The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 1

Brought to me this morning to publish for you folks:

It's interesting what has transpired in the last 2 years, and especially the last two weeks of my life, given what I heard on Glenn Beck's talkshow this morning. A caller identified herself as an older mother who felt the only way to stop the tyranny of the government was to stop paying taxes (which I've been saying for a while now, although not advocating it). After an emotional outcry, Glenn told her that the most important thing for her to remember, was that she was a mother, and it would be better to be at home with her child of 10 years, showing to them what the meaning of freedom was, rather than sitting in jail, away from their little one.

Freedom. That's an interesting thought. Because, you see, just recently, I was told by a great many sources, that if I didn't surrender my freedom; if I didn't give in to the lies and tyranny of the corrupted public officials and law enforcement, that I too, would be away from my child and hurting him, and that was not the best answer. Of course, what choice did I have? When the government can hold my child over my head, like some sort of bargaining chip, than I am, truly helpless. When the people we place in charge of law and law enforcement are permitted to lie and act without accountability (think your politicians are corrupted? Try following it down the trail back to the "little" guy, and remember where those politicians came from and what they were before politicians), then We, the People, of this most perfect union, are deprived of our Constitutional rights, labeled as dangerous lawbreakers and thrown to the wolves by our peers who are ignorant of the truth behind the facts.

But, I had to make a choice. My child, or my freedom. Am I teaching him about freedom by doing what I did? I don't know. He will hear a great many things said about me now that will forever affect his life. I will spend the rest of my life labeled and in purgatory on Earth because an overzealous and corrupted Congress passed corrupted laws that are enforced by a broken system.

But, I'm just whining because I lost, right? I'm just guilty of everything charged and am only trying to cover up the facts, right? After all, that's what they say on the news. That's what "Oprah," blasts all over the media and her show. That's what the "honest," and "sincere," news reporters and Congress people tell you everyday. No, no - forget all the other lies. Thinking that these people lie all the time and about everything would just be absurd. True, but absurd. And, no, forget about the media, because we know for a FACT, that news only reports facts that are true and accurate, right?

Because, if I was guilty, why would the prosecution "use," against me, my own ten year old child, showing me that he would be ripped away from me and left to a dangerous world should I do what's right and fight for my innocence and freedom. And, why would any prosecution lie about prosecuting somebody? It's not like they get PAID, the more they prosecute. That would just be ridiculous, because it might undermine the entire purpose of protecting the public interest. And, don't tell me about the dishonesty of the police, or the corruption therein, simply because the State says that: The authorities have a right to lie to people, to make false promises and threaten them to get a "confession." Of course, I do "see," the fallacy in "innocence," pleas, such as Alford pleas, that are merely shells over a guilty plea, whereby one is required to assert that they haven't been threatened or coerced into the plea. Because, if I was, I am going to trial and would be gambling with my child's life. It's better that I do as the mafia.. um, oops.. sorry - Freudian slip there - the authorities require, and accept guilt for something I didn't do, in order to defend the FREEDOMS for my son.

Freedom. What a joke. The Bible says that the very basic element of God's gift of life is: free will. But, we're not free. We can't choose to make the mistakes to get us in trouble and learn from them. We can't choose right and wrong. Your television and radio and even the internet blast you daily - hourly - minute by minute - with senseless garbage telling you how to live. Your cable companies switch to high definition because you HAVE to buy a high def tv. The cell phone companies switch to new "frequencies," albeit worse reception, so that you have to buy texting/internet phones. You can't own property. You can't have food from your own two hands of hard work. You can't breathe air without paying for it. You can't have water without paying for it. (taxes on all of that for those of you that didn't get the meaning there). You can't WALK IN THE FREAKIN' FORESTS WITHOUT PAYING A FEE.

But, my son will have a father (that is, if the system doesn't push this even farther and try to mess me over even more - which I am fully prepared to accept that it might). Is he free? By no means. Just today, on the news, was the report of a 14 year old boy with pics on his phone of girls his age. While we shouldn't have our children running around doing this - the girls who sent him pictures - will see no punishment, while he, will face criminal charges for indecent child images. The fact: HE'S A CHILD. Heaven forbid my son gets ahold of an adult magazine ever, or is so into girls that he can't control his hormones without intervention. But, I wouldn't be turning him into the police, in an attempt to turn the girls in who are acting this way - because my child would go to prison for being - A CHILD. Yeah, that's freedom.

The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 2

What is the point of living, when we can't even exercise our free will anymore? Sure - you say: I exercise my free will because I choose to obey the law! Really? Is the knowledge of good and evil, as decreed by the Tree of Life and Heaven above, now defined by the same people who harm others, steal our money and commit human acts of attrocity against one another? Becuase, if so - you can't win. You can't keep up with their changing laws. The rights protected by the Republic - through the Constitution - are gone. If you suffer from irritable bowl syndrome and have to stop on the side of the road to urinate, and just one look-e-loo who can't mind their own business sees you - you have to be registered for life as a sex offender! WHAT? WHAT FREEDOM? The freedom to speak out loud? Really? Have you tried to exercise that lately? In public? Go ahead - but please - be careful, I don't want anyone to find out the hard way just how bad the situation has become. Still don't believe me? Still think I'm just "complaining?" Try this on for size:

The recent New York Mayor's "sting," to analyze the ease with which weapons could be obtained took place in Ohio, Tennesse and Nevada. The laws in Ohio state that it is not necessary to have a license or permit to buy a gun. In Tennesse, the State also does not have many of the rules that the "undercover," cops were there to test. WHAT? Wait - WHY were they there? What right did the Mayor of New York have in costing tax payers a nice, big chunk of money, to undermine the independence of these States? Look, I'm not questioning the actions of the sellers at the shows - they could have been very wrong - I don't know. What I am questioning is the ILLEGAL actions of the authorities! Are these sellers secure in their persons or things? Are they permitted FREE TRADE under the Capitalist system? NO!

What’s going on? Want to see “freedom,” being abolished: just read the laws regarding the Brady Background Check from Nevada:

  • is an ex-felon.
  • is an illegal alien.
  • has been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
  • has renounced U.S. citizenship.
  • has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
  • is under indictment or information for a [crime] punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

BEFORE YOU JUDGE – BEFORE YOU SAY ONE WORD – lest you be more wicked than they, let me break this down for you:

1.       An ex-felon – someone who has PAID THEIR DEBT TO SOCIETY – but now shall be held without the same Constitutional freedoms as any other. WHAT are we doing? How do we expect “law” to provide reform, when we punish people for their whole lives? How do the people who make these laws expect the people to act – when THEY THEMSELVES, create harmful and harassing laws to govern the people?

2.       An illegal alien – hey, I’m not in support of illegal immigration – but this is NOT to protect the public interest – did you know that? This IS to protect the cops who go hunting these guys down. Maybe, if we had a better system, created better laws, were more “just,” and “decent,” as we, as a country, so blatantly claim to be, standing vainly before the world – we wouldn’t HAVE THIS PROBLEM! Fix one problem of Constitutional violations by creating another Constitutional violation? Only in America…. *sigh*

3.       Has Renounced U.S. Citizenship – that’s right! If you’re not with us – you’re against us! You’re a “commie!” I digress – please watch “Battle for Terra,” a very WELL DONE, and amazingly wonderful show for families of all ages, and try to understand the horrifically deranged, mental attitude that must be adopted in order to support this decision.

4.       Convicted of misdemeanor of Domestic Violence – You mean, like, their kid, while high on drugs, tried SHOOTING his mom, but dad stepped in, disarmed his kid, and struck him in the face in the process to try and bring him down and the cops arrested dad for being a violent offender against children, but in retrospect, based on a SCREWED UP system, dad only got a misdemeanor because he only hit his son once, trying to stop him from killing his own mother while high? Yeah – makes PERFECT SENSE.

5. Now – I’m going to take an extra special look at this one – because all the others – you can justify with the mental, hysteria, media-driven, brain dead mentality that governs most Americans as my just being another ignorant person who believes in Constitutional freedoms. But, this one – “is under indictment or information for a punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.” Do you KNOW what constitutes an “indictment,” by a grand jury or the truth behind these fictitious documents? Try reading more about it if you want to have your brain blown away! Here are some facts:

  • Grand Jury indictments are used in only half of the States of this Republic, because according to the 5th amendment of the Constitution – THEY ARE ILLEGAL.
  • Grand juries do NOT require ALL of the evidence, and no one is allowed to defend themselves prior to being indicted.
  • Prosecutors – include those who have been proven to lie repeatedly – are left to “good faith,” in presenting the so-called “facts.”
  • GRAND JURORS ARE NOT SCREENED FOR BIASES! That’s right – hate-mongers, family members of police and prosecutions – and all the rest – sit on these panels!

WELCOME TO FREE AMERICA. Yes – YOU can be indicted while sitting at home, with your family, in the quiet of the evening, reading scriptures together. You can be indicted while on vacation. YOU can be lied about – legally – without accountability to the lying party. YOUR indictment will sit on your record – for life. And, based on this LIE – you can be denied your right to go out hunting with your best friend, or keep a gun in your house in Arizona to protect yourself against terrorists who might raid your home, kidnap you, rape and kill you.

THAT’S FREEDOM.

THAT’S YOUR RIGHT TO EXERCISE YOUR FREE WILL AS GRANTED BY GOD.

Oh wait, no it’s not! That’s the OPPOSITE of freedom. Yet, the police went to these shows, with undercover cameras (albeit an ILLEGAL act by ANY other person than the authorities who are given exemption to do ANYTHING they want), and bought guns without background checks where NO background checks were required.

Did you read my last article on “red herrings?” If not – you may want to peruse it – you know, when you’re done getting through this long monstrosity. You see, we will not hear anymore about this. We will hear more and more about innocent people being shot, in the news, while this “investigation,” is underway, so that by the time they present a bill to Congress, they’re sure the people won’t complain about it. Know what the red herring is?

The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 3

The investigation itself is the red herring. Why? Because, this is being done based on they were given a “grant,” from our stimulus money, to do exactly this. And, they’ll get MORE of it when successful. In the Pacific Northwest, the Attorney General of Oregon applied for a more than half a million dollar grant to track down all the internet predators out there – and got it. Guess what’s happened? Magically, the amount of “internet” related busts have increased. But, when you re-read the article – the AG stated that it will allow them to better control illegal abuse of the internet, and “save jobs.”

YES – SAVE JOBS. It was NOT about the world being FULL of internet predators (although this may be true), it was about the police “saving jobs.” It was about – MONEY. And, now, they’ll stop anyone and everyone. Airports, state border patrol, and cops are randomly finding ways to search everyone’s computers and turning in so many of these cases that the Judges between California and Oregon are getting sick of hearing the B.S. and garbage being spewed by the prosecution. But, they have to make their quota and make it look like they’re doing something and didn’t just take OUR MONEY, to “save their jobs.”

The reality is this – freedom is fictitious. It’s a fallacy. Yes, it is important, as Glenn Beck said, to be able to stay at home and teach our children what freedom really is. But, that’s not possible. If we can, we must accept the horrible things the system does to us, to stay at home, and protect our children the best we can from our OWN government. Because, taking the lies they cast upon the innocent will NOT teach our children how to fight for their freedom. It WILL make them cynical and afraid – and THAT’S NOT RIGHT. But, if we can shield them, from the video games, television, commercials, news, politicians, law enforcement and other CORRUPTED agencies masquerading as something “good,” – then maybe – just maybe – they have a chance.

News report 4 days ago – a BOY SCOUT – was kicked out of school pending an investigation against him for bringing a dangerous weapon to school –

A SPORK! (with a fold-out butter knife)

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, A SPORK. But, this wasn’t just any spork-wielding, violent offender – this was a BOY SCOUT. Someone who we MUST fear and run away from! Did the boy do anything wrong with his spork of doom? Did he threaten some child with a simultaneous spooning and forking? Did he threaten to cut the teacher’s butter in half with his butter knife? Nope. He intended to…. Hold on to your seats… EAT WITH IT! Dum, dum, dum, dummmmmm!

A spork. A Boyscout. And, this is America? This is the “free” country, you hate-mongers flame me about, asking me why I just don’t move to Iraq? This is the country who protects its children against the dangerous masses taking arms against them? This is the country where a falsely accused person’s just “whining,” because they were “caught,” because the NEWS told you so?

I’m sorry. I’m sorry for you if you believe ANY of that. I’m sorry for you if you don’t understand, what it means, to be American. I’m praying for you, that you might be blessed by the Lord, to have your eyes opened without violence or suffering, so that you may enjoy the blessings of free agency. I’m praying for your children, that your belief in this “system,” and “giving it a chance,” and “not speaking out to cause ripples in the water,” doesn’t leave them where it left me. Because – you are my brothers and sisters. And, no matter WHAT the system has done to me – I still have an obligation to God to exercise what free will I have left – and that is the free will to care about others. To tell you the truth as I know it to be. To share what I’ve learned that you may understand what’s coming. To speak only of the reality of our situation, that you may find some peace and happiness in avoiding these nightmares.

Good luck, and be well, my brethren.

The REAL problem of the gay marriage proposal

I will refrain from expressing my opinions as to whether or not homosexuality is permissable or not (as it is not my right to judge any other person in this world), I will comment on the problem of the 'gay' marriage proposal, because - it directly involves a violation of our Constitutional rights in this country. Don't see how - let me show you:

You see, the institution of marriage is a sacred and secular one that demands the utmost respect. However, in more modern times (mostly, the last hundred years - although the issues I'm about to address have been around here and there in the past), it has been treated with a level of indignity that does not reflect the respect of the Divine Order which instituted this sacred union. Is that because of 'homosexuality?' Well, only in regards to this most recent proposal of allowing gay marriages. It started back in the beginning of time when married couples fought, disrespected and mistreated one another. It started in a time when men felt they had a right to 'use' women as concubines or servants. However, as society has progressed, one might imagine that those issues have lessened. And, they have. But, not so much as by the actions of the people, but more so by the involvement of Government. When Secular faith and governmental politics crossed, and divorces became an acceptable institution in ALL faiths - the sanctity of that Divine union of a man and woman was severely injured. We may argue that in some cases, a divorce may be necessary, I believe that the first and foremost doctrine on marriage, that offered by Jesus the Christ, clearly resolves that matter. When a man, or a woman, has failed in their duties of an equal union built upon the sanctity of love, friendship, dedication, devotion and a Divine inspiration to be united as one, it is fair to say that they are no longer deserving of that relationship. However - to be 'remarried,' is an issue of such fragilty that the point of chastity of widows and the caring of widows by the common public, as commanded by Jesus the Christ, was lost.

As humans, we are by nature, lazy. We look for an easy way out. In fact, I am first and foremost, amongst you all - the MOST guilty of this. While I strive to live a life that reflects our Heavenly Savior, I too must never forget that I am but a mortal, and prone to error. And, so, avoiding the initiation of actions such as 'remarriage,' would have been a great way to ensure that I (nor anyone else), could not take the 'easy' way out. Instead, we have divorce, remarriage, single parent-hood and a society that is wrought with strife. And, who permits these 'divorces,' or 'remarriages?'

It began with political intervention - yes - the government. No longer does it take a member of the clergy, classes, time, honor and respect to be married. Today, it takes $25 and signing some paperwork in front of a Judge. Congratulations - you have shortcut the ENTIRETY of divine unions and gone straight to the unevolved state of 'monkey-hood,' in which you are resolving your immediate need for gratification and circumventing that which is supposed to be the boundary line of a civilized society - patience and delayed gratification. I'm not saying that this is wrong - for those who haven't the money for a church. It's not wrong for those who haven't yet found a faith. It would be my hope and prayer, that one day, within their divine union, they would seek for a higher power (as the ONLY TRUE PRINCIPAL BEHIND MARRIAGE IS TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED IN THE EYES OF GOD). Of course, the government has dramatically mislead the people into accepting its role as a higher power. Now comes the point of gay marriages -

If this were REALLY about 'insurance' policies, don't you think the government, that is issuing out mandates permitting gay marriages, could also create mandates forcing insurance companies to modify their policies? They do it EVERY day. In fact, permitting gay marriages does NOT mean that a couple can walk into just 'any' church and be married. It takes away the secular basis of an individual claiming to have divine authority and replaces it with governmental - man's - temporal authority. Yes, the same men who get divorced, partake of domestic violence and other such acts, are now the governing authority over gay marriages. So, what TRUE sanctity is there? In fact, if a minister of a church were to establish his own church and accept doctrines of homosexuality, gay and lesbian individuals could most certainly be married. The government accepts a so-called 'minister,' dressed as Elvis, marrying two people for $25, in proxy, it can most certainly accept the doctrines of any established faith. Those of a homosexual persuasion could have sought to establish their own insurance company with policies allowing support for 'life-partners.' So why is this such an issue?

It's an issue - it's in the news - and it has the world's attention because once again, we are watching the government interject into the private lives of individuals and destroy the purpose and foundation of America. This country was founded to allow individuals to be unique and different without political intervention. The freedom of religion was founded to be unique without political intervention. If the States pass a law mandating that gay marriage is to be allowed, what freedoms for the secular faiths that oppose this is there? Should the LDS, the Seventh Day Adventists or any of the others have to change what they believe to be divine providence to permit gay marriage? When does the church's "freedom," no longer have value in the eyes of the law? When is the law no longer a standard of equality which the Constitution designed for all peoples of this nation, because it intrudes on the lives of others? The answer is clear: when it strives to change the laws for some, depriving others of their freedoms. That's the very foundation upon which law is designed. An individual is free to do what they want until it impedes another in some egregious manner. Murder, rape, theft, abuse - all impede on the rights of another. Now, the sacredness and privacy and privilege of a church to do as they will be their divine inspiration has been impeded upon.

Is there a fix? Yes, the State governments could have mandated that they will recognize, legally, anyone who is homosexual in marriage. That is not to say, they pass a law 'allowing it,' as freedom of religion should have allowed it from the beginning - regardless of any moral opinions on it being right or wrong. The State governments could have mandated that they will require insurance companies to act upon the policies of non-discrimination including secular, marital or otherwise, that they promote in their contracts, upholding the standards of fair business practices. But, we're faced with one more dilemma-

How do we stand for or against such an institution? If we support this institution, the we encourage the government to continue to intervene in our private and secular lives, taking away not only our freedom, but specifically robbing us of it as mentioned before. If we stand for it, we acknowledge that we have no rights. If we stand against it, we must petition the government. But, how do we do that, without also telling the Government that we want their intervention into our private and secular lives?

The only thing we can do is petition our churches, if we believe in it or against it, to take a stand either way. Either allow it, or don't. And, it will be up to each one of us to take accountability for our OWN actions and our OWN selves and not spend time judging others or worrying about what other people are doing. If our secular faith lets us down (either way), we will have to find a new, spiritual direction. But, if today, for example, we were to protest gay marriage and have the government intervene, what's to stop them from requring secular faiths to institute other, non divinely inspired rules? What's to stop the government from marching in on the doors of an organized faith and demand they comply or pay the penalty? At what point is it egregious toward us, the people, that our tax dollars are being spent for the government to circumvent 'good' business practices of insurance companies in non discriminatory issues and instead, impede upon the individual (because we're an easier target - even though WE'RE the taxpayers)? At what point is my voice now stifled from being able to say anything, for or against this matter, because government intervention was wrong in the first place, and to have them intervene again would be just as wrong (as we all know, contrary to the current, political agenda of this country - two wrongs actually DON'T make a right)?

Ask yourself - Do YOU want the same people who have a history of cheating their taxes, bouncing checks, getting multiple divorces, partaking in prostitution, facing criminal matters and so on to make YOUR secular decisions? Then you must confront your church and stand on your own principals - even if you are alone - much in the same way our Heavenly Savior did, and state what you believe and demand that the secular organization which answers to YOU - it's congregation - upholds those standards. But, before you do - make sure you're not judging, passing judgment or acting for yourself. Because, if you are - IF - you are acting upon your own heart and selfishness, then what makes you ANY different than those people who involved the government in the first place and demanded gay marriage be supported? I'm not scolding them for their gender-based preferences, but for being the few who felt it necessary to impede upon the rights of others without consideration for the hearts of the masses, but themselves. Because, truthfully - marriage is NOT a ring. Marriage is NOT a minister. Marriage is NOT a legal recognition. Marriage is a bond, between two people, that will stand the test and trials of their lives, based on love, friendship and equality. Marriage is an act of two hearts and God. That's it. The 'ceremonies,' are just that - ceremonies. Even if you're in a faith that believes the ceremonies necessary to be acknowledged by God - the truth is - God sees our hearts. He knows our most sincere and deepest desires. He is not fooled by rings and ceremonies. He knows if two people are so insincere that divorce is in their future.

And, ONLY HE KNOWS. Not us. Not men or women. We must act on our own agency, will, desires and freedom - but we must remember always - that what we do today will have SEVERE consequences, good or bad, on what comes tomorrow. And, I think THIS is a perfect example of that.

It's all about the control...

More hypocrisy and communistic totalitarianism from the Pacific Northwest...

Oregon state to join in the ban on the sale of novelty lighters.

Why? According to the city of sandy's fire marshall, "kid's brains aren't equipped to understand their curiosity with fire and the inherent danger in playing with lighters or matches." (Paraphrased in part). In other words- because kids can start fires with them (don't worry- the government's not including matches, gasoline or regular lighters because obviously THOSE can't be used to start fires, too... Right? Wait a second...)

In reply to this, others have argued that it is the responsibility of parents, not the government, to control what their kids' do. However, the fire marshall explained that the item that kills more kids per year than guns should not be made to look like a toy (irregardless of the toy grenades and semi-automatic police gear that looks real...). The fire marshall went on to explain that the ban will be intended to protect children whose parents are irresponsible...

Sounds fair in the bigger scheme of things, I suppose. Protect children from parents who don't bother to teach them about fire safety and just let them wildly run around starting fires.

But, why novelty lighters? If the kids' aren't taught the difference between right and wrong, it doesn't matter if it's a matchbook, a regular lighter or a lighter that looks like a car- they're going to play with it. But, did the novelty lighter makers design them with the intent to harm children? Obviously - no. Just some person with an entrepeneural spirit figured out a way to sell a .99 cent lighter for $4 bucks- and good for them!

When- not if - this law passes, the entrepeneurs will pay the price. The stores that already show the responsibility to only sell lighters to adults-will pay the price. Adults who purchase novelty lighters or collect them (as the fire marshall admitted to doing herself), will pay the price. But, that's not even the bad part.

You see, the parents who are responsible and teach their kids that because something looks fun, doesn't mean it is, will pay the price. Why? Water looks fun, doesn't it? Are we going to ban lakes and rivers? Several people, every year, die in the local lakes and rivers, ignoring the laws and not being skilled enough to swim!

What about driving? Cars look cool, don't they? but, do parents 'let' their children drive their cars before they are trained? For the most part, 99% don't. But, where do we draw the line between curiosity and accident? Where do we draw the line between neglect and sneakiness? Worse- when mom and dad are no longer the authority figures, how do children's fragile minds distinguish between following what their parents say and just doing whatever they want, believing the government has removed all of the obstacles?

Do we want our children hurt, I say, no! But a lego is a toy, and I have to teach my child not to swallow it. The plug outlet on the wall 'looks' like a toy to the mind of a child and I have to teach them not to touch it.

Is it a problem that the government can tell us, as adults, what WE get to enjoy and not enjoy? I'm sorry- no more drinking glasses with cute sayings because you're too irresponsible to teach your kids it's meaning!! Where does it end (because, now we know where it begins)? Did making toy guns look less real stop kids from liking them or using real guns? Maybe statistics say 'yes,' but I'm not a big believer in so-called 'statistics'.

When do we, as parents, stop worrying about our children's well being because uncle sam has us covered? Do we, as parents, have a right to raise our children the way we see fit (within obvious, appropriate boundaries)? Our we Constitutionally protected to be secure in our homes and families?

When do we have a right to tell the government, 'no,'? You see, this is the problem with our government- no representation. Either congress does as they please, or minority groups with the monetary backing fight to make themselves look important, not caring about the consequences of their actions.

But, hey, half the people on Obama's staff aren't being held accountable for breaking the law, so why should anyone in congress have to be? Our tax monies are going wherever the gvt. Chooses without our say-so, so why should they represent us anywhere else?

There it is, folks. The exemplification of Democracy's failure in America. The breakdown of moral standards and ethics. I wonder when the first court hearing will take place for the person who shows the gall to buy a novelty lighter... Or maybe decorates their own? I wonder when the laws will be expanded by the next minority group to ban bar-b-ques because they present a danger?

Remember, it's NOT about protecting our kids. We, as parents, work hard to protect our kids everyday, including protection from corrupted gvt officials and law enforcement. It's about the systematic decline of your individual rights, the long-term harm to your families and the effects on your children.

For those of you who still support this move, maybe you'd like to also encourage the minority group that tried to ban the pledge of allegiance from schools? Or, maybe you're glad that the boy scouts of America were punished for firing a scout leader who wanted to teach children about gay sex. Think they're different issues? Think again, because-

It's about control. Pure, totalitarian authority that otherwise ONLY existed under monarchies, communist regimes and the like. Heck, maybe tomorrow instead of oregon just banning 'books' from school (which they do, including American classics nationally accepted elsewhere), we can burn them, too? At least we'll have a use for all those left-over, novelty lighters....

*sigh* land of the free... Home, of the brave?

The trouble with "special" advocacy groups

Is it wrong to advocate for change? Of course it's not! The whole point of free will is that when people are fully educated on a subject (mind you - I'm not talking about the majority of America, but those few who listen to ALL the issues and form their OWN opinions), they can contribute positively toward changes that will help us move toward a better tomorrow. This kind of change involves the whole of humanity, the majority of people - not the special interest groups. Why?

Special interest groups serve a 'small' portion of society. They represent a 'small,' portion of society, and their knowledge usually starts and stops there. They are motivated by emotion, not logic. They are out to make a change with the immediate need for self gratification. And, therein lies the trouble..... that which distinguishes us from primates is:

Delayed gratification.

You see, monkeys operate on primal instincts - aka - pure emotion. If they need food, they go eat. But, maybe, that means that if the monkey next to them has food, they'll just take it. This obviously leads to conflict and thus, we have a clear separator between homo sapien erectus and .... the monkey. The justice system tends to be a slow, poorly oiled and often corrupted machine - on BOTH sides of the fence. This often drives D.A.'s and law enforcement to resort to 'shoot first and ask questions later' style tactics that result in innocent people being injured, for no good or apparent reason. But, there are oft times small groups of people, like those at NoBAC.org, who feel they have been personally harmed through the tragic death or injury of a loved one or friend, and in their immediate need to 'rectify' that pain and undo it, they don't want to rely on the justice system, the law, or even God, they let their emotions get the better of them, and they turn outward, exercising their power through money, law enforcement and politics to push through their 'immediate' gratification.

Oh sure, you can go on the website and read the horror stories about how drunk drivers destroyed the lives of innocent men, women and children. And, it will most certainly pull on your heart strings (for those who might actually read this website - refer to my previous post on the D.A. using this same tactic in court rooms instead of facts and evidence). You will feel the same anger, hurt and frustration they do. You will MOST certainly be driven to the emotion of fear. And, folks - that is one of THE most POWERFUL emotions, standing side-by-side, with love.

You see, the website's not there because they care about the people they love. The website's there because they are afraid, and they want you to be afraid, too. It may look at first like it's filled with love through 'poetry' and the heart-wrenching tears of those who have lost, but the truth is this: if someone's dead, they're dead. We most certainly don't want to see anyone else suffer, but revenge, hatred, anger - is THAT what your loved one wanted you to go through? Did the person you care about want their death to drive you to fear and hatred? I know that if I lost my own child (Heaven forbid..as it would probably kill me), I would most certainly share many of those same emotions because I'm human. But, it's also my humanity that would say: I have to trust in God. Through God, He will affect the laws that will one day bring about an equality of justice. I will not HATE the person that wrongs my son or myself. I will defend him with my life. I will live for him - I will lay down my life for him. But, what justice would I do my son if I acted in anger and vengeance - ignorant of my human abilty to delay gratification? For, if I did this thing - I would be no different than the drunk driver who, under their immediate need for gratification drank without thought of the consequence. I would have turned into the very thing that killed him, and his death would mean nothing.

So, how does this relate to noBAC.org? It's this: they want the BAC contents to not be scaled based on level of intoxication, but have ANY reading count. ANY reading. Did you know, or were you aware, that more than 50% of you, right now, out there in America, will show up at least at a .01%? Your body naturally produces ethanol molecules, and the error rates in the intoxilyzer machines are so high, that the majority of states in the union won't even use them, and those that do, are constantly having to get rid of their 'older' series models and upgrade because of the constantly erroneous readings!! Did you know that if you have acid reflux/gerds, you WILL... not can... you WILL show up at an added several point increase? If you have hypoglycemia or diabetes, in states that require IID's (interlock ignition devices), you don't even have to use them because they know for a FACT that your disorder will cause an unusually high reading!!

What does this mean? Should we ignore drunk driving? No. There are FAR better ways to handle the matter (and I've posted it in previous articles - so I'll let you take the time to read). But, let's say a family slams into you, their son dies and you're given a BAC. Guess what? If you had gerd's, you know the fear, pain and emotions you're going through has more likely than not, set it off - and if noBAC were to get their way, you would be charged with drunk driving. If you're a painter, on your way home from work, and you get into a car accident - EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT - you will be charged with drunk driving (as the majority of all paint has high enough levels of ethanol molecules to cause a false reading). And, it's PROVEN, that if you smoke, or EAT certain types of BREAD - you'll get a reading on the BAC and blammo - straight to prison, don't pass go, don't collect $200, and have YOUR life, your CHILD'S life and YOUR family's life - destroyed.

But, hey - that's okay. You see, the people... rather monkeys... at noBAC are hungry. And, they're willing to deprive YOU to fulfill their immediate need. Maybe you WERE guilty - and you DID drink and drive - but what right has any group, who simply wants their banana, to hurt innocents in the quest to get to you? Do you see how logic is lost in this? Do you see how emotion has driven people down the wrong path? The punishments for drunk driving are already so severe, that if you haven't witnessed it yet, I can most assuredly give you horror stories that will wrench your stomach. But, it doesn't stop drunk driving, sad to say. The cops are profiting from it big time. And, what's worse, as I've posted in a previous article that the solution comes from taking the money AWAY from law enforcement and put towards actually FIXING the problem, there are a multitude of officers in Oregon, including one whom I happen to personally know is corrupt and a liar, supporting the noBAC move. This will most assuredly convince Congress... to see their proud and noble men and women of law enforcement supporting the bill.

But, we know why they are, don't we? What happens to their budget if suddenly, EVERY stop they make can turn into a DUII? Their cash levels go through the ROOF! What? You think they WANT people to stop drinking? HAHAHAHAHA - obviously - you haven't read the other articles on here... but I'll digress for now. No, they support this special rights group, along with the department of justice, because NONE of them care about justice. The monkeys at the bottom want their bananas, and so do the monkeys up high. The bottom monkeys are looking for punishment of everyone so they can feel justified. The monkeys on top are looking for gold so they can improve their bottom line.

What's the REAL danger? It's not just instant gratification - no - rather, it's a resort back to a legal system we fled away from. Do you know why "beyond a reasonable doubt" was REALLY put into our justice system? The Salem witch trials. go read on it. The most infamous case was a husband, who, in a fit of jealousy, accused his wife of being a witch. She begged and pleaded to him in the courtroom to tell the people the truth, and the courts relied on him ENTIRELY for the answer (of course, the original bible thumpers of this country forgetting that Christ said that where there are not 2 or 3 witnesses, let no person stand accused). He said she was, just to fulfill his anger. And, she died.

But, that's NOT the kicker - amazingly enough. Plenty of people died that way...

The husband, by helping with enforcing laws that supported 'instant gratification,' soon found himself at the accusing end of being a witch. And, after a long, drawn out court battle, was crushed to death, slowly, beneath a door, being covered by rocks, his bones slowly cracking, his muscles ripping, his pulse pounding and screaming in pain until he died. (Salem claims that to this day, the Sheriff's of the town are haunted by this man... hee hee).

So, what's the REAL problem? It's that the people at noBAC, just like the people at MADD, will soon find themselves at the other end of the very same law enforcement that was supporting their cause. Hmm.... did noBAC learn ANYTHING from MADD? Nope. Instead, they forget their humanity and act upon their primal - and they will suffer. But, not before the innocent masses before them suffer. If one small group, with a specialized interest in their OWN, personal agendas, not the well-being of the masses, can push through laws, then we end up with some very, serious trouble.

Anyone remember the group trying to throw out the pledge of allegiance from classrooms?
What about the row v wade group?
What about the anti Parental Alienation Awareness Day group?
What about capitalists who have drug this country into the dirt, pushing their own interests through?
People - what about the laws like the Adam Walsh Act or the Patriot Act that the government is now having to reconsider, having acted in haste, and having seen the repercussions of their actions?

It's not a mystery that this type of thing should not be allowed. But, it's incredibly horrifying, that it's happening today...

Why the Bailout didn't work

Well, I've listened to the talk show hosts, Laura Ingram, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Dennis Miller, Bill O'Reilly and almost all of the news stations (CNN... if you call that news... NBC, ABC, CBS, et.al.); and nobody is discussing the 'real' failure of the bailout. [Of course, living on the West Coast, one doesn't get to actually hear these talk shows 'live,' to call in, and they never make email accessible in order to avoid the umpteen billion they would receive on a daily basis! And, I DO apologize to those who have discussed the REAL reason this that bailout, which have existed historically and worked, didn't work!!] To understand the failure, you must first understand the historical relationship between the Government and business. In an article by Gary Bolding, he writes, "The early champion of government involvement in the economy was our first Secretary of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton thought that the way to strengthen the government and economy was to gain the support of the moneyed classes." Government and big business through the National Banking system, designed to support one another was started long ago; and government bailouts soon followed.

Stretching back to the early days of American Motors, the government has offered its assistance to corporations in times of a crisis. As Nelson D. Schwartz with the International Herald Tribue wrote, and istockanalysis.com noted on their website, the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are only the latest in a very long line of Government 'rescues,' designed to help the economy. Whether it was Lockheed or the Penn Stock Railroad by Nixon, or Chrysler by Carter, the government has a history of using consumer tax dollars to save dying companies. Let's examine 'why' they do this:

Historically, when a corporation fails, the economy suffers. Unemployment rises, purchases are down and a cacading effect can be felt. While it has never occurred on the same scale as the depression of the 1920's, there has been a consumer and media-driven panic that it will happen again. Thanks to major disasters such as the Watts Riots, the San Francisco quake and the New York blackout, people live in fear that the impoverished will seek to steal whatever they can when our backs are turned. People fear that the unscrupulous will run rampit, beyond their usual tyrades during major disasters with desperation being an added driver to the criminal vehicle. While there is logic in this, it is a point of failure in our economy that has lead us to the bailout disaster we're in now. But, there was a logic to these historical bailouts. How these bailouts worked is this:

Invest money into a dying corporation, allow them to afford to keep their staff, allow them to produce product at no cost and flood the market with their product at a decreased price, thus, help those who couldn't otherwise afford the product to become long-term customers, the company makes more money than before, there are more successful companies and individuals (thus more tax revenue for the government), and everybody lives happily ever after (another point of logic is that the government doesn't have to increase welfare for the unemployed and the FDIC doesn't take a hit from a bank losses). For those who can't see this yet, let me put it this way (and I'll use fictitious, but simple numbers to keep it simple, because I'm a simple minded person; and we'll pick on GM because they're actually a good company and I can hope they have a sense of humor...):

CREATING THE CRISIS
GM sells 100,000 cars at $100 a piece in one year: Their profit = $10,000,000.00. (Not a bad haul)
Their costs end up being around 70% of that profit: $$7,000,000.00: Their pre-tax net profit =: $3,000,000.00 (still, not shabby)
The government requires 20% [or $2,000,000] of their profit (from that $10 million mind you...): Their total net profit: $1,000,000.00 (still.. it's profit.. right? - note, I'm being REALLY nice about the taxes right now....)
Now GM has: $1,000,000.00 to start out the next year with.

Year 2 - GM wants to produce 150,000 cars, knowing that the demand/population is up - but remember what it cost before? ($7 million for those of you not paying attention). Now they only have $1 million to do this on... so... they borrow from the bank: $10 million (to give them a little extra working capital, as their expenses will be higher, they may need a new plant, etc.) - and the banks are charging them an interest rate of 8% ($800,000).
Now - do all the math:
Income: $17,000,000 (to account for inflation, higher sales tags, etc.)
Expenses: $13,000,000 (to account for inflation, cost of living increases, etc.)
Borrowed Money Expenses: $1,000,000 (by the time we look at inflation, compounding interest, etc.)
Cost of new building (for the increased production): $5,000,000 (but they'd only pay off $2,000,000 of that this year)
Net profit before taxes: $2,000,000
Government Taxes (22% with inflation, higher sales/staff/property/etc. and out of the original $17 mil): $3,740,000
Net loss after taxes: $1.74 million.

Now - an accountant/analyst will look at this and tell you it's all wrong and go into the looooong, boring details of why. Of course, the reality is - this is the way business grows - it takes a risk, knowing that it may take a loss, but knowing that soon enough, that $5 million dollar building will be paid off, they'll be able to triple production and the amounts will balance out.

But, something happens.....

The national debt grows... interests rates are hiked, investment interest rates are lowered, the minimum wages are forcibly increased, special interest groups start making all sorts of new requirements that cost money - and lose jobs - less jobs, higher costs, production is down. Now the business is suffering, and their borrowing rate increases until they are in a crisis! Let's look at the end consumer side:

At first, the cars cost $14,000 (by the time it reaches the car lot).... so people are buying
The second year, they may have gone up to $15,500... and while it's higher, the banks are still lending, people are still buying, and there's more people - so more consumers means the prices can stay down (this is the success in America, not my wallet, anti-greed principal).
By the third year, in order to meet the net loss, the car manufacturer jacks up the price - and consequently, so do the car lots: $20,000.00

Wow... that's a HUGE increase. Less people can afford new cars, they stick to their old cars or used car lots begin cropping up like wildfire, and while an increased population is supporting continued sales - a high demand object (which should naturally encourage higher production and profit for the manufacturer), is now a no longer affordable object - and everyone, all the way back to the manufacturer is hurt - and now we leave the success in America principal, and as wallets tighten - the greed factor kicks in. Prices... increase.

But, that's not all. Here's the REAL kicker. The government, in their effort to increase the size of their wallets starts making rules. More, and more, they make - more rules. You can't drive without a seatbelt - $150. You can't have a cell phone with you while driving - $150. You can't drive West on Tuesday because Friday the sun rises in the East (or whatever other rules they come up with to make YOUR life better, everyone's life safer - because we all know, that if the government doesn't hold our hands, we're going to be incapable of feeding ourselves) - the government changes the rules. But, they justify it, you see. More accidents mean MORE government services, ie. ambulances, police, sheriff, state police, helicopters, new cop cars, new city cleaning crews, more road departments, a raise for Congress and a partridge in a pear tree!! So, they hire 4 new cops to sit in cars with a speed gun, using gasoline, and after all expenses are counted, creating an expense of $150,000 in a year, PER officer (to save the increase in population of 20,000 people, of course costs $600,000.00 - being again, REALLY, really nice about what they really cost us!). But, in order to afford that - and the raise for Congress - is going to increase taxes. It increases the manufacturer's taxes and the consumer's taxes - and now, there are less cars being purchased...

So - here we are: The crisis point!

TRADITIONAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS BAILOUTS
In the past, when this type of situation occurs (of course, perpetuated by increased taxes - government, increased interest rates - government, anti driving rules - government, increased costs to manufacturers, salesmen, etc. - greedy business owners, false belief that we can get loans and feel safe about it - gullible American public - and so on and so on) - the Government steps forth to help the company.
(remember before we head into the next section - that 'the Government,' does not make money - this is YOUR money - the consumer):

So, in this bogus scenario, GM is ready to declare bankruptcy. The government sees that they are in debt by $100,000,000.00; that it will take $200,000,000.00 to produce the amount of cars they need to meet next year's original projections (plus), at no cost to the company and that this will keep the employees employed, get the banks and lenders paid off to prevent a crisis for the lending institutions, and allow the cars to be sold for 40% less than what they were the previous year.

So, GM now builds 500,000 cars at no cost. They would have put them on the market for $15,000 a piece - but, due to the bailout, they put them on the market for $10,000 a piece. No big deal - they're making ALL profit. There will be enough money left over to afford production for 2 more years at no cost, invest in a new building to increase production and technology - and keep the costs to the end consmers, down!
The car salesmen are told they the cars must sell for 40% less than last year. Well, last year, they were already charging $25,000 per car and were going to make $8,000 a piece. But, this year, they can't sell them for more than $15,000.00, and will make their $5,000 a piece. The banks are paid off and told to lend more money for car loans and encourage car loans - so they do. And, what happens?

Half a million cars sell for $15,000 a piece. People who couldn't afford them, now can. People who needed them for work, companies that needed them for productivity and entrepeneurs who want to offer new services, ALL get to buy cars, increasing the tax payer base for the government (in the hopes it will help, in the long-term, off-set what they gave to the manufacturer out of our pocket). Next year, GM will produce 600,000 cars, meeting the demand, the car manufacturers will still sell the cars cheaply, the car salesmen will jack up the prices a little, but not much, to still keep them affordable - and there is the circle of profit (versus the circle of life). The principals are simple:
More product at a lower price means more consumers, more income, more taxes and improved economics
Extending lines of credit means more opportunity, more risktakers - but also more successful venturers.

THE FAILURE OF THE NEW BAILOUT PROGRAM
THE HISTORY LEADING US UP TO IT
With more taxpayers at a higher income rate, we don't need to increase taxes. With more productivity from the car companies, businesses can afford to hire more people. And, it works, right?

Uh - oh - here comes the reason 'why' you hear the radio and television talk show hosts CONSTANTLY warning YOU - the consumer, against the government 'trying,' to 'fix,' things. Here comes the logic behind that argument that you're TRYING to pretend doesn't exist:

The government DOES increase taxes. What? Wait? Why? Aren't there already more taxes being paid? Won't there be more taxpayers in the next year? Well, yes, there will. And, yes, the above plan works for a very, very long time, because the banks are spreading the wealth amongst the people by offering loans and investing in people. But, then we get credit agencies like Equifax, Checksystems and other government and private organizations designed to help save the businesses BY HURTING THE PEOPLE. But, wait - isn't it difficult to 'predict' a failure in someone's credit or spending using a blanket technique? Oh no.... of course not. You can apply the same, one-type principal to 180 million... MILLION working Americans, and it will be the same for all of them.... NOT! But, they did it.

And, guess what else? The government sees the new money coming in - and - yup, you guessed it... "$CaChing!" New raises for Congress (because we know that they don't have to work any more than those members of Congress who were in place 50 years ago.... wait... that doesn't make sense?) The various government agencies who contract with them at 'prime,' rates (for those who don't know - it's like buying the $100 hammer vs. the $20 hammer, but in real business, no conspiracy stuff), get to take their share. Taxation increases because the government sees this - and suddenly, the consumer can't afford the product. The manufacturers realize the potential of increased production, but thanks to cost of living increases, rather have that potential come from less workers - more unemployment and more welfare.. woohoo! The banks and lenders, seeing this trend, and with their credit companies now in place, tighten their belts, invest in a specific few and leave the rest out. Now we get a HUGE separation in classes between the rich and the poor with no end in sight, a more dismal outlook on life and the economy begins to fail. Remember, the unemployment, high prices and other factors aren't only in GM now, they've extended into other businesses and every part of the economy hurts. (this is the simplest of the big picture)

A PLAN OF ACTION - FOR $700 BILLION DOLLARS
So, the government sees what's happened and says: Big business, why for did you hire that CEO at umpteen billion dollars? They say - because you helped screw us. The government says: That can't be, we're doing fine. The businesses and people mumble: yeah, because you're taking OUR money and... oh yeah, helping to SCREW us. The government says, here, I've got an idea:

Let's take $700 billion dollars of our money (wait... hold on... did you catch that? "Our" money? No - not one member of the US Government gave up 'their' paycheck for this - WE did), and let's do the traditional bailout, but since the whole of the economy has suffered, let's do it on a grandiose scale!! And, here comes the failure! Let us look now, at a REAL life example; AIG:

AIG is a worldwide insurance company (world.. not nation... but we're going to save her alone), which, if it fails, will cause a huge increase in welfare demands on the government (no, I didn't say loss of jobs, because I'm giving this to you from the government's point of view so you can try to understand their lunacy, which 'we' accept as normal); put people's pockets at risk so that they won't spend and won't pay taxes and make the banks and lending institutions take more of the tax money for themselves!!

So - AIG is bailed out. What is that successful plan which worked before?
More product, lower costs, continued employment of staff, extending lines of credit, right?

But, that's not... exactly... what happens. AIG's debts, you see, have been sucked up by the greedy, corporate staff. AIG's expenses aren't reliant on a product, but a service, and they can't really be held accountable to 'production' costs. So, here's what happens: AIG pays their corporate staff more. People are laid off and AIG looks to cheaper methods of handling their services. Of course, the lawyers they MUST employ to handle the lawsuits (thanks to - the government - for creating that disaster), now demand more money. AIG has 2 choices:
1. take an insurance policy for $800 for 6 months, make it $500 for 6 months and make it available to more people OR
2. take an insurance policy that is now $800 for 6 months, keep it that way and don't extend credit.

(yes, these are again, fictitious, sample numbers to illustrate the point.. sheesh!)
In choice number 2 (which is what AIG is doing right now), they will get their usual 10,000 people, for  $8,000,000.00 - which, with the bailout, would put them in a fair financial condition for next year.
In choice number 1, AIG would increase their consumer base by 10,000 people, for $10,000,000 people. That's only a $2 million difference - but, now there are more consumers, they've extended credit and their consumer base will continue to double for the next 4 years until that $2,000,000 becomes an added $8,000,000 and they will be pulling in $16,000,000.00 per year.

But, AIG didn't follow the government bailout formula for success. They didn't listen, and they didn't care - because the government didn't care. The government was far too preoccupied with special interest and self interest to follow the formula, although inherintly deficient due to continued governmental actions, that would have helped get our economy back on track for quite some time.

And, that folks - is WHY the bailout, didn't ... and won't.... work. At this point, it's free money for someone's pocket, not for keeping the consumers growing, not for supporting employment and not for the people. How awesome is that?

[And, as a final note, don't forget - that the government's continuing, even in the face of doing this bail out wrong, to make Legislation and decisions that will hurt us anyway! We're paying $1 trillion per year to prisons, jails and law enforcement - and yet, nobody seems to be too happy with it, except for law enforcement!! We're not getting the health system under control by starting at the source of the problems, we're increasing law and legislation to control peoples' individual lives, and yet - in this article we've already seen, that all that does is create such dramatic problems, that $700 billion WON'T fix it! That is MORE than the entire tax income for 2008, which means in 2009 - taxes will have to DOUBLE - and with the unemployment rate growing and the economy suffering - unless WE the people, stand up and rebel, take up against beauracracy and take away the Government's rights to limit our right to fight (ie. we PAY for the Attorney General in every state - and in every state, that VERY expensive office alone, is designed to protect the government from the people - go figure how THAT works??) - this will not last another year - when our debt is then quadrupled beyond repai. Just think about it.]
