Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! pt. 1

[This is a 4-part article covering the recent news coverage on the Health Care reform package and is not comprehensive on ALL the issues. If you read this through to the end, you will see that I list a course of action to take to help put a stop to this bill, and explain throughout, why it should be stopped and under what misleading pretenses the Left is attempting to push this through!]

Yes, President Obama will be bringing forth his pitch for health care reform to the people once again, this time, in a State suffering from tremendously high levels of uninsured citizens. And, yes, YOU, the people, will once again be given an opportunity to hear the, "real," issues and put forth your voices! Once again, we the people, of this Democracy known as the United States of America, shall be empowered once more!

Oh wait... wrong story. I forgot, we get NO say in this - at all. It's now: "Obama vs. Congress vs. the People," and he wants to pressure leaders in Congress to go along with his plan (at least the 60 or so who are still standing up to him), or otherwise, appear as the, "bad guys," in front of the people and not get voted in next year (while he retains his office for another 3 years). Sorry - my bad - I apologize in advance. I, 'sort of,' forgot that it's not about the people or what we want, but using scare tactics and lies to force the people into drastic action - like sheep - for the politicians. Sort of reminiscent of those by-gone days, where the ancient Greek Gods would war with one another, and the people were just their pawns and in their way. Funny, I thought America was a country of people, not politicians - I guess that's just not the case - but I digress.

The reform will now cut the budget from the apparently, current cost of $2.4 trillion down to a mere, $900 billion, will take away the impositions against businesses to force-fund the program and relieve those with insurance from added tax debts. Additionally, it will increase the number of people covered to 95%, eliminating things like, 'pre-existing,' conditions, and co-pays for 'basic,' services; eliminate 'government run health care and create co-ops for the people to decide, while easing the tax burdens on the wealthy.

Yeah - hah - hahahahaha - no... wait for it.... wait.... yep - hahahahahaha! Okay - let's weed through this, shall we? Bloomberg AP News reports: Health care as it is now is getting really, REALLY expensive. If the government doesn't curb it - it's going to bankrupt the people!! But, some don't agree - they think the health care reform posed by Obama will cause a greater deficit and hurt the people more. Okay... sounds reasonable - two sides to the argument, right? The Hill reports: that the currently proposed reform to Obama's plan, being headed up by Senator Baucus(D), will reduce the costs to $900 billion, maintain 95% coverage (except to 'undocumented,' illegal aliens... vs. the 'documented,' illegal aliens who WILL be covered), and reduce the national deficit over a 10-year period. Senator Konrad (D) stated that he knows of 12 million people that are already positioned to sign up for co-op run plans! And, a committee will be established to find additional ways to cap medicare pay-outs and spending, in addition to the billions in cuts proposed, to help reduce the national deficit! Medical News Today reported that: the cut in spending on 'undocumented,' immigrants, makes up about 98% of the 50 million who would not be covered by this health care reform (47 mil). The [May] article in Medical News Today also quoted Sen. Baucus as saying that he is opting for business paid health exchange and a government run health care option. Senator John Kerry (D) stated that taxing the rich is senseless as it raises too little money, but you can't tax the working class because that would interefere in business success.

This blogroll on the ABC News website discussed the amazing fact that Congress is now seeking public congrats for having actually read Obama's health reform bill. My Central Oregon.com reports that: dependent coverage will be extended to age 26, a removal for 'denial,' of pre existing conditions for insurance, policies with premiums paid in full must be renewed, and gender biases would be stopped. Lawmakers will knock an additional $35 million out of medicare to help lessen the overall expense of this reform, and, the uninsured won't begin to see changes until 2013, with full coverage to those uninsured not being realized until 2018.

Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! pt. 2

Now - with ALL that said - with all those issues laid out before you - the people who get to decide (no.. not vote.. don't be silly, this is America! We don't vote here! We just push Congress and threaten them with their jobs and not voting for them because we're a Democracy, duhh!!), let's break this down to REALITY:

1. The current cost of $2.4 trillion will be lessened to $900 billion. FACT: If you READ the article, you might notice that it is the current population of America, WITH health insurance, paying that $2.4 trillion - not Uncle Sam. Their health care reform is supposed to somehow lessen YOUR direct costs, while funny enough - the media/White House keeps reporting that we should be concerned about this health care reform because of the 'costs,' that will have to be charged in taxes. So.. wait? Are they lowering your $2.4 trillion by paying for the $2,399,100,000,000 ($2.39 trillion) in tax dollars? How does that 'offset,' your costs? Are they going to 'force,' health insurance companies into charging less? I suppose that's where their 'incentives,' options come in - but those incentives options STILL include our taxes - so, somehow, I think we've got the White House intentionally mixing apples with oranges and confuse the issues to make YOU think like they're lowering the overall tax deficit - when that's NOT true. So, were two sides of the story reported on? Those who think this will increase the deficit and those who don't? Yep - but the bridge between the two realities of a $2.4 trillion dollar, consumer-paid, private insurance bill and a $900 billion dollar government funding plan - was not gapped. In fact, when you listen to Obama talk, he refers to the previous administration (Republican), as being responsible for your $2.4 trillion dollar price tag on insurance and how he, as a (Democrat), will curb that. Sad as it is - he's not only trying to confuse the two issues, the President, and several others in Washington, are using the confusion as a battle-ground!!??

2. A Co-Op insurance option. A co-op was suggested at a government-paid (ahem.. tax payer paid) price-tag $6 billion. THAT would be on of those 'gaps,' that needs crossing. Have you ever HAD a co-op or been in a co-op, like a CC&R or power company? Is there any great 'savings,' there? I'm not talking the 'amount,' of the bill - I'm talking about the savings - because it doesn't exist. So, there's your $2.4 trillion, with an additional tax deficit of $6 billion on top of it already!

3. Eliminating 'pre existing conditions,' as ground for denial. Well, if you'll read about pre existing conditions and insurance as they currently stand, you'll see the 'real,' problem isn't denial - it's the added costs to those with this issue. And, in fact, when you read through the articles in the last post, you'll see that little, 'one-liner,' note in there. This bill does NOT deal with the current problem of added costs for pre existing conditions. In fact, this is a worthless addition to the bill designed to be propoganda intended to 'distract,' you.

4. No co-pays for basic services. Yes, that's right. For mammograms, check-ups, and other, preventative care visits, you'll pay no co-pay. Of course, that's REALLY going to help curb that increasing insurance premium, right? After all - no copays means the insurance company picks up the ENTIRE tab, right? HAHAHAHA - sure - that'll lessen your premiums.

5. Covering 95% of the uninsured. Yes, I know I detailed this in part already, but I'll repeat it here because... it's funny! Senator Baucus, seemingly the new spokesperson for this 'sub-reform-reform,' has stated that it's Washington's belief that they can cover up to 95% of the people who are currently uninusured! But, they're still working on a way to handle the undocumented illegal immigrants, because they won't be covered. So - 50 million by this new reform (seemingly, the 5% who won't be covered by the reform), consists of: 47 million undocumented, illegal immigrants. Forgive me if my math is wrong, but that means that 94% of the people who won't be covered by this health care extension include the 'undocumented,' illegal immigrants who will already NOT be covered by this health care plan, while the 6% may... or may not... include the 'documented,' illegal immigrants. Maybe I'm just stretching here.. but the current 95% coverage WILL cover the documented, illegal immigrants... who are, "illegal," and the 6% not covered will be American Citizens, that as Sen. Baucus states: are amongst those you can "always find," who won't qualify under this new plan. Aren't we back to apples and oranges and misleading information again? Isn't this 95% coverage for uninsured folks, talking about only leaving out, for the most part, undocumented, illegal immigrants? How much of a 'stretch,' is that - in reality?

Hmm... somehow, this still seems a bit shady. I think there's something more to this story, don't you?

Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! pt. 3

(continuing on from the last post)

6. Senator Kerry (D), has emphasized his support of not taxing the wealthy, because that would just not cover the bill. Wait? didn't we just go over the 'bill,' and the $2.4 trillion consumer paid vs. the $900 billion government paid? Sorry.. my head's spinning. Listening to the left spin their garbage out of Congress and into the streets can do that sometimes. Inversely, Sen. Kerry wants us to be careful about lowering the tax bracket of who pays for this bill too far, becasue we could interefere with employer businesses if the lower-class have to start paying. That is to say, he supports taxing the businesses, but if we tax the people and the businesses who can no longer afford to keep people on staff because of their dramatic increases in taxes per person, we'd be double taxing and inevitably causing an increase in unemployment. Oops.. I meant.. he 'inferred,' that - he didn't say it. My bad. Of course - he and Senator Konrad plan on supporting co-ops because white house studies show 12 million people currently in support of it. What 12 million people? What sector? It seems to me that if we shouldn't "lower," that tax bracket too far - that the 'lower,' tax bracket will NOT be the ones supporting the co-ops. (As a side note - let's also not forget many of these Senators are in that wealthy tax bracket who will pay out... AND... they are business owners - which it sounds like Sen. Kerry has covered his backside on both issues!).

7. Insurance companies who have been paid must provide insurance! Well, THIS was an awesome addition to the bill, don't you think? After all, this hits right to the heart of the issue, doesn't it? Okay, sarcasm aside - yes - THIS is a DISTRACTION, that out of 4,000 pages, was NOT newsworthy, but it's what the Congress and White House offered the people. Sure - they've read the bill. Was it to show the American people that they care and necessary to help 'sell,' the bill? No, and yes. It wasn't to show they cared, it was to find out what 'highlights,' they could offer the media and the public to 'appease,' us, while not discussing the 'other,' major issues.

8. Uninsured will begin receiving coverage in 2013! Yes, AFTER the next election. What a WONDERFUL way to wrap people up into voting for... well.. not those 'horrifying,' Republicans that opposed this bill! After all - you're all about to receive benefits thanks to Obama and the Democratic party! Do you really, REALLY, want to vote Republican and give ALL that up? Sure... and not everyone gets benefits until 2018. What a way to REALLY play this issue out. Didn't see it, yet? Let me 'splain: This $900 billion to be spent, will be "drug," out - including medicare payouts and the currently existing medicare program, to not really 'work,' until mid 2015. That means, that it will only cost about $450 billion by then (yes - assuming those numbers were accurate - which they aren't). That way, come election time, it looks like they've been saving the budget because the deficit's not as high, and JUST LIKE THE STIMULUS, they've "issued," the monies - but NOT spent the monies - and so they haven't had to "dramatically," raise taxes. Instead, the increase will be slow and steady over time where it won't "really," be felt for 5 or 6 more years and you won't "really," feel that pinch until then. But, make no mistake: If you buy something for $1000.00 - you OWE a $1000.00. AND - if you SPAN out your amortization on the "loan," you took out to buy that item, your interest will be HIGHER! So - that $1000, rather than costing $1400 in a 3 or 4 year payoff, will cost $2000 in the 6 year payoff, but by the third/fourth year, you will have only "seen," a $1,000 go out the door - and it will look GREAT on paper! Anyone who's EVER leased ANYTHING - will know about this - whether your lease was great or a pain. It's basic math, it's deceptive - it's LYING! YOU'RE going to PAY MORE - so THEY can look LESS like bad guys they really are! I'll remind you of this in 2012, if I'm still around - when this comes true.

9. Medicare cuts and caps will help curb the $2.4 trillion to $900 billion. I've saved this "special," issue for the end for a very, good reason: Medicare cuts of $35 million dollars, 'squeezing,' the system "after" they've cut billions out of it that well.. you know.. pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... ANYWAY - the committee (that will cost us), to arrange these cuts, will save us $2.39 trillion dollars! YAY!! Um... wait.. wasn't that $2.4 trillion what people currently, privately pay for insurance and has nothing to do with government spending? How will $35 million save $2.39 trillion? How will $35 million in addition to hundreds of billions, save $2.39 trillion? HOW WILL CUTTING Medicare INCREASE fair insurance to everyone?

Hold on - something's not right? (see why I saved this one?) Holy Medicare Premiums Batman - the math isn't working??!! Neither is the logic.. boy wonder!!

Health Care Reform - YOU Decide! finale

Guess what? If you've been reading this little series on the current news media and reports from Washington on Health Care, you "might," be hanging onto your head.. or at least your seat right now, trying to understand what just happened to you.

Congress 'READ,' the Bill! They put their hard time and effort into it just for you! They did it so that they could either increase their ability to 'sell,' you on it, or raise concerns to Legislature that will really, really hit home and make sure this is the right bill for us.

Yeah... and I'm actually a good writer. HAHAHAHAHA.

Let's be real:
In May of 2009, Senator Baucus, the now self-proclaimed spokesperson for this bill and the leader of the sub-reform reform bill intended to sway the rest of Congress, said: We need businesses to bear this burden! We need an insurance health exchange! We need a government-run health care option!

Today, Senator Baucus - the same one - who is supposedly "reforming," the health care bill, is saying: we shouldn't burden businesses. What health exchange? Let's do a co-op! And, don't be silly, a government run health care option would be pointless. Don't worry, I'll make sure that 95% of the people without insurance get it!

Thank goodness. Thank goodness that a man who has consistency, integrity, honesty and high-moral values is in charge of our reform. Thank goodness Obama's going to a state to speak to people suffering without health insurance to pass his bill. And, thank goodness everyone in Congress took the time to read that 4,000 page bill, because they were told to vote before their "1-month, vacation," which has now been postponed until September - in which they'll do NOTHING during August.

Yechth! Sorry - have to wash out my mouth for spitting out all that garbage! Folks, I've made brief references to the health care bill, explaining the current system needs reformed and the logistics behind that. However, the Democrats (and again, I hate taking "sides," but this IS what THEY are doing under President Obama), are now saying: Look - see how much more expensive this is getting by waiting? And, they're now going to wait another month. Why? So they can JACK UP that $900 billion price tag. They're saying that if we don't act "fast," and vote ASAP - that $2.4 trillion current expense will skyrocket! And, guess what - if the reform bill's NOT passed by Congress - Obama, in his special, "private," meetings with AARP, will make sure it HAPPENS! The pressure's on. It's Obama's signature move. It's what he does. He goes to the people so YOU feel empowered, getting you to pressure Congress - to institute a bill which will devastate us - proving that we were NEVER empowered in the first place!

Squeezing medicare costs? Capping medicare payouts? Sure - that'll work. That'll put a hefty burden on medicare patients. And, what about this $335 - $445 billion dollar cut in medicare that's supposed to "lessen," the $2.4 trillion to $900 billion? Oops.. sorry - I'm mixing the same apples and oranges Congress did. Don't want to play that: MISLEAD YOU AND LIE TO YOU game they're playing. Instead, let's address the fact that: they are now talking about preserving your health care rights. So - your $2.4 trillion that is increasing - will continue to increase! Your insurance premiums WILL rise. Why? Well - we're 'capping,' the insurance companies, aren't we? We're controlling 'gender,' biases (which is unlawful in the first place), aren't we? Sure we are - now the gender that insurance thinks is at higher risk can be insured - but it will cost you more. The 26 year old kid's going to cost you more. The lack of co-pays is going to cost you more. The addition of pre-existing/high risk patients will cost you more. The lack of lifetime caps will cost you more. It's impossible NOT to! These are the SAME, EMPTY promises Obama made during his campaign!

I'm going to give you more, give you this, give you that, cut spending in half, and everything's going to be peachy-keen! Are we THAT stupid? *sigh - don't answer... - we know the answer* You can't CAP insurance companies, lessen their rates, and expect them to provide MORE? In truth - what we should be REALLY inflamed about, is that Congress has now claimed to read this bill, and yet, they haven't provided us with answers to explain a drop from $2.4 trillion to $900 billion (yes, apples and oranges - but since they've said it - explain how this 'drop,' in the deficit will occur?). And, uninsured people who get sick or need medicine NOW - CAN'T wait until 2013 when THEY'RE going to be covered.

Hold on - when "they're," going to be covered? I thought Senator Baucus said: No, to government run health care and that private insurance will remain as is with you getting to pay your own bills as it is now? What's this $900 billion for, then? It's not ALL for the 2013 - 2018, 5-year period of covering the uninsured. Is he, lying? Perhaps even, misleading us? Are we getting 6 pages out of the 4,000? YES! The answer to ALL those questions is: YES.

What to do now? "Now's the time for all good men (and women), to come to the aide of their country!" (Charles E. Weller).

Yes - head to the typewriter, the pen and paper - the computer if you must - but get going! Don't just tell Congress - "No - or I'll vote you out of office," tell them: "NO - AND IF YOU DON'T STOP LYING I'M GOING TO VOTE YOU OUT OF OFFICE AND CONTACT THE SUPREME COURT AND ASK WHAT I NEED TO DO TO IMPEACH YOU FOR LYING TO ME."

Okay - a little, "brash," perhaps, but I'll let you refine it however you feel is necessary. Now is the time for action. Now is the time for all of us to stand. You cannot implement government mandated health care controls and restrictions without also making it a 'government,' run, health care system. You cannot determine (in advance), the appropriate and only acceptable treatments for medical problems that doctors may implement or choose from, without making it a government-run medical program. However they're trying to 're-label,' what they're doing, Senator Baucus, in his hopefulness that we're all too stupid to think for ourselves, has done us a favor. You see, he raised the issues in 100% support of Obama, waited for the public outcry and what seemed to be our dilemma, then strategically helped partake in a very well organized plan to 'rework,' the reform to appear as something different while still supporting Obama 100%. He played the propaganda game to the hilt - and if alone - I'd liken him to the skills of Winston Churchill. However, if you don't see it yet, I'll just lightly present this to you: if he's not alone and only a patsy in the bigger scheme of what's going on: the entire Democratic party has run one of history's greatest campaigns since World War II. But, I'll let you decipher that for yourselves. Thanks - and God Bless you all!

Whitewashing the Country-part 1

[note - this is a 'rough' draft 'excerpt' I've worked on, addressing the many ways that explain the downfall of our Great Nation...)

Whitewashing - to cover up or gloss over -

For this entry I submit to you: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain). I submit to you also, that there was an underlying reasoning behind Mr. Clemens producing literature under an alias: he was making a political statement the likes of which was unheard of during his time. You see, for me, Tom Sawyer whitewashing the alley fence is more than just imagery of kids playing tom foolery pranks on one another, but a reflection of the Government and its people. So - let me set the scene for you (characters adjusted to today's political climate):

  • The fence is America: "...compared the insignificant whitewashed streak with the far-reaching continent of unwhitewashed fence.."
  • Tom Sawyer is The new, up and coming Government: The one sent to "cover up," the fence, leaving Tom feeling sad: "...He surveyed the fence, and all gladness left him and a deep melancholy settled down upon his spirit...."
  • Old Missis is the enforcer: "...She say she spec’ Mars Tom gwine to ax me to whitewash, an’ so she tole me go ‘long an’ ‘tend to my own business...."
  • Jim is the poorer working class/Ben the wealthier: "...Jim never got back with a bucket of water under an hour – and even then somebody generally had to go after him.."
  • Aunt Polly is the courts/regulating agencies: "...retiring from the field with a slipper in her hand and triumph in her eye..."

First - remember that Tom Sawyer was produced in 1876, during a time when Hayes was elected President through a very "sketchy" resolution, the National Convention had both parties absolutely divided and slinging mud at one another, slavery was disenfranchised, but black Americans were not yet given freedom and America, recovering from Civil War, was still in a state of turmoil. The problems that existed between parties and regions of peoples were not resolved, but instead, were being "glossed" over. Mark Twain saw the beginning of something disastrous occurring (where I also believe that Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn both represent a portion of the two, separate parties as well). So - with that said (knowing that Clemens did not get to know the disastrous, financially corrupted government of today) - let's see how Tom Sawyer has brought us forward to today's governmental body:

America is in trouble. We can either FIX the problems, or just whitewash over it - which is what we've done. For example, taxes and penalties are called: fees. High unemployment is called change. And, corrupt officials are called our 'best' hope. So, here comes Tom Sawyer ('ol Uncle Sam), lookin' at that Looooonnnngggg fence, realizing just how big of a job this is for just one person (or the handful of governmental agents), and finds himself overwhelmed. Then along comes Jim (the people). The people are the ones who aren't 'eager' to have to rush to bring up the water from the well - it'll get there. They don't care about 'corporate' deadlines or policies - they're just doin' what they're told, because 'ol misses said so. (We all do what we're told we have to do: work - pay taxes. Work - pay taxes). And, Jim's afraid of 'ol misses, cause if'n he don't do what he was tolds to do, 'ol misses is gonna whoop him up something fierce! Hey - wear your seatbelt, cross in cross-walks, don't slander authority!!

But Tom (uncle sam), doesn't like doing the work. And, when they ask for Jim's help he says: No - it's your job - and even if I'd wanted to do your job for you - I'd be in trouble for not doing my own work. But Tom's crafty, you see.... You want freedom? You want protection? You want money to purchase - and Jim says: YES! (to seeing a bandaged toe and letting Tom go down to the river for him). What happens? Well, Aunt Polly, the Courts and regulating agencies comes along and whaps the people out of the way to scold Uncle Sam and get him back to work! He has to "cover up," the underlying problems of America. Then comes along young Ben, and unlike Jim, Ben was eager for new "stuff" and new "things." So, after a bit, Tom hornswaggles the young lad into doing the worked, convinced that it's something he WANTS to do - but - in exchange for his apple. And, this went on and on until Tom went from poor - to the rich kid on the block.

Now - let's play this out in more 'modern,' terms. Sure - there's money - if you consider "IOU's," (which is what American paper/coin currency is worth - an IOU), wealth. But, you see - to have the "privilege," to work - NOT getting the things we have to do in our own homes and lives done, we gotta pay. An apple here, a kite there.... TAXES. Tom made something that was INVALUABLE (paper money), valuable, by learning that the value of an object or task is based upon the difficulty in attaining that object or completing that task. Soon - corporate greed - not in private enterprise, but through government and taxes, creates corrupted officials. It's not just the money - but the authority the government craves. And, if we want things like: FOOD, WATER, AIR, POWER, SHELTER - the BASIC necessities of life - we have to be willing to give up. But, what happens when we give up our apple?

We're hungry. Whitewashing the fence bought me this fake money that has no reward in it and I'm still hungry. So - in turn, the boys play the same game that Tom did (the start of capitalist America), taking from one another. But, Tom's no fool - he's in on EVERY piece of action by eventually saying: hey - I'll let you whitewash this fence for a fee - but in turn - you gotta pay me another fee to let someone else whitewash YOUR fence, and let me charge THEM a fee. And, like blind sheep who are told by the wolf that the grass is greener on the other side - we did it. We kept doing it. Until, eventually, we have doctors and lawyers who charge $200 per hour and up. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS PER HOUR!?!? That makes NO sense!! But, you see - their worth is based on the 'difficulty,' to attain that position. And, unlike the 'older' days, now - only those who have more to give are permitted this privilege. But, because they gave more, they in turn need to charge more. And this DEADLY cycle continues.

Where's ol misses? Well, the enforcers still require the people to follow the rules and need authority. But, Uncle Sam (Tom), has gained control of the authority. So, they too, must give up to Uncle Sam in turn for a piece of that authority - and the birth of law enforcement and the end of freedom falls like a deadly, silent shadow, blanketing the whole of this country. Uncle Sam's still getting his fence whitewashed - still covering up the REAL problems in America - but he's using 'ol misses (aka the cops, fbi, et. al.) to do it for him he has gotten so lazy.

Whitewashing the Country - Part 2

(continued from: Whitewashing the Country - part 2)

So now, not only must you pay Uncle Sam to continue in this unsuccessful, dreaded fashion and not only has it dominated our lives and lead to corruption - we're also paying Uncle Sam's henchmen to be OUR henchmen!!??

"There are wealthy gentlemen in England who drive four-horse passenger-coaches twenty or thirty miles on a daily line, in the summer, because the privilege costs them considerable money; but if they were offered wages for the service, that would turn it into work and then they would resign."

Need more proof of this? How about this: The government lists driving as: a privilege. The government defines working as: a privilege. The government defines voting as: a privilege...

And the government defines freedom as: A privilege. Don't believe it? Government politics, executive information and the like: knowledge of these things is a privilege, not a right, that is why we are not permitted to know these things. In this article, rights vs. privileges are examined and it is quoted in law that: "The servant cannot complain, as he takes the employment on the terms which are offered him."

You can read here how it was the purpose of the Republican party to fight for freedom and abolish slavery. And, today we are seeing just how the left is treating freedom - you can have the blue or green shoes - but at least you get shoes. That's freedom? No. That's the abuse of freedom underneath the same type of tyranny that is used by Kings and monopolies. It's not that I'm saying: Hey, you want protection from the bad guys, you shouldn't have to pay for it.... but, you shouldn't. The bad guys are the ones taking away your freedom in that case, and even if we mount arms against it, we're still losing our freedom under extreme work methods and taxation and what not.

If you don't vote, are you exempt from the rules? Nope - in fact, you're blamed for not voting for a better party. But, if you're in trouble with the law, you're ability to vote is taken away from you. So, is voting a "right?" Rights are that which cannot be interfered with by the Government - they are endowed by God and the human intellect. The term: the right to vote, is then used as a "whitewashing," of the truth, to be used a punishment against you when determined by the government to do so and FORCE you into obedience with their laws. Is that a right? Is that EVEN a privilege? No - in that case - it's neither. In that case, the whitewashing of the fence, that you paid to wash, which isn't even your fence, will lead you and those around you further down the spiral.

Now - some may argue about the driving thing: it's a privilege, because one has to be educated and pass the tests! Really? You mean, the tests that "certify," a person to drive, for a COST to Uncle Sam (isn't that back to whitewashing the fence...?), to sit behind a dangerous, 2000 pound chunk of steel in heavy-duty traffic, miserable (remember... it was a looonnngggg fence!)? While I won't get into my opinions on the driving matter, I simply present these issues to you in the form of Tom Sawyer's Whitewashing to show you that:

The government is not 'fixing,' the problem (the cars are not set to 55 mph only and constructed in a fashion to prevent accidents), they are simply glossing it over (monetizing the debt?). And, to make matters worse - when the parties that support socialism force you to wash the fence - then there is no freedom, liberty or rights involved at all. When someone's in need, (welfare), does the government offer: Hey - let's give back some of these riches we have? Can the person simply go out and play the same game (although there are no fences left to paint and they can't afford the paint?)? Or, does the government come forward to you, the painters who have already sacrificed and say: hey - that person's in need - there's no room for them on the fence to paint with us, so, until that happens, I need you to give up more of your stuff to them [so they can then, later on, pay the government for the privilege to wash the fence]. This is charity/welfare and the rest all rolled into one.

What's happening folks? How long before the other boys in town realize what Tom's done and come a 'knockin' at the door to tear it down? How much longer before someone calls on those "IOU's?" How far can Tom Sawyer go? Well - like the book said - he would've gone all day and bankrupted EVERY boy in town, except he just ran out of fence!!

How far will Uncle Sam go? Probably until the boys let him know enough's - enough - but by then, I fear it may be too late.

Review: The Glenn Beck Comedy Tour - 10 out of 10

(Yes - this blog's dedicated to government lies - and I tend to break the rules too often and stray from it - but Glenn Beck's pretty close to right on the money with this topic anyway.. so here goes - I'll rate this in the way I use to rate movies when I did so on another, old blog, using the good, the bad and the ugly!)

First - my rating: For a comedy show of this nature (explained in detail below), I give this a 10 out of 10 - and for anyone who has ever read my reviews, they can most assuredly tell you, I tend to be exceedingly harsh, use very strict criteria and will rarely, if EVER, even rate a 9/10 - even on comedy tours!!

The Good:

The Glenn Beck, "Common Sense," Comedy Tour aired live, last Thursday. It was my brother's birthday, I didn't have any money to do anything for him, and when the radio DJ announced the ticket giveaway on KBND - I didn't even bat an eyelash. I had heard the DJ talk about it and immediately began to pull off the road, my hand on the cell phone - I dialed - and I won! Woohoo! Two free tickets to Glenn Beck! YES! (although I appreciated the tickets, I'm sure Glenn appreciates the money generated from them, too!)!... Wait, my brother "wasn't" (although he is now, having seen the show), a Glenn Beck listener. I thought, "Oh man, great - I got him something that he'll be appreciative for because he's a good guy, but I'm sure won't really enjoy - great brother I am!" Boy, was I wrong. My brother laughed throughout and enjoyed the entire show (except for his confusion on the Whoopie Goldberg issue - and explaining it "after the fact," didn't much add to the comedy therein. Glenn Beck put himself before the world to be judged, and he delivered. The value of his show far exceeded the cost of any tickets (and turned out to be of extreme value and worth to my brother - which was awesome!).

So, I went, excited to see the 'live' showing (broadcast across more than 430 theaters I believe?), hoping to catch 'Glenn' when he makes any mistakes or trip-ups (when you enjoy someone's work, and you understand their value in what they do - and you mean it in GOOD humor - you might tend to find yourself looking for the little mistakes here and there for added, comedic value), hoping to have a laugh or two - and I was NOT disappointed. Mind you, as for a "comedy" show, it wasn't "chalk" full of humor - but let's face it, Glenn is Glenn, not Robin Williams, and he can't be held to the same standard (I suppose that goes along with the whole, 'common sense,' theme as well...). And, toward the last, maybe 30 - 45 minutes, Glenn really broke from the 'animated,' and 'lively,' routine he had been doing to become very preachy. Mind you, as a Glenn Beck fan, I enjoy his common sense banter and appreciate his insightful views into our current, political climate; so I was not put off by this at all. It even worked - in part - to 'wind' down the audience.

In fact, my brother turned to me at one point during the broadcast and asked, "They [the audience] do know that he [Glenn] can't hear them, right?" Of course, he was referring to the clapping and cheers coming from within OUR theater! What I thought was of key notice, was that the audience (full house) was filled primarily with an older generation of people. What that said to me was, the people who have been through this, the people who have been around and seen this Country's ups and downs, the people who are wizened and experienced, have come here seeking more insight (and humor - Glenn is a very animated character, and watching him is definitely entertaining). What does that say for Glenn's show? Well, I could spout on all day about my opinions of it, but I think the last two points I made speak for themselves: An audience of wizened and knowledgeable people, clapping and cheering at what they were watching, who found value and entertainment all-in-one! These are not teen-agers with self-indulgent values. These are not college-aged students with mixed, 'clueless' causes. And, these are not the same people that rush off to the Robin Williams comedy tour expecting some vulgarity, constant, outrageous humor and laughs galore (yes, Robin's awesome, too!).

These are folks who know what they're doing. A good portion of the audience included the middle to older working class - responsible Americans with high values. These are sensible, no-nonsense people who see that something's wrong in this country, and they are looking for confirmation, or an explanation, of what's going on. And, they got what they came for - as did I. Not only did I seek knowledge from Mr. Beck, but I sought confirmation of what I knew to be going on, and it was there. Albeit, it was appropriately mixed in with enough humor to keep me laughing through most of the show. Another factor to consider, is that Glenn is addressing a highly-sensitive, and not-so-funny topic. Thusly, I would more likely rate him against a comedian such as Chris Titus. Titus addresses not-so-funny, and often times difficult issues in a manner that will keep you laughing, and yet, he still gets his point across (at times...). Glenn, not only did the same, but he addressed a topic of grave concern to all of America, and did so in a VERY, unbiased and [generally] non-partisan manner. That is what I REALLY appreciate about his work - it is such an unbelievably refreshing approach that this alone, makes his entire show worthwhile. He brings everything to the table. He does not generally tend to make half-cocked statements (note my previous blogs putting the responsibility onto the listeners to confirm facts and information for THEMSELVES) like so many other talk show hosts do, having only half the knowledge. This is the type of insight that has value. This is the type of input that "educates," people.

What was the major theme? Well, um, common sense, of course? I suppose that should have been, "common sense," to those who read the title of his tour. However, what common sense? The common sense not to stick your finger in the light socket (ie Titus)? No - the common sense to not let life continue passing us by, ignorant to the continuing decline of our government, which is reflected at an exponentially, much worse level in our economy, social lives, education and other areas of political/public crossover (a line which is very much becoming harder and harder to distinguish). Some people - will NOT like his show. Some people will not like what Glenn says because it's "true," or because it's "not funny enough," or because it's too "preachy." For whatever excuse someone makes for not liking it, in the words of Lincoln: You can't please all of the people, all of the time (a variant, of course, on 'fooling' the people as was actually said by Lincoln). For the rest of us, those that are looking for a good time, a quality show, valuable entertainment, enlightening knowledge, intelligent insight and equal and ACCURATE representation of the problems facing America today: This is the show to see.

The Bad:

A lot of preaching. It was like listening to Glenn's radio show (except this had a lot more humor, less interruptions and lively, animations from Glenn himself). That's hard on some people. It's the same for the poor folks who actually take the time to read my long-winded blogs - people read newspapers because articles are pithy - but these topics are not pithy topics - the points that have to be made can't be done in a few sentences, and in order to get the point across in a fair and impartial manner - it takes more space and time. So, the show went on in very LONG paths to try and make its points (again, albeit a necessary path). Otherwise, there was not really anything bad to say (as you can tell, I'm the 'old white party,'... hahaha... because the other side will have a LOT of negative to say, I'm sure), but for the sake of equal representation of good and bad, I'll add what I can:

The wig left on stage by Glenn was an annoying distraction. The audience member with his first beer was an annoying distraction (Glenn recovered VERY well - obviously a seasoned comedian who knows his gig because, as Bob and Tom note, the best comedians can be rated upon how they take the heckling of the audience). A couple of nitpicky items - when referring to Paul Revere, Glenn said: Benjamin Franklin (I believe), and when addressing the audience, he switched between Missouri and Kansas - so I felt a little out of place in Oregon!

The Whoopie joke was good - and added to the emphasis that Glenn made when finally discussing the 'real,' Whoopie Goldberg, but for those who didn't know the joke in advance, or weren't that interested in it, it drug on a little too much. It was a great insider joke for the Glenn Beck staff I'm sure, and it was awesome to know that "the View," was having conniption fits (I'm assuming that info btw), but it was hit on a little, too much. Leaving the audience members on stage while he did his "in-betweens," (referring to periods in between interacting with the people) that were necessary for the whole explanation (and it was the MOST brilliant example, to date, I've seen for a visual explanation of freedom), was a bit tedious to watch. I felt sorry for them after a while (that is, the face of the poor, confused girl just standing on stage made you feel sorry for her and think - c'mon Glenn - get it over with - they're dying up there!!). Finally, it's frightening how much Glenn and I are alike in our communication styles whether we are in agreement or not: we're both VERY easily sidetracked, and that can lead to a LOT of redundancy and lag!

The Ugly:

This one's easy - (ha, ha, ha - no - not the outfit!!): Glenn constantly referred to the importance of the American people 'waking up,' and 'fighting back,' against the system. I feel he did a brilliant job showing us just how the system is wrong and what needs to be changed (ie. throwing the whole cast and crew of American politics OUT the door), but what I feel was missed is an important point that I am going to go out on a limb here and state that I personally "believe," is what Glenn is trying to say without saying it (only because his views and mine are **almost** exactly parallel, especially in what he and I see coming):

As Glenn stated: we have to fight back. It's not enough to stand up. We HAVE to stop voting when our only two choices are 'bad,' and 'worse.' We HAVE to stop obeying stupid laws that are designed to harm us. But, how do we do that? I feel that the legal predicament I'm currently in originates from having expressed my solution in a previous blog when it was I who was writing (vs. now - with another who interfaces with the pc and writes for me - even if it's still my words). I stated that our fighting back can only come in one fashion - and that's where Glenn's "anarchy" vs. "king/empire," example comes in. Moving in between the two requires that anarchy also exists. There's no anarchy right now. There's no rebellion. People are afraid. Glenn spoke about the politicians threatening to cut the police and schools - but, in part, he was wrong. In most states, they've ramped up the police force - because they want to keep the people scared. Rebelling, in the current system, means cops hauling you off to jail or prison or even - falsely incriminating you and hurting the innocent (the peaceful, sit-down protest at Kent State anyone?). The real 'home-land' terrorist threat comes from within, not without - I'm sorry to say. But, I'll digress on any further opinions from me, and simply say that, the ugly is that there is now a riled up group of people (who will be joined when the show is re-broadcast, and if you haven't seen it - I'm recommending it to you!!), with nowhere to go. And, that's when that no-government, no-leadership, DANGEROUS, anarchy sets in...

The people need a leader, and after watching Mr. Beck's oratory skills; hearing his knowledge, wisdom and insight; and seeing that he has seen the dark corners that I have too; maybe he should put back on the founding fathers' suit and take charge (or was that a subliminal message to do that anyway? HAHAHAHAHAHA!).

Now, stop reading and go see it. Go on. Why are you still reading? I don't care if it's not playing yet - get off of here and go buy tickets - then go sit and wait for it! Sheesh!! Computers are bad for you anyway!!

The REAL problem of the gay marriage proposal

I will refrain from expressing my opinions as to whether or not homosexuality is permissable or not (as it is not my right to judge any other person in this world), I will comment on the problem of the 'gay' marriage proposal, because - it directly involves a violation of our Constitutional rights in this country. Don't see how - let me show you:

You see, the institution of marriage is a sacred and secular one that demands the utmost respect. However, in more modern times (mostly, the last hundred years - although the issues I'm about to address have been around here and there in the past), it has been treated with a level of indignity that does not reflect the respect of the Divine Order which instituted this sacred union. Is that because of 'homosexuality?' Well, only in regards to this most recent proposal of allowing gay marriages. It started back in the beginning of time when married couples fought, disrespected and mistreated one another. It started in a time when men felt they had a right to 'use' women as concubines or servants. However, as society has progressed, one might imagine that those issues have lessened. And, they have. But, not so much as by the actions of the people, but more so by the involvement of Government. When Secular faith and governmental politics crossed, and divorces became an acceptable institution in ALL faiths - the sanctity of that Divine union of a man and woman was severely injured. We may argue that in some cases, a divorce may be necessary, I believe that the first and foremost doctrine on marriage, that offered by Jesus the Christ, clearly resolves that matter. When a man, or a woman, has failed in their duties of an equal union built upon the sanctity of love, friendship, dedication, devotion and a Divine inspiration to be united as one, it is fair to say that they are no longer deserving of that relationship. However - to be 'remarried,' is an issue of such fragilty that the point of chastity of widows and the caring of widows by the common public, as commanded by Jesus the Christ, was lost.

As humans, we are by nature, lazy. We look for an easy way out. In fact, I am first and foremost, amongst you all - the MOST guilty of this. While I strive to live a life that reflects our Heavenly Savior, I too must never forget that I am but a mortal, and prone to error. And, so, avoiding the initiation of actions such as 'remarriage,' would have been a great way to ensure that I (nor anyone else), could not take the 'easy' way out. Instead, we have divorce, remarriage, single parent-hood and a society that is wrought with strife. And, who permits these 'divorces,' or 'remarriages?'

It began with political intervention - yes - the government. No longer does it take a member of the clergy, classes, time, honor and respect to be married. Today, it takes $25 and signing some paperwork in front of a Judge. Congratulations - you have shortcut the ENTIRETY of divine unions and gone straight to the unevolved state of 'monkey-hood,' in which you are resolving your immediate need for gratification and circumventing that which is supposed to be the boundary line of a civilized society - patience and delayed gratification. I'm not saying that this is wrong - for those who haven't the money for a church. It's not wrong for those who haven't yet found a faith. It would be my hope and prayer, that one day, within their divine union, they would seek for a higher power (as the ONLY TRUE PRINCIPAL BEHIND MARRIAGE IS TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED IN THE EYES OF GOD). Of course, the government has dramatically mislead the people into accepting its role as a higher power. Now comes the point of gay marriages -

If this were REALLY about 'insurance' policies, don't you think the government, that is issuing out mandates permitting gay marriages, could also create mandates forcing insurance companies to modify their policies? They do it EVERY day. In fact, permitting gay marriages does NOT mean that a couple can walk into just 'any' church and be married. It takes away the secular basis of an individual claiming to have divine authority and replaces it with governmental - man's - temporal authority. Yes, the same men who get divorced, partake of domestic violence and other such acts, are now the governing authority over gay marriages. So, what TRUE sanctity is there? In fact, if a minister of a church were to establish his own church and accept doctrines of homosexuality, gay and lesbian individuals could most certainly be married. The government accepts a so-called 'minister,' dressed as Elvis, marrying two people for $25, in proxy, it can most certainly accept the doctrines of any established faith. Those of a homosexual persuasion could have sought to establish their own insurance company with policies allowing support for 'life-partners.' So why is this such an issue?

It's an issue - it's in the news - and it has the world's attention because once again, we are watching the government interject into the private lives of individuals and destroy the purpose and foundation of America. This country was founded to allow individuals to be unique and different without political intervention. The freedom of religion was founded to be unique without political intervention. If the States pass a law mandating that gay marriage is to be allowed, what freedoms for the secular faiths that oppose this is there? Should the LDS, the Seventh Day Adventists or any of the others have to change what they believe to be divine providence to permit gay marriage? When does the church's "freedom," no longer have value in the eyes of the law? When is the law no longer a standard of equality which the Constitution designed for all peoples of this nation, because it intrudes on the lives of others? The answer is clear: when it strives to change the laws for some, depriving others of their freedoms. That's the very foundation upon which law is designed. An individual is free to do what they want until it impedes another in some egregious manner. Murder, rape, theft, abuse - all impede on the rights of another. Now, the sacredness and privacy and privilege of a church to do as they will be their divine inspiration has been impeded upon.

Is there a fix? Yes, the State governments could have mandated that they will recognize, legally, anyone who is homosexual in marriage. That is not to say, they pass a law 'allowing it,' as freedom of religion should have allowed it from the beginning - regardless of any moral opinions on it being right or wrong. The State governments could have mandated that they will require insurance companies to act upon the policies of non-discrimination including secular, marital or otherwise, that they promote in their contracts, upholding the standards of fair business practices. But, we're faced with one more dilemma-

How do we stand for or against such an institution? If we support this institution, the we encourage the government to continue to intervene in our private and secular lives, taking away not only our freedom, but specifically robbing us of it as mentioned before. If we stand for it, we acknowledge that we have no rights. If we stand against it, we must petition the government. But, how do we do that, without also telling the Government that we want their intervention into our private and secular lives?

The only thing we can do is petition our churches, if we believe in it or against it, to take a stand either way. Either allow it, or don't. And, it will be up to each one of us to take accountability for our OWN actions and our OWN selves and not spend time judging others or worrying about what other people are doing. If our secular faith lets us down (either way), we will have to find a new, spiritual direction. But, if today, for example, we were to protest gay marriage and have the government intervene, what's to stop them from requring secular faiths to institute other, non divinely inspired rules? What's to stop the government from marching in on the doors of an organized faith and demand they comply or pay the penalty? At what point is it egregious toward us, the people, that our tax dollars are being spent for the government to circumvent 'good' business practices of insurance companies in non discriminatory issues and instead, impede upon the individual (because we're an easier target - even though WE'RE the taxpayers)? At what point is my voice now stifled from being able to say anything, for or against this matter, because government intervention was wrong in the first place, and to have them intervene again would be just as wrong (as we all know, contrary to the current, political agenda of this country - two wrongs actually DON'T make a right)?

Ask yourself - Do YOU want the same people who have a history of cheating their taxes, bouncing checks, getting multiple divorces, partaking in prostitution, facing criminal matters and so on to make YOUR secular decisions? Then you must confront your church and stand on your own principals - even if you are alone - much in the same way our Heavenly Savior did, and state what you believe and demand that the secular organization which answers to YOU - it's congregation - upholds those standards. But, before you do - make sure you're not judging, passing judgment or acting for yourself. Because, if you are - IF - you are acting upon your own heart and selfishness, then what makes you ANY different than those people who involved the government in the first place and demanded gay marriage be supported? I'm not scolding them for their gender-based preferences, but for being the few who felt it necessary to impede upon the rights of others without consideration for the hearts of the masses, but themselves. Because, truthfully - marriage is NOT a ring. Marriage is NOT a minister. Marriage is NOT a legal recognition. Marriage is a bond, between two people, that will stand the test and trials of their lives, based on love, friendship and equality. Marriage is an act of two hearts and God. That's it. The 'ceremonies,' are just that - ceremonies. Even if you're in a faith that believes the ceremonies necessary to be acknowledged by God - the truth is - God sees our hearts. He knows our most sincere and deepest desires. He is not fooled by rings and ceremonies. He knows if two people are so insincere that divorce is in their future.

And, ONLY HE KNOWS. Not us. Not men or women. We must act on our own agency, will, desires and freedom - but we must remember always - that what we do today will have SEVERE consequences, good or bad, on what comes tomorrow. And, I think THIS is a perfect example of that.

Bend Parks and Rec calling for more cops.. oh boy...

Here we go again - more cops in Bend. If it wasn't bad enough the ratio of police is 1 to every 800 people, in our SMALL town (not counting sheriffs, state and federal officers...) - now they're in our parks. Wait... they were in our parks before (anyone else noticed the 'bike' cops?)! So - this IS about money. Not only will we be paying for the cops through our tax money - but the check that the Parks and Rec District write the cops will come from... wait... our TAX Money!! See how that works? And, let me offer the TRUTH for those of you who watched this report on television - it is NOT that the Parks and Rec director believes people will 'respect' the cops more than they will Bennett - it's that they will 'FEAR' the cops more than they do Bennett. Because, in truth, not one person can say that when they see a cop, they don't automatically have some level of fear or concern - even if that concern is to jutify being less concerned because they're not, doing anything wrong.... Either way - it's fear mongering - and this is AMERICA - NOT COMMUNIST CHINA!!

Here it comes - caching - more money out of our pockets for police. More money for the police and the courts through tickets for DOG owners. Sure - no one wants to see a dog bite someone - but that's not what this is about. How many 'dog attacks' from 'unleashed' dogs have we had in the parks (say, vs. homes or ANYWHERE else)? Can you name ONE? How about TWO? Maybe a few? Try looking it up and see that they don't exist. We're so busy handing off accountabilty and responsibility to the authorities - the same ones who shoot unarmed, innocent kids without remand, prevent sons from saying goodbye to their dying mothers in the hospital out of sheer pride and inhumane selfishness and most recently - as of recent headlines - are put on probation/let go for frauding the public, or hurting innocent people. We NEED to begin taking accountability and responsibility for OURSELVES - and that is the type of America that Bennett represents!

Maybe it's time we say: NO. No to the overpriced police department where the current budget is over $35 MILLION, third only to water and wastewater services as far as municipal costs go!! Maybe if the City were to invest even a lousy $3 million - of that $35 million - into the current, $13 million community development fund and build parks where leashes were offered for free, dog parks were made more convenient for their owners or do something FOR the citizens of Bend who are FOOTING THIS BILL, then we wouldn't need so many cops (starting to sound like AIG - or maybe - Marxist Communism?)! Have you been to the courthouse lately? Near 100 NEW names EVERY DAY! I don't know about your math, but in a town with 76,000 people - that is more than HALF of the people of Bend and a THIRD of the entire County's population in a year's time?? WHAT is going on?? We have park directors who want to instill fear, raise our expenses during difficult, economic times - and for what? To patrol the parks for potential, future risks? Because, if a dog hasn't attacked or hurt someone - then the leash law is nothing more than a 'predictive' measurement in which we're going to assume EVERY dog and their owner is GUILTY, and force them to prove their innocence later on. That is NOT AMERICAN. INNOCENT first - then - guilty. And, you ask, what if it was me who got hurt or a family member by the dog? Well, if you're asking that question - then YOU do not have the same faith and trust in God that I do, that believes in our ability to love and forgive, and at that point, relies on the law to come in and fix the situation so no one else, gets hurt. And - I'd die in a heartbeat, without a second thought, for my son, if the choice had to be made.

I say NO! If Bennet makes $60k of that $100k budgeted - and there's even an additional $25k in expenses - that's $15k left over for her to carry around dog leashes - give people their GOD GIVEN right to make a choice and not FORCE things upon them, ask people to be respectful, and then, if need be - CALL IN the cops when people are in violation. Because... what do you think they do now? Why do you think she carries around the walkie talkie? Maybe if Bend PD didn't require 15 officers on the scene to get a cat out of a tree - they'd be able to respond to her calls!! And, if we DON'T stop this - you know as well as I do - that the ENTIRE $100k check will go to the Bend PD, whether they're there - or not! Start making a difference people - If you love this town even HALF as much as I do - you'll demand the Parks and Rec PRESERVES our happiness and freedom and STOP them from turning the parks into a place of fear mongering!!

Dear IRS, I am notifying you that I demand a refund...

Dear IRS and State Financial Folks,

I am writing you to hereby, formally let you know that I am demanding a refund, in full, of the taxes I have paid since... ever. I would also like to inform you that I am no longer going to pay taxes .... ever. My justification for this is sufficiently supported under the United States Constitution, the Declarations of State and Federal Governmental law and the dictates of my rights as an American. Of course, I will no longer be requiring your services, or the few services that have been continuously forced upon me. Instead, I will be directly paying the agencies whose services I do require for their continued support. As for the monies that I am supposedly 'owed' via social security and other such services, I am demanding that you do not use this as your basis for your calculations, but, in fact, that you provide a refund based in full, upon what I have physically paid in. The monies I have paid in are more than 50% gone based on their misappropriations, and so, you will have to return everything to me. Finally, please be informed that I believe your office is rude, crude and a social injustice to the American people. I would just as soon spit on you as see you, and I say that in whole, as a Christian, knowing that God pretty much feels the same way.

So, first off, why I am demanding a refund of everything I have EVER paid in to taxes.

1. You do not represent my interests in war or in the efforts of our troops and you have betrayed my Democratic right to vote on such issues by allowing the Government to send troops to war whenever they want. Besides, the majority of monies I have paid for our troops has not gone to them, but more than 80% of it has gone to 'specialized,' over-priced, black-box projects that resulted in technology that is now boxed up in a warehouse and useless. I agreed to pay for the troops to protect this country, not scientists to build toys.

2. This stimulus package has already multiplied the gross, national debt by an amount so far beyond reason, that it alone, accounts for all the money that I have paid in. And, instead of being used to support the 'people,' where I would have preferred, Congress and the President have acted in direct opposition to the people and have fed the money to financial institutions and insurance companies that do not provide me any services, do not affect my life and quite honestly, it was bad enough that Congress was getting fat and rich off of me, but to know that non-governmental agencies are getting fat and rich off of me is insulting and intolerable.

3. The U.S. Government forgave the rest of the world their debts, running up our own bills, and then used my money to pay off our debts to other countries. Debts, which I might add, have come at an even greater cost to our economy and hurt my job and cost me a healthy paycheck. This includes outsourcing jobs and education which has increased the price of tuition in college, and prevented me from having the right to pursue a positively supporting lifestyle, for the whole of America.

4. A good portion of my money has gone to fund you. While that, in and of itself, is enough said, given your flippant attitudes, your rudeness, your exempt-ness from law, the fact is, I do not enjoy working, to pay you as my employee, so that you can mistreat me, step on me, hurt my friends and loved ones and quite honestly, your services are no longer required, so as your employer: you're fired. Additionally, my money has been used for agencies like CPS that continue to go unmonitored, hurt innocent children and if you dare have the audacity to take this to a court of law, I am going to enjoy, most thoroughly, watching you stand before the World, on camera, and justify why you should be permitted to take my money to hurt innocent children. Choke on that.

5. A good portion of my money is consistently being used to establish fear-mongering and abuse me through increased law enforcement, prosecutions, court rooms and jails that I did NOT approve of. These institutions are not keeping me safe. They are interfering in my life, and quite honestly, they owe me a LOT more than they can afford in all the heartache and fear they've caused throughout the years. When these people make quadruple the amount I do, and yet harass me and treat me like garbage, well - it's like having to pay for YOU. I DO NOT support it.

Just FYI, what I AM going to do with my money is this:

  •    I will join with a group of others in determining what the Fire department's budget is - and contribute.
  •    If the police are willing to get back down to doing what it is they're supposed to, I'll contribute.
  •    I WILL be giving my money directly to the schools, so you don't suck out over 50% for your overhead so they can actually function.
  •    I will be investing my money into areas where I believe it can grow, not the banks, not the insurance companies and sure as heck not the rest of the world, except where trade is openly and freely supported with countries who don't want to see us dead and that we are treating respectfully.
  •    I will be giving my money to certain types of assistance programs such as programs that help the disabled, where these programs are not run by the GOVERNMENT and give people free money because they're "depressed," but give money to those who are ACTUALLY disabled and ACTUALLY in need and working to get a better life. (of course, I’ll prioritize on those being ripped off by the pharmaceuticals…)
  •    I will give my money to the politicians that consider MY vote as important. The politicians who actually CARE what the PEOPLE have to say and represent us will continue to have my support - in fair proportion to the work they do.
  •    I will give my money to those government agencies that compete for my business and can show me how they are properly utilizing the funds to support me, whether it's right now, in the future or at an unpredictable time when I might need them. I will not pay $5000 for toilet seats in government facilities any longer. Believe me, it will be fun to watch them have to answer for all they do. Of course, this last one will include everything ranging from libraries to school programs, and other reasonable services that are designed to help the whole of humanity, not some special interest groups.
  •    I will give my money to prosecutors who bring cases with factual evidence and don't risk sending innocent people to prison.
  •    I will give my money to courthouses that place Constitutional Rights before personal agendas.

And the rest, I'll figure out for myself (i.e. properly investing my social security retirement monies so I actually HAVE some when it comes my time to retire). Because, in truth, you have done nothing but squander, waste and abuse the funds I have entrusted to you. And, while you may only be the 'financial' department for the Government, I hold you just as responsible as I do them for collecting and properly allocating my money, because that is YOUR JOB. It's NOT to harass the people and be jerks. It's to do good bookkeeping. And, by the current state of the economy, as accountants with a current $21 trillion dollar deficit - YOU SUCK.

Of course, I will be taking my check to a REAL accountant to confirm that you have properly refunded EVERYTHING as I have NO reason to trust your accounting skills. Please be advised that I will bill you for any amount that you do not properly provide me at the standard collections interest rate you screw people with of: 3% per DAY. I would thank you for your services over the years, but the truth is, your services have been worthless. Thank you for your time today, and God Bless...

Sincerely,

The livid Americans of this Country

...... wouldn't it be nice....

... on the other hand - if we ALL sent this in this April - wouldn't it be AWESOME - after ALL the money Obama is spending, to see their faces!!! Almost worth it...

ahh... to dream

Is war really coming? Is Afganistan the answer?

A short while ago I posted my discussion on what I felt were key points in the last 100 years of American History that have brought us to today. I did that because I felt it was important for you folks to be able to see the truth - at least from my perspective - and when mixed with all the other malarkey out there, formulate your own opinions and draw your own conclusions. Of the points I made about World War I, following the sinking of the Lusitania (conspiracy theories aside), was the point where the American people, outraged, cried out for War! They didn't care if it crashed the economy. They specifically said - we don't care if we go bankrupt, if we lose our homes, if we suffer- they wanted revenge.

The other evening I heard it from Phil Hendrie (partially paraphrased as I couldn't get it all... sorry)- "Why should Obama have to explain his maneuvers in Afghanistan? I think he does it because he's surrounded himself by liberal cowards and people in Congress whispering in his ears. I'm glad we're there. Let's get those mothers. Let's smoke their rat-asses out. I don't care if it bankrupts us even. I don't care if we can't afford it. So, fine, I can't put a new room on my house or get a loan. As long as we stop those child-killing terrorists."

And, I heard it on Dennis Miller (also paraphrased in part), "So what if we kill them. You know what I think? Anyone willing to slap a bomb around a child's waist and send them out to die should be killed, all of them!"

And, I cried.

I try telling you that history repeats itself. It's one thing for 'conditions' to be similar. It's another thing for them to be EXACT. When the people cry out - kill them - kill them all - go to war - we don't care if it bankrupts us -

It's a repeat of what has been. Do I think that it's okay that terrorists kill people? Duhh--- obviously not. I'm against ANY government that hurts its own people - starting with OUR OWN. But, the stage is set. The trends are the same - failing economy, people unemployed, an opportunity for war and to rebuild the country, people driven to support the government going hogwild with taxes and money by seeing their own die - but - there's still one more element missing....

An attack on American soil. And, I'm not talking the 9/11 garbage. I'm talking a real one. Sure, losing family members, friends, loved ones - sucks. But, when the circumstances are conspiratal at best, I want justice from the one who actually did it - NOT - who was accused. And, what is happening? The American "experts" on terrorists (how in the hell does that work?) "speculate", from the comfort of their American offices in Washington D.C., that the Taliban and Al Qaeda are gathering in Afghanistan and preparing for an attack on American soil.

They speculate...... they're guessing. You see, the trouble I had with America going over seas to get the terrorists who committed the 9/11 atrocities is this: Those terrorists are DEAD. They were ON the plane. They died. Sure, maybe there are people over seas in the same types of militias that encouraged them - but they didn't force them. These people went of their own government-driven/media-driven/secular-driven agendas. They came here to 'weed out' and 'kill the infidels.'

Well, what are we doing? We are being told by the government, the media and in many cases even our religions, that these people are bad. We are told this from birth. We are told we have to go over there to 'weed out' and 'kill the infidels.'

So - where is the line drawn? What's the distinction? We are doing NOTHING different than them. Your arguments? Don't worry - I know what they are in advance because they're repetitious, old and still as worthless now as they were long ago, so let me address them:

They started it. Yeah, and two wrongs make a right, vengeance is better, kill 'em with guns not love, and who cares who gets hurt and stepped on in the middle, right? So what if we force governmental seizure and control of the innocent's homes and houses, institute curfews, put them under martial law, tick off the bad guys and encourage them to kill MORE of their own people, and in the meantime, slaughter a few innocent children ourselves - we're being 'saved,' right? Well, if you're still arguing this one - you win, because quite frankly, there is no way to counter an immature argument made by monkeys, by trying to use logic and reasoning.

They kill their own children! Yeah, and America doesn't? Every year thousands - THOUSANDS - of homeless children starve to death (a VERY painful way to die for those who don't know) because the rich get richer and the poor, poorer. We cut back education and put pressure on our children that has them shooting each other. We blast them with sex in media and intolerance in politics. We're SCREWING their financial futures and condemning them. DHS is kidnapping MILLIONS of innocent children every year and is responsible for the rape, murder and abuse of tens of thousands of them every year. Sure - we are SO justified in this. You have no argument.

They may come back! Yep - you're right. They may. They may send over terrorists who will get through the federally locked down airports and hijack another plane. They may kidnap people overseas and kill them. They may kill around 100 people by the end of the year. On the other hand, going to war means they WILL kill THOUSANDS of U.S. troops... children (for those of you who don't realize the majority of soldiers on the front line are still under 20 years of age - and to me, that's still someone's baby). They WILL fire missiles and bombs in their own streets in increased numbers. So, on this one, you win. Let's do it YOUR way and increase the death toll - much better.

Their people deserve better! YES! You are RIGHT! They deserve schools and education and secular freedoms and clean air and good paying jobs and a strong, people-driven Democracy. Let's have America fix it! Why? Because we're the SHINING example of these things. We have GREAT education... um... oops, sorry - scratch that - no we don't... and the first thing to be cut in this economy crisis wasn't politics or authorities that are sucking up the budget.. it was our children's school. But, we have secular freedom! Wait, oops, my bad - we kicked in the doors of a church and took their children because we didn't approve of what we 'believed' (although we were acting impetuously and hurt innocent lives because we were wrong) they were doing, and of course, secular freedom in schools and the workplace are now gone, and of course, the words 'In God We Trust,' have been removed (and are continuing to be) from most Government buildings. But hey - we have clean air! Um, sorry- my bad. Shouldn't have listed that one. We are paying excessively for 'trying' to have clean air and to fix what we have already done. We have jobs? Um, no... gosh... that's been a HUGE problem with outsourcing and what not. A people driven Democracy? Yeah - that explains the multitudes of bills passing that no longer represent the people (or require our votes or input) and AIG getting my tax money to fund THEIR rich people.

So - am I just being defeatist or what?? I'm just trying to make it hard on you, aren't I? There's GOT to be a solution! YES - there is one. Do I know it? No - I'm not the leader of this Country, so even if I had one - it isn't my place to say (although I would encourage those of you who may ever read this to offer up ideas!!). But, I do know one thing for sure. Marching in head first with guns shooting, bullets firing and asking questions later - is NOT the best policy. You see, sometimes, we get SO preoccupied with our OWN agendas, our OWN fears and our OWN frustrations, that we project those onto others. We are so busy trying to figure out an immediate solution, doing what we believed at the time we "could," that we NEVER stopped long enough to consider whether or not we "should."

Let's not be impetuous for once, okay? Let's not March on the road whose end we cannot see, blind-folded and unsure of what's on the other side of the hill. Because, for all we know, it could be a cliff and we could be lemmings (conspiracy aside again.. sheesh!) marching to our death. Let's NOT let our political leaders guide us in this path either. Quite frankly, people who have already cheated and stolen to get where they are and have little conscience in hurting others, aren't the best people to follow. And, people - STOP - following the media. PLEASE! If you want to do that, just end it now and save yourselves the painful, long, drawn out trip to self-destruction.

Let's use our hearts AND our brains. We don't want to die. We don't want people we know and love to die. And, as a last, little diddy - if somebody says: I HATE you and I'm going to kill you, do we run out, buy a gun and go hunt them down and kill them first? Well, unless we're just un-evolved monkey people who need to be shot anyway, the answer is: no. Sure, we may buy a gun. We may secure our own homes and boundaries. But, there's something else that we do (or at least, we're SUPPOSED to be doing) - we find out WHAT the problem is. We don't KILL the problem, we SOLVE it. (btw - killing it makes it worse - solving it makes it go away). We get input from others like the media who tell us it's all about religion, and we take it in and consider it - in part. We get input from those who are angry and usually don't act rationally. Then, we step back and go - hey - wait a sec - these people are hurt. They are scared. And, their fear and pain has driven them to anger. Because, there's a WHOLE nation over there that believes in the Quran, and THEY don't ALL believe in killing - not just Americans - but ANYONE. That tells me, something is wrong. So, let's start by asking the first question, shall we? Do realize, this means you will have to get off your high horse. You will have to want to be a nation that leads the world by GOOD examples starting at home. You will have to humble yourself and show tolerance, respect and love. And, the first question is:

Why are they angry at me and... What is it I HAVE done that needs to change?

Now, go get yourself a twix and chew on it for a while :)

How the media drives us with lies - pt1

Sure, I know what you're thinking - "Hey, I came here to learn about the truth of the government, not to hear conspiracy theories about the media!" But, what if.... I mean.... just - "what if" - a good portion of the government's lies and corruption include driving the media and leading us down the primrose path? Well, I mean - that's just insane - right? The media never lies. They never make mistakes. They're ALWAYS fair and balanced, aren't they?

Okay, fine, let's dispense with the idiotic mentality that we don't know that this is happening and get down to brass tacks, shall we? The commercial came on from the government sponsored 'protecting kids' campaign against 'online dangers.' Let me first repeat for you EXACTLY, ver batim, what the commercial states:

"You try to protect them. You want to keep them safe. You monitor what they watch. You set filters to control their content. But, are they really safe? ....... But, the truth is, you can't control your kids' exposure to sex, but you can control how they behave."

For those who MISSED it - let me point out the MAJOR areas of concern:

1. You - the parent, the role model, the guardian, the protector, the guidance counselor, the loved one, the creator, the provider - YOU - have NO control at all - YOU CAN NOT control YOUR CHILDS exposure to SEX because YOU can't stop the media - the ones broadcasting this commercial - from putting sex in front of them. YOU can't stop the abuse of the internet where idiots whose evolutionary basis for sex starts and stops at monkeys will post sex. YOU can't stop the kids at school from talking about it. YOU can't stop your own child's self-driven interest in it (aka their evolutionary development as you are NOT God).

2. But, you can control their behavior.

WHAT? Did I, um, miss something? Let me try this one on you: "Hey little Joey, I want you to say yes and no, sir and ma'am, thank you and please, never talk out of turn, always do your homework, do your chores, listen to every word I say, do as I say not as I do and behave...... But, what happens if they don't? Didn't the TV tell you that you could "control" their behavior? Oh, that's right - because the media is GOING to BLAST sex ALL OVER EVERY show they watch, every commercial they hear and do it so repeatedly that its effectiveness rivals hypnotherapy and subliminal messaging - you CAN'T control them. So, um, why... did the TV... tell me I could?

Because, in the face of Congressional laws coming out such as the "forced" community service, Congress wants to empower you to do as they say. You see - THEY CONTROL YOU. YOU - do not even control yourself. They DON'T need your vote. They DON'T need your approval. What they want - is your OBEDIENCE. But, you argue and say - "no, I'm NOT an idiot, I'm NOT your slave, this is a FREE country and I EXPECT the DEMOCRATIC process to allow me to put in my vote."

Now there's conflict. A resolution is needed. Congress says, "Well, we 'do' represent the desires of the people and we 'should' do what they want, but - naaaahhhhh - why do that? Let's scare them, weaken them, take away their power, screw with their heads - and when they're helpless - let's hit 'em below the belt!" You see, for those of you without children, let me 'splain.... no, wait, let me sum up (what movie? c'mon... you know which one 80's generation.. hahahaha):

We love our kids. We live in fear because we KNOW there are bad people out there, the police and court systems are inneffective and we don't want them hurt. Why? WE WENT THROUGH IT. The parents who are ignorant of what their kids are doing - didn't go through the hardships. WE KNOW. We do NOT want them to grow up. We want something DIFFERENT for them. We want a life of happiness and joy and one that doesn't involve strife and heartache. But, that's not always possible. We know that. And, we know that the media is just getting worse - and worse - and worse. I took my son to see a PG movie - and boy oh boy - what they get away with in PG movies is FAR more than I EVER wanted him to see. Learned my lesson.... And, what does the government do? They ENCOURAGE sex in media. The FCC throws a temper tantrum because Janet Jackson had a 'portion' of her COVERED boob pop out during the super bowl half-time because 'families' were watching - but.... it's okay to them that many of today's cartoons include kissing, sexual scenes, sexual jokes and the music videos that ALL the kids are watching include 'pimpin' the ho's' and the degraded value of idols such as Spears and Lohan.

Right, makes a TON of sense, right? I mean, why not let the SOURCES of the MAJORITY of children's media input include bare butts, skimpy outfits, pimped out sluts, superficial make-up jobs to attract sex, but SLAM down those FAMILY values because... oops... it happened at the Super Bowl in front of everyone? The answer's simple - mom and dad saw. They saw what the FCC was putting in front of their children. Anyone watching this season of South Park knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Only when mom and dad become aware does the FCC lay the SMACK down on anyone.

How the media drives us with lies - pt2

(continued on from "How the media drives us with lies - pt. 1) -

Let's examine this in some detail, shall we? Quiznos Subs - their commercial "Dave, put it in me," as the guy looks down at his crotch and says, "Nuh-uh, I burn." Um, maybe in ANY other context, I might have laughed. Sure, I've got the 13 year old mentality that finds fart and sex jokes funny - I'm a guy - EVERY guy (even those who pretend otherwise) - has this mentality by nature. But, it wasn't. Why? For two reasons -
1. IT IS A SUBWAY SANDWHICH COMMERCIAL BROADCAST ON CARTOON NETWORK - THIS is in front of OUR children??? Dammit! My son's not so stupid to have caught the theme of it. They weren't even subtle about it! Sex and subway sandwhiches... gosh.... sex hasn't PERMEATED EVERY SINGLE FACET of hollywood, has it? But - the truth is - not even that was what REALLY peeved me -
2. The OVEN WAS A DUDE. They did NOT use a female voice for the sticking in of the 'torpedo,' sub, into its REAR entry. For anyone who missed it - go look it up yourself, 'cause I'm not gonna encourage it.

Is that to say that the subtelty of the absolutely GAY reference was wrong because it was a 'gay' reference? No. In fact, I'm not even sure that the company advertising for Quiznos thought it through. Hell - they STARTED with DEAD hamsters, modifying an existing internet song for their advertising career. What I am peeved about, is that THIS is the VERY issue I FIRST started with - the MEDIA - the people BROADCASTING THIS COMMERCIAL - are the SAME ONES - that told us we 'love our children, and because we do, if we WANT to be GOOD parents, we'll try to keep them away from sexual themes - but..... too bad, we can't.' And, why not? BECAUSE HERE IT IS - on the VERY channel my son watches, right in front of him. Not only is the sexual theme blatant, but the subtle theme is grotesquely exaggerated.

Now, in contrast, I absolutely LOVE the Burger King mini-burger commercial because the idea of a horde of hot, playboy-type chicks crowding around me, giving me full attention is actually kind of - cool. Of course, because I'm NOT an idiot and I know that no matter HOW many times I unwrap those mini burgers, women aren't going to flood around me - I try to find the 'subtle' hint - since SEX is the NON-subtle hint. And, survey says: Even overweight, fast-food eating, can't hook up with playboy models because they're not rich and sexy guys can get the rich chicks - they just gotta do what the commercial says. So - what does that do for kids? It LOWERS their standards. And, what's the problem? (and I quote) "You can't control your kids' exposure to sex." Well, not only that - but I am now faced with their lowered standards of what's beautiful, what the easy road promises (but in truth can never produce), and I, the parent - become the liar. SO HOW IS IT I CAN "CONTROL" their behavior?

Well - next comes the 'Osbournes' variety hour. No, that's not going to be the full representation of the degraded mentality and unevolved state of humanity, is it? Then what else? Another reality show that relies on the completely 'unrealistic' to survive? Bill Cosby's show in the 80's is considered one of the defining elements of the current troubled condition of the America Family based on media input:

The quick fix doesn't work.

Mom and dad fight, and in 30 minutes, are they back, kissing and everything is okay? Nope. Billy gets in trouble in school and in 30 minutes is it fixed? Nope. Hell - even today on shows like 'House' (albeit I LOVE that show and will otherwise speak no wrong of it): the people who lived in a way that screwed themselves up, at the end of 1 hour - everything's better. Can the kid's go out, get pregnant and do the same? Nope. Media REALLY took us away from the point of morality. And how, why? Here's something I LOVE - HULU!! I give these guys MAJOR props.

What do they offer? Cerebral, gelatinisizing shows.
Can you control them? Nahh... what are you gonna do, shut off your TV AND your computer?
What is their goal? An evil plot to destroy the world.

That's it. THAT'S IT! Right there - in black and white. It's not Quiznos or BK's openly sexual content that tries not to say the word, "sex," - it ACTUALLY says what they want. TV rots your brain. TV over the Internet rots your brain. And, what would be the eventual goal? World destruction. Simple. To the point. Heck, if our Government was THIS honest - we'd at least ALL be in a better place!! If we were this honest with ourselves - we'd be in a better place. "Hey, I'd say it's nice to see you today, Bill, but that would just be some empty form of flattery based on socially accepted norms, when in fact, I actually hate the way you treat your family, think your arrogant and stuck up and wish I never saw you."

But, will we do that? Nope. Why? FEAR. Yes, I actually sit up at night and wonder if Hulu IS really made up of aliens destroying us. Why? Because - that is WHAT they are broadcasting BECAUSE they KNOW we are SO far down the rabbit hole that we can no longer distinguish reality from fiction. We are the sheep that went to the other side, realized the grass WASN'T greener, and are now wandering around aimlessly. We are a greedy, selfish, "thing"-driven population. We DON'T want the truth. If it's given to us, we REJECT it. And, the point of ALL of this?

The government knows this. They feed us what they want us to hear. Obama received 100,000 questions to answer on-line? C'mon - let's NOT be stupid. They filtered out 100 MILLION to only 100,000. And, the majority were about legalizing pot? Yeah - SURE they were. The MAJORITY were questioning his budget policies. And, what did he answer?

Four. Four out of 100,000 (out of 100 million). Four questions based on "how will you help lower my tuition?" That is CRAP. Sorry for the foul language - but the truth is - his 'people' chose questions about 'children' to gain public support. It was a media campaign to get the public to like him because 'he cares about the kiddies.'

Yeah - but he can't stop their exposure to sex, right? Nope - but he can tell you that you can control their behavior, right? Sure - so long as Congress has a SLEW of pre-determined bills sitting on their desks that they will pass, one at a time, slowly, that will place GREATER control on us. And, they KNOW better than to start with the adults. While the majority of America's made up of the gooey-mush brained television watchers, there are enough people (aka Glenn Beck) who will talk about the truth and raise Cain. So, let's do what the Nazi's did - go after the kids. The kids are easy targets. FORCE parents to believe they're in control - create a RIFT between the kids and the parents - and you have a nation of children willing to turn in their OWN parents to the Nazi regime...

Sound stupid? Maybe... in fact... I HOPE and PRAY that you're right and I'm wrong. Because, folks, it's happened before - and it WILL happen again.
That which is, was once before, and that which will come, already has been. Ecclesiastes.

The trouble with "special" advocacy groups

Is it wrong to advocate for change? Of course it's not! The whole point of free will is that when people are fully educated on a subject (mind you - I'm not talking about the majority of America, but those few who listen to ALL the issues and form their OWN opinions), they can contribute positively toward changes that will help us move toward a better tomorrow. This kind of change involves the whole of humanity, the majority of people - not the special interest groups. Why?

Special interest groups serve a 'small' portion of society. They represent a 'small,' portion of society, and their knowledge usually starts and stops there. They are motivated by emotion, not logic. They are out to make a change with the immediate need for self gratification. And, therein lies the trouble..... that which distinguishes us from primates is:

Delayed gratification.

You see, monkeys operate on primal instincts - aka - pure emotion. If they need food, they go eat. But, maybe, that means that if the monkey next to them has food, they'll just take it. This obviously leads to conflict and thus, we have a clear separator between homo sapien erectus and .... the monkey. The justice system tends to be a slow, poorly oiled and often corrupted machine - on BOTH sides of the fence. This often drives D.A.'s and law enforcement to resort to 'shoot first and ask questions later' style tactics that result in innocent people being injured, for no good or apparent reason. But, there are oft times small groups of people, like those at NoBAC.org, who feel they have been personally harmed through the tragic death or injury of a loved one or friend, and in their immediate need to 'rectify' that pain and undo it, they don't want to rely on the justice system, the law, or even God, they let their emotions get the better of them, and they turn outward, exercising their power through money, law enforcement and politics to push through their 'immediate' gratification.

Oh sure, you can go on the website and read the horror stories about how drunk drivers destroyed the lives of innocent men, women and children. And, it will most certainly pull on your heart strings (for those who might actually read this website - refer to my previous post on the D.A. using this same tactic in court rooms instead of facts and evidence). You will feel the same anger, hurt and frustration they do. You will MOST certainly be driven to the emotion of fear. And, folks - that is one of THE most POWERFUL emotions, standing side-by-side, with love.

You see, the website's not there because they care about the people they love. The website's there because they are afraid, and they want you to be afraid, too. It may look at first like it's filled with love through 'poetry' and the heart-wrenching tears of those who have lost, but the truth is this: if someone's dead, they're dead. We most certainly don't want to see anyone else suffer, but revenge, hatred, anger - is THAT what your loved one wanted you to go through? Did the person you care about want their death to drive you to fear and hatred? I know that if I lost my own child (Heaven forbid..as it would probably kill me), I would most certainly share many of those same emotions because I'm human. But, it's also my humanity that would say: I have to trust in God. Through God, He will affect the laws that will one day bring about an equality of justice. I will not HATE the person that wrongs my son or myself. I will defend him with my life. I will live for him - I will lay down my life for him. But, what justice would I do my son if I acted in anger and vengeance - ignorant of my human abilty to delay gratification? For, if I did this thing - I would be no different than the drunk driver who, under their immediate need for gratification drank without thought of the consequence. I would have turned into the very thing that killed him, and his death would mean nothing.

So, how does this relate to noBAC.org? It's this: they want the BAC contents to not be scaled based on level of intoxication, but have ANY reading count. ANY reading. Did you know, or were you aware, that more than 50% of you, right now, out there in America, will show up at least at a .01%? Your body naturally produces ethanol molecules, and the error rates in the intoxilyzer machines are so high, that the majority of states in the union won't even use them, and those that do, are constantly having to get rid of their 'older' series models and upgrade because of the constantly erroneous readings!! Did you know that if you have acid reflux/gerds, you WILL... not can... you WILL show up at an added several point increase? If you have hypoglycemia or diabetes, in states that require IID's (interlock ignition devices), you don't even have to use them because they know for a FACT that your disorder will cause an unusually high reading!!

What does this mean? Should we ignore drunk driving? No. There are FAR better ways to handle the matter (and I've posted it in previous articles - so I'll let you take the time to read). But, let's say a family slams into you, their son dies and you're given a BAC. Guess what? If you had gerd's, you know the fear, pain and emotions you're going through has more likely than not, set it off - and if noBAC were to get their way, you would be charged with drunk driving. If you're a painter, on your way home from work, and you get into a car accident - EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT - you will be charged with drunk driving (as the majority of all paint has high enough levels of ethanol molecules to cause a false reading). And, it's PROVEN, that if you smoke, or EAT certain types of BREAD - you'll get a reading on the BAC and blammo - straight to prison, don't pass go, don't collect $200, and have YOUR life, your CHILD'S life and YOUR family's life - destroyed.

But, hey - that's okay. You see, the people... rather monkeys... at noBAC are hungry. And, they're willing to deprive YOU to fulfill their immediate need. Maybe you WERE guilty - and you DID drink and drive - but what right has any group, who simply wants their banana, to hurt innocents in the quest to get to you? Do you see how logic is lost in this? Do you see how emotion has driven people down the wrong path? The punishments for drunk driving are already so severe, that if you haven't witnessed it yet, I can most assuredly give you horror stories that will wrench your stomach. But, it doesn't stop drunk driving, sad to say. The cops are profiting from it big time. And, what's worse, as I've posted in a previous article that the solution comes from taking the money AWAY from law enforcement and put towards actually FIXING the problem, there are a multitude of officers in Oregon, including one whom I happen to personally know is corrupt and a liar, supporting the noBAC move. This will most assuredly convince Congress... to see their proud and noble men and women of law enforcement supporting the bill.

But, we know why they are, don't we? What happens to their budget if suddenly, EVERY stop they make can turn into a DUII? Their cash levels go through the ROOF! What? You think they WANT people to stop drinking? HAHAHAHAHA - obviously - you haven't read the other articles on here... but I'll digress for now. No, they support this special rights group, along with the department of justice, because NONE of them care about justice. The monkeys at the bottom want their bananas, and so do the monkeys up high. The bottom monkeys are looking for punishment of everyone so they can feel justified. The monkeys on top are looking for gold so they can improve their bottom line.

What's the REAL danger? It's not just instant gratification - no - rather, it's a resort back to a legal system we fled away from. Do you know why "beyond a reasonable doubt" was REALLY put into our justice system? The Salem witch trials. go read on it. The most infamous case was a husband, who, in a fit of jealousy, accused his wife of being a witch. She begged and pleaded to him in the courtroom to tell the people the truth, and the courts relied on him ENTIRELY for the answer (of course, the original bible thumpers of this country forgetting that Christ said that where there are not 2 or 3 witnesses, let no person stand accused). He said she was, just to fulfill his anger. And, she died.

But, that's NOT the kicker - amazingly enough. Plenty of people died that way...

The husband, by helping with enforcing laws that supported 'instant gratification,' soon found himself at the accusing end of being a witch. And, after a long, drawn out court battle, was crushed to death, slowly, beneath a door, being covered by rocks, his bones slowly cracking, his muscles ripping, his pulse pounding and screaming in pain until he died. (Salem claims that to this day, the Sheriff's of the town are haunted by this man... hee hee).

So, what's the REAL problem? It's that the people at noBAC, just like the people at MADD, will soon find themselves at the other end of the very same law enforcement that was supporting their cause. Hmm.... did noBAC learn ANYTHING from MADD? Nope. Instead, they forget their humanity and act upon their primal - and they will suffer. But, not before the innocent masses before them suffer. If one small group, with a specialized interest in their OWN, personal agendas, not the well-being of the masses, can push through laws, then we end up with some very, serious trouble.

Anyone remember the group trying to throw out the pledge of allegiance from classrooms?
What about the row v wade group?
What about the anti Parental Alienation Awareness Day group?
What about capitalists who have drug this country into the dirt, pushing their own interests through?
People - what about the laws like the Adam Walsh Act or the Patriot Act that the government is now having to reconsider, having acted in haste, and having seen the repercussions of their actions?

It's not a mystery that this type of thing should not be allowed. But, it's incredibly horrifying, that it's happening today...

Key turning points in recent US History - where we are now

9-11-2001 - an attack on American soil - no greater and no worse than any other 'minor' incidences that had been occurring over the years, trying to justify little 'wars' and 'scuffs' we were involved in - but shown by the media in such large proportions that the whole of America became enraged, has begun our next, major shift.

The period between 1985 and 2000 was fairly uneventful. Usually, for major turning points in 'recent' history, I would look toward longer periods of time, or make things inclusive. But, in this case, the Patriot Act, abused by the government on American soil, allowing them to create laws and commit acts in direct violation of the Constitution, acting as terrorists against our own people - is of tremendous significance.... because it hasn't stopped.

The lessons learned by the government: bring the attack to American soil, use media propoganda to scare the people into letting you do what you want, pass bills without their permission or knowledge of what it says in there, get away with what you want, get richer and more powerful, allow capitalists to encourage economy growth by supporting military/government actions.... had ALL been implemented in one, fell swoop. Soon, this dramatic violation of Constitutional rights (not the first or largest mind you - but dramatic indeed), would cascade throughout all of America, eventually giving rise to special interest groups attack the pledge of allegiance (another conspiracy I will digress upon for now), interfering in the separation of church and state, interfering in our daily lives and freedoms, and allowing the heads of our governmental body to proceed unquestioned and unchecked, were a devastating blow to this country. Now, no one specific person or party is to blame. By this time, so much apathy, desensitization, separation of financial classes, continued segregation of races through darwinistic principals and increased fascism (control of the people through governmental force, where they don't get to do anything to stop it), were all so rampant, that the passing of this act, and its abuse, were inevitable. I've already said enough in earlier articles on this site to justify my reasons to even use the word, 'fascism,' that I won't get into it here. But, know this - fascism, capitalism, socialism and democracy were all being combined into a form of government known as marxist socialism. This is the same government which originally ruled over NAZI Germany, the USSR (not soviet union - as "true" communism, without the injection of marxist socialism, is NOT what you are usually told by the media to think it is), and which had to start somewhere.

Today, we have a government trying to displace blame for the economic condition on past governments, still keeping that state of deception and uncertainty, constant amongst the people. But, what can we learn from these past few KEY turning points:

  • that when the economy is low,
  • the international standards of trade are in fluz,
  • people are becoming destitute and desparate,
  • the economy NEEDS turned around?

We can learn this:

  • That the government will take control of the media.... and folks.. its already here.. but is becoming more and more prevalant.
  • That the government will crack down on their control of the people... and that too, through the "justice" system, is already here.
  • That innocent people MUST die... and it's coming... so be worried.. very worried... (especially as our troops are being "positioned" for Afghanistan.. although.. technically... what's there for us to go 'after' to "protect" AMERICAN soil?), hmmm....
  • That people must become financially destitute and desperate enough to look to the government for answers, accepting anything they do... but people, aren't we accepting their so-called, "stimulus" packages because we ARE desperate, hoping ONE of them will be for us? Isn't unemployment going up?

And then.. war. War that spurs on economic growth, that encourages greater exportation of goods, and that involves all of us.

Take from this what you want. I'm just looking at the recent, last 100-year trend in our history for MAJOR turning points, and when I see things like the "demand" that we move to "digital" television so that radio-antennae, air-wave broadcasts are silenced (much like the government did with radio AND television prior to the past 2, world wars), I can't help but get that nervous feeling... that history is bound to repeat itself.
