Economic forecast follow-up... again

UPDATE** (especially for Donnie) - yup - housing starts SOARED 11% - so obviously - we're getting all better, right? Hmm.. check this out:

While Washington reports a soar in housing starts, from the other side of America, I report this: privately owned housing unit building permits were 8.7% up in June from May, 2009 - but 52% lower than June 2008. Privately owned housing starts in June were up 3.6% above May (this is that 11.3% referred to by Washington), but are 46% BELOW June 2008. Housing completions were 4% below the May, 2009 numbers, and 27.7% below the June numbers. But, the single-family housing completions were 8.9% above May's figures!! Although... in buildings with five or more units (you know - apartments, townhomes, etc.), were more than half that number.

Just remember - "privately owned housing rates," = single family dwelling all by itself. Single family housing rates = apartment. And, don't forget, with the bottom falling out on the housing market, and the interest rates cheaper - "why" those people who have the funds to do so are building new homes!! (Do I really, REALLY have to explain this? Please say no...). And, don't forget why people are moving out of their "privately," owned homes into townhouses/apartments - because they're broke! And, no, I'm sorry to report, that Government Motors.. erm, um, I mean, GM & Chrysler are not doing too well. The cash for clunkers program? Well, check this out:

"Cash for clunkers will end Nov. 1 or when the $1 billion in subsidies expire, whichever occurs first. Congress must decide later this year whether to approve legislation extending it into 2010."

Want a little feedback on what that really means? AAA reports that as of 2008, there are 230 - 250 million cars on the American roadways. Let's see, at $4,500 a piece (oops.. reread that statement.. as MUCH as $4500 a piece... hmmm...), that's about $1.125 trillion dollars. Or.. about 8.8 x 10 to the negative fourth PERCENT of the total cost for everyone to trade in their cars. (yes... less than 1%). So.. till November 1st or when the $1 billion runs out. Sounds like a push... sounds like someone trying to "force," people into cars without reading all the writing. Wait.. wait a second... hold on? Isn't that what Obama's doing with the... you know.. Health Care bill? Wow... guess what!? He knows how to just get things into place without giving people a chance to see what he's really doing!! So - I suppose there'a a GOOD reason that the "cash for clunkers," program, is NOT stimulating American consumer confidence....

And, yes, unemployment rates continue to remain DRAMATICALLY low - but - what does that mean? How long has the Bureau of Labor Statistics been recording job rates vs. unemployment rates? Well, in 1935, of course, in RESPONSE, to the Great Depression. That means, BOLI, has about 74 years of statistics - although - we can probably imagine, those first ten to twenty years were absolute turmoil and we don't "really," know. That, of course, doesn't account for the fact that not every State jumped on board immediately - and - oh yeah - unemployment statistics only account for those CLAIMING it - not those whose claims have expired! And, finally, if you've read the EIA's statistics on gas prices, you'd see that since 2007, the prices skyrocketed, then magically plummeted in November of 2008! Well, thank goodness that Obama paved the way for people to drive once more, raising the supply and demand curve! Of course, we shouldn't forget that gas prices are set by analysts "predicting the future!" Yes, that's right - 'analysts,' who have a crystal ball, set the prices for gasoline in response to what's going on. Seeing that America didn't explode, they decided in November - that 'oops,' maybe we went too far. They fell for the Obamamania that struck America. Funny though - gas prices seem to be rising dramatically again? Wouldn't that be in response to the Obamamania going on right now? Of course.. if you look at a much more "thourough," chart,  maybe you too, will decide - this "media," trend of forecasting that everything's getting all better, really is STUPID.

Thanks to Donnie for the hilarious input! Yes - we're all better now. Obama's saved us. OPEC is gaining an iron hold on the economy, prices in gas are being driven up, people are refinancing and buying what they can while it's cheap, the wealthy are investing in apartment complexes, planning on families having to give up their homes and unemployment benefits are running out for everyone! Yes!! Things are getting SO much better, SO fast it makes your head spin! Wheee...... (<---that's the political rollercoaster known as "government," and unfortunately for him, Obama's at the front and the Democrats are in tow. But, just like a rollercoaster, don't forget - in the Amusement Park of politics - the one you get on - is the one you stay on - there are no 'alternate,' routes - and you drag the whole of America along with you!!)!

Good Luck!

Original Article below:

Well, the media's done it again! Home Mortgage applications are up! That's EVIDENCE that the economy is turning around and people are ready to start buying homes again.

Of course... analysts "do" tend to admit, that more than 90% of those mortgage applications are actually refinance applications being done while the interests rates are down. Sort of, takes away the glamour of that whole "economy turning around," thing.. .doesn't it?

Maybe it's just me, or that remaining 10% may have something to do with the fact that homes in foreclosure are being sold for a fraction of what they cost - like many here in this area where homes that 'were' $300k and up, can be purchased for as low as $80k? I don't know about you.. I'm just thinking out loud, here! :)

Thanks media - you've done it again. Just more evidence of foot in mouth disease. Didn't they recently announce there may be a cure for the swine flu? Maybe they'll work on the "falsely interpreting economic signals and announcing them out of turn, misrepresenting what's really going on," epidemic, next?

It's fun to dream....

An Empire revisited - freedom lost

Quite some time back I discussed America as an up and coming Empire - An Empire being:

1. The region over which Imperial Dominion is exercised,
2. A group of countries under a single authority (which, Great Britain, and America, both qualify as),
3. A monarchy with an Emperor as the head of state,
4. conglomerate, a group of diverse companies under common ownership and run as a singular entity

An Imperial Dominion - a supreme ruler over all nations. Look at what America is - is it a Republic? Well, a Republic is a conglomerate, but the people have influence over the government through some form of Democracy or similar political structure. I'm not really sure that America completely qualifies as a republic any longer, given the limitations on freedom, passing of laws without representation and misrepresentation in the passing of certain laws which place dominion and control on the people. Of course, as we are on the path to a Marxist Socialist way of life, the definition of an Empire becomes more clear for America. Actions in our economy such as "the New Deal," by Roosevelt, most certainly took us away from being a Republic and began instituting solid foundations in Imperial Dominion.

As I discussed in my last article, "The New Deal '2'," the investment of the government into overpricing is most certainly tearing our economy apart as it's replaying the events that helped lead up to the great depression. A loaf of bread that was $2 is now $100, and box cars that were $75,000, are now $2,000,000; and the government won't back those items at those inflated prices, or else the currency, it's "I.O.U.'s," would devalue the gold that backs it. If you read about what happened with Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac, GSE's that bought overpriced Mortgages/home loans (that the people couldn't repay, driving home prices through the roof), and how AIG created insurance policies to back these overinflated mortgages, you begin to see more and more of how the government, with a power/rule that far exceeds a standard "Republic," committed an act which helped contribute to the dramatic economic difficulty we're in now. The problem is, AIG is holding onto insurance policies that the government won't back. Amtrak's holding onto boxcars that the government won't back. But, because of their being in bed together, because of GSE's and special interest and Wall Street, the government creates bail outs and stimulus packages that do what? Bail out the government - NOT the people. Is that a Republic? Is that representing the interests of the people? Does that even INVOLVE the people, or were the people just pawns in this big, game? It's GSE's... bailing out GSE's, and in the process, gaining MORE control of those companies, such as AIG (as they already had Amtrak), and suddenly, the definition of an Empire as a conglomerate, run as a single business, begins to be made even MORE clear.

Roosevelt's "New Deal," and all of the sham government controls over things like "social security, housing and civil works," would crash if the government crashes. They are inflated as it is now, and as economists have warned, will become hyperinflated. The government won't back them. That's why, when you heard that AIG had to be saved to protect companies and GM had to be saved to protect jobs - it did NOTHING. the same jobs were all still lost. The same bonuses were all still given. The bailouts and the stimulus have nothing to do with protecting the people - only the GSE's - the government - and its special interests. If jobs are saved along the way, then great - but that's only a "secondary," to the main goal of government covering their own actions. See, if AIG failed, the banks would need to collect on the debts. Who do they go to? The same GSE's that purchased the overinflated mortgages in the first place ... Uncle Same (through Freddie Mae and Mac). But, Uncle Sam can't back the bank's demands without devaluing the gold. If the dollar's worth 10 pieces of gold instead of 1 - think about what that would mean to the rest of the world and their wanting to collect... we'd be in a world of hurt.

This has been seen in history where an Empire overspends. Julius Caesar was spending left and right, building his armies, catering to the poor (through entertainment, not actually "solving," their problems...) to make them "believe" he was cool, then turning on them. His power was becoming absolute and he was ruining the country. He had to be stopped. Hitler originally invested in a lot of programs that supported a lot of jobs, until he began internalizing his power to become an Emperor. He began spending on government only projects - increasing his military's strength, specialized weapons projects, funding internal government sources to be his personal regime to maintain absolute authority, and this got him in trouble with his fellow leaders and the people. Jobs declined, but the government got wealthier. He had to be stopped. The British Empire had stretched its arms out to the world and spent a lot of money to do it. In fact, in all its spending, it sold itself short. It soon began to lose hold of its colonies. In America, where the King of England was lavishing his own with monies, it created dissention and chaos, even with their neighbors, France. The point is - everywhere overspending has been an issue, the value of the economy and currency declined, nothing good came of it. This includes the Great Depression and America. The government helped march us there, and rather than march back out, they somehow convinced us to let them keep going.

Are we a Democracy? That's a question you have to answer for yourself. Are we free? I certainly hope you don't think that getting to print a few words on the internet is freedom- because I can assure you - even though another is typing these words for me, both they and I do so in fear of retribution from our government. Have you control in voting on how YOUR tax dollars are spent? A republic would. Do you have control in what laws are passed? A republic would. Do you have control of who's in the primaries for you to vote on in an election, or who gets to be president without the electoral college's special interference OR who the next supreme court justice would be? A democracy... would. This isn't even a representative democracy. People were angry about the AIG spending, but would the government take the hit for what they did and represent the people? Nope. They said, "Bad AIG, no more really, really big, personal bonuses for you - only little ones." Is that... representing what you wanted?

Your stimulus monies have gone mostly to law enforcement for the streets and justice for the courts and special interest for the government, while the jails and schools suffer. Is that what you voted on? I mean, after all, you know that when there's no money left, you'll have to join in on the rioting to get bread to feed your family, so it's good there's more law enforcement to stop you, right? Hmm....

Are you even getting a say so in the legalization of marijuana? HAHAHAHAHA - I don't care to comment on what I think about it - but we're talking about a very OLD and very SENSITIVE issue - and you get NO voice. Especially, if you're NOT for it, and it gets passed - did your 'elected official,' do what you elected them to do (or vice versa)?

A republic, this is not. Not anymore.

A capitalist country, this is not, not under the conglomeration of private business to government say so and control.

A democracy, this is not. Not with the voice of the people fading into the wind.

So, what are you left with? Do the math people. Not too many choices out there. There's socialism, and marxist socialism. There's communism, monarchy's and dictatorships. There's aristocracies (which America has been for a long time now) and fascism (which also defines America's political structure perfectly).

Sure - there are a few other choices. But, once you've passed by a republic and a democracy, and capitalism has declined - so has freedom. So, whatever your equation ends up with - freedom is not going to be a part of it anymore.

The New Deal "2" - Death of an economy

Okay, if you want more background on this, please read my last post: Economic Forecast Follow-up. Be forewarned, what I'm about to give you is not a "prediction," an "estimation," a "best-guess," or a "conspiracy." I can promise you, it is not paranoia or any personal agenda that prompts me to write this. The foundation of what I'm about to present to you is the title of this entire blog: When Governments Lie - the people suffer. And, it's true. When our elected officials no longer represent us, act on our behalf or care whether or not their actions are hurting the people, then the control spire which was there to make sure that our "Government," in the land of the free and home of the brave, is no longer functioning. The government is no longer of the people, by the people ....

or for the people.

The Democratic Party - the party in control of the White House, in control of the Presidency and in control of the Economy, under the leadership of President Obama, is taking a dangerous position that is counter-productive to our economy and our stability. I usually hate taking sides folks, but this time around, the actions from the Government and the media being lead by them cannot be attributed to any other source. I'm not saying the Republicans are the only right ones - because our party has not done its job in cleaning house when this is the PERFECT time to do so (because we don't have influence in Washington, we might as well spend this time getting our party straight). But, the Left is in control, and it is under the direct leadership of the Left, no bleed-through from any previous administration, which is misleading the people. How so?

Obama has been encouraging investments in the Stock Market, and under this article, perhaps you will take as much delight as I did in the first sentence: "It's official. Obama thinks you're an idiot." I'll let you read that article to fully understand all the little quirks of Obama's "invest in the stock market to prove to America we're doing okay" plan. But, I'd like to draw your attention to another point of the stock market known as GSE's (government sponsored enterprises). These are not new, and have been around since the early 1900's. However,  GSE's started out as a different purpose than what they are today. You should note the following: The government possesses warrants with 79.9% ownership in these companies that would allow them to walk in and take full control at any time. With more recent companies like Freddie Mac and the banking/mortgage institutions, the government has several TRILLION $$'s in assets on record. What are those assets? Our HOMES.  The GSE's include ownership of companies - and stocks in the capital market - including WALL STREET (ie. their ownership of ... oil stocks.... :).. cool, huh?). This was "supposedly" to help raise long-term funds. But, let me simplify this:

If you invest in Wall Street - and help raise that number - there's a good chance that you're going to be investing in the government (ie. AMTRACK - who -- don't forget - was given $18 million in stimulus funds, in Delaware, for NINE box cars to be renovated, and yet, it is OWNED and controlled by the government, NOT free enterprise...). Of course, if the government wants to encourage your spending, they can simply do something as simple as... oh wait... give stimulus monies to the GSE's that are reflected in the stocks and it makes the stock market go up! So.. wait a second... let's pull all this together...

Could it possibly be, that the "increases," in the stock market (which some of you may have been watching what I have), seem to occur in sync with the issue of stimulus monies (and/or spending of it)? Could it possibly be that consumer confidence in Wall street IS down, and Obama, is just trying to do what he said he would BEFORE the election, and back in February? That is, to convince the American People to invest more money into the stock market? So - what does this mean? Would the government really do this? Would they issue out "stimulus" monies that mostly protect only the government and its investments and create a "false" sense of security in the stock market to encourage you to invest knowing that you're really just helping fund the government more?

The answer you're looking for is YES. This is EXACTLY what they're doing. If the stock market fails, multitudes of the government fail - because they get some of their monies through the stock market. AIG and others failing - was NOT about the American people, it was about the GOVERNMENT. See, no one's been telling you this. They've all said (even me), let them fail - if they're private enterprise, then let capitalism work. And, while that's true, the government's been operating quietly in the background not telling you that it's their own backsides they're trying to cover!! This is a complex issue folks, and I wish I had the space to detail this ALL for you (if I had a radio talk show - I could do it - but I know that reading LONG blogs is difficult).

The point is this - they're lying about the stock market and the economy. They want people to invest, or else it's the government that could collapse, and all the bogus, money-scams they've been running with it! The lie will cause you to give up your hard earned money into stocks that they own 79.9% of - and can reclaim in FULL, during times of an "economic crisis," (hmm....), and you will lose everything. This is NOT the great depression we're heading towards. Oh no, that wouldn't be as bad as what we're heading toward. Back then, when stocks dropped, it took wheelbarrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread. But, you won't have wheelbarrows full, or loaves to buy, because the government's going to reclaim its ownership of your stocks, and your money, and it will shut down the borrowing capacity to farmers and agriculture who were growing the wheat that can no longer afford to do so. THAT is the real danger. THAT is the big collapse we are heading toward. I'm not an "economist," and I don't know all the "ins and outs," of financial trade. But, I do know this:

U.S. currency - whether paper or coin, is an I.O.U. It is an object whose value is based solely upon the ability of the signer of that I.O.U. to reimburse you for it. I buy bread from you - I don't give you anything of value, because I have nothing. I give you an I.O.U., and the point and purpose of the Federal Reserve System, the F.D.I.C. and others, who are ALL government run - NOT privately (I say this, because you might remember that Obama just broke the law and fired the inspector general - one of the "peoples'", controls over the government... so yes, be afraid, be very afraid), is so that you can take your I.O.U. note to the bank and get reimbursed. During the great depression, why then did it take a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread, did the gold that backs those I.O.U.'s disappear or its international value drop to zero? No -

People lost jobs, couldn't spend, and their BORROWING capacity was reduced to nil and repossessions occurred galore! The stock market crashed because banks were forcing collection on debt (remember, they're the ones backed by the gold - but for some reason, this didn't seem to matter?? oh yeah - PBS that aired that - sort of left that out... guess who owns PBS... yep - Uncle Sam). If you read Ohio's take on the cause, it's because stocks were sold for more than what they were worth (hmm.. didn't Uncle Sam's I.O.U. notes help dictate all of that?). What's the ultimate conclusion of all this: that when the government was causing the U.S. Dollar to no longer have the value it did (and yes - regardless of what you'll read in some places, the banks set that dollar standard, and they were taken over LONG ago by the government, and Uncle Sam is the one who pulled his backing of the currency), and people realized that selling an item for $1 no longer meant $1, but $0.20 cents. Now bread was worth a wheelbarrow full of money. The gold's still there, but the value of the dollar dropped because those governing it wouldn't back it up at the same level anymore. And Hoover, the President in charge in 1929, said: We don't believe in helping the individual people. Sorta' sounds like... the whole thing was the fault of a selfish/capitalist government.. but maybe I'm just guessing here...

The lie - and how it hurts us? Back to my blog on the $18 million that saved 9 box cars for renovation... think about this... a new box car is worth: $75,000 max, and that's with a lot of the amenities. Just like buying a loaf of bread for $100 in 1929, we're buying a $75,000 box car with $2 million dollars. See the correlation? Understand how the lie is beginning to undermine this economy? No - it's not greed that will be spawned (oohh.. my box car's worth $2 mil), because the government OWNS Amtrak. It's a failure for the stock market, because the stocks the government owns are getting undermined, and the issuance of tens of trillions of dollars that are bottoming out our economy. Who cares if it's going to take 50 years just to pay back what the government spends in 2009 alone? That's ASSUMING the dollar's value goes back up! We need to be concerned about abuses with the stimulus money, falsely reporting to people that they should be investing in the stock market, "or companies will fail," and begin understanding that the lie will cause our stock investments to bottom out and crash our economy - again! Buying stocks in Amtrak... well... you just bought $18 million dollars in box cars, that MAY be worth.. AT BEST... $900,000. Remember the 1929 crash? Stocks being sold for more than what they were worth? The government saying - hey - we're not gonna' back your stock, we can't get more than $900,000 for those box cars in international trade and we MOST CERTAINLY, can't devalue our gold! The banks saying, um - you need to give us money now, because Uncle Sam's pulling his value out of the dollar?

If you can see the writing on the wall.. or even if you can't.. you need to read the Top 10 New Deal arrangements made by Franklin Roosevelt. What you're going to see is that we did NOT fix the problem. We didn't even band-aid it. The government reclaimed control of those GSE's I mentioned in the last article - and the results are what you see today. What was broken, got worse. In 1929, they LET the people and the businesses fail because there was NO way to bail them out. What the New Deal REALLY did - was to make sure that Uncle Sam doesn't take as much of a hit if it happens again (yes, I know, there were a couple of good things in it, too - but not enough).

The next, "New Deal," is upon us - and it will HAVE to be even MORE restrictive than last time and require an even GREATER failure for the people than last time. Are you ready? I'm not...

Economic Forecast Follow-up

Folks, a short while ago I posted a blog on: How not to read an economic forecast. Without having "all" the details or being an "insider," but being someone who follows the NEWS and pays close attention to what the media and government is feeding us, I boldly stated that the economic forecasters were either lying to us, or were just downright wrong in telling us retail was up because there were higher, 1st quarter earnings. For those who read it, you may remember that I stated that companies like Toyota, would definately report higher, 1st quarter earnings without GM dealerships to compete with, and stores like Walmart would report higher 1st quarter earnings with the littler, mom and pop stores having been driven out of business.

The brief report at Newsalert stated that on June 4th, Walmart was no longer going to report its monthly earnings because it "knew" that it was causing the economic forecasters to have an incorrect view of consumer spending behavior (and good for Walmart - maybe letting China own it was the best thing that could happen for that store!). What happened? The economic forecasters showed a dramatically sharp "drop" in retail spending from consumers (I believe the number was 24%+/-) from their previous forecast, when Walmart's individual stores were included. TWENTY FOUR percent is a HUGE number. Walmart accounts for nearly 15% of the U.S. retail economy with over 4000 stores! But, let's also consider that Best Buy has over 1,000 stores, and Home Depot has nearly 2,000 stores! The list goes on - and please check these numbers for yourself as I don't have an "economic" analyst to confirm them for me, but I know they're pretty close. What does that mean? It means - I was right. What I was telling you about the economic forecasters painting a false picture was dead on the money. People, please understand, I'm NOT boasting! In fact, it would be better if I WAS wrong. I would be much happier, because that would mean things WERE getting better - but they're NOT!

It was reported that Oregon's $175 million dollars in stimulus monies saved approximately 3,000 jobs. Set aside more recent reports that the so-called, "saved jobs," reports from the stimulus fundings are grotesquely over-exaggerated, because those 3,000 jobs equate to salaries of more than $58,300 PER PERSON!! The average income in Oregon in 2007 was $38,000+/-. It has NOT changed much in two years (especially with layoffs and a bad economy). Currently, the unemployment rate state-wide is 12.5%, or about 250,000 people!! What does all that mean? It means that the average person in Oregon, you know, the common workers, the little people like me (and maybe even you), are not seeing their jobs saved. The people who make this economy run - working in retail, fast food, gas, factories, production lines, and the "pleasures" of life that the wealthy community's money is supposed to give them access to - are not being helped by the stimulus package. What it also means, is that in order to save everyone's jobs, it would take $14 BILLION dollars. Unfortunately, the jobs that were "saved" were all government funded - ie. direct employment through the government or contracted labor to privately owned companies. So, the stimulus package, in the end, even if we received that $14 billion dollars, couldn't actually save everyone (oh yeah - this was the most RECENT stimulus package - you don't wanna know what we did with the rest.. hee heee hee).

Folks, I was right on with my concerns about economic forecasters by a government bought media (for those of you who read the TownHall magazine and know about the government's control over the media that I've been crying out loud about for a LONG time), and you can trust me when I tell you that this broadcasting of the "jobs" being saved by the stimulus money is B.S.!! And, like it or not, I can point the finger directly at the left - because they're in charge right now - so they get to bear this shame, not any "past" administration. Under President Obama, the media is providing FALSE numbers that are meant to stimulate "hope," and try desperately to save the stock market by encouraging MORE spending. The Democrats are committing one of the MOST DANGEROUS acts in this country's history - and I'll tell you how in the next post; but in the meantime, now you know just how bogus ALL of this "economic" forecasting and these numbers really are. You've been given sufficient knowledge know with which to head out into the world.

What will you do next?

Whitewashing the Country-part 1

[note - this is a 'rough' draft 'excerpt' I've worked on, addressing the many ways that explain the downfall of our Great Nation...)

Whitewashing - to cover up or gloss over -

For this entry I submit to you: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain). I submit to you also, that there was an underlying reasoning behind Mr. Clemens producing literature under an alias: he was making a political statement the likes of which was unheard of during his time. You see, for me, Tom Sawyer whitewashing the alley fence is more than just imagery of kids playing tom foolery pranks on one another, but a reflection of the Government and its people. So - let me set the scene for you (characters adjusted to today's political climate):

  • The fence is America: "...compared the insignificant whitewashed streak with the far-reaching continent of unwhitewashed fence.."
  • Tom Sawyer is The new, up and coming Government: The one sent to "cover up," the fence, leaving Tom feeling sad: "...He surveyed the fence, and all gladness left him and a deep melancholy settled down upon his spirit...."
  • Old Missis is the enforcer: "...She say she spec’ Mars Tom gwine to ax me to whitewash, an’ so she tole me go ‘long an’ ‘tend to my own business...."
  • Jim is the poorer working class/Ben the wealthier: "...Jim never got back with a bucket of water under an hour – and even then somebody generally had to go after him.."
  • Aunt Polly is the courts/regulating agencies: "...retiring from the field with a slipper in her hand and triumph in her eye..."

First - remember that Tom Sawyer was produced in 1876, during a time when Hayes was elected President through a very "sketchy" resolution, the National Convention had both parties absolutely divided and slinging mud at one another, slavery was disenfranchised, but black Americans were not yet given freedom and America, recovering from Civil War, was still in a state of turmoil. The problems that existed between parties and regions of peoples were not resolved, but instead, were being "glossed" over. Mark Twain saw the beginning of something disastrous occurring (where I also believe that Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn both represent a portion of the two, separate parties as well). So - with that said (knowing that Clemens did not get to know the disastrous, financially corrupted government of today) - let's see how Tom Sawyer has brought us forward to today's governmental body:

America is in trouble. We can either FIX the problems, or just whitewash over it - which is what we've done. For example, taxes and penalties are called: fees. High unemployment is called change. And, corrupt officials are called our 'best' hope. So, here comes Tom Sawyer ('ol Uncle Sam), lookin' at that Looooonnnngggg fence, realizing just how big of a job this is for just one person (or the handful of governmental agents), and finds himself overwhelmed. Then along comes Jim (the people). The people are the ones who aren't 'eager' to have to rush to bring up the water from the well - it'll get there. They don't care about 'corporate' deadlines or policies - they're just doin' what they're told, because 'ol misses said so. (We all do what we're told we have to do: work - pay taxes. Work - pay taxes). And, Jim's afraid of 'ol misses, cause if'n he don't do what he was tolds to do, 'ol misses is gonna whoop him up something fierce! Hey - wear your seatbelt, cross in cross-walks, don't slander authority!!

But Tom (uncle sam), doesn't like doing the work. And, when they ask for Jim's help he says: No - it's your job - and even if I'd wanted to do your job for you - I'd be in trouble for not doing my own work. But Tom's crafty, you see.... You want freedom? You want protection? You want money to purchase - and Jim says: YES! (to seeing a bandaged toe and letting Tom go down to the river for him). What happens? Well, Aunt Polly, the Courts and regulating agencies comes along and whaps the people out of the way to scold Uncle Sam and get him back to work! He has to "cover up," the underlying problems of America. Then comes along young Ben, and unlike Jim, Ben was eager for new "stuff" and new "things." So, after a bit, Tom hornswaggles the young lad into doing the worked, convinced that it's something he WANTS to do - but - in exchange for his apple. And, this went on and on until Tom went from poor - to the rich kid on the block.

Now - let's play this out in more 'modern,' terms. Sure - there's money - if you consider "IOU's," (which is what American paper/coin currency is worth - an IOU), wealth. But, you see - to have the "privilege," to work - NOT getting the things we have to do in our own homes and lives done, we gotta pay. An apple here, a kite there.... TAXES. Tom made something that was INVALUABLE (paper money), valuable, by learning that the value of an object or task is based upon the difficulty in attaining that object or completing that task. Soon - corporate greed - not in private enterprise, but through government and taxes, creates corrupted officials. It's not just the money - but the authority the government craves. And, if we want things like: FOOD, WATER, AIR, POWER, SHELTER - the BASIC necessities of life - we have to be willing to give up. But, what happens when we give up our apple?

We're hungry. Whitewashing the fence bought me this fake money that has no reward in it and I'm still hungry. So - in turn, the boys play the same game that Tom did (the start of capitalist America), taking from one another. But, Tom's no fool - he's in on EVERY piece of action by eventually saying: hey - I'll let you whitewash this fence for a fee - but in turn - you gotta pay me another fee to let someone else whitewash YOUR fence, and let me charge THEM a fee. And, like blind sheep who are told by the wolf that the grass is greener on the other side - we did it. We kept doing it. Until, eventually, we have doctors and lawyers who charge $200 per hour and up. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS PER HOUR!?!? That makes NO sense!! But, you see - their worth is based on the 'difficulty,' to attain that position. And, unlike the 'older' days, now - only those who have more to give are permitted this privilege. But, because they gave more, they in turn need to charge more. And this DEADLY cycle continues.

Where's ol misses? Well, the enforcers still require the people to follow the rules and need authority. But, Uncle Sam (Tom), has gained control of the authority. So, they too, must give up to Uncle Sam in turn for a piece of that authority - and the birth of law enforcement and the end of freedom falls like a deadly, silent shadow, blanketing the whole of this country. Uncle Sam's still getting his fence whitewashed - still covering up the REAL problems in America - but he's using 'ol misses (aka the cops, fbi, et. al.) to do it for him he has gotten so lazy.

Whitewashing the Country - Part 2

(continued from: Whitewashing the Country - part 2)

So now, not only must you pay Uncle Sam to continue in this unsuccessful, dreaded fashion and not only has it dominated our lives and lead to corruption - we're also paying Uncle Sam's henchmen to be OUR henchmen!!??

"There are wealthy gentlemen in England who drive four-horse passenger-coaches twenty or thirty miles on a daily line, in the summer, because the privilege costs them considerable money; but if they were offered wages for the service, that would turn it into work and then they would resign."

Need more proof of this? How about this: The government lists driving as: a privilege. The government defines working as: a privilege. The government defines voting as: a privilege...

And the government defines freedom as: A privilege. Don't believe it? Government politics, executive information and the like: knowledge of these things is a privilege, not a right, that is why we are not permitted to know these things. In this article, rights vs. privileges are examined and it is quoted in law that: "The servant cannot complain, as he takes the employment on the terms which are offered him."

You can read here how it was the purpose of the Republican party to fight for freedom and abolish slavery. And, today we are seeing just how the left is treating freedom - you can have the blue or green shoes - but at least you get shoes. That's freedom? No. That's the abuse of freedom underneath the same type of tyranny that is used by Kings and monopolies. It's not that I'm saying: Hey, you want protection from the bad guys, you shouldn't have to pay for it.... but, you shouldn't. The bad guys are the ones taking away your freedom in that case, and even if we mount arms against it, we're still losing our freedom under extreme work methods and taxation and what not.

If you don't vote, are you exempt from the rules? Nope - in fact, you're blamed for not voting for a better party. But, if you're in trouble with the law, you're ability to vote is taken away from you. So, is voting a "right?" Rights are that which cannot be interfered with by the Government - they are endowed by God and the human intellect. The term: the right to vote, is then used as a "whitewashing," of the truth, to be used a punishment against you when determined by the government to do so and FORCE you into obedience with their laws. Is that a right? Is that EVEN a privilege? No - in that case - it's neither. In that case, the whitewashing of the fence, that you paid to wash, which isn't even your fence, will lead you and those around you further down the spiral.

Now - some may argue about the driving thing: it's a privilege, because one has to be educated and pass the tests! Really? You mean, the tests that "certify," a person to drive, for a COST to Uncle Sam (isn't that back to whitewashing the fence...?), to sit behind a dangerous, 2000 pound chunk of steel in heavy-duty traffic, miserable (remember... it was a looonnngggg fence!)? While I won't get into my opinions on the driving matter, I simply present these issues to you in the form of Tom Sawyer's Whitewashing to show you that:

The government is not 'fixing,' the problem (the cars are not set to 55 mph only and constructed in a fashion to prevent accidents), they are simply glossing it over (monetizing the debt?). And, to make matters worse - when the parties that support socialism force you to wash the fence - then there is no freedom, liberty or rights involved at all. When someone's in need, (welfare), does the government offer: Hey - let's give back some of these riches we have? Can the person simply go out and play the same game (although there are no fences left to paint and they can't afford the paint?)? Or, does the government come forward to you, the painters who have already sacrificed and say: hey - that person's in need - there's no room for them on the fence to paint with us, so, until that happens, I need you to give up more of your stuff to them [so they can then, later on, pay the government for the privilege to wash the fence]. This is charity/welfare and the rest all rolled into one.

What's happening folks? How long before the other boys in town realize what Tom's done and come a 'knockin' at the door to tear it down? How much longer before someone calls on those "IOU's?" How far can Tom Sawyer go? Well - like the book said - he would've gone all day and bankrupted EVERY boy in town, except he just ran out of fence!!

How far will Uncle Sam go? Probably until the boys let him know enough's - enough - but by then, I fear it may be too late.

How not to read an economic forecast, racism and more...

It is customary for our News media to report things that are, well, just not "entirely" accurate (the nicest way I can possibly say that). Many people don't know that the word: NEWS, came from: North, East, West, and South. News was originally intended to bring the facts of events that happened from around the area, via the voice of the people, to the various towns. Obviously, long before television, radio and newspapers. However, as times change, governments grow corrupt and take over what the news can and cannot report, and provide ever-increasing, false information to the news media to illicit specific reactions from the people - we [the listeners] - are no longer given the "facts," but are subject to the infamous, low standards of yellow journalism. Let's examine some headlines from this morning (and I'll relate what I can back to my previous posts where applicable to help validate that I am trying desperately hard to present all issues in an unbiased light):

"In Oregon, and on ABC News radio, it was reported that jobless rates are declining. There was a significant decline in the number of reported first time unemployment seekers. Likewise, the economy is showing signs of improving as retail businesses are showing higher than expected first quarter earnings." -

Now - for those of you that let these so-called, 'headlines,' skip by you with little to no care as to their contents, let me first say: that is a HUGE mistake. You let this information in one ear - it does not really come out the other, I'm afraid. The truth is, it sits in your brain, it gets processed, and whether or not it's on the back-burner of your daily thoughts, it exists and has affected you. The reason: in difficult economic times, in fact of hard-driven 'fears,' the idea of relief (especially if you're currently employed and would believe that lower reports of first time filers is somehow significant for you), is of great impact to you, even if only unconsciously. But, let's re-examine the situation: tens of thousands of small businesses have closed in the past year due to the economy consistently declining. That means, those people who worked there, are already laid off. Multitudes of corporations (again, in the tens of thousands), have condensed their operations, laying of millions of workers. There are only 185 million, working adults in America as of the last Census Bureau Report I read (which I believe was 2007). That number has dropped by a very large, significant portion.

What does that mean? Well, let's look at the second half of ABC's economic forecast: "The economy is looking up because retail businesses are reporting a higher-than usual, first quarter profit."

Oh really? You mean that, for example, Walmart (now Chinese owned), with its thousands of stores, no longer has to compete with more than 100 THOUSAND businesses in the industry of retail clothing alone (and as it's a multi-product store/mega-store, this carries over into every other facet of their operations), has condensed its operations and cut a huge portion of expenses from its usual overhead, and is reporting a "higher than expected/normal," first quarter earnings? Well, NO DUHH!!! Bad economy or no - that's a GIVEN. Walmart has lower prices, and their reports don't count for just one store, they count for THOUSANDS of stores - so naturally, they reflect a higher profit margin. Does that mean the economy's doing better? NO! Maybe, IF - and I STRESS: IF - the economy's doing better, it isn't because megastores are reporting high earnings. It isn't because car dealerships are reporting higher car sales - when the reason for Toyota having higher car sales is because GM cut out THOUSANDS of its dealers!! And, most certainly, the number of reported, first time unemployment seekers has NOT declined because less businesses are going out of business or losing - it's because THEY'RE GONE!!

C'mon, people! I like good news far more than bad, just as much as anyone else (okay, well, a LOT more than most people since it seems that today's "sheeple," look for bad news). But, I also DON'T like being mislead. And,  I cannot and will not believe that the "economic," forecasters, the so-called, 'experts,' don't know this information. I believe the unemployment department isn't reporting information as accurately as they "should." In fact, as the last bout of unemployment offerings came to an end about two months ago, in Oregon, it was suddenly reported that there were less people claiming unemployment and that was a good sign. WHAT? NO IT IS NOT! There were less people, because those who've been unemployed for a year or longer are now without ANY source of income, are not reporting unemployment because it's run out, and are STILL unemployed, and now in a financially desperate situation!!

Look, I'm not saying to be gloom, doom and despair! But I'm also saying - DON'T lie! Lying will not help anyone. Icing the cake, if the cake is made of poo, will NOT make the cake any better - it's STILL poo!! DUHH!? And, what about this shooting at the Holocaust Memorial Museum? A shooting - of a 'black,' security guard, by a white supremicist (supposedly), took place during a 'shoot-out,' which this terrible, hate-monger started. Seems pretty, well - 'black and white,' - doesn't it? Hmm... maybe not so for those of us that recognized the underlying concern: it was the holocaust museum. For those of you who have never been to one (and there are SEVERAL - for some reason - around the country), I can assure you, it is a reminder about how bad "white" Americans are. Am I being racist? No, in fact, I'm exactly the opposite, since it's the museum that is racist. If it was purely about the holocaust victims in WWII, then that would be pretty straight forward and without question. Why should it raise a red flag? Because: THE HOLOCAUST VICTIMS WERE WHITE JEWS. How is it, that a "white supremicist," has a problem with, "white jews?"

So, once you read the story (from ABC as linked above), you find out that there are several, including a "man," that stated that the shooter, Von Brunn (of course, German...) was a "pressure cooker," waiting to explode, and had, "underlying anger issues," and another clarified that Von Brunn was just, "crazy." Yes, for those of you asking the right questions, these were NOT experts, NOT his friends and NOT even people acquainted with Von Brunn in any other way than a rare, maybe once-per-year, quick, "hello." Let me add something else for you: Von Brunn was 88 YEARS OLD - and apparently, they claim that the election of a "black" president spawned his anger. Really? You mean, that Von Brunn, who is old enough to actually have lived THROUGH the holocaust, who had his social security cut, is unable to survive, walked into a holocaust museum, where MILLIONS of dollars supporting the propogation of hatred of Germans and White Americans is blasted (and if you've been in there - and your brain works - you know - that it's not just a tribute to those who suffered - which even I would support - but a segregasit, left-wing sponsored, liberal place to hate white people), upset because he could no longer survive, was losing his home and everything he'd worked for since the newly elected President put STIMULUS money from OUR taxes into holocaust museums while the elderly suffer, and brought a gun?

Yes. Did he plan on killing people? Nope. In fact, had it been one of the "white" guards that was shot - ABC might not have even let this story take a lead page (sorry - but racism is rampant in today's media, too). Von Brunn committed the well-known act of: Death by Cop (or in this case, security guard). Think about it - 88 years old - and a security guard, if Von Brunn was raising cain, could not have detained him? Remember what the article says - the other "guards" - (as in more than one), returned fire. It was Von Brunn vs. the museum's security guards. One, little old man alone - upset that our government is causing us to fall into misery - was ready to die. But, now, the black security guard is a hero and Von Brunn's going to go down in history as just a "crazy" old man. ABC reported that onne person who didn't even KNOW Von Brunn at all, knew there was reason to be concerned when Von Brunn gave away his computer and website, because people who give away precious things are usually at the end of their rope.

Really? I mean, a computer? Sorry, didn't know that was, 'precious/' And, he gave his website, which was obviously driven by racism, to someone who took it down. He didn't care to keep up the fight (that he thought was right) anymore. That's not "precious," it's not an heirloom, and it's most certainly NOT an indicator that Von Brunn was ready to die. Everything else in the article - that is - the FACTS about what Von Brunn was losing under this new administration - ARE reasons to have believed he was ready to die. And, of course, it was reported that white, hate groups are on the rise, and that it's a tragedy when white people are pushed because they'll snap. You mean, like in the Watts Riots? Or, maybe the South Central riots? Or, perhaps the Taliban? Oh wait - NONE of those folks are white - so isn't it more like - when ANYONE is pushed, they snap? And, what was Von Brunn doing? Yeah - he was saying on his website that he felt the time for talk was over, it was time to take action. Didn't we have an issue with an oriental student (born in America - identifying him by race for clarity), posted on web sites and to news stations for months his intentions to shoot college students, and when people ignored him, he did? Is that to say they should have raided Von Brunn? Of course not - the FBI raid people because they download music and upset Corporate America, not because they care about a few human lives...

Of course, Von Brunn was misguided. What he thought was a Federally managed conspiracy of Jews controlling our monetary system and government for the purpose of destroying white people, actually has much stronger ties to the Illuminati.... Okay - NON debatable points aside - the money is controlled by the government. The current budget threatens the very fabric of our economy. As I had posted yesterday for me, a Supreme Court Justice with a well-known prejudice in favor of Hispanics is using the race-card to gain support for her appointment and the President of this Country used it for his election. Is there a problem? Yes. Misguided as Von Brunn may have been, skewed by years of hatred (which obviously leads to the dark side....), at least saw the forest, just not the trees through the forest. Heck, Von Brunn wanted to place the Federal Reserve Board under legal, NON VIOLENT (hmm... sort of.. contradictory.. isn't it?), arrest for treason against our people. He claims to have been punished for the posts he made (sounds familiar.. where have I heard that before.. oh yeah - every radio show host crying out against the Fairness Doctrine for being attacked against freedom of speech and even myself currently being a victim of the same attack),

Finally, the sadness of all of this. The security guard (and it doesn't MATTER what the color of his skin is), was a father and family man. Good, bad or indifferent, a child will suffer from this. The people are trying to rise to anarchy, they are trying to speak out against the abuses of our economy and social lives by the Government. But, they are arrested, thrown in jail and left with fear tactics as the force against them. They are frightened - and when a frightened person - no matter their beliefs, is cornered - there will be consequences. I feel for Mr. Von Brunn, who wanted to leave this world, and if he doesn't, will pay a very serious price for this by the government. I feel for the guard, who paid a price already for his choice to be in a position that leads by fear. And, I feel for the people who did nothing when they heard this story.

Dear IRS, I am notifying you that I demand a refund...

Dear IRS and State Financial Folks,

I am writing you to hereby, formally let you know that I am demanding a refund, in full, of the taxes I have paid since... ever. I would also like to inform you that I am no longer going to pay taxes .... ever. My justification for this is sufficiently supported under the United States Constitution, the Declarations of State and Federal Governmental law and the dictates of my rights as an American. Of course, I will no longer be requiring your services, or the few services that have been continuously forced upon me. Instead, I will be directly paying the agencies whose services I do require for their continued support. As for the monies that I am supposedly 'owed' via social security and other such services, I am demanding that you do not use this as your basis for your calculations, but, in fact, that you provide a refund based in full, upon what I have physically paid in. The monies I have paid in are more than 50% gone based on their misappropriations, and so, you will have to return everything to me. Finally, please be informed that I believe your office is rude, crude and a social injustice to the American people. I would just as soon spit on you as see you, and I say that in whole, as a Christian, knowing that God pretty much feels the same way.

So, first off, why I am demanding a refund of everything I have EVER paid in to taxes.

1. You do not represent my interests in war or in the efforts of our troops and you have betrayed my Democratic right to vote on such issues by allowing the Government to send troops to war whenever they want. Besides, the majority of monies I have paid for our troops has not gone to them, but more than 80% of it has gone to 'specialized,' over-priced, black-box projects that resulted in technology that is now boxed up in a warehouse and useless. I agreed to pay for the troops to protect this country, not scientists to build toys.

2. This stimulus package has already multiplied the gross, national debt by an amount so far beyond reason, that it alone, accounts for all the money that I have paid in. And, instead of being used to support the 'people,' where I would have preferred, Congress and the President have acted in direct opposition to the people and have fed the money to financial institutions and insurance companies that do not provide me any services, do not affect my life and quite honestly, it was bad enough that Congress was getting fat and rich off of me, but to know that non-governmental agencies are getting fat and rich off of me is insulting and intolerable.

3. The U.S. Government forgave the rest of the world their debts, running up our own bills, and then used my money to pay off our debts to other countries. Debts, which I might add, have come at an even greater cost to our economy and hurt my job and cost me a healthy paycheck. This includes outsourcing jobs and education which has increased the price of tuition in college, and prevented me from having the right to pursue a positively supporting lifestyle, for the whole of America.

4. A good portion of my money has gone to fund you. While that, in and of itself, is enough said, given your flippant attitudes, your rudeness, your exempt-ness from law, the fact is, I do not enjoy working, to pay you as my employee, so that you can mistreat me, step on me, hurt my friends and loved ones and quite honestly, your services are no longer required, so as your employer: you're fired. Additionally, my money has been used for agencies like CPS that continue to go unmonitored, hurt innocent children and if you dare have the audacity to take this to a court of law, I am going to enjoy, most thoroughly, watching you stand before the World, on camera, and justify why you should be permitted to take my money to hurt innocent children. Choke on that.

5. A good portion of my money is consistently being used to establish fear-mongering and abuse me through increased law enforcement, prosecutions, court rooms and jails that I did NOT approve of. These institutions are not keeping me safe. They are interfering in my life, and quite honestly, they owe me a LOT more than they can afford in all the heartache and fear they've caused throughout the years. When these people make quadruple the amount I do, and yet harass me and treat me like garbage, well - it's like having to pay for YOU. I DO NOT support it.

Just FYI, what I AM going to do with my money is this:

  •    I will join with a group of others in determining what the Fire department's budget is - and contribute.
  •    If the police are willing to get back down to doing what it is they're supposed to, I'll contribute.
  •    I WILL be giving my money directly to the schools, so you don't suck out over 50% for your overhead so they can actually function.
  •    I will be investing my money into areas where I believe it can grow, not the banks, not the insurance companies and sure as heck not the rest of the world, except where trade is openly and freely supported with countries who don't want to see us dead and that we are treating respectfully.
  •    I will be giving my money to certain types of assistance programs such as programs that help the disabled, where these programs are not run by the GOVERNMENT and give people free money because they're "depressed," but give money to those who are ACTUALLY disabled and ACTUALLY in need and working to get a better life. (of course, I’ll prioritize on those being ripped off by the pharmaceuticals…)
  •    I will give my money to the politicians that consider MY vote as important. The politicians who actually CARE what the PEOPLE have to say and represent us will continue to have my support - in fair proportion to the work they do.
  •    I will give my money to those government agencies that compete for my business and can show me how they are properly utilizing the funds to support me, whether it's right now, in the future or at an unpredictable time when I might need them. I will not pay $5000 for toilet seats in government facilities any longer. Believe me, it will be fun to watch them have to answer for all they do. Of course, this last one will include everything ranging from libraries to school programs, and other reasonable services that are designed to help the whole of humanity, not some special interest groups.
  •    I will give my money to prosecutors who bring cases with factual evidence and don't risk sending innocent people to prison.
  •    I will give my money to courthouses that place Constitutional Rights before personal agendas.

And the rest, I'll figure out for myself (i.e. properly investing my social security retirement monies so I actually HAVE some when it comes my time to retire). Because, in truth, you have done nothing but squander, waste and abuse the funds I have entrusted to you. And, while you may only be the 'financial' department for the Government, I hold you just as responsible as I do them for collecting and properly allocating my money, because that is YOUR JOB. It's NOT to harass the people and be jerks. It's to do good bookkeeping. And, by the current state of the economy, as accountants with a current $21 trillion dollar deficit - YOU SUCK.

Of course, I will be taking my check to a REAL accountant to confirm that you have properly refunded EVERYTHING as I have NO reason to trust your accounting skills. Please be advised that I will bill you for any amount that you do not properly provide me at the standard collections interest rate you screw people with of: 3% per DAY. I would thank you for your services over the years, but the truth is, your services have been worthless. Thank you for your time today, and God Bless...

Sincerely,

The livid Americans of this Country

...... wouldn't it be nice....

... on the other hand - if we ALL sent this in this April - wouldn't it be AWESOME - after ALL the money Obama is spending, to see their faces!!! Almost worth it...

ahh... to dream

Why CAN'T the economy be fixed? (and a solution!)

The answer starts at the bottom end - with the people. No - not the work ethics or morality (although, that plays a HUGE part in it - and I 100% blame.. TOTALLY hold accountable, the media for setting the trends, status symbols and selfish standards that govern our world today). What governs our lives at the bottom end, through governmental injection into our daily lives, controlled by Capitalist demands on Democracy -

Equifax, Transunion, Experian, Check Systems, CLUE, et. al.

Ooohh... I'm just a person with bad credit who's complaining, right? No need for you to read on, right? So go - go away. Stop reading - now! I mean it! You'll just be poisoned by some whiner like me, won't you? What's that... you are at least 'interested' in what I have to say? Could that have something to do with the fact that the totalitarian authority of agencies like the ones I listed above, concern you, too? Even, if only, on an unconscious level? The truth is - that's why, you're still reading. Not because you're whining about a credit score (heck, maybe you're one of the lucky few with a HUGELY AWESOME credit score); but because you have come to understand that certain agencies, supposedly 'not' in governmental control, have had laws passed, without the vote of the people, allowing these agencies to govern our everyday lives. How is that possible? How can it be that private enterprise was allowed to take hold of our lives? These reports are used to not only control our eligibility for obtaining loans, but rental contracts, employment opportunities, car insurance, military eligibility, legal representation and a myriad of other, daily elements of our lives are CONTROLLED, by what's on the reports kept by these agencies.

Worse - it's already a well known and somehow, ACCEPTED, fact of life that the majority of these agencies have WRONG information, and it costs us, dearly! It's already an ACCEPTED fact, that we live in such FEAR of identity theft, and how it will affect our CREDIT scores, that a whole new industry, profitting from us and taking our hard earned money, is designed to keep bad guys from getting bad things on our credit reports. But wait.... here's the REAL KICK IN THE BUTTOCKS: It's the crediting companies, that have given good people such BAD scores that they can't qualify for loans, or to shop or to live... that has FORCED the identity theft industry!!!!!

Hold on!!??? Wait a second? Let me get this straight.... the CAR MECHANIC, supposedly, who was given the total control over OUR vehicle, at OUR cost, has intentionally yanked out the spark plugs so the car won't work, so that he can charge US MORE MONEY, to fix the car?

Yup, that's what it is. Try complaining.. go ahead. Did it work? Haven't tried yet... I'll wait. Any luck? Nope. Don't worry - I already knew you wouldn't get anywhere. You see, the authority by which these agencies have been given control, is through Capitalists urging Congress to forcibly pass bills, without our being aware these bills were even on the table, and then allowing the Capitalists to run wild with it. ....... This has been another fine example of Democracy in its most corrupted and polluted form... brought to you by... your Political representatives, who YOU voted in and trusted... living to make your life (well.. actually THEIRS'), a better place.

But, it doesn't stop there. The 'credit' scoring method (which I won't try to explain in here since it's so dang convoluted, corrupted and based, primarily, upon the rich vs. the wealthy.. but I digress.. go look it up for yourselves), not only governs our loans, it tells landlords who is 'rent' worthy and who is a 'risk.' It tells mortgage lenders who to trust and not trust. No - not YOU, not YOUR character, YOUR personality, YOUR dedication to having a better life - YOUR money is what defines you.  And, not by how much you have.. make no mistake.. by how much you spend, how much interest you're willing to incur, how quickly/well you pay it back, and thusly - how much money THEY will make off of you. Yes... that is the ACTUAL definition of revolving credit (in my humble opinion only). If you have TONS of credit.. you're a risk 'cause you might go out and spend it and incur more debt than you can pay. If you have NO credit, you're a risk because nobody knows how you'll spend your money. If you have too much debt, you're a risk because you may not be able to pay it all back. If you have an equal amount of debts, spending and expenses and an equal amount of credit.. then... you're okay. Hey - you're a GREAT person! Because each debt you have is interest that someone is making off of you!! Lenders think that's awesome - being able to determine who's eligible based upon who will profit them the most.... neat, huh?!!!

We do NOT live in a society where cash means anything. Why do you think this identity crisis thing is out of control? Because it really is? Yeah right - just look at the news and what they're telling you is happening - and maybe you'll see between the lines.. maybe not. But, they WANT you off of cash. They WANT you in a bank. But, be warned... if you screw up... even once... even slightly... you WILL suffer. Your employer can look at your credit report... and determine if you're a thief or unreliable. Car rental companies look at your credit report to determine if the 4 hour car you want to rent, that you pay for the insurance on, that you paid for in full, is a worthwhile 'risk' to them. Car insurance companies judge whether or not you're a safe driver by what your credit report says. No - NOT you. NOT your DRIVING record! Heaven forbid that we judge people's driving based on their driving records!!! It's all about the money. The cash. The dough. The greenbacks. The almighty, all powerful, uncontained.... AMERICAN CURRENCY!

Without it - you're nothing. Got TONS of money in the banks and are extremely wealthy? Doesn't matter.. what does your credit report say? (thus.. the fear instilled in you about identity theft... ooooo.... guess what?.... all your money means NOTHING). What about courts or law? They look at your credit reports... so do the police. Maybe Joe Blow down the street stole your credit card, or you dropped it and they picked it up and used it... and now YOU'RE responsible. No... NOT the money.. don't be SILLY! You can PROVE you were off on your yacht, sailing the world, not in Nevada, buying up millions in property. But - the law will still hold you responsible - because it WILL stay on your credit report. In England, the child pornography sting that sent hundreds of people to jail, included a report from the AMERICAN FBI, about credit card purchases for the unlawful materials... that were STOLEN cards. And out of the hundreds who were in danger or who went to jail, that didn't know what to do - DOZENS!! killed themselves. But, hey.. that's England, right?

In America... the land of the free and the home of the brave, where individuals were captured and placed in jail and tried in courts for purchasing child pornography with their credit cards (why? Because.. the FBI created a "crisis" and passed another law, without WE the people... and continues to use the media to make us believe we are being attacked on our own soil - playing on our fears an issue that is NOT out of control - bad, and must be dealt with - but in a legal and controlled way - not the way it is now), were later determined to be INNOCENT because their identities were stolen with their credit cards!! Unfortunately, that didn't matter for many, because the marks were on their credit scores and they had permanent arrest records/rap sheepts - and killed themselves. Go read about Mr. America, the U.S. Marine who served ALL OF US with DUTY and HONOR and COURAGE, who put a gun to his head during Mardi Gras because of the same, identical situation of identity theft I just described. Yeah - that's justice for you. He defended you - kept YOU and YOUR children safe, STOPPED terrorism, and had to go out with a gun to his OWN head, leaving behind those HE loved and would never get to see again because YOU people (well, some of you) are TOO ignorant to do something or say something about this. (sorry for the tangent - but HAD to be said)

What does it all mean? It's the credit bureaus that put us on alert for the use of credit cards. It's the credit bureaus that act WITHOUT regulation and can put false information on our reports and destroy our lives, that answer to the IRS EVERY TIME they SCREW UP (and they DO - ALOT!!!!!!!!!! AND WE PAY FOR IT!!!), that is our unConstitutionally, unDemocratically, accepted standard for judging us as people, that CAUSED this in the FIRST PLACE! It's the capitalists that are banking off of this system that are laughing at us in these hard, economic times. And, WHY, can't the economy be repaired?

The banks were told: here's the money - go lend. And they said, okay! All better, right? Homes saved. Jobs kept. Businesses still running, right? Nope. All gone. Why? BECAUSE - the credit bureaus, check systems, even CLUE, all have us - without our knowledge, our permission, our signing off on anything - without our being informed - EVER - in THEIR systems. And, if we DON'T meet the credit scoring standards - we DON'T get the financial help. So, what did the banks do with it all?

HAHAHAHA - they POCKETED it! And, thusly, they needed MORE MONEY to bail them out! AIG - TONS of money, right? All gone in corporate loans? Nope - it's in their banks to spend and play with, because they agreed to hand out insurance to everyone... WHO QUALIFIES. Have you NOT read the stories.. the TENS OF THOUSANDS... not hundreds...not thousands... TENS OF THOUSANDS of stories, in the past 5 YEARS ALONE (that's 4000+ stories every year for those of you keeping score), of people who thought they were doing great, went for their loans, went to refinance, went to get a mortgage, went out to do business as usual, but found themselves suddenly at the losing end of the battle because of the CREDIT BUREAUS, "lending index?" If you haven't - then you're BLIND. If you're ignorant to the subject - then it's time NOT TO BE ANYMORE!! These tens of thousands of people included individuals ranging from the middle class (as the poor usually don't waste their time.. think about it people), to the filthy rich. And, what happened? BILLIONS OF DOLLARS were lost. Taxes couldn't be paid. Businesses hit the dirt.. and guess what?

Here we are today. Sure - spend $785 BILLION... hey, why not spend 140 QUADRILLION? It won't matter. The money is NOT trickling down to the people, because Capitalism sank its claws into the people, THROUGH the government, and because of the GOVERNMENT, we are screwed. And, who's going to fix all this? The GOVERNMENT? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... no wait, sorry about that... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... no really, it's not funny... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - okay, okay - yes it is. It's HILARIOUS!!! Why? Because - the government's NOT STUPID. And, don't you believe for one second that they are. Don't you be fooled. Don't be hornswaggled by the media. The Government knows EXACTLY what they are doing. Even as I write this, Obama is meeting with "small business leaders" (which of course, means a few of the wealthiest... since small business is the WHOLE country and big business are the few who can meet in one meeting...), to discuss a bailout portion for them, to stimulate the economy through incentives for their hiring people.

Wait... won't the businesses CONTINUE to rely upon credit reports, check systems, CLUE, etc.? YES!! They will! Won't the monies that are being offered to them.. THROUGH THE BANKS... be dependent on their credit scores? YES, it will!!! So, how are the businesses that are struggling and don't have high enough credit scores going to profit? How are the people who have lost out from this economy going to be hired when their credit scores are too low?

Wait.. that's STUPID. It DOES NOT WORK! YES!! And, Uncle Obama, KNOWS it. So, why is he doing it? The equation, while I don't have it totally down, is, in its basic form, pretty straight forward: the politics of 'looking good,' keep the people stupid, is what it's all about. It keeps us from realizing the underlying truth of what's killing us financially, morally and ethically - governmental injection of capitalism and control into our very lives. It keeps people having 'hope,' where NONE is to be found. And, when .. NOT IF... WHEN... it fails, the government will be able to sink their OWN fangs in deeper. The only real IRONY, of ALL of this, is that when the government DOES... they'll turn on those creditors who use and instituted the credit bureau lending/renting/living score systems, TEAR them apart (and then they will have to realize the effects of their greed and selfishness WAY too late...includign the gvt. placing the blame on them totally and accepting no responsibility for their own actions), and then take control of the scoring system databases - and our lives - with ALL of our information - right OR wrong - and of course, we all know just how well kept government databases are, accuracy wise, that is. I pray I'm wrong - but I know I'm not.

The solution - simple: equal out everyone's credit scores to zero. Equal out Check Systems to zero. Equal out Clue to nothing. END clue, END check systems and limit the 3 credit bureaus to reporting of lending, not credit cards, change the scoring system to include income, give higher presidence to good than bad, remove all other reporting methods, withhold the ability of any lender to report anything for 1 year, then set a new standard that bases lending scores upon good credit to mean people who are maintaining their finances, not people who are out borrowing and making others rich through exorbitant interest rates. (btw - for those of you arguing against this - credit bureaus don't help lenders reclaim their money.. they are.. in truth.. the only known "legal" method that creditors have to THREATEN you to get back their money by "threatening" to ruin your lives with your credit reports [and thus, the truth in all that I've said thus far] .. and they DO this... IF they want their money, they can go to small claims court and get it back through a solid paper trail.. NOT threat or FEAR tactics). Base it upon a person's life, not the almighty, dollar bill. In fact.. take it a step further - and remove it altogether!! Now, everyone qualifies for a loan based on: do they make enough money to pay for the loan? See? Isn't that simple? Isn't that easy? If a person defaults on a mortgage, what does the bank do? They repo the house, then resell it, and make MORE money than if the person had paid it all themselves. I don't see anyone being hurt except the people who couldn't pay for their house? And, it wasn't because they were lied to or jerked around with interest rates, it was based on: do you make enough money now, and will it be enough in the future, to continue to pay for this loan? Why is that SO HARD? Hell, I couldn't get a loan until I get back to work - but as soon as I did, I could get enough of a one to quit paying $10k a year in rent (I know- I get lucky with such low rent), and pay $10k a year on a home. A standard 20-year loan - $150k home, that's it (the other $50k in the outrageous interest rates that HAVE to drop.. sheesh!). Simple. My car insurance - NOT inflated because of my credit score. Why? I would be judged based upon a GREAT driving history - not how much MONEY I make. Otherwise, the insurance companies.. hey.. JUST like AIG, get to be rich by helping to SCREW the American economy, and violate our rights, in States where insurance is legally required, to be given insurance without bias of age, income, race, religion, etc.! Let's fix it, shall we? Even poorer folks, like myself, can qualify for rentals without living in fear! Maybe, we can EVEN get jobs. And, this time, if we screw up - IF - it is no longer a matter of 'risk' - which is to say: WE ARE CURRENTLY BEING ASSUMED GUILTY FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAVE TO PROVE OUR INNOCENCE REPEATEDLY TO EVERYONE AND ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR SIMPLY "LIVING" IN THIS SO-CALLED 'FREE' AND 'GREAT' COUNTRY; but we can be held accountable IF we screw up, and have a chance to succeed - JUST LIKE our FOREFATHERS INTENDED. And, that system, hurt Nobody except those who couldn't pay their debts, for a VERY long time in this country; and it WORKED. There was no reason for the credit bureau change EXCEPT to support corporate greed and wealth. It's simple, folks... see? Not that hard, is it? Even the stimulus - would suddenly work, because the banks would FINALLY make the loans demanded of them and [unfortunately] continue to charge their outrageous interest (that they never pay back to their investors..... you know... the people... oddly enough... for those of you with a checking or so-called 'savings' account.. you understand what I'm saying), and people can afford to live, the economy can prosper, and hey - we'd all be in a better place financially than we are now!! Think about it...

There is a terrible storm coming... will you build your house from bricks.. or continue to live in straw huts?

We don't need Mary Poppins - we NEED the TRUTH (pt 2)

Continuing on... you see... one of the very, most precious gifts that the Lord has seen fit to bestow upon me is: vision. You can call it prophecy, strangeness, illusions, delusions, dreams, whatever. Personally, I don't care what you call it. When you read the following, perhaps you'll see what I mean:

You see, I saw this army. They were slothful and fat. They were dumb and lazy. They fought amongst themselves, hurting each other. They stayed in their armor, dirty, smelly, constantly stuffing their faces, falling asleep in between everything they had to do and so on. Why? Because, the government that commanded them, that ordered them to kill and commit corruption and help them get away with anything they wanted, that government knew, that the BEST way to control these people was to keep them happy - all the time. Keep the wool over their eyes. If these people weren't fat and eating themselves to death, they were tired and asleep. If they weren't doing either of those, they were doing what the government told them. If one of them got injured and complained (as I saw two of them fight, the bigger one cutting off the smaller ones' arm and the smaller one running around for help), nobody listened. Nobody responded. They let him bleed to death and die. Everybody was too preoccupied with themselves to care. They wore their 'armor' like it was some kind of security blanket. They believed their personal power and authority to be absolute because they were given whatever they wanted.

Meanwhile - the people suffered. That food did not come for free. It came from the starving homes of children. They were fed sweets and candies and all sorts of "goodies", that were, in reality, very, very bad for them. Their sense of 'justice,' hurting the innocent, even one another, without consideration for morality, lef them to self-indulgance. Their constantly falling asleep simply kept them busy and out of the way. Whenever someone cried out for help, there may have been a spark.. an inkling of interest... but it soon faded. How does this relate to our current society?

Simple: we have been lead into self-indulgance, greed and desensitization by the very authorities we trusted to be the shepards. Think I'm being an 'extremist?' Maybe you haven't noticed the cars on the road - the people who pass by the starving and homeless, desensitized to the fact that there REALLY ARE quite a few people out there in need, even if they appear not to be, and instead, pay CASH to 'beautify' the hunk of INANIMATE steel that they call their vehicles - as it's their status symbol. Maybe you haven't noticed your dependence on radio and television. Maybe you haven't noticed that when a news story comes up and we all get excited, it disappears and switches to the next topic before it's ever done and we don't even remember what the last one was! Still don't believe me? How many of you remember who Terri Schiavo is? C'mon - how many? What was the case about? Hey - doesn't matter that the media should have stayed the hell out of it and the law was wrong to intervene in the way they did - but the truth is - who remembers? Who knew about the thousands and thousands of OTHERS who are in hospitals, at the same time Shiavo was, suffering from the same fate? Or, about the millions who have been suffering that fate for the past 30+ years?

Here's the one truth above all others I can COMPLETELY assure you of:

You don't want to know the truth.

I mean that. Not as a 'warning,' but as a 'matter-of-fact' statement. You, personally, would rather NOT know the world is ending, NOT know the economy is failing, NOT know that bad things are going to happen. And, the media KNOWS it! They've been training you, at the order of the shepards (government), for countless years now. They've been masterfully convincing you that death, gangs, violence and such factors are not really, "that big of a deal." Well, that is, unless the Feds suddenly 'want' it to be, and suddenly, there's a "crisis!" Remember the 80's? Remember the stories that made people live in fear in big cities, that you would be carjacked, at gunpoint, at every intersection? You don't? Either you're too young... and it's time you realize that you NEED to be educated for YOURSELF... or you were trained to ignore it and move on. How many of you remember the "AIDS" epidemic? Where did that go? The "Killer bees?" The "Bird flu".... people.. "ANTHRAX?" Where have these things gone? Go ahead - take a sealed, manilla envelope to a courthouse, with documentation to turn in, stand in line and try to open it up in front of the court clerk. Know what he/she's going to tell you? GO OUTSIDE and do that. They're not allowed to let you open the envelopes in the courthouse because of the Anthrax concern. You can't bring sealed documents into a courthouse for that reason!! But... where'd the story go? Since when did we ALL become the terrorists?

It's simple. Mary Poppins... isn't real. Sorry. Hate to spoil it for you, but she's only the representation of the good within each and everyone of us if we ever chose to look for it. Her umbrella is love. Her smile is charity. Her gift was not profit, for in truth, it came with a price. If we want things to be better in our lives, we have to WORK for it. No, I'm NOT talking about the daily, grinding, boring, unrewarding and unrelenting job you have simply so you can pay off some debts and continue to incur others, hoping against hope to stay in that "comfort" zone; I'm talking about yourselves, your friends, and your family.

This isn't a 'cheery,' lovey, make you feel all warm-hearted turn around. It's the truth. In the vision I was given, the one person who watched all of this pain could sit by no longer. They began to fight back. Sure, the guards... the people... who had been kept in limbo, were gong to suffer and be hurt. They were going to find themselves at the ends of boots and fistacuffs, not out of anger, but out of love. Something HAD to break their routine. Unfortunately, in the world we're in, there's only one 'wake up' call that can be severe enough to aid the vast majority now:

War. Not even natural disasters work anymore. Look at South west America. What happened to the south? What happened to the people? Do you even know? A tsunami SO powerful, that it flooded multiple CITIES, wiped out homes and destroyed lives... but... the media, who capitalized on it when it happened, quickly buried it to keep you from caring. What about the flood that hit asia and killed over 100,000 people? The orphaned children? Have you heard about them? It profitted the media... and then *poof*, just like magic, it went away. You see, when the media tries to be "mary poppins," they swoop in, make everything look good, take their money and then leave. But, unlike Mary Poppins, they don't actually fix anything. In fact, just the opposite. They end up making things worse because we never had time to deal with the original problems that were there and are suddenly encountering newer, even more devastating problems! Be afraid folks.. be very afraid. And if you aren't now.. you will be ... you will be. (no... I'm not paying Lucasfilms for that either.... nor am I getting paid, so we can call it even).

We need the truth. we need to know everything sucks. This isn't because we 'need' a downer. We're ALREADY in a depressed state. This is the most depressed nation of people in the UNIVERSE.. at any given time in all of HISTORY! But, when a person's down, what do you do? Do you sit in there and tell a manic depressive, "hey bud, it's gonna be okay,"? Do you look in at the person sitting in the bath tub, getting ready to slice their wrists open or drop a hair dryer in the water with them and say, "Don't look so glum, buddy, things are gonna work out!"? YOUR positivity makes people MORE depressed. Maybe things WILL work out. Maybe they'll just work out for YOU. But, by pretending everything's beautiful - we are only MASKING the truth. By ignoring the problem, we are only letting it GET WORSE. You have to step up to the people, you have to take 'em by the hand and say, "HEY - YEAH - things SUCK - things are BAD - and probably, they are going to get WORSE! AND, I can't promise you I can fix them, or they'll EVER get fixed, but sitting here sulking, sitting here getting ready to give up... even sitting here PRETENDING that your house is NOT on fire will ONLY BURN YOU."

What is it the President said that the news jumped all over? (now remember... I'm NOT an Obama supporter... but here's the truth): He said: People, the economy's bad. Things don't look good. We need change NOW. We need to do something immediately or we're all going to fail.

So, why did the government (aka controllers of and via the media), slap down the request for positivity. People WERE listening to the President and WERE trying to get prepared for the worst. They WERE watching the news and saying, "hey - we're all being cheated and lead like lambs to the slaughter - we NEED change." But, it wasn't the change the President wanted. The government didn't want us involved. Instead, they realized their mistake. Rather than us just accepting their totalitarian authority, we were going to rebel, and in order to appease the masses, they are filling our plates with "goodies," they are shrouding us in "armor," and they are trying to quietly separate themselves from us. The results?

Those "goodies," these "incentives", the "stimulus package," and other factors... are actually NOT good for us at all, and we will suffer for indulging in them.
The "armore," the 'protective blanket,' that tells people to spend, spend, spend, people to be okay with the idea their nest egg will return, people not taking action against AIG, believing the government is doing it for them, will wake up from their slumber only to find their armor was cheap ol' plastic and aluminum, and when the sword comes down, we will be hurt... badly.
And, their separation... well... you've read George Orwell's, 1984, haven't you? What about Ayn Rand's, When Atlas Shrugged? (1984 is on video for those of you lazy people.. like me :)... don't know if atlas shrugged is.. you can look it up if you want). If you have.. then you've been warned.. you're just ignoring it. If you haven't... then you're the ones who are going to suffer doubly, unaware that the tsunami will hit.

It takes one person, folks. A guy from Texas told the IRS - "I'm not paying taxes. You can't make our elected officials do it.. who are NOT above the law... you can't make me do it." Another gentleman followed after a senator and caught up with him in the white house, on camera, and video tapped his attempts at forcing the Senator to answer the question, "Why are YOU not being held responsible for your actions and how can YOU represent the people if you're cheating them?"

But, do you hear about them now? Nope. The news doesn't want you to hear that 'negativity.'?????

Finally... let's not forget one, important point. Mary Poppins - the REAL story of Mary Poppins - wasn't the kind nanny who 'shielded' anyone from the truth. She was adamant that the solution to the problem can only come when we face the REAL problem. She didn't tell the children the banks were corrupt or deceiptful. She didn't tell them their father was just another corrupted bureaucrat. She told him the truth about the world around him. The little old lady who feeds the birds really COULD use their support. THAT was a worthy cause. She didn't diss on the banks. She didn't tear into "father." She let them destroy themselves, but cound only do so by EDUCATING the children with the truth. You cannot defend yourself if you are not equipped. You need the truth. You need to believe in what's right. You need to stand up. You need to not let the few who have tried be the only ones. No one rose up after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. fell, and because of it, his dream was corrupted (referring back to the post regarding the boondocks and segregation). The impoverished CAN'T do it alone. YOU - ALL of you - must fight. Think you're going to risk what you have? What have you got? Really... what is it? What is so valuable to you that you don't believe in freedom? Your stuff? ... too sad for me to comment on.... Your family? Sure.. till they get hit with the 200 - 400% tax increase, and money will tear everything apart.. war will tear it apart....

Maybe your wealth? What you profit from today, will have to be taken away tomorrow - when you'll need it the most - to pay for everything you were given today. Your life? What life? What are you here for? What are you working for? What are you doing? Don't be afraid to be the one. It has to be a chain.. it has to continue.. and only when our voices raise.. only when one.. after another.. after another.. fight.. die and care MORE about the future then themselves.. does change happen.

Just look at Christ. If it was good enough for the Son of GOD, to die as a mortal, to save the people; and His disciples to do the same, then should we not quit inflating our egoes and also stand up?..... think about it... not today.. not tomorrow.. but soon....

We don't need Mary Poppins - we NEED the TRUTH (pt 1)

It's all over the news; the media has been having a feeding frenzy on the issue: positivity. Barrack Obama needs to be more 'positive' in his speeches. The media needs to be more 'positive'. There are articles being published, calling for the media and press to start reporting 'good times,' not negativity.

But, does trying to transform the President and the media into a virtual 'Mary Poppins,' come with a price?

The answer is: yes; a very, very steep price. Here's the truth:
  • The economy has failed.
  • Democracy has failed.
  • Capitalism has failed.
  • Greed has led us down the poophole.
  • Churches have quit offering the truth.
  • The government's level of corruption is at an all-time high.
  • Government spending is out of control.
  • Our future generations are about to be totally screwed.
  • We NEED change NOW - not tomorrow or in a few years, NOW.
  • IF change doesn't happen, all of us alive today, WILL feel the terrible effects before it's over - and we WILL suffer too.

Sound very positive? No? Let me "Mary Poppinize" it for you in the way the media would like to see it:
  • Hey, the economy will get better, don't worry.. spend, spend, spend!
  • The Government's not responsible... past government's were, and this is a brand new day and age of honesty and integrity!
  • Don't blame corporate America, corporate greed is a good thing, it stimulates fair growth for small businesses and all of us.
  • You have every RIGHT to DEMAND MORE money... and we SHOULD spend more.. it's a good thing...
  • Separation of Church and State is an 'old school' philosophy, we need to do it Rome's way, where the government commands religion and policies exist to FORCE specific variations in faith...
  • Our politicians are there for US! They love us and care! They won't do ANYTHING that we wouldn't want them to do!
  • Don't worry about the 'free' money, we'll print more. After all, if you still have checks in your checkbook, are you REALLY broke?
  • The future generations don't know what's good for them. We do. We'll fix it.. just wait it out and see.. and if it's too late to fix it later, well, then we can all look back and laugh at this, right?
  • Change will come, just keep trudging away in your lives, and you'll see... aren't things getting better right now?
  • It's our job today, to care about tomorrow, and we can make the difference, we'll just add the taxation later on... and of course, there's no need to concern ourselves with a 400% tax increase on future generations... they'll have TONS of money, won't they?
Hmmm.... well, I don't know about you, but I feel SO much better! Whew! What a relief! Things are looking GREAT! I'm not gonna worry about unemployment, failing small businesses or HUGE government spending bills. I'm not gonna let AIG or the banks get me down! I'm going forward now! I'm preparing for my future! I'm... what's that? What do you mean I didn't have the money to spend? What do you mean the stock prices are still falling and I've lost everything? What do you mean I have nowhere to live? What do I do now?

What do you mean you have no answers because we wiped ourselves out? Didn't Mary Poppins save us? Didn't her umbrella of protection against the storms bring us new hopes? Didn't the bank hire back the family head that they fired so brutally and unjustifiably (as he finally stood against their greed), and give him a raise and higher rank and position? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE MOVIES AREN'T REAL???

Folks, it's called the primrose path:
Do not, as some ungracious pastors do,
Show me the steep and thorny way to heaven,
Whiles, like a puff'd and reckless libertine,
Himself the primrose path of dalliance treads
And recks not his own rede.

Hypocrisy. It's pure and simple. The doctor is dedicated to healing people... which is to say, 'he cares about people,' .... but only those who can afford it, which is, in contrast, to say, 'he doesn't care for people.' The politician is dedicated to representing the interests and needs of the people who elect him, which is to say, 'he is there to serve the people,' .... but passes bills without them, generates money for the government and his own raises, which is, in contrast, to say, 'he serves himself.' The police officer is dedicated to enforcing laws against lawbreaking citizens, which is to say, 'he serves the interests of justice for the safety of the people,'.... but instead, matlock isn't real, the detectives constantly attack and berate innocent people, shoot innocent people, imprison innocent people, stalk the people assuming their guilt and constantly lie because they don't care about hurting the innocent majority to get a few bad guys to get their money raises and exert/show off their power, which is, in contrast, to say, 'they serve their personal agendas.' This list goes on...

Congress just announced that they are going to, "end this foolish, automatic, cost of living increase, which, in these hard economic times, is ridiculous and unfair to the people." [They are now going to require a vote to pass cost of living increases]...

.... okay... stay with me on this one... (trying not to laugh out loud here)....

Congress did NOT, just announce, that they are going to stop giving "themselves" continuous raises, but rather, they are going to stop seeing to it that the American public, the PEOPLE, stop getting cost of living wage increases unless it is voted upon. Wait a second.. wasn't it... "we the people," who voted in to have the cost of living increases? Who remembers this? C'mon --- I know YOU do! YOU remember that YOU WANTED your employers to be forced to adjust their minimum wage levels for cost of living increases!! But, it doesn't MATTER what YOU want. YOU'RE JUST the PEON voter who means NOTHING in a Democracy. Now, Congress will vote on it.. FOR YOU. In fact, the cost of living increase vote also helped limit the old, Congress-giving-themselves-automatic-raises-whenever  the heck they wanted to, procedure. But, now, Congress will get to reinstate that. Fix the "old" Bush ways that were so screwed up.. you know... the ones that said the people's wages have to be adjusted for the cost of living increases? Remember that now?

When we are LIED to - when we are lead to believe that everything's 'beautiful,' we are NOT dealing with the Mary Poppins' of the world.. oh no... we are dealing with the Bernie Madoffs. We are dealing with the Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's. We are dealing with the CORRUPTED, GREEDY, SELFISH people that are trying to get their OWN agendas by you by "snow-jobbing" you. Why do they want you to be happy? Well... let me 'splain.... in part 2.. hee hee hee

From torrents to seatbelts.. when does it end?

After doing some extensive research into a service that I tend to steer clear of due to all the media hype, I've learned quite a lot about the torrentially, troubled world of bit torrents!

First off, bit torrents are the global standard for delivering high-quality files over the Internet. Files can be stored as 'torrents,' to simpify the downloading process. Simply put, there are too many files for any one source to carry, so instead, some internet providers create a "torrent" server. Now, while my terminology may not be 'exact' enough for a few of you computer geeks out there, the simple way to put it is that, the "torrent" server simply compiles a list of all the locations where these torrents can be accessed from, and provides a one-stop, easy location for them. Think of it as the post office. There are too many sources and too many destinations to randomly distribute files, so the post office centralizes this process, and you can send and receive files through that centralized source. While letters in the mail may require a 'stamp,' torrent servers usually make their money through advertising and other such services. The idea is simple: free access to free files. The original motto of the early day hackers: "Free the planet." Information is supposed to be distributed freely so that we can all benefit from it, on equal grounds with equal opportunities.

Unfortunately, people took advantage of 'bit torrents' and began to share things that were not free, such as movies, books and software. After time, pornography was added to the list, and recently, internet torrent servers such as "The Pirate Bay," have found themselves at the barrel end of government investigations for those freakish weirdos who also choose to distribute illegal pornography of underage individuals. While these servers do not keep the content at their site, monitor it nor provide filters of any kind to stop this, the "excuse" made by the federal government to attack them is that they are essentially an "accomplice" to these illegal file-sharing crimes. Here comes the trouble:

That means that the entire postal system needs to be investigated as accomplices to the distribution of anthrax, and such concerns have given the federal government the right to go through individual letters.
That means that the phone companies need to be investigated as accomplices to illegal content spoken through phone lines. This concern has also given the federal governments the right to monitor phone calls.
That means that each and every one of you need to be investigated as accomplices to every crime in existence, as it will be, at one point or another, you will know someone, speak to someone, hear a conversation, read a letter or perform some other, normal, daily task that will inevitably be involved with an individual who commits a crime or performs an illegal act, as their accomplice.

Sounds silly, right? Well, don't be so sure about that. No one is saying that the distribution of underage pornography should not be stopped. In fact, I have been, until recently having been shackled, one of the loudest voices urging the government to take action, writing letters to Congress and offering creative ways for organizations such as Microsoft to build filters into their server operating systems that will help stop a majority, if not all of this content. Why have they not responded? It's not profitable for the authorities to have such content stopped. I know what you're thinking - I'm a conspiracy theorist. But, let me validate my points for you:

In the beginning, there were BBS (bulletin board systems), and on these systems, individuals sought freedom of knowledge and information, hoping for a brighter future for us all. Then - a transformation came. Napster was originally started in the same manner the torrent servers exist today. Music was shared freely, from one end to the other, by users who chose to do so. The record companies saw their sales drop. No longer could the music stars survive off of their overpriced, garbage-quality music, making millions upon millions of dollars per year. The record company executives (whom we supposedly hate today because of their greed, but "chose" to ignore for countless years prior), were so upset that their pocketbooks went from $40 million per year to $30 million per year, having to fork out money to the recording artists whom they were already ripping off, that they involved - "the law!" And, now, justice had a new course - a new direction. Justice found a new 'criminal' element to hunt.

It began by attacking the people. And, in the beginning, the RIAA (recording industry association of america), bullied, scared and threatened people; then finally held them hostage for MILLIONS of dollars for 20 or so songs that would have cost about $36 bucks on CD's!! These people were so broke and so busy, caught up in their business-corporate lives trying to survive by the ever pressing corporate greed of America, that they hadn't the time to go out looking for rare and hard to find music, or even find the modern era music they wanted to hear, and were willing to accept music at 1/3 it's quality (note - mp3's are so low in quality compared to a CD, that it's actually equivalent to listening to the radio - more or less), just to have the same freedoms as everyone else. But, the law decided this process was too time consuming, and thus, they were not making enough money. So, they did the next, best thing - they went after Napster itself!

At the time, I was one of millions who recommended to Napster that they do what the radio stations do: take part of their income from advertising and pay a small stipend to the record companies. Of course, with the quantitiy of music and countless variations of type and style, this would have broken Napster. The next recommendation was to either charge more to the advertisers, or to charge a small service fee to the users for accessing Napster - either on a 'per download' basis or on a monthly basis. (Needless to say, I haven't the records nor the time to go sue Itunes or Napster today for stealing my idea... and a class action lawsuit would be just as worthless to them as what our government did to them!!). Well, Napster fought the law, and the law one. They were to be held responsible for everyone else's actions. Law enforcement had its [essentially in this particular industry] first and biggest taste of power; and the money was great! Soon, Napster's owners were broke, the napster servers were redone, and today, we have Itunes, Napster and others. Still, it's not a bad deal. We pay money to 'legally' download music (and somehow we can legally copy it back and forth to our Ipods although that service is not paid for and is essentially, in its purest definition, illegal, the same as copying a cd or audio cassette is illegal, but because they can't monitor it... yet... they haven't made a law about that), and the cost is not too bad. I felt bad for Napster, but the RIAA and the government were too power hungry to contend with.

Then came the torrents, P2P and other file sharing methods. All of these involved downloading music, movies, and all sorts of other files. And, ever since, the RIAA and the law have had field days with peoples' lives. Over what? Music. Yes - somebody recorded that music. Yes, somebody GOT paid for that music. And, every time a CD sells, about .02 cents goes to the recording artist. Of course, now, with the advent of ITunes and Napster, the recording artists (the ones that want to make money, not the self-centered-"we're too rich to care about you" artists.. which is sad to say, includes many of the ones I used to respect), have begun to put their music on their internet for free, realizing that it is attracting more and more customers.

Wait a sec? Does that mean that someone heard the music and went.. "hey, I like this!" and then went out and bought it? Yup. In fact, Napster was the biggest boon the recording industry had ever seen, and created a much larger profit margin for them than they lost from free music sharing. But, of course... we don't have a media in this country that reports everything to us (hint hint wink wink - yup - here's your conspiracy theory on the government controlled media....). So - what about the torrents? Well, the RIAA was recently kicked in the face by the Oregon Attorney General and several other governmental bodies around the Nation because the RIAA turned its attention from the individuals it was seeking to rape, to government institutions such as the University of Portland. What happened? Well, just that the Attorney General clearly stated that the RIAA was using abusive tactics, cheating the government and lying to the courts, taking advantage of law enforcement, and couldn't actually 'prove' that these people were 'stealing,' anything. You see... online makes it virtually 'impossible' to tell if someone has stolen a song, movie or book, without some very convincing evidence.. and even then... a lot of times, it's still hearsay.

But, was this something "new" for the RIAA? Heavens no - it was the same thing they had been doing - it's just that their greed got the better of them. The government doesn't mind bullying the people and getting away with breaking the law themselves... but don't you dare call THEM on it!! (Shall we look at the tax dodgers that Obama has elected to his cabinet.. hmmm?). So.. as it is with the Pirate Bay, of course, the government's going to put them on the same type of restrictions they did Napster, right? After all, there are groups like NetFlix that now offer downloadable movies for a small stipend, making sure to pay the recording companies their share! The answer is, sadly, no. As the government got a taste of power with Napster and now knew they could start tracking IP addresses (although as it is with the RIAA... the government has stated that IP addresses are NOT revealing of 'who dun it', just the general vicinity in which it was 'dun'), their hold over the Pirate Bay was this: to have all 'torrent' servers be required to provide the IP addresses of individuals downloading content.

Yes.. this includes 'FREE' content.. and some files are most certainly, free. But, as it is with your music downloads which are perfectly legal through ITunes, the government will now monitor many of the downloads going through many 'torrent' servers. In fact, this 'inspired' them enough to go to Congress, tell Congress: "There's a crisis!" and convince Congress to pass a law requiring ALL internet service providers to release the IP address records of their clients. Who fell first? AOL. Then came MSN, and shortly thereafter, others. Many private servers are still trying to hold onto their client's rights: THIS IS THEIR PRIVATE LIFE - YOU CANNOT GET INTO THEIR PRIVATE LIVES! But.. that will soon fail (in fact, already has/is). Email service providers are already releasing emails and IP addresses to the authorities - including YOURS - and you don't even know it (that is unless they 'find' something wrong.. because.. now.. they can freely look through it).

Do we blame the torrent servers? Do we blame the people doing illegal downloads? Do we blame ourselves? Do we blame our government? Do we blame greedy, corporate America? The answer is simple: WE ALL take responsibility, because we are ALL the same people of this nation. I may have never contributed to any illegal downloads through any service, but not standing up against the authorities when it should have happened, not educating myself, turning off the news back then (like many of you are doing today.. even right now), and ignoring the fact they are lying, makes me responsible, too. I should have seen it coming and done something. The authorities have been given 'God-like' powers over our lives. That is not to say that their abuse of powers is telling us that stealing is 'illegal', but, here's the thing. Rather than revealing individual 'IP' addresses, developing 'circumstantial' cases in courtrooms that cost HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars in tax payer money and jailing millions of millions of people (yup - 3 mil+ in prison at $40k per year .. minimum... costs $120,000,000,000 BILLION per year... and in jail, the 3+mil in there costs another $120 billion, and of course, the law enforcement to do ALL of this costs well over $800 billion when broken down to federal, state, county and city levels), why don't they put the same requirement on the torrent servers that they did napster. "hey guys... just advertise more, charge more per advertisement, we'll force these media giants who are pocketing more money than the current national debt every year to make special arrangements for lower quality downloads to not charge as much.. and we all profit... and then.. the filters for illegal pornography can simply be applied to stop it.. p period." The truth is, illegal contraband shouldn't get through - end of story. And, for the occassion or two that it will.. well.. then.. AND ONLY THEN... can law enforcement (notice that it is not... predictive law enforcement.. law enforcement guesstimating... etc..... law ENFORCEMENT.. to enforce a law that is otherwise being broken), without 'monitoring' our lives and watching over us like big brother, go get the bad guy.

What's the price? Well, the law doesn't get to act like corporate greedy people or corrupt politicians. There's a WHOLE lot less illegal activity going on. Everyone gets to have the freedom of privacy in what they do, unless they break the law. And.. well.. that's about it. Sound so terrible? If not - then why isn't it happening? Why is the law doing now, to torrent/P2P servers what they did with Napster? Why are we going to go through the same song and dance while illegal activity continues unchecked? Because... greed and power. District Attorney's cannot be held accountable for sending innocent people to prison. Judges cannot be held accountable.. law enforcement cannot be held accountable.. and everyone is at their mercy, their opinions, and people can spend their lives in prison for 'circumstantial' evidence that is convincing enough to 'think' a person is guilty. Don't believe it - go read the innocence project and understand this: there's no 'DNA' for computer evidence, and the innocent people in prison for those false charges, will never have anyone to be able to discover the truth and set them free.

So.. the torrential trouble with torrents is: (drum roll please...........) that the law just won't quit exercising their dominitive authority. Until we put standards that hold law enforcement, prosecuting attorneys, judges and others (such as private institutions like DHS, CPS, etc.) accountable, they have no fear and thus, no reason to consider the truth. They have no reason to care about the people. Folks - don't blame them - blame yourselves. 9/11 put our airports under such control that we all, unwillingly, submit to random searches, interrogations and basic strip downs even in the regular security lines. 9/11 put our state-to-state borders under such control, that the authorities can conduct RANDOM strip AND ANAL searches (no - not a joke - emphasized for you to see the truth and be scared about the reality of the situation). The so-called "anthrax" threat put our post offices under control so that they search our mail. Phone tapping, wire tapping, and now - internet tapping - are all open-door for the government. Your argument, "well, if I'm not doing anything wrong, I don't have any reason to be worried." Let me offer you this: we are no longer a "Republic", whereby our elected officials 'represent' us. Our elected officials now make laws without our input (thus, inherintly, we haven't been a Democracy for.. um.. a VERY long time). They make laws that can put us in jail without our knowledge. You may wake up one day, unaware that cell phones in your car are illegal and BLAM - jail and a ticket. You may wake up one day and find that copying 'snippets' from published media newspapers in emails is illegal and BLAM - jail and a ticket (oh.. by the way.. it is... for those of you that didn't know, you can't quote the AP without their direct, implicit permission or paying the annual AP fee to do so).

What 'new' law is next? You can't email somebody without first using an anti-virus scanner, and now YOU'RE a terrorist! Did you know in some places, if you're caught with wireless internet at your house and it's not passworded, you can be fined and thrown in jail for contributing to illegal internet access? So... how safe are you? We let law enforcement sit on the side of the road with a speed gun and watch us, 24/7, to make sure we're not 'driving too fast.' Saves lives, huh? Really? Do you have the statistics on that? Are YOUR statistics from "law enforcement officials" that make money doing that? We let the government pass taxes without our approval. The law can legally set up stings, distributing drugs and illegal pornography in order to catch the buyers. I wonder what happens when NO ONE else in the world is distributing these things EXCEPT the authorities. Ever thought of that? Sure.. you say.. hey .. it's good they're stopping it. But, I say - maybe we should be concerned that THEY'RE perpetuating it as well!!?? If they didn't buy it or acquire it in the first place, they couldn't use it, could they? So - they have to get it from somewhere and distribute it. If it's illegal for a car to go over 55 on a highway (and was since 1975 until recently), why didn't they make the max speed on cars... 55 mph? Ever ask yourself that? If seatbelts are required.. EVERYWHERE... why didn't they make cars not be able to start without them? Ever wonder that? Oh... it would.. what's that.. interfere with our FREEDOM? Freedom for what? To make a bad choice and send ourselves to jail? If you're SO in support of that... how can you support letting the authorities violate EVERY Constitutional right.. EVERY ONE.. not some or a few.. but ALL OF THEM? But, you say.. hey... people make bad choices.

You're right.. and how has 'law enforcement,' under the hugely unscrupulous means by which it operates today, fixed this? Really? Are there 'Less" people in jail? Are only the 'guilty,' in there? Maybe you justify that by saying that it's okay for a few innocent to be in there in order to make sure the guilty are also in there. Really? Well, then, I suppose we might as well do away with lawyers.. hey.. don't get upset.. after all.. it's okay, right? If it's okay for others.. it should be okay for you, too, mr. innocent, to go sit in prison, to make sure the guilty are in there too (just for your information, the Supreme Court ruled in the opposite, saying that it is a greater crime that 1 innocent person should be in jail than 10 guilty go free... and you can quote me on that). Of course, when the innocent go in.. that means.. the guilty weren't caught.. they're running free, and now, out of 3 people, 2 bad, 1 good, we now have 2 bad... wonder how them odds stack up? Maybe ... a world like we have today? Where Arizona is now the kidnap capital of the nation and innocents are being held hostage for money? Maybe where sex-slave/trade is on the rise? Yeah.. good idea. It's worked wonders so far.

Torrents/P2P to become more like Itunes... and we quit chasing ghosts... when does it end?
[PS - didn't grammar check this one, sorry. I do a basic on the others, but because I'm writing all this on a pc for my bro who can't, my time is limited]

Why the Bailout didn't work

Well, I've listened to the talk show hosts, Laura Ingram, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Dennis Miller, Bill O'Reilly and almost all of the news stations (CNN... if you call that news... NBC, ABC, CBS, et.al.); and nobody is discussing the 'real' failure of the bailout. [Of course, living on the West Coast, one doesn't get to actually hear these talk shows 'live,' to call in, and they never make email accessible in order to avoid the umpteen billion they would receive on a daily basis! And, I DO apologize to those who have discussed the REAL reason this that bailout, which have existed historically and worked, didn't work!!] To understand the failure, you must first understand the historical relationship between the Government and business. In an article by Gary Bolding, he writes, "The early champion of government involvement in the economy was our first Secretary of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton thought that the way to strengthen the government and economy was to gain the support of the moneyed classes." Government and big business through the National Banking system, designed to support one another was started long ago; and government bailouts soon followed.

Stretching back to the early days of American Motors, the government has offered its assistance to corporations in times of a crisis. As Nelson D. Schwartz with the International Herald Tribue wrote, and istockanalysis.com noted on their website, the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are only the latest in a very long line of Government 'rescues,' designed to help the economy. Whether it was Lockheed or the Penn Stock Railroad by Nixon, or Chrysler by Carter, the government has a history of using consumer tax dollars to save dying companies. Let's examine 'why' they do this:

Historically, when a corporation fails, the economy suffers. Unemployment rises, purchases are down and a cacading effect can be felt. While it has never occurred on the same scale as the depression of the 1920's, there has been a consumer and media-driven panic that it will happen again. Thanks to major disasters such as the Watts Riots, the San Francisco quake and the New York blackout, people live in fear that the impoverished will seek to steal whatever they can when our backs are turned. People fear that the unscrupulous will run rampit, beyond their usual tyrades during major disasters with desperation being an added driver to the criminal vehicle. While there is logic in this, it is a point of failure in our economy that has lead us to the bailout disaster we're in now. But, there was a logic to these historical bailouts. How these bailouts worked is this:

Invest money into a dying corporation, allow them to afford to keep their staff, allow them to produce product at no cost and flood the market with their product at a decreased price, thus, help those who couldn't otherwise afford the product to become long-term customers, the company makes more money than before, there are more successful companies and individuals (thus more tax revenue for the government), and everybody lives happily ever after (another point of logic is that the government doesn't have to increase welfare for the unemployed and the FDIC doesn't take a hit from a bank losses). For those who can't see this yet, let me put it this way (and I'll use fictitious, but simple numbers to keep it simple, because I'm a simple minded person; and we'll pick on GM because they're actually a good company and I can hope they have a sense of humor...):

CREATING THE CRISIS
GM sells 100,000 cars at $100 a piece in one year: Their profit = $10,000,000.00. (Not a bad haul)
Their costs end up being around 70% of that profit: $$7,000,000.00: Their pre-tax net profit =: $3,000,000.00 (still, not shabby)
The government requires 20% [or $2,000,000] of their profit (from that $10 million mind you...): Their total net profit: $1,000,000.00 (still.. it's profit.. right? - note, I'm being REALLY nice about the taxes right now....)
Now GM has: $1,000,000.00 to start out the next year with.

Year 2 - GM wants to produce 150,000 cars, knowing that the demand/population is up - but remember what it cost before? ($7 million for those of you not paying attention). Now they only have $1 million to do this on... so... they borrow from the bank: $10 million (to give them a little extra working capital, as their expenses will be higher, they may need a new plant, etc.) - and the banks are charging them an interest rate of 8% ($800,000).
Now - do all the math:
Income: $17,000,000 (to account for inflation, higher sales tags, etc.)
Expenses: $13,000,000 (to account for inflation, cost of living increases, etc.)
Borrowed Money Expenses: $1,000,000 (by the time we look at inflation, compounding interest, etc.)
Cost of new building (for the increased production): $5,000,000 (but they'd only pay off $2,000,000 of that this year)
Net profit before taxes: $2,000,000
Government Taxes (22% with inflation, higher sales/staff/property/etc. and out of the original $17 mil): $3,740,000
Net loss after taxes: $1.74 million.

Now - an accountant/analyst will look at this and tell you it's all wrong and go into the looooong, boring details of why. Of course, the reality is - this is the way business grows - it takes a risk, knowing that it may take a loss, but knowing that soon enough, that $5 million dollar building will be paid off, they'll be able to triple production and the amounts will balance out.

But, something happens.....

The national debt grows... interests rates are hiked, investment interest rates are lowered, the minimum wages are forcibly increased, special interest groups start making all sorts of new requirements that cost money - and lose jobs - less jobs, higher costs, production is down. Now the business is suffering, and their borrowing rate increases until they are in a crisis! Let's look at the end consumer side:

At first, the cars cost $14,000 (by the time it reaches the car lot).... so people are buying
The second year, they may have gone up to $15,500... and while it's higher, the banks are still lending, people are still buying, and there's more people - so more consumers means the prices can stay down (this is the success in America, not my wallet, anti-greed principal).
By the third year, in order to meet the net loss, the car manufacturer jacks up the price - and consequently, so do the car lots: $20,000.00

Wow... that's a HUGE increase. Less people can afford new cars, they stick to their old cars or used car lots begin cropping up like wildfire, and while an increased population is supporting continued sales - a high demand object (which should naturally encourage higher production and profit for the manufacturer), is now a no longer affordable object - and everyone, all the way back to the manufacturer is hurt - and now we leave the success in America principal, and as wallets tighten - the greed factor kicks in. Prices... increase.

But, that's not all. Here's the REAL kicker. The government, in their effort to increase the size of their wallets starts making rules. More, and more, they make - more rules. You can't drive without a seatbelt - $150. You can't have a cell phone with you while driving - $150. You can't drive West on Tuesday because Friday the sun rises in the East (or whatever other rules they come up with to make YOUR life better, everyone's life safer - because we all know, that if the government doesn't hold our hands, we're going to be incapable of feeding ourselves) - the government changes the rules. But, they justify it, you see. More accidents mean MORE government services, ie. ambulances, police, sheriff, state police, helicopters, new cop cars, new city cleaning crews, more road departments, a raise for Congress and a partridge in a pear tree!! So, they hire 4 new cops to sit in cars with a speed gun, using gasoline, and after all expenses are counted, creating an expense of $150,000 in a year, PER officer (to save the increase in population of 20,000 people, of course costs $600,000.00 - being again, REALLY, really nice about what they really cost us!). But, in order to afford that - and the raise for Congress - is going to increase taxes. It increases the manufacturer's taxes and the consumer's taxes - and now, there are less cars being purchased...

So - here we are: The crisis point!

TRADITIONAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS BAILOUTS
In the past, when this type of situation occurs (of course, perpetuated by increased taxes - government, increased interest rates - government, anti driving rules - government, increased costs to manufacturers, salesmen, etc. - greedy business owners, false belief that we can get loans and feel safe about it - gullible American public - and so on and so on) - the Government steps forth to help the company.
(remember before we head into the next section - that 'the Government,' does not make money - this is YOUR money - the consumer):

So, in this bogus scenario, GM is ready to declare bankruptcy. The government sees that they are in debt by $100,000,000.00; that it will take $200,000,000.00 to produce the amount of cars they need to meet next year's original projections (plus), at no cost to the company and that this will keep the employees employed, get the banks and lenders paid off to prevent a crisis for the lending institutions, and allow the cars to be sold for 40% less than what they were the previous year.

So, GM now builds 500,000 cars at no cost. They would have put them on the market for $15,000 a piece - but, due to the bailout, they put them on the market for $10,000 a piece. No big deal - they're making ALL profit. There will be enough money left over to afford production for 2 more years at no cost, invest in a new building to increase production and technology - and keep the costs to the end consmers, down!
The car salesmen are told they the cars must sell for 40% less than last year. Well, last year, they were already charging $25,000 per car and were going to make $8,000 a piece. But, this year, they can't sell them for more than $15,000.00, and will make their $5,000 a piece. The banks are paid off and told to lend more money for car loans and encourage car loans - so they do. And, what happens?

Half a million cars sell for $15,000 a piece. People who couldn't afford them, now can. People who needed them for work, companies that needed them for productivity and entrepeneurs who want to offer new services, ALL get to buy cars, increasing the tax payer base for the government (in the hopes it will help, in the long-term, off-set what they gave to the manufacturer out of our pocket). Next year, GM will produce 600,000 cars, meeting the demand, the car manufacturers will still sell the cars cheaply, the car salesmen will jack up the prices a little, but not much, to still keep them affordable - and there is the circle of profit (versus the circle of life). The principals are simple:
More product at a lower price means more consumers, more income, more taxes and improved economics
Extending lines of credit means more opportunity, more risktakers - but also more successful venturers.

THE FAILURE OF THE NEW BAILOUT PROGRAM
THE HISTORY LEADING US UP TO IT
With more taxpayers at a higher income rate, we don't need to increase taxes. With more productivity from the car companies, businesses can afford to hire more people. And, it works, right?

Uh - oh - here comes the reason 'why' you hear the radio and television talk show hosts CONSTANTLY warning YOU - the consumer, against the government 'trying,' to 'fix,' things. Here comes the logic behind that argument that you're TRYING to pretend doesn't exist:

The government DOES increase taxes. What? Wait? Why? Aren't there already more taxes being paid? Won't there be more taxpayers in the next year? Well, yes, there will. And, yes, the above plan works for a very, very long time, because the banks are spreading the wealth amongst the people by offering loans and investing in people. But, then we get credit agencies like Equifax, Checksystems and other government and private organizations designed to help save the businesses BY HURTING THE PEOPLE. But, wait - isn't it difficult to 'predict' a failure in someone's credit or spending using a blanket technique? Oh no.... of course not. You can apply the same, one-type principal to 180 million... MILLION working Americans, and it will be the same for all of them.... NOT! But, they did it.

And, guess what else? The government sees the new money coming in - and - yup, you guessed it... "$CaChing!" New raises for Congress (because we know that they don't have to work any more than those members of Congress who were in place 50 years ago.... wait... that doesn't make sense?) The various government agencies who contract with them at 'prime,' rates (for those who don't know - it's like buying the $100 hammer vs. the $20 hammer, but in real business, no conspiracy stuff), get to take their share. Taxation increases because the government sees this - and suddenly, the consumer can't afford the product. The manufacturers realize the potential of increased production, but thanks to cost of living increases, rather have that potential come from less workers - more unemployment and more welfare.. woohoo! The banks and lenders, seeing this trend, and with their credit companies now in place, tighten their belts, invest in a specific few and leave the rest out. Now we get a HUGE separation in classes between the rich and the poor with no end in sight, a more dismal outlook on life and the economy begins to fail. Remember, the unemployment, high prices and other factors aren't only in GM now, they've extended into other businesses and every part of the economy hurts. (this is the simplest of the big picture)

A PLAN OF ACTION - FOR $700 BILLION DOLLARS
So, the government sees what's happened and says: Big business, why for did you hire that CEO at umpteen billion dollars? They say - because you helped screw us. The government says: That can't be, we're doing fine. The businesses and people mumble: yeah, because you're taking OUR money and... oh yeah, helping to SCREW us. The government says, here, I've got an idea:

Let's take $700 billion dollars of our money (wait... hold on... did you catch that? "Our" money? No - not one member of the US Government gave up 'their' paycheck for this - WE did), and let's do the traditional bailout, but since the whole of the economy has suffered, let's do it on a grandiose scale!! And, here comes the failure! Let us look now, at a REAL life example; AIG:

AIG is a worldwide insurance company (world.. not nation... but we're going to save her alone), which, if it fails, will cause a huge increase in welfare demands on the government (no, I didn't say loss of jobs, because I'm giving this to you from the government's point of view so you can try to understand their lunacy, which 'we' accept as normal); put people's pockets at risk so that they won't spend and won't pay taxes and make the banks and lending institutions take more of the tax money for themselves!!

So - AIG is bailed out. What is that successful plan which worked before?
More product, lower costs, continued employment of staff, extending lines of credit, right?

But, that's not... exactly... what happens. AIG's debts, you see, have been sucked up by the greedy, corporate staff. AIG's expenses aren't reliant on a product, but a service, and they can't really be held accountable to 'production' costs. So, here's what happens: AIG pays their corporate staff more. People are laid off and AIG looks to cheaper methods of handling their services. Of course, the lawyers they MUST employ to handle the lawsuits (thanks to - the government - for creating that disaster), now demand more money. AIG has 2 choices:
1. take an insurance policy for $800 for 6 months, make it $500 for 6 months and make it available to more people OR
2. take an insurance policy that is now $800 for 6 months, keep it that way and don't extend credit.

(yes, these are again, fictitious, sample numbers to illustrate the point.. sheesh!)
In choice number 2 (which is what AIG is doing right now), they will get their usual 10,000 people, for  $8,000,000.00 - which, with the bailout, would put them in a fair financial condition for next year.
In choice number 1, AIG would increase their consumer base by 10,000 people, for $10,000,000 people. That's only a $2 million difference - but, now there are more consumers, they've extended credit and their consumer base will continue to double for the next 4 years until that $2,000,000 becomes an added $8,000,000 and they will be pulling in $16,000,000.00 per year.

But, AIG didn't follow the government bailout formula for success. They didn't listen, and they didn't care - because the government didn't care. The government was far too preoccupied with special interest and self interest to follow the formula, although inherintly deficient due to continued governmental actions, that would have helped get our economy back on track for quite some time.

And, that folks - is WHY the bailout, didn't ... and won't.... work. At this point, it's free money for someone's pocket, not for keeping the consumers growing, not for supporting employment and not for the people. How awesome is that?

[And, as a final note, don't forget - that the government's continuing, even in the face of doing this bail out wrong, to make Legislation and decisions that will hurt us anyway! We're paying $1 trillion per year to prisons, jails and law enforcement - and yet, nobody seems to be too happy with it, except for law enforcement!! We're not getting the health system under control by starting at the source of the problems, we're increasing law and legislation to control peoples' individual lives, and yet - in this article we've already seen, that all that does is create such dramatic problems, that $700 billion WON'T fix it! That is MORE than the entire tax income for 2008, which means in 2009 - taxes will have to DOUBLE - and with the unemployment rate growing and the economy suffering - unless WE the people, stand up and rebel, take up against beauracracy and take away the Government's rights to limit our right to fight (ie. we PAY for the Attorney General in every state - and in every state, that VERY expensive office alone, is designed to protect the government from the people - go figure how THAT works??) - this will not last another year - when our debt is then quadrupled beyond repai. Just think about it.]

Stop, Obama Time! The Changer pt. 2

It's time for the Barack Obama miracle hour. In this (third) article in this series, we'll take a fairly thorough look into how this amazing man will reform the country and bring us peace so that we can all live happily ever after...

Yes - that was sarcasm. Just in case you missed it - go back and re-read it, thanks!

In New York, in September of this year, Mr. Obama said the following:
“I believe that America's free market has been the engine of America's great progress. It's created a prosperity that is the envy of the world. It's led to a standard of living unmatched in history. And it has provided great rewards to the innovators and risk-takers who have made America a beacon for science, and technology, and discovery…We are all in this together. From CEOs to shareholders, from financiers to factory workers, we all have a stake in each other's success because the more Americans prosper, the more America prospers.”

First - thank goodness he clarified that our free market has lead to our progrress. I'd hate to think it's a war-driven, all-powerful nature to build bigger and better weapons of mass destruction..... hmmm? Envy of the world... his dad is from Nigeria, right? I'm pretty sure in Nigeria, they might have some envy. Of course, 60% of the other world thinks we're idiots and 2% is trying to kill us and 10% wants us to stay away. Not sure that amounts to envy. Wasn't it Nixon who said America should be respected? That the loss of that respect is what needs to be regained? Not sure Nixon was so concerned about televisions and cars as a sign of success, but family, integrity and freedom. As far as our standards of living - let us make no mistake on what that means (even if Barack is clueless): that is a personal choice. Setting one's standards higher and higher is based on a system of greed, wealth and corruption. Not entirely sure if he meant that - or if he really is that crude. Of course, you might be lead to believe he DID mean that when you realize the risk-takers that made us a beacon for science and yadda yadda are not Americans. In fact, the majority are other countries. So, to that regard, he is right - they have benefited tremendsouly. But, of course, all of us Americans are in the same boat together. Obama, the politicans and the elite wealthy are on the upper part of the Titanic with access to the life rafts, and the rest of us are shoved in holes in the bottom of the ship unaware of the locking doors waiting to prevent us from being able to flee as well. And, while Obama lists CEOs down to financiers and then is kind enough to include factory workers - which includes upper management, this does NOT include (again) the rest of us on the bottom of the boat who make up the labor force of America upon whose shoulders the others in that list - stand. And, I'm not too sure about that last line. Let's see, Forbes has the largest list ever of billionaires in the U.S.A., and yet, we are at the highest unemployment and poverty rates, ever. Somehow - I don't really see the focus of money as a way of life having done us much good - but let's see what else he offers:

Fortunately, Obama has determined what the problem with the economy is, today:

Wages are Stagnant as Prices Rise:
While wages remain flat, the costs of basic necessities are increasing. The cost of in-state college tuition has grown 35 percent over the past five years. Health care costs have risen four times faster than wages over the past six years. And the personal savings rate is now the lowest it's been since the Great Depression.
FACT: So, essentially, what he could have - or SHOULD have said is: The cost of living is increasing while wages, are not. Pretty sure, this is right on the money.

Tax Cuts for Wealthy Instead of Middle Class:
The Bush tax cuts give those who earn over $1 million dollars a tax cut nearly 160 times greater than that received by middle-income Americans. At the same time, this administration has refused to tackle health care, education and housing in a manner that benefits the middle class.
FACT: Ah, see now, in my last article, I was wrong. Obama didn't want to give the wealthy bigger tax cuts than the poor, he wanted to make the tax cuts uneven across the board. While the wealthy receive a greater margin, it's because they make MORE money. But, that's okay... we can ignore this for now. There does need to be more equality. Of course, we've seen no change in health care reform - in this, or the PREVIOUS administration, education OR housing. And, for whom? That's right - the middle class. Isn't that indicative of where Obama was at BEFORE he began running? I wonder - would we benefit MORE from someone who was in the poor class, so that way, we can ALL benefit? But no - forge the poor - they aren't part of the problem, they're the dirt to clean up later. The rich are the problem - although his new plan is... well... you'll see:

Enact a Windfall Profits Tax to Provide a $1,000 Emergency Energy Rebate to American Families:
Barack Obama will enact a windfall profits tax on excessive oil company profits to give American families an immediate $1,000 emergency energy rebate to help families pay rising bills. This relief would be a down payment on Obama's long-term plan to provide middle-class families with at least $1,000 per year in permanent tax relief.
FACT: NOBODY READS what this man has to say - otherwise, someone would have tried to eat him by now. An immediate, $1000 emergency rebate - to THOSE who qualify by cutting into oil companies, increasing gas prices and doing nothing to control the rising prices offered by power companies who can now pocket their $1000 bucks and raise prices, hiding behind the rebate. And, of course - this rebate - which isn't really to us - as it is a TAX to help jumpstart the economy (um, really - is anyone home out there?), is part of the down payment to the GOVERNMENT to build a long-term fund to make a $1000 kicker. Betcha the rich aren't going to fund this - so I guess that leaves.. the middle class, who will then, be essentially, getting nothing for giving the same amount, and the poor who will lose overall.

Provide $50 billion to Jumpstart the Economy and Prevent 1 Million Americans from Losing Their Jobs: This relief would include a $25 billion State Growth Fund to prevent state and local cuts in health, education, housing, and heating assistance or counterproductive increases in property taxes, tolls or fees. Obama’s relief plan will also include $25 billion in a Jobs and Growth Fund to prevent cutbacks in road and bridge maintenance and fund school repair - all to save more than 1 million jobs in danger of being cut.
FACT: YOU NEED TO READ THIS CAREFULLY. $50 billion - in MORE taxes. half goes to states - that's $20 billion (no - NOT $25 once Federal overhead is accounted for), to 50 states, meaning $4 billion per state. Is that the issue in health, education, housing, assistance or added property taxes? Nope. That will touch the tip of most icebergs, property taxes will still rise along with this tax - and we're really in trouble. But - there's hope! The other $25 billion is to prevent job cuts to.. um... what? Road and bridge maintenance and school repair? Isn't the Department of Transportation, a government funded business in charge of roads and bridges? So - it's saving the government money - costing us and saving jobs for government employees - not us? Wow - segregation has reached an all-time high. How about shool repairs? I'm pretty sure, that's not the biggest of issues - but funding chidlren always makes people look good. Of course - that's USING children for personal gain - but he's a candidate for President, so it's okay, right? After that $20 billion is broken down with a heavy side going to the government, the schools will see a little, and prevailing wage jobs will see a lot. Thank goodness we ALL work for the road department and are in commercial construction!

Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.
FACT: Forgetting the losses from his health care program - that income tax money has to come from somewhere. So - the other classes pay for it. How AWESOME! This isn't a kicker, either - don't be fooled. This is a reduction in the amount you have to pay - if you're a 'working,' family and qualify, not a middle class family with special conditions... hmmm?

Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.
FACT: 150 million americans getting the tax relief they need versus 10 million americans not paying income tax DOESN'T COMPUTE. I have no more to say on this - if you can't read this and see the problem - you're too rich, too dumb - a government official - or something else I won't say because it's too crude!

Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000: Barack Obama will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This proposal will eliminate income taxes for 7 million seniors and provide these seniors with an average savings of $1,400 each year. Under the Obama plan, 27 million American seniors will also not need to file an income tax return.
FACT: Obama is a SAINT! After all, we know about ALL THOSE old folks who are making bank on their social security! WOOHOO! Wait, um - no they aren't! And, where in the heck does this money come from? Well, I see - it will eliminate taxes for 7 million seniors. So, out of the 85 million + seniors in the country - 7 million just got a complete break. Guess he was thinking of his parents for this one! Of course, 27 million other seniors won't need to file a tax return because they're so dang poor, he'll finally quit draining them into impoverishment. Now, those bed-ridden seniors in homes who can't move can finally quit eating only pudding and not what the other get because their money won't go to feed the government! I wonder though - without taxing the middle class, or seniors.. where is all this money coming from? Let's move on, shall we?

Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans:
Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.
FACT: Barack Obama is from Mars - because he doesn't operate within the functionality of reality that is EARTH! No - no - we are NOT being mean here. We are being factual. We are NOT saying that we will move to a simplified form - we will move to a pre-filled out form by the IRS - who operates in sheer perfection and without ANY error, via his new on-line, electronic filing system that stays under one, singular, government control and monitors all communications, to save us up to 200 million total hours of the aggravation cause by whom... the IRS and their current system of complicating everything and messing it all up. Thank goodness, those people that have been paying out $2 billion in tax preparer fees won't have to anymore. From now on, the tax accountants are going to be without jobs, not part of the job-saving program and you won't get to take advantage of every possible deduction or out you have for the government to take what THEY want. (of course.. 200 million total hours is spread across 220 million adults, meaning less than 1 hour per person - to give up complete control the savior - Obama-son!)

Fight for Fair Trade: Obama will fight for a trade policy that opens up foreign markets to support good American jobs. He will use trade agreements to spread good labor and environmental standards around the world and stand firm against agreements like the Central American Free Trade Agreement that fail to live up to those important benchmarks. Obama will also pressure the World Trade Organization to enforce trade agreements and stop countries from continuing unfair government subsidies to foreign exporters and nontariff barriers on U.S. exports.
FACT: Good American jobs - abroad? How is this an economy issue if he is spreading labor and environmental standards around the world? Oh, I see - we won't buy from those really cheap-o countries that use forced labor! HA HA! We'll spend tax payer money to ignore them, increase the cost of goods by bringins it here to America and then increase taxes again to fight for our overseas trade and force our way into other countries. That's liberalism and Democracy for you in its purest form! Well, that is - if liberalism and Democracy looked more like Communism and an empire.

Improve Transition Assistance: To help all workers adapt to a rapidly changing economy, Obama would update the existing system of Trade Adjustment Assistance by extending it to service industries, creating flexible education accounts to help workers retrain, and providing retraining assistance for workers in sectors of the economy vulnerable to dislocation before they lose their jobs.
FACT: If you aren't reading this and you find yourself standing in the street unemployed - too late. Did you understand this? His new plan WILL cause tens of millions of Americans to become vulnerable to lost jobs. We fix this by retraining everybody for all the jobs we're going to eliminate. That should only require an additional $120 billion or so - thank goodness the tax breaks will exempt certain classes....

End Tax Breaks for Companies that Send Jobs Overseas: Barack Obama believes that companies should not get billions of dollars in tax deductions for moving their operations overseas. Obama will also fight to ensure that public contracts are awarded to companies that are committed to American workers.
FACT: Wouldn't it be neat to live in a world where the government was stupid enough to send away American jobs, and then, try to rectify it by no longer offering them 'tax breaks.' I'm sure that will hurt.. um.. nobody. And thank goodness there are going to be public contracts to American only countries. That's the way to ensure that an elite, select group, just as it is now, continues to get those contracts.

Invest in our Next Generation Innovators and Job Creators:
Obama will create an Advanced Manufacturing Fund to identify and invest in the most compelling advanced manufacturing strategies. The Fund will have a peer-review selection and award process based on the Michigan 21st Century Jobs Fund, a state-level initiative that has awarded over $125 million to Michigan businesses with the most innovative proposals to create new products and new jobs in the state.
FACT: Sorry charlie, unless you're one of the 'cool,' guys in the green sector - this doesn't mean you. Don't get excited.

Invest In A Clean Energy Economy And Create 5 Million New Green Jobs: Obama will invest $150 billion over 10 years to advance the next generation of biofuels and fuel infrastructure, accelerate the commercialization of plug-in hybrids, promote development of commercial scale renewable energy, invest in low emissions coal plants, and begin transition to a new digital electricity grid. The plan will also invest in America's highly-skilled manufacturing workforce and manufacturing centers to ensure that American workers have the skills and tools they need to pioneer the first wave of green technologies that will be in high demand throughout the world.
FACT: Money doesn't drop magically from the sky. $150 BILLION? For biofuels? Folks - I'm in that industry - and the government spends globs of money on research, time, research, time, research, and then when it comes down to it - um, sometimes a project or two. And, what kind of research? Let's see - the renewable energies industry is already solid - so, maybe we should check and see if wood burns in a fire place more effeciently than out in the open. Think that sounds stupid? Don't. Several states have funded this research with YOUR tax dollars ALREADY! Hybrids. Well - solve the gas crises by supporting an industry of $56,000+ cars that only the higher middle class can afford, give them to the government, forge the rest of the country, and, oh yeah - the electric companies make bank on a new grid that we DON'T need. And, of course - again - no dude, this isn't you. You have to be the HIGHLY skilled workforce to get the added training to create green technologies for the... wait... world? What about helping America? Something's strange...

Create New Job Training Programs for Clean Technologies:
The Obama plan will increase funding for federal workforce training programs and direct these programs to incorporate green technologies training, such as advanced manufacturing and weatherization training, into their efforts to help Americans find and retain stable, high-paying jobs. Obama will also create an energy-focused youth jobs program to invest in disconnected and disadvantaged youth.
FACT: Whenever you see some neat, new idea that includes 'Youth,' beware! This is using our sympathies for children for his gain - meaning that his efforts aren't completely on the up and up. Let's see - a federal workforce.... not public... hmm... green technologies to be incorporated, not focused on - meaning government controlled power companies... for the public to find and retain stable, high paying jobs. But, aren't government jobs funded by the public? How does ... that ... work? No public jobs - no gvt. jobs?

Barack Obama believes that it is critically important for the United States to rebuild its national transportation infrastructure – its highways, bridges, roads, ports, air, and train systems – to strengthen user safety, bolster our long-term competitiveness and ensure our economy continues to grow.
FACT: These are government jobs. This is money for the government. This does not improve our safety. These tasks are multi billion to multi trillion dollar tasks. Here's the goofy part - this ensures our economy grows because of rebuilding all the roads? Um.. what? why? Aren't we constantly maintaining them now? How does this bolster 'our' competitiveness? With whom? Who are we competing with - not fully knowing who 'we' are in the first place - that new roads will make us better than them? What happens if we win? If we lose? Make no mistake - I have researched this topic - and it will cost us severely. Try to look up the maglev train projects - for instance, in the Pacific Northwest - and see how many hundreds of billions this takes for one state. Then, you'll get the tip of the iceberg.

Barack Obama will increase federal support for research, technology and innovation for companies and universities so that American families can lead the world in creating new advanced jobs and products.
FACT: YES! More money for more college students to find neat, new ways of doing things. Not too many new ways that the worker at McDonalds can serve that burger though. I suppose they won't mind paying for this though...

Invest in the Sciences: Barack Obama supports doubling federal funding for basic research and changing the posture of our federal government from being one of the most anti-science administrations in American history to one that embraces science and technology. This will foster home-grown innovation, help ensure the competitiveness of US technology-based businesses, and ensure that 21st century jobs can and will grow in America.
FACT: Let me tell you this is a bald-face lie. We are not anti-science. Our colleges are doing awesome. We do NOT support the little guy who may or may not have a good idea. Back-yard inventors, the kinds that have REALLY changed this nation, are being pushed away. This is because of federal policy. His increase in business funding - does NOT fix this, offer an education that will get these companies to listen to the back yard inventors and is VERY dangerous. It takes money for what will be known as black-box projects that we will never see. Conspiracy? no - it actually says otherwise if you read it carefully.

Deploy Next-Generation Broadband: Barack Obama believes we can get broadband to every community in America through a combination of reform of the Universal Service Fund, better use of the nation's wireless spectrum, promotion of next-generation facilities, technologies and applications, and new tax and loan incentives.
FACT: This is expensive. Broadband really isn't the problem - the problem is that the government plans on doing this by taking full control of a centralized location for this. After all - how do you think his health care reform package, centralizing the nation's medical information would otherwise, be supported? Better use of the wireless spectrum? Well - that WOULD be nice. But, spending more money or giving cause for companies like Sprint to build new technology buildings means that its already garbage customer service - GETS WORSE!

Provide Tax Relief for Small Businesses and Start Up Companies: Barack Obama will eliminate all capital gains taxes on start-up and small businesses to encourage innovation and job creation. Obama will also support small business owners by providing a $500 “Making Work Pay” tax credit to almost every worker in America. Self-employed small business owners pay both the employee and the employer side of the payroll tax, and this measure will reduce the burdens of this double taxation
FACT: Now the middle class is getting $1000 per person for those involved in this. But, Obama has finally fixed the double taxation issue! Now - the employee and business no longer BOTH pay on payroll taxes! The business alone pays BOTH their share and the employee's share! Wait.. hold up, maybe I'm wrong here, but something seems amiss. If both taxes are still being paid, isn't that.. double taxation - still? I wonder.. if Barack said one of the problems is stagnant wage increases, how businesses will be able to increase wages if their paying BOTH taxes? I also wonder - if wages won't be forcibly dropped after 3 years of this program? Think it's still cool to vote for Barack Obama?
IT'S DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS TO EVERYONE.

Create a National Network of Public-Private Business Incubators: Barack Obama will support entrepreneurship and spur job growth by creating a national network of public-private business incubators. Business incubators facilitate the critical work of entrepreneurs in creating start-up companies. Obama will invest $250 million per year to increase the number and size of incubators in disadvantaged communities throughout the country.
FACT: Don't be confused by the word incubators - it really does mean middle man that supports the government, and has limited funds to the entrepreneurs. That $250 million a year - isn't for the entrepreneurs - re read it - it's for the middle men. Sheesh. This is too stupid to have even said! What's wrong with this man?

Obama will strengthen the ability of workers to organize unions. He will fight for passage of the Employee Free Choice Act. Obama will ensure that his labor appointees support workers' rights and will work to ban the permanent replacement of striking workers. Obama will also increase the minimum wage and index it to inflation to ensure it rises every year.
FACT: Now we're really hitting the nail on the head! More unions! YES - that SO HELPED THIS COUNTRY the first time the government did this. Of course.. what it did, was help us into tremendous debt and unemployment. Wanna know more? Go ask Lee Iacoca! What an idiot. We need to abolish unions that belong to say (for example) - the police workforce, that SUCK OUR POCKETS dry with too many cops - too many dirty cops and a nation in fear! Go unions. I thought he was a liberal? I thought he was intelligent and knew .. oh.. maybe .. SOMETHING about history! How about this - quit screwing us with union garbage - taking MORE from our wages, and create workplace laws that WORK - and governing authorities that FUNCTION! Oh yeah - and he'll increase the minimum wage. Thank goodness for all those businesses paying both theirs and their employees payroll taxes.
Still gonna vote? Then you're a college student with the I.Q. of a squirrel and you're more into what's cool, than what works.

Obama will crack down on fraudulent brokers and lenders. He will also make sure homebuyers have honest and complete information about their mortgage options, and he will give a tax credit to all middle-class homeowners.
FACT: Usually, only the middle class can afford to buy homes - so this, again, REALLY dumps on the poor. I wonder, how a democrat who supports welfare, made it this far without his party burning him? Oh yes - honest and complete information about mortgage options? I see - so - don't lie, show them that if they don't pay, they're screwed. Um, so - what's different? The government sets the rates and can control it - so DO something right, don't displace the blame!

Create a Universal Mortgage Credit:
Obama will create a 10 percent universal mortgage credit to provide homeowners who do not itemize tax relief. This credit will provide an average of $500 to 10 million homeowners, the majority of whom earn less than $50,000 per year.
FACT: Sounds neat, until you realize the credit of $500 million comes out of other pockets. But, ONLY to those who accept the IRS pre-filled out tax sheet you sign and agree to - not those who seek to itemize their tax relief and not pay exorbitant taxes.

Obama will establish a five-star rating system so that every consumer knows the risk involved in every credit card. He also will establish a Credit Card Bill of Rights to stop credit card companies from exploiting consumers with unfair practices.
FACT: Obama doesn't have credit card debt, lest he not say something this stupid. Sorry to be so upset folks, but there's no nice way to say this. So - now, credit card companies have to list the risks... you mean.. all that small writing no one reads and an additional 50 sheets of paper in the mail and 20 minutes on the phone for the operator to read through the fine print? Okay.. pointless.. but whatever. Ah, a bill of rights.. .let's see that work!

Establish a Credit Card Bill of Rights to Protect Consumers: Obama will create a Credit Card Bill of Rights to protect consumers. The Obama plan will:
  • Ban Unilateral Changes
  • Apply Interest Rate Increases Only to Future Debt
  • Prohibit Interest on Fees
  • Prohibit "Universal Defaults"
  • Require Prompt and Fair Crediting of Cardholder Payments
FACT: This is the FIRST good thing I've read. Unfortunately, it doesn't cap the ceiling on interest which will now increase - thus the laws on disclosure. See how that works? At least there's no interest on fees... only the money you owe - so expect that to be higher. It wasn't that issue which was hurting the people in the first place, it was the fees. This no longer seems to be so awesome, but still - decent.

Cap Outlandish Interest Rates on Payday Loans and Improve Disclosure: Obama supports extending a 36 percent interest cap to all Americans. Obama will require lenders to provide clear and simplified information about loan fees, payments and penalties, which is why he'll require lenders to provide this information during the application process.
FACT: Inclusive in this is a plan to stop all those unscrupulous lenders that lead to bankruptcy. Thank goodness 36% is the cap - cause, after all, owing $100 bucks means I only owe an additional $36, the first month. Then the next. Then the next. - um, somehow - at a $200,000 home loan - this doesn't seem to belong in the bankruptcy assitance programs but the 'another way to help business and take from the people' section!

Obama will double funding for after-school programs, expand the Family Medical Leave Act, provide low-income families with a refundable tax credit to help with their child-care expenses, and encourage flexible work schedules.
FACT: We need it, we have it, we have it, and it exists. Hmm... wow - this was.. pointless?

In conclusion:
Complain about the rich and how Bush did nothing about their tax breaks - and then do nothing as well. Get upset and give the middle class more tax breaks to make it more 'fair.' DON'T do anything for the poor, because we need money to keep coming in from somewhere. Increase jobs and spending (and thus taxation for everyone), but make it for only an elite group. Encourage more honesty in lending by spending MORE billions of dollars of tax money, but do nothing to assist with lending or housing using that same money. Encourage unions, higher wages, more time off, but somehow make this equate to businesses being able to afford it with 'tax cuts.'

Essentially - he's acting half Republican, but screwing it up by being a Democrat - and we see why bi-partisan matters should be handled by two, separate parties, not one idiot... er, um, person! His goals are as realistic and effective as the term 'quality television....!'

Next article: Education. He has a lot of good ideas, has addressed failures in the previous programs (like no child left behind) - but are these goals realistic?

Strange Bedfellows: Capitalism and Democracy

There is a false belief that Capitalism begets Democracy. This belief is based on the principals that growing nations (currently, what we see as Asian, third world countries such as singapore, and even larger countries such as russia), will create a 'middle class,' whereby the class system will demand greater freedoms and rights leading to a Democracy. While this may appear, at face value to hold some validity, in practice, it is not a reasonable belief. Democracy has never been based on a class system. The foundations of Democracy rely entirely on a representation of the masses, from rich to poor. Democratic decisions which favor one class over the other, or garnish the votes of one class over the other, do not represent the principals of Democracy.

Take for instance, the recent law (in Oregon), where insurance companies were no longer to be allowed the right to use credit reports to offer some people discounts, and would have to stop discriminating against others. Had this been a Democracy, the bill would have passed unquestioned because that meant a fair system of cost for each person, and qualifications for increases to insurance would be based on a historical basis, putting all people into the same, level, playing field. That is equality and fairness in its purest example. Instead, it was voted down by a majority of voters. These voters were discovered to be the wealthier class. In fact, commercials were broadcast prior to the election that spouted lies, supported by the wealthier individuals of this State claiming that it put an unfair burden on the wealthy to share the overall burdens of insurance costs. What was not stated, was that their discounts, rely upon the poor to pick up the slack and be burdened with the costs that the wealthy don't have to pay. One politician sought to endorse Democracy and make this a level playing field, while private enterprise commanded the results of the election. Looking to third world countries such as Singapore and India, an other countries we mustn't forget several facts:

That the funding of additional education for their youth has come from American, tax-payer dollars, and it is we, not they, who have sacrificed the education of our own children to send 100's of millions of dollars to students overseas to fund their education.
  1. It is contracts made with American Companies that undercut the American payroll to offer a far, lower rate to the overseas people (such as call center help for Dell, or loan callback agents with First Union Bank); whereby the companies offering overseas jobs qualify as the grant winners of monies that come from tax-payer dollars.
  2. Other countries such as England and France which exist in a capitalist-type economy don't have a Democracy, but operate under Kings, Queens and a parliamental system.
Others make excuses for capitalism, such as the following excerpt:

Capitalism is the only moral political system because it is the only system dedicated to the protection of rights, which is a requirement for human survival and flourishing. This is the only proper role of a government. Capitalism should be defended vigorously on a moral basis, not an economic or utilitarian basis.

This definition goes only so far in varying, economic conditions. One example is that it works up until the point that taxation leads to the prevention of ownerships of property such as taxation creates a, 'rental,' situation in which property can be taken by the government should one fail to pay their taxes; and morality is sacrificed. I refer to this article by Andrew P, written for EnergyGrid, in which Democracy is placed in its proper context:

It is very easy to assume, because every few years we vote for our choice of government, that we live in a Democracy. After all, the definition of Democracy is a form of society in which the supreme power is vested collectively in the people, and this is primarily exercised by free choice of government. But, although the form of our society still seems democratic, and although we still go through all the same democratic rituals, there is a very worrying trend of power migrating from the people to big business. Democracy is eroding as our leaders, more concerned about controlling society and pleasing their paymasters - the corporations - turn their backs on the interests of ordinary people. (read the rest here)

The main component of Capitalism that challenges Democracy is: Wealth. Capitalism is the system whereby each and every person may work toward the goal of bettering themselves financially for the purpose of moving up in social and financial status. The underlying, human mechanism that poisons this growth is known as greed. Wealth is not obtained through the fabrication of resources from thin air, but from the work done by one class to support another class. And, as the scales tip downward for the rich, they tip upward for the poor. Democracy is born not from Capitalism creating a middle class that demands their fair share, but perhaps it is better stated to be a by-product of Capitalism due to a greater separation of socio-economic classes in which enough of the poor, demanding fair representation, must be heard due to overwhelming numbers. Democracy is not born from an economy, but war. However, in their purest forms, one cannot exist with the other. Capitalism which can be governed by greed, exist as a socialist standard or a bartering system without a government, cannot support a standard of equal rights for all individuals.

In the beginning of the USA, maybe it appears as if Democracy's roots were embedded in the principals of a trade/barter system. However, do not forget that it was greed and selfishness that brought us to this country, took the land away from its native inhabitants, and then relied on slavery and endentured servitude to lay the foundation for American economics. Democracy is doomed to fail in the presence of Capitalism. This happens when the private corporations of America mold the lawmaking process and when the Government no longer represents the masses or protects their interests, but creates punishments that lead to the wealth of the Government. For example, the seat belt law: This law does not affect anyone else. A person is not a better or worse driver or a greater or lesser risk to others because they do or do not wear, a seatbelt (the argument, everytime against those who disagree with me - is busses; especially, schoolbusses). The law is nothing more than the Government abusing its power to increase income. Yes, I know the argument that it is far more expensive for the taxpayers when a person is hurt without a seatbelt and more resources have to be spent transporting that person. What I don't buy in that story, is why 16 cop cars arrived for one person hitting another, one ambulence, two tow trucks, and 10 of the 16 officers standing around and doing nothing for the entirety of the accident. Money is wasted and it is a Capitalist-type law. When the government makes laws that support the 3 credit reporting bureaus and checksystems as methods to control an individual's life (their job, ability to have shelter, food, transportation and many, other factors); and leave it in the hands of private enterprise, thereby endorsing that we [the people of America], are to answer to private corporations who thrive on their lust for wealth, then the money makes the rules - and America Government is now acting, Capitalist.

It is a growing concern, nationwide, that our Government is moving farther and farther away from the people. That their political campaigns are skewed and poorly done, that it's become obvious that they are merely for show, to hide the truth behind them. No true Democracy can survive, for those who seek wealth, seek power. They know that power will further endorse their wealth. Thus, those who have gotten into positions of political power in this country are either corrupted, or will be soon.... The two opposites do not make for very good bedfellows.
