of course, as we are on the path to a Marxist Socialist way of life, the definition of an Empire becomes more clear for America. Actions in our economy such as "the New Deal," by Roosevelt, most certainly took us away from being a Republic and began instituting solid foundations in Imperial Dominion.
 
As I discussed in my last article, "The New Deal '2'," the investment of the government into overpricing is most certainly tearing our economy apart as it's replaying the events that helped lead up to the great depression. A loaf of bread that was $2 is now $100, and box cars that were $75,000, are now $2,000,000; and the government won't back those items at those inflated prices, or else the currency, it's "I.O.U.'s," would devalue the gold that backs it. If you read about what happened with Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac, GSE's that bought overpriced Mortgages/home loans (that the people couldn't repay, driving home prices through the roof), and how AIG created insurance policies to back these overinflated mortgages, you begin to see more and more of how the government, with a power/rule that far exceeds a standard "Republic," committed an act which helped contribute to the dramatic economic difficulty we're in now. The problem is, AIG is holding onto insurance policies that the government won't back. Amtrak's holding onto boxcars that the government won't back. But, because of their being in bed together, because of GSE's and special interest and Wall Street, the government creates bail outs and stimulus packages that do what? Bail out the government - NOT the people. Is that a Republic? Is that representing the interests of the people? Does that even INVOLVE the people, or were the people just pawns in this big, game? It's GSE's... bailing out GSE's, and in the process, gaining MORE control of those companies, such as AIG (as they already had Amtrak), and suddenly, the definition of an Empire as a conglomerate, run as a single business, begins to be made even MORE clear.
 
Roosevelt's "New Deal," and all of the sham government controls over things like "social security, housing and civil works," would crash if the government crashes. They are inflated as it is now, and as economists have warned, will become hyperinflated. The government won't back them. That's why, when you heard that AIG had to be saved to protect companies and GM had to be saved to protect jobs - it did NOTHING. the same jobs were all still lost. The same bonuses were all still given. The bailouts and the stimulus have nothing to do with protecting the people - only the GSE's - the government - and its special interests. If jobs are saved along the way, then great - but that's only a "secondary," to the main goal of government covering their own actions. See, if AIG failed, the banks would need to collect on the debts. Who do they go to? The same GSE's that purchased the overinflated mortgages in the first place ... Uncle Same (through Freddie Mae and Mac). But, Uncle Sam can't back the bank's demands without devaluing the gold. If the dollar's worth 10 pieces of gold instead of 1 - think about what that would mean to the rest of the world and their wanting to collect... we'd be in a world of hurt.
 
This has been seen in history where an Empire overspends. Julius Caesar was spending left and right, building his armies, catering to the poor (through entertainment, not actually "solving," their problems...) to make them "believe" he was cool, then turning on them. His power was becoming absolute and he was ruining the country. He had to be stopped. Hitler originally invested in a lot of programs that supported a lot of jobs, until he began internalizing his power to become an Emperor. He began spending on government only projects - increasing his military's strength, specialized weapons projects, funding internal government sources to be his personal regime to maintain absolute authority, and this got him in trouble with his fellow leaders and the people. Jobs declined, but the government got wealthier. He had to be stopped. The British Empire had stretched its arms out to the world and spent a lot of money to do it. In fact, in all its spending, it sold itself short. It soon began to lose hold of its colonies. In America, where the King of England was lavishing his own with monies, it created dissention and chaos, even with their neighbors, France. The point is - everywhere overspending has been an issue, the value of the economy and currency declined, nothing good came of it. This includes the Great Depression and America. The government helped march us there, and rather than march back out, they somehow convinced us to let them keep going.
 
Are we a Democracy? That's a question you have to answer for yourself. Are we free? I certainly hope you don't think that getting to print a few words on the internet is freedom- because I can assure you - even though another is typing these words for me, both they and I do so in fear of retribution from our government. Have you control in voting on how YOUR tax dollars are spent? A republic would. Do you have control in what laws are passed? A republic would. Do you have control of who's in the primaries for you to vote on in an election, or who gets to be president without the electoral college's special interference OR who the next supreme court justice would be? A democracy... would. This isn't even a representative democracy. People were angry about the AIG spending, but would the government take the hit for what they did and represent the people? Nope. They said, "Bad AIG, no more really, really big, personal bonuses for you - only little ones." Is that... representing what you wanted?
 
Your stimulus monies have gone mostly to law enforcement for the streets and justice for the courts and special interest for the government, while the jails and schools suffer. Is that what you voted on? I mean, after all, you know that when there's no money left, you'll have to join in on the rioting to get bread to feed your family, so it's good there's more law enforcement to stop you, right? Hmm....
 
Are you even getting a say so in the legalization of marijuana? HAHAHAHAHA - I don't care to comment on what I think about it - but we're talking about a very OLD and very SENSITIVE issue - and you get NO voice. Especially, if you're NOT for it, and it gets passed - did your 'elected official,' do what you elected them to do (or vice versa)?
 
A republic, this is not. Not anymore.
 
A capitalist country, this is not, not under the conglomeration of private business to government say so and control.
 
A democracy, this is not. Not with the voice of the people fading into the wind.
 
So, what are you left with? Do the math people. Not too many choices out there. There's socialism, and marxist socialism. There's communism, monarchy's and dictatorships. There's aristocracies (which America has been for a long time now) and fascism (which also defines America's political structure perfectly).
 
Sure - there are a few other choices. But, once you've passed by a republic and a democracy, and capitalism has declined - so has freedom. So, whatever your equation ends up with - freedom is not going to be a part of it anymore.

The New Deal "2" - Death of an economy

Okay, if you want more background on this, please read my last post: Economic Forecast Follow-up. Be forewarned, what I'm about to give you is not a "prediction," an "estimation," a "best-guess," or a "conspiracy." I can promise you, it is not paranoia or any personal agenda that prompts me to write this. The foundation of what I'm about to present to you is the title of this entire blog: When Governments Lie - the people suffer. And, it's true. When our elected officials no longer represent us, act on our behalf or care whether or not their actions are hurting the people, then the control spire which was there to make sure that our "Government," in the land of the free and home of the brave, is no longer functioning. The government is no longer of the people, by the people ....
 
or for the people.
 
The Democratic Party - the party in control of the White House, in control of the Presidency and in control of the Economy, under the leadership of President Obama, is taking a dangerous position that is counter-productive to our economy and our stability. I usually hate taking sides folks, but this time around, the actions from the Government and the media being lead by them cannot be attributed to any other source. I'm not saying the Republicans are the only right ones - because our party has not done its job in cleaning house when this is the PERFECT time to do so (because we don't have influence in Washington, we might as well spend this time getting our party straight). But, the Left is in control, and it is under the direct leadership of the Left, no bleed-through from any previous administration, which is misleading the people. How so?
 
Obama has been encouraging investments in the Stock Market, and under this article, perhaps you will take as much delight as I did in the first sentence: "It's official. Obama thinks you're an idiot." I'll let you read that article to fully understand all the little quirks of Obama's "invest in the stock market to prove to America we're doing okay" plan. But, I'd like to draw your attention to another point of the stock market known as GSE's (government sponsored enterprises). These are not new, and have been around since the early 1900's. However,  GSE's started out as a different purpose than what they are today. You should note the following: The government possesses warrants with 79.9% ownership in these companies that would allow them to walk in and take full control at any time. With more recent companies like Freddie Mac and the banking/mortgage institutions, the government has several TRILLION $$'s in assets on record. What are those assets? Our HOMES.  The GSE's include ownership of companies - and stocks in the capital market - including WALL STREET (ie. their ownership of ... oil stocks.... :).. cool, huh?). This was "supposedly" to help raise long-term funds. But, let me simplify this:
 
If you invest in Wall Street - and help raise that number - there's a good chance that you're going to be investing in the government (ie. AMTRACK - who -- don't forget - was given $18 million in stimulus funds, in Delaware, for NINE box cars to be renovated, and yet, it is OWNED and controlled by the government, NOT free enterprise...). Of course, if the government wants to encourage your spending, they can simply do something as simple as... oh wait... give stimulus monies to the GSE's that are reflected in the stocks and it makes the stock market go up! So.. wait a second... let's pull all this together...
 
Could it possibly be, that the "increases," in the stock market (which some of you may have been watching what I have), seem to occur in sync with the issue of stimulus monies (and/or spending of it)? Could it possibly be that consumer confidence in Wall street IS down, and Obama, is just trying to do what he said he would BEFORE the election, and back in February? That is, to convince the American People to invest more money into the stock market? So - what does this mean? Would the government really do this? Would they issue out "stimulus" monies that mostly protect only the government and its investments and create a "false" sense of security in the stock market to encourage you to invest knowing that you're really just helping fund the government more?
 
The answer you're looking for is YES. This is EXACTLY what they're doing. If the stock market fails, multitudes of the government fail - because they get some of their monies through the stock market. AIG and others failing - was NOT about the American people, it was about the GOVERNMENT. See, no one's been telling you this. They've all said (even me), let them fail - if they're private enterprise, then let capitalism work. And, while that's true, the government's been operating quietly in the background not telling you that it's their own backsides they're trying to cover!! This is a complex issue folks, and I wish I had the space to detail this ALL for you (if I had a radio talk show - I could do it - but I know that reading LONG blogs is difficult).
 
The point is this - they're lying about the stock market and the economy. They want people to invest, or else it's the government that could collapse, and all the bogus, money-scams they've been running with it! The lie will cause you to give up your hard earned money into stocks that they own 79.9% of - and can reclaim in FULL, during times of an "economic crisis," (hmm....), and you will lose everything. This is NOT the great depression we're heading towards. Oh no, that wouldn't be as bad as what we're heading toward. Back then, when stocks dropped, it took wheelbarrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread. But, you won't have wheelbarrows full, or loaves to buy, because the government's going to reclaim its ownership of your stocks, and your money, and it will shut down the borrowing capacity to farmers and agriculture who were growing the wheat that can no longer afford to do so. THAT is the real danger. THAT is the big collapse we are heading toward. I'm not an "economist," and I don't know all the "ins and outs," of financial trade. But, I do know this:
 
U.S. currency - whether paper or coin, is an I.O.U. It is an object whose value is based solely upon the ability of the signer of that I.O.U. to reimburse you for it. I buy bread from you - I don't give you anything of value, because I have nothing. I give you an I.O.U., and the point and purpose of the Federal Reserve System, the F.D.I.C. and others, who are ALL government run - NOT privately (I say this, because you might remember that Obama just broke the law and fired the inspector general - one of the "peoples'", controls over the government... so yes, be afraid, be very afraid), is so that you can take your I.O.U. note to the bank and get reimbursed. During the great depression, why then did it take a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread, did the gold that backs those I.O.U.'s disappear or its international value drop to zero? No -
 
People lost jobs, couldn't spend, and their BORROWING capacity was reduced to nil and repossessions occurred galore! The stock market crashed because banks were forcing collection on debt (remember, they're the ones backed by the gold - but for some reason, this didn't seem to matter?? oh yeah - PBS that aired that - sort of left that out... guess who owns PBS... yep - Uncle Sam). If you read Ohio's take on the cause, it's because stocks were sold for more than what they were worth (hmm.. didn't Uncle Sam's I.O.U. notes help dictate all of that?). What's the ultimate conclusion of all this: that when the government was causing the U.S. Dollar to no longer have the value it did (and yes - regardless of what you'll read in some places, the banks set that dollar standard, and they were taken over LONG ago by the government, and Uncle Sam is the one who pulled his backing of the currency), and people realized that selling an item for $1 no longer meant $1, but $0.20 cents. Now bread was worth a wheelbarrow full of money. The gold's still there, but the value of the dollar dropped because those governing it wouldn't back it up at the same level anymore. And Hoover, the President in charge in 1929, said: We don't believe in helping the individual people. Sorta' sounds like... the whole thing was the fault of a selfish/capitalist government.. but maybe I'm just guessing here...
 
The lie - and how it hurts us? Back to my blog on the $18 million that saved 9 box cars for renovation... think about this... a new box car is worth: $75,000 max, and that's with a lot of the amenities. Just like buying a loaf of bread for $100 in 1929, we're buying a $75,000 box car with $2 million dollars. See the correlation? Understand how the lie is beginning to undermine this economy? No - it's not greed that will be spawned (oohh.. my box car's worth $2 mil), because the government OWNS Amtrak. It's a failure for the stock market, because the stocks the government owns are getting undermined, and the issuance of tens of trillions of dollars that are bottoming out our economy. Who cares if it's going to take 50 years just to pay back what the government spends in 2009 alone? That's ASSUMING the dollar's value goes back up! We need to be concerned about abuses with the stimulus money, falsely reporting to people that they should be investing in the stock market, "or companies will fail," and begin understanding that the lie will cause our stock investments to bottom out and crash our economy - again! Buying stocks in Amtrak... well... you just bought $18 million dollars in box cars, that MAY be worth.. AT BEST... $900,000. Remember the 1929 crash? Stocks being sold for more than what they were worth? The government saying - hey - we're not gonna' back your stock, we can't get more than $900,000 for those box cars in international trade and we MOST CERTAINLY, can't devalue our gold! The banks saying, um - you need to give us money now, because Uncle Sam's pulling his value out of the dollar?
 
If you can see the writing on the wall.. or even if you can't.. you need to read the Top 10 New Deal arrangements made by Franklin Roosevelt. What you're going to see is that we did NOT fix the problem. We didn't even band-aid it. The government reclaimed control of those GSE's I mentioned in the last article - and the results are what you see today. What was broken, got worse. In 1929, they LET the people and the businesses fail because there was NO way to bail them out. What the New Deal REALLY did - was to make sure that Uncle Sam doesn't take as much of a hit if it happens again (yes, I know, there were a couple of good things in it, too - but not enough).
 
The next, "New Deal," is upon us - and it will HAVE to be even MORE restrictive than last time and require an even GREATER failure for the people than last time. Are you ready? I'm not...
