The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 1

Brought to me this morning to publish for you folks:

It's interesting what has transpired in the last 2 years, and especially the last two weeks of my life, given what I heard on Glenn Beck's talkshow this morning. A caller identified herself as an older mother who felt the only way to stop the tyranny of the government was to stop paying taxes (which I've been saying for a while now, although not advocating it). After an emotional outcry, Glenn told her that the most important thing for her to remember, was that she was a mother, and it would be better to be at home with her child of 10 years, showing to them what the meaning of freedom was, rather than sitting in jail, away from their little one.

Freedom. That's an interesting thought. Because, you see, just recently, I was told by a great many sources, that if I didn't surrender my freedom; if I didn't give in to the lies and tyranny of the corrupted public officials and law enforcement, that I too, would be away from my child and hurting him, and that was not the best answer. Of course, what choice did I have? When the government can hold my child over my head, like some sort of bargaining chip, than I am, truly helpless. When the people we place in charge of law and law enforcement are permitted to lie and act without accountability (think your politicians are corrupted? Try following it down the trail back to the "little" guy, and remember where those politicians came from and what they were before politicians), then We, the People, of this most perfect union, are deprived of our Constitutional rights, labeled as dangerous lawbreakers and thrown to the wolves by our peers who are ignorant of the truth behind the facts.

But, I had to make a choice. My child, or my freedom. Am I teaching him about freedom by doing what I did? I don't know. He will hear a great many things said about me now that will forever affect his life. I will spend the rest of my life labeled and in purgatory on Earth because an overzealous and corrupted Congress passed corrupted laws that are enforced by a broken system.

But, I'm just whining because I lost, right? I'm just guilty of everything charged and am only trying to cover up the facts, right? After all, that's what they say on the news. That's what "Oprah," blasts all over the media and her show. That's what the "honest," and "sincere," news reporters and Congress people tell you everyday. No, no - forget all the other lies. Thinking that these people lie all the time and about everything would just be absurd. True, but absurd. And, no, forget about the media, because we know for a FACT, that news only reports facts that are true and accurate, right?

Because, if I was guilty, why would the prosecution "use," against me, my own ten year old child, showing me that he would be ripped away from me and left to a dangerous world should I do what's right and fight for my innocence and freedom. And, why would any prosecution lie about prosecuting somebody? It's not like they get PAID, the more they prosecute. That would just be ridiculous, because it might undermine the entire purpose of protecting the public interest. And, don't tell me about the dishonesty of the police, or the corruption therein, simply because the State says that: The authorities have a right to lie to people, to make false promises and threaten them to get a "confession." Of course, I do "see," the fallacy in "innocence," pleas, such as Alford pleas, that are merely shells over a guilty plea, whereby one is required to assert that they haven't been threatened or coerced into the plea. Because, if I was, I am going to trial and would be gambling with my child's life. It's better that I do as the mafia.. um, oops.. sorry - Freudian slip there - the authorities require, and accept guilt for something I didn't do, in order to defend the FREEDOMS for my son.

Freedom. What a joke. The Bible says that the very basic element of God's gift of life is: free will. But, we're not free. We can't choose to make the mistakes to get us in trouble and learn from them. We can't choose right and wrong. Your television and radio and even the internet blast you daily - hourly - minute by minute - with senseless garbage telling you how to live. Your cable companies switch to high definition because you HAVE to buy a high def tv. The cell phone companies switch to new "frequencies," albeit worse reception, so that you have to buy texting/internet phones. You can't own property. You can't have food from your own two hands of hard work. You can't breathe air without paying for it. You can't have water without paying for it. (taxes on all of that for those of you that didn't get the meaning there). You can't WALK IN THE FREAKIN' FORESTS WITHOUT PAYING A FEE.

But, my son will have a father (that is, if the system doesn't push this even farther and try to mess me over even more - which I am fully prepared to accept that it might). Is he free? By no means. Just today, on the news, was the report of a 14 year old boy with pics on his phone of girls his age. While we shouldn't have our children running around doing this - the girls who sent him pictures - will see no punishment, while he, will face criminal charges for indecent child images. The fact: HE'S A CHILD. Heaven forbid my son gets ahold of an adult magazine ever, or is so into girls that he can't control his hormones without intervention. But, I wouldn't be turning him into the police, in an attempt to turn the girls in who are acting this way - because my child would go to prison for being - A CHILD. Yeah, that's freedom.

The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 2

What is the point of living, when we can't even exercise our free will anymore? Sure - you say: I exercise my free will because I choose to obey the law! Really? Is the knowledge of good and evil, as decreed by the Tree of Life and Heaven above, now defined by the same people who harm others, steal our money and commit human acts of attrocity against one another? Becuase, if so - you can't win. You can't keep up with their changing laws. The rights protected by the Republic - through the Constitution - are gone. If you suffer from irritable bowl syndrome and have to stop on the side of the road to urinate, and just one look-e-loo who can't mind their own business sees you - you have to be registered for life as a sex offender! WHAT? WHAT FREEDOM? The freedom to speak out loud? Really? Have you tried to exercise that lately? In public? Go ahead - but please - be careful, I don't want anyone to find out the hard way just how bad the situation has become. Still don't believe me? Still think I'm just "complaining?" Try this on for size:

The recent New York Mayor's "sting," to analyze the ease with which weapons could be obtained took place in Ohio, Tennesse and Nevada. The laws in Ohio state that it is not necessary to have a license or permit to buy a gun. In Tennesse, the State also does not have many of the rules that the "undercover," cops were there to test. WHAT? Wait - WHY were they there? What right did the Mayor of New York have in costing tax payers a nice, big chunk of money, to undermine the independence of these States? Look, I'm not questioning the actions of the sellers at the shows - they could have been very wrong - I don't know. What I am questioning is the ILLEGAL actions of the authorities! Are these sellers secure in their persons or things? Are they permitted FREE TRADE under the Capitalist system? NO!

What’s going on? Want to see “freedom,” being abolished: just read the laws regarding the Brady Background Check from Nevada:

  • is an ex-felon.
  • is an illegal alien.
  • has been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
  • has renounced U.S. citizenship.
  • has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
  • is under indictment or information for a [crime] punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

BEFORE YOU JUDGE – BEFORE YOU SAY ONE WORD – lest you be more wicked than they, let me break this down for you:

1.       An ex-felon – someone who has PAID THEIR DEBT TO SOCIETY – but now shall be held without the same Constitutional freedoms as any other. WHAT are we doing? How do we expect “law” to provide reform, when we punish people for their whole lives? How do the people who make these laws expect the people to act – when THEY THEMSELVES, create harmful and harassing laws to govern the people?

2.       An illegal alien – hey, I’m not in support of illegal immigration – but this is NOT to protect the public interest – did you know that? This IS to protect the cops who go hunting these guys down. Maybe, if we had a better system, created better laws, were more “just,” and “decent,” as we, as a country, so blatantly claim to be, standing vainly before the world – we wouldn’t HAVE THIS PROBLEM! Fix one problem of Constitutional violations by creating another Constitutional violation? Only in America…. *sigh*

3.       Has Renounced U.S. Citizenship – that’s right! If you’re not with us – you’re against us! You’re a “commie!” I digress – please watch “Battle for Terra,” a very WELL DONE, and amazingly wonderful show for families of all ages, and try to understand the horrifically deranged, mental attitude that must be adopted in order to support this decision.

4.       Convicted of misdemeanor of Domestic Violence – You mean, like, their kid, while high on drugs, tried SHOOTING his mom, but dad stepped in, disarmed his kid, and struck him in the face in the process to try and bring him down and the cops arrested dad for being a violent offender against children, but in retrospect, based on a SCREWED UP system, dad only got a misdemeanor because he only hit his son once, trying to stop him from killing his own mother while high? Yeah – makes PERFECT SENSE.

5. Now – I’m going to take an extra special look at this one – because all the others – you can justify with the mental, hysteria, media-driven, brain dead mentality that governs most Americans as my just being another ignorant person who believes in Constitutional freedoms. But, this one – “is under indictment or information for a punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.” Do you KNOW what constitutes an “indictment,” by a grand jury or the truth behind these fictitious documents? Try reading more about it if you want to have your brain blown away! Here are some facts:

  • Grand Jury indictments are used in only half of the States of this Republic, because according to the 5th amendment of the Constitution – THEY ARE ILLEGAL.
  • Grand juries do NOT require ALL of the evidence, and no one is allowed to defend themselves prior to being indicted.
  • Prosecutors – include those who have been proven to lie repeatedly – are left to “good faith,” in presenting the so-called “facts.”
  • GRAND JURORS ARE NOT SCREENED FOR BIASES! That’s right – hate-mongers, family members of police and prosecutions – and all the rest – sit on these panels!

WELCOME TO FREE AMERICA. Yes – YOU can be indicted while sitting at home, with your family, in the quiet of the evening, reading scriptures together. You can be indicted while on vacation. YOU can be lied about – legally – without accountability to the lying party. YOUR indictment will sit on your record – for life. And, based on this LIE – you can be denied your right to go out hunting with your best friend, or keep a gun in your house in Arizona to protect yourself against terrorists who might raid your home, kidnap you, rape and kill you.

THAT’S FREEDOM.

THAT’S YOUR RIGHT TO EXERCISE YOUR FREE WILL AS GRANTED BY GOD.

Oh wait, no it’s not! That’s the OPPOSITE of freedom. Yet, the police went to these shows, with undercover cameras (albeit an ILLEGAL act by ANY other person than the authorities who are given exemption to do ANYTHING they want), and bought guns without background checks where NO background checks were required.

Did you read my last article on “red herrings?” If not – you may want to peruse it – you know, when you’re done getting through this long monstrosity. You see, we will not hear anymore about this. We will hear more and more about innocent people being shot, in the news, while this “investigation,” is underway, so that by the time they present a bill to Congress, they’re sure the people won’t complain about it. Know what the red herring is?

The Fictitious Freedom Fallacy; pt 3

The investigation itself is the red herring. Why? Because, this is being done based on they were given a “grant,” from our stimulus money, to do exactly this. And, they’ll get MORE of it when successful. In the Pacific Northwest, the Attorney General of Oregon applied for a more than half a million dollar grant to track down all the internet predators out there – and got it. Guess what’s happened? Magically, the amount of “internet” related busts have increased. But, when you re-read the article – the AG stated that it will allow them to better control illegal abuse of the internet, and “save jobs.”

YES – SAVE JOBS. It was NOT about the world being FULL of internet predators (although this may be true), it was about the police “saving jobs.” It was about – MONEY. And, now, they’ll stop anyone and everyone. Airports, state border patrol, and cops are randomly finding ways to search everyone’s computers and turning in so many of these cases that the Judges between California and Oregon are getting sick of hearing the B.S. and garbage being spewed by the prosecution. But, they have to make their quota and make it look like they’re doing something and didn’t just take OUR MONEY, to “save their jobs.”

The reality is this – freedom is fictitious. It’s a fallacy. Yes, it is important, as Glenn Beck said, to be able to stay at home and teach our children what freedom really is. But, that’s not possible. If we can, we must accept the horrible things the system does to us, to stay at home, and protect our children the best we can from our OWN government. Because, taking the lies they cast upon the innocent will NOT teach our children how to fight for their freedom. It WILL make them cynical and afraid – and THAT’S NOT RIGHT. But, if we can shield them, from the video games, television, commercials, news, politicians, law enforcement and other CORRUPTED agencies masquerading as something “good,” – then maybe – just maybe – they have a chance.

News report 4 days ago – a BOY SCOUT – was kicked out of school pending an investigation against him for bringing a dangerous weapon to school –

A SPORK! (with a fold-out butter knife)

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, A SPORK. But, this wasn’t just any spork-wielding, violent offender – this was a BOY SCOUT. Someone who we MUST fear and run away from! Did the boy do anything wrong with his spork of doom? Did he threaten some child with a simultaneous spooning and forking? Did he threaten to cut the teacher’s butter in half with his butter knife? Nope. He intended to…. Hold on to your seats… EAT WITH IT! Dum, dum, dum, dummmmmm!

A spork. A Boyscout. And, this is America? This is the “free” country, you hate-mongers flame me about, asking me why I just don’t move to Iraq? This is the country who protects its children against the dangerous masses taking arms against them? This is the country where a falsely accused person’s just “whining,” because they were “caught,” because the NEWS told you so?

I’m sorry. I’m sorry for you if you believe ANY of that. I’m sorry for you if you don’t understand, what it means, to be American. I’m praying for you, that you might be blessed by the Lord, to have your eyes opened without violence or suffering, so that you may enjoy the blessings of free agency. I’m praying for your children, that your belief in this “system,” and “giving it a chance,” and “not speaking out to cause ripples in the water,” doesn’t leave them where it left me. Because – you are my brothers and sisters. And, no matter WHAT the system has done to me – I still have an obligation to God to exercise what free will I have left – and that is the free will to care about others. To tell you the truth as I know it to be. To share what I’ve learned that you may understand what’s coming. To speak only of the reality of our situation, that you may find some peace and happiness in avoiding these nightmares.

Lies do not become us, pt 1

  "We are men of action, lies do not become us." - The Princess Bride

And, so it is, for America. I'm about to tell you something you won't like. I'm going to give you words that will fill you with anger and frustration - so be prepared - because I'm going to tell you the truth. America, the United States Of; is the most vile, corrupted and horrid of all nations on this big, beautiful Earth.

Hate me yet? You should - that's a terrible thing to say. Why? Because I LOVE America. Because I CARE about our Country. But, it's for THAT VERY REASON, that I say what I do. I cannot stand by while the nation I love dies under the regime of tyranny and disappears forever.

When countries like Cuba or Russia or China issue out laws that condemn their children to death, permit people to be shot in the streets and allow the government to commit whatever attrocities they want (sorry to Cuba, Russia and China - you were the easiest to pick on, so I did!), they don't "hide," it. They just do it. They say they're going to do it, and then they do. What they're doing is terrible for sure, but it's not a deception or guise. It's done because it's a tyrannical regime and they admit it. But, when a country does the very same thing and lies about it; hides it; manipulates the media to report otherwise and then drives its people into a frenzied hatred for the very same thing against another country - it becomes something worse.

I've learned a lot in my investigations into spirituality, and one statement made by the founder of the specific church I am attending said the following: "We cannot blame Satan for our mistakes. The devil lurks in the shadows waiting to pounce, but we must each be accountable to ourselves and one another for our own actions." - Joseph Smith [paraphrased to be inclusive here]. He was right. I have seen evil. I know it exists. I watched it destroy my life and tear my family apart. I'm sitting at its doorsteps, waiting to take my medicine for some brutal violation of the Constitution because evil exists. However - people are people. We make mistakes, and sometimes - intentionally. Sometimes it's for profit, or revenge, and sometimes, it's just because we can. Here's the sad part - the reason that some of you may not know - may not understand - what I'm talking about, is because "they," [our government], have spent billions of dollars (of your money - don't forget that), to shield you from the truth. If you knew what was happening in your own back yard, you would no longer be able to simply live life. You would be forced into action against the very people you elected into office. The fact is - we cannot blame "evil," for the evil that has corrupted America IS its so-called "authorities."

So, I ask you - why do we care about Obama's health care plan? Heck, why do we care about ANY of the ridiculous, irrational and corrupted laws the politicians make? Why should we care that Congress just gave themselves a raise? After all - this is a Republic - and our inaliable rights are protected by a set of unchangable doctrines as set forth within the Constitution; and, it is a government run by the people. If the politicians are going against the people for their own greed and their own self-righteousness, we can simply ignore them, can't we?

Well, that is, unless of course, they enforce their corruption through some form of life-threatening fear. I don't know, like say, law enforcement? I'm not saying law enforcement itself is corrupt (the authorities do a great job saying that for themselves), but I am pointing out that the words printed on every police car: "To protect and to serve," is a miscommunication. For, you see, it is to protect and to serve whomever is the most financially beneficial to them at that particular moment in time. If they are protecting and serving the financial goals of Legislature AGAINST the people - then we are NOT the recipients of their services - just the ones paying for it. Of course, this is all easy to say - so I better start providing some examples for you non-believers:

Cell phone bans. Cell phone bans in automobiles are happening as a direct result of a series of violent and dangerous accidents that could have been avoided had the driver been paying attention! HAHAHAHAHA - no wait, oops, I was reading my fiction book again - let me flip over to my reality book... oh yeah... here it is: Cell phone bans are happening because there is a potential for a dangerous accident if someone's not paying attention while driving.

You mean, like idiots, right?

Yep - pretty sure that cell phone isn't what's distracting an idiot. Pretty sure that was an accident just waiting to happen, because they're just BAD drivers! But, on that topic, I'll digress. What's important here is this: WE ARE GUILTY. YES - YOU AND I. YOU - the reader - who has NOT been in an accident, who has NOT hurt anyone as a direct result of your blatant negligence to look at the road while prioritizing on a phone call; YOU ARE GUILTY. You WILL hurt someone. You WILL cause pain and suffering.

No - no trial for you. No Constitutional rights to be protected in your person or things without at least being charged with a crime or being faced by a jury of your peers. YOU ARE DANGEROUS. So, we HAVE to take away your cell phones. (I won't waste the time here explaining the HUGE boost for the "telephone accessories," industries this is actually supporting... hmmmm). We have to punish you. We HAVE TO GET YOU BEFORE YOU GET US. Sound familiar? If not - go read my previous article on FANATICAL LEADERS.

Lies do not become us, pt 2

Is that it, though? Is it simply that the government can make laws to support (ahahahaha... ) Capitalism and punish you, the innocent? Oh wait, these laws are to protect you. That's why there are heavy-duty fines for driving down the road witha cell phone - or rather - FEAR induced law enforcement that if you do this MAJOR BAD THING, you will lose money you don't have. You will pay for every other IDIOT on the road. It is for our safety, right? Well, if we read the "fictional," story about the millions of accidents daily occurring from cell phone use and ignore the other stories about accidents happening for one million other reasons, then sure - it's all about the people! After all, the people asked for this bill, didn't they? This wasn't some special interest group or self-righteous politician, was it? It certainly wasn't media driven, was it?
 
Oops. I think you know the answer. It was special interest. It was media driven fear. But, let's get back to the fact that: without the use of law enforcement as enforcers through fear, stupid laws, anymore than good laws, could not be enforced. Our tax money couldn't be used without our permission. Our corporations wouldn't be shut down, or bought out, without our say-so. The police have been used to keep people out of Townhall meetings. And, in a court of law, the authorities - the same ones who get busted for rape, theft, murder, assault and every other possible crime (because they're human), are given the "preference," as conveyers of only truth.
 
Two things: First off - this HAS to stop. Conveyers of truth? Go out and do your own internet search for corruption+police. See it for yourself and then decide if you would trust them outright (also noting that police can pass lie detector tests while lying - because while on the force - they're TAUGHT to lie.. hmmm?); and secondly, when our government uses law enforcement for corruption - we are only encouraging this behavior. But, it certainly doesn't stop there. There is corruption in District Attorneys, Attorney Generals, Judges, Magistrates, Senators and the list goes on. While I would like to spend this entire blog telling you everything that they are doing that I have personally bore witness to - the point of this article was how UGLY, America is, in relationship to the rest of the world, for this reason.
 
"We're the free-est country in the world!" Really? Ever look at the laws? Ever look at the counter-cases to the Constitution - that doctrine of freedom to which you refer as the basis for this being a truly, free Republic? Ever see how many hundreds of times per day - YES - HUNDREDS OF TIMES PER DAY - the Constitution is negated for prosecutors, law enforcement and government officials?
 
"We're the fairest nation on Earth!" Oh yeah, we are SO super fair. Congress can vote for their own raises, but the rest of us have to earn it. The police are one of the biggest UNIONS in existence. When the media talks about how the AFL-CIO and other unions have caused corruption for the American worker, don't miss out on the fact that law enforcement is protected behind a union. That's why you'll read stories of cops shooting innocent, unarmed children and getting a paid - "probation." And, of course - just look at our monetary system. It's not like there's the elitist rich and the homeless poor? After all - if there was - both chose their own path, didn't they?
 
"We are the most caring Country in the world!" Sure we are. That's why, in Oregon, DHS/Child Protective Services, gets a D or F grading score, not for "failure," to protect children, but what they're doing to them - for 11 years running now! That's why there are senators petitioning the Congress to hear their plea to put a stop to the child laundering scheme of CPS (no - not people - the government), but are ignored because other Senators profit from it (no - not conspiracy - I'll post the link if you want it).
 
"We are the most powerful country in the world." Yep, and Roman Polanski sits untouched, because their comes a time in the course of human events when the rest of the world must tell this bumbling giant known as the United States to back the heck off and start trying to think with our brains, not our butts!
 
America, The Beautiful? Sorry, not anymore. I would have said so only three years ago. Of course, I was watching television and had a tendency to believe at least some of what I was seeing. I supported the difficulties our 9-1-1 and military folks faced. I understood the plight of America to help out with foreign matters where oppression was concerned. Then, I woke up. Then, I watched as the doors of a church in Texas were busted down by cops with semi-automatic weapons, hauling off screaming, crying, innocent and frightened children in a bus from good, loving families. I watched as a nation positioned hatred against another country merely to support a war movement. I wtched and understood what the military does and says to the men and women we care about. I watched as special interest groups pushed our money into the toilet, flushed it, and then blamed US for it! I watched as children went hungry to the point of dying, politicians traded off favors and officers of the law lied to "catch a 'supposedly' bad guy." I watched as District Attorneys continued to aggressively attack a young adult even after the so-called victim said: oops - it was sort of a lie - didn't happen. I watched as District Attorneys put people in prison for circumstantial, unconfirmed evidence, called it justice and destroyed their lives, their children and the world around them.
 
I watched in horror - at a weeping mother, clinging to the coffin of her newborn child, who died of neglect from a DHS appointed home, taking him from her without reason, justification or cause, lying to the courts, supported by the "system," to get away with it, profiting in the tens of thousands from Federal funds and "raises for everybody," and heard DHS blame the mother for it all. I watched the news reports of children being shot in cars, unarmed, because the cops have too much time and money.
 
I watched and I watched and I watched. .....
 
This is America? This is my home? This is where I am raising my son? What have we done? Who are we? No wonder some of these other countries hate us so bad. I never understood it - their hatred that is - until I watched.. US. And, then, I understood. Their countries commit horrible attrocities against their own people - so why should they judge us? Because - we go over there - proclaiming our all-mighty righteousness and good intent (Obama, the olympics scandal and the corruption being projected anyone?), and we vainly claim our free right to be the example for the rest of the world - and it's insulting. It's downright disgusting, when our Legislature is "famous," for their lies and deceit, yet they continue to run. Dictatorships come - and they fall. Eventually the people rebel. But, look at history. How many rebellions have happened here? Peaceful ones are met by violence in the street with armed SWAT teams, beating kids into bloody messes. No wonder we have kids beating on other kids! It's in the media - the news - and the authorities they're supposed to be modeling themselves after. But, we HIDE! We try to cover up the nastiness with "other" news.
 
Lies do not become us. We are a nation of people who live in fear. Very few dare speak the words I do, for they know they will soon find themselves where I've already been - thrown to the lions. They know that if they try to change the system by force, they'll be killed or thrown in jail. WHAT? Is that America? What about protesting? How much affect has that had? How much of an effect are the townhall meetings having? Maybe some? I said a while ago that I thought the Tea Parties were turning into a waste of time, but I hoped I was wrong, and one person said that I was.
 
Congress just appointed themselves a raise, against the peoples' will, Obama just went to support Olympics in America, against the peoples' will, General McChrystal is still without troops against the peoples' will - and the list goes on. So - was I wrong? Sadly, I don't know what the answer is. But, yes, I hope and pray, I am wrong. For how long can the fear continue? How many generations before they ask: why ARE you afraid? How long before our children can no longer abide by their parent's fears and stand up for themselves in what may be a terrible disaster of pain and suffering, all because we were too afraid now? I am going down soon. I was fighting, but now they have my child. They have threatened to harm him. I can no longer fight. I must be careful in all I say and do - and yet, I cannot stop. I cannot quit telling the truth. I cannot give up hope that making sure enough people being educated WILL SET US FREE.

Truth About Health Care

   Well folks, you can thank Glenn Beck for failing the American public as of this morning, July 23, 2009. In fact, I would go so far as to say he embarrassed the whole of the Republican party this morning. In life, there are some things you can joke about that are funny - there are some assumptions you can make that are generically okay - and setting political correctness aside; there are some empty arguments you can blindly toss out there and it's still okay. But, there are some you can't, and health care IS one that you can't attack empty handed. Barrack Obama told a story about a woman who paid into her health insurance but they refused to pay for her cancer treatments, and a story about a person who lost their job and ended up with an exorbitant debt from a life-saving surgery. All that Beck could focus on, was that we "don't know the cancer woman's whole story," and it's probably her fault, and that the guy who lost his job was too "stupid" (yes, word that Beck used ver batim), to get Cobra. He spent plenty of time making fun of both of them simply because Barrack Obama, rather than dragging out a speech with all the details, gave those two highlighted examples of problems with our health care system. They should have never been the brunt of his jokes because: 1: Insurance companies have had an infamy for refusing services they are supposed to provide and 2: because we don't know that the guy with the debt DIDN'T have Cobra. Ignorance only begets ignorance.
 
The problem? People like Glenn Beck with insurance, who are not disabled and haven't hurt, don't know. Glenn will profess that unless you've been an alcoholic and gone through recovery you can't possibly understand things about that system that he does; and he's right. The same goes for health care. But, those of you listening to his show may be in the same position he is, and rather than weeding through ignorance and getting the truth - you had more ignorance blasted in your face. It is now REALLY upsetting me that EVERY FORM OF MEDIA coverage has seem to "Magically," *poof*, forgotten the stories we've had about the health care system since Obama suggested socialized medicine. Sure, there are plenty of stories of people leaving socialized medicine countries and coming to America so they can get the treatment they need, "in time." How do they get their treatment, by paying for it? NO. They come here, broke, and get their treatment through the: SOCIALIZED portion of health care system as it is now??!! Oops - forgot to mention that when attacking socialized medicine, huh? Did we forget that there are LITERALLY thousands of people, EVERY YEAR, leaving THIS COUNTRY to go to Europe, Canada and OTHER countries to get alternative treatments because our health care system won't provide them? Oops - forgot to mention that little caveat when discussing the "evil," socialized medicine, huh?
 
Have we so quickly forgotten the woman in southern california desperately trying to cross the border to Mexico so that she can get an alternate form of cancer treatment for her 5 year old little boy so that he didn't have to be radiated for cancer because he BEGGED her to save him - but the LAW - the LEGAL SYSTEM - the JUSTICE OF AMERICA - sent the authorities after her, blockading roads, and FORCED her to relinquish her child to the medical community to radiate the CR@P out of him? Did you forget that? Did you forget how the GOVERNMENT ALREADY forced people into treatments they didn't want through fearmongering and absolution of power? Oops... sorry... yeah.. forgot there are just a few, bugs, but only a few, right - isolated stories, right? Well, maybe we've ALL forgotten the young lady in Oregon, who was only in her 20's, that needed a LIFE SAVING SURGERY, but her INSURANCE COMPANY wouldn't authorize it until her family initiated a LAWSUIT, and then, when the insurance company conceeded and gave in to actually having to "spend," money to save someone's life - it was TOO LATE AND SHE %^##$%^#@ DIED! Yeah - um - isn't that the "evil," of "socialized," medicine that the Republicans such as Glenn Beck are professing against? You know, the ones where the government gets to decide what treatments you have or makes you stand in lines until you die? WE are NOT a socialized medicine country and yet we have ALL of the same problems as SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.
 
If Socialized medicine was SO BAD, in countries where you get to ELECT your leaders (and America's not the only one people), they STILL don't leave that system. Why not? If it's SO BROKEN, why are we the ONLY country not to use it? from Wikipedia on Socialized Medicine:

[Note - please be aware that the above does NOT ALSO consider that the issues I raise in this article about the welfare system, and the medical coverage in the Military - considered to be some of the best available - fall within the LIMITED spectrum definition of Socialized Medicine in respect to the way that the radio talk show hosts use the term]
 
Look - I'm not advocating for it - not at all. What I don't like is when people like Glenn Beck go on the radio and talk about how "stupid," some kid was for not getting Cobra, stating that it's a government mandate that businesses offer to you and HE IS WRONG. He obviously hasn't done his homework, which he proclaims so "ADAMANTLY," that he does. You CAN be refused Cobra - including for reasons of termination vs. self-terminition. You CAN be refused Cobra if you're disabled and have a pre-existing condition. Okay - so - I'm gonna let you ALL in on a little secret -
 
I'm disabled. I don't have health insurance. Why? Don't I qualify? Sure I do! Even with a pre-existing condition and HUGE bills, I would qualify. You see, for $215 per month, I could pay for a program that requires only a $15 copay per doctor's visit and a 50% copay on my meds. So, every month, my $150 in prescriptions (that's the minimum - it's much larger but I won't tell you how much), would only cost me $75!! Every three months, seeing my doc would only cost me $15, not the usual $180! Yes, $180 for a 15 minute visit to renew my prescription. I have an extremely RARE disorder that does require a specialist I'm afraid. NO - I AM NOT ON WELFARE or State paid assistance. I pay out of pocket. But, let's do the math: I can pay $210 per month (averaging out meds and doc visits), to get EVERYTHING I NEED without health insurance, knowing that if I'm injured, I'm screwed, OR I can pay $295 per month (same avg), knowing that if I'm injured, because of my disability, I would only be covered up to 50%. Let's see, spend an additional $85 per month for that "safety net," that covers 50% of my needs, OR, try to use that $85 to help cover the $400 per month I'm going in the hole because of the entirety of my health needs? Hmm... tough choice... it REALLY, REALLY is. But, I can't afford the middle man ON TOP of the middle man. You see... my doc doesn't really get $180 for the visit - he gets probably half of that. Half of the $90 left over is taken by the clinic while the other half goes to pay into the CURRENTLY EXISTING socialized medicine program we have, for those without insurance who are covered by the government. I don't take advantage of the system even though I qualify, I don't ask for a hand out and am trying hard, on my own, disabled, to make it, and yet I currently have to pay for those who are without health insurance.
 
Is our current health care system broke? You bet it is. Maybe you forgot about the docs who complained with the health care system reforms in the 90's when the health insurance providers switched to a "get 'em in and get 'em out" method (of which HealthNet became infamous for), and the docs would only make money for shorter visits, less bedside manners and LESS tests. It's been in place for so long - because the GOVERNMENT supported it, that maybe you forgot how it changed bedside manners. When people like Glenn Beck argue against "socializing," services because it infringes on their money - they ONLY support Obama's position. He stands against GREED.

THAT IS NOT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY'S STAND on the issue. THAT IS GLENN BECK'S, and Sean Hannity's and Rush Limbaugh and they are making Republicans look greedy, selfish AND STUPID!
 
[Note to Glenn, Sean and Rush - I apologize in ADVANCE if that is NOT the message you intended - but maybe you need to STEP BACK and listen to your words - ie - Glenn - you wrote the book "Common Sense," of which I own five copies, four to still give away on top of the 3 I already have - but it should be COMMON sense to you to realize that this is EXACTLY what you are saying - IN CONTEXT - whether you mean to or not!]
 
Republicans, by the party-term and definition, are NOT greedy. We are NOT selfish - and I wish these guys would shut up - put up - or get off the air. In the infamous words of an infamous man, Lee Iacoca (sorry if I mispelled that), Lead, follow or get out of the way.
 
Argue against socialized medicine without appropriate checks and balances if you will. Argue against socialized medicine that deprives those who wish to pay for their own without penalties if you will. Those things make sense. But, do NOT argue against it because now you have to pay. A caller destroyed Sean Hannity two days ago and in my opinion ONLY (and it IS ONLY my opinion folks - please listen to his show and draw your own conclusions.. I trust you to do this), humiliated him and made him sound like a fool (which is sad, because he's not a fool), when Hannity when off on a tirade about Obama and ENTIRELY circumvented an answer because he had none. Do Republicans believe in the Defense of this country? YES. And, who pays for it? EVERYONE. IT IS SOCIALIZED. Do we believe in good education? YES. And, who pays for it - the parents of the children in school - or EVERYONE? You know the answer. Of course, both of those systems need reform, checks and balances and spending caps. But, that would be the same for medical coverage. We ALREADY have socialized health care under the "guise," known as "welfare," governed by the most idiotic and worthless agency in the WORLD - Department of Human Services. DO WE FORGET where the government buys its medication from to offer the prescriptions to the American people at cheap prices? CANADA, Europe and other foreign countries - NOT AMERICAN pharmaceuticals!!! DANGIT people - DON'T be stupid! Don't be lead like sheep. WHY does Canada get better prescription prices? SOCIALIZED MEDICINE! So - what have we learned?
 
Blindly jumping into socialized medicine - bad - the proof is in the pudding - as it were.
Blindly standing against it  - JUST as bad.

Did you forget that, too? Did you forget that we came to this Country under that VERY pretense? Did you forget the hospitality that was shown to us that we threw to the winds? Did you forget the meaning of care? I'm not a supporter of the Democrat party's philosophies. I DON'T support welfare - and if you've read my posts on here - you'd know that. I DO support a hand up. I DO support helping out. I DON'T support the government telling us where we'll give or spend our money - but I WON'T support the argument that: "It's MY money - so nah, nah," because I'm not childish, selfish or weak. If you are a Republican, and you care AT ALL about your party - you will write to Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, you will write to your State and Federal Representatives and you will say: STOP with the "rich" people bashing. Stop with the selfish "money" hoarding. That is NOT American. That is NOT what this Country is about. Consider a Health Care reform that better manages socialization issues and fair coverage for all people so that those with more money who wish to pay for more services - can do so WITHOUT added taxes or penalties - those without - can at LEAST get the basics with a program that is designed to HELP them recover financially and afford it on their own. But, we ALL share in school. We ALL share in postal and governmental and other issues - because we know these systems DO require a collaborative effort. And then, tell the officials, and those who represent our party on radio and television - SHUT UP. Quit acting like big, stupid, moronic babies without a clue. START doing what you promised - to report the truth. To act WITHOUT bickering over party sides and cover the issues that matter in an INTELLIGENT way. BE INFORMED. (Yes, the little Timmy Teetleburgermeyerwhaterverism was a funny story, well told and I enjoyed it - but ONLY insomuch as the story stood alone on the foolishness of "sob," stories, while the REALITY is that there are HORROR stories in the THOUSANDS happening daily that ARE very serious and CAN'T be ignored!)
 
Yes, straight forward socialized medicine instituted overnight would lead to massive problems, especially with under-estimated cost projections and other issues. Maybe we need more volunteers in medicine. Maybe if the government's going to spend money - it shouldn't be on socialized health care, but more free clinics for those who qualify or whose insurance companies have betrayed them. Maybe we need an FDA that is NOT corrupted and bought out by the pharmaceuticals (you can read more about this in my previous posts), but supports a WIDER variety of health services - including treating DENTAL health care with the same level of concern as regular, medical health care!!
 
Sorry that Glenn Beck bore the brunt of my complaint today, but it was too much and he just happened to be the straw that broke this old camel's back. I will say this: if the current health care reform bill passes - I pray for all of us - because the bickering and fighting will become even more moronic and baby-like and we'll see fighting and mudslinging that usually only children... or politicians... see. We will have massive problems financially and medically and we will see a decline in services just from the medical community that goes on strike and people WILL suffer. I pray for us all. But, remember this: the authorities YOU think YOU need to keep you safe from yourselves, I don't agree with, but I help pay for their services, too. The foreign military YOU think YOU need to keep us from overnight war fighting in foreign countries right now, dying and killing, I don't agree with, but I help pay for. The attorney general's the government FORCES us to pay for to PROTECT them from US, I DEFINATELY don't agree with, but we all help pay for. A reform is needed - YES. The one in play - NO. So - to that extent - the forces fighting this bill must AMASS in numbers and stand against it. But, DON'T do it blindly. DON'T do it because it will hurt your pocket book. Freedom costs - MIND, BODY, HEART, SOUL - BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS. There is a price for freedom - and we must ALL be willing, as a collective, to pay for it. But, WE the people should be commanding what happens with it - NOT Uncle Sam - and THAT is the ONLY true argument to make.

Okay, we're awake - now what?

Whilst listening to the radio talk show hosts I hear the consistent claims (of late), that the American people are 'waking up' to the reality of our 'situation.' People want to learn the 'truth' about our history so they can find out what's really going on. Okay, fine. I'll digress on the obvious frustrations that creates (aka this website being about the consequences of what happens when the governments lie to the people - and the people act like mindless sheep), and simply "accept" this concept.
 
My question is: now what? Great, you finally woke up from this self-induced coma and found yourself in the middle of a collapsing hospital; now what do you do? You'd love to flee, but the same earthquake that's rocking the hospital is rocking the world around you and there's nowhere really safe. You could stand by and take it, but you were already doing that, so that just seems silly. Fight? Sure. Stand up for yourself and try to survive the collapse? Okay, I'll bite... how?
 
I've heard so many people saying that we should 'call' Congress and chew them out, literally. We should tell them that we're tired of their taking advantage of us. Chew them out for what? The money they're sucking out of the economy? The collapse in jobs? Why don't I call AIG and tell them to shove off? Why don't I call the City and tell them to stop wasting my money? Don't misunderstand - I'm ALL for ONE person doing something. Aka - the "Shot heard round the world." It starts somewhere. But, what is complaining to Congress going to do? They're in office. They're secure. Are they going to reduce taxes? Sure they will! They'll cut taxes and wasteful spending - i.e. schools and libraries and transportation....
 
But, wait - that's NOT what I meant! I meant to cut out THEIR outrageous spending and wealth earning and be a government FOR the people. But, what's happened already in the 'wake' of our 'waking up?' Congress has done exactly what I just said - they've cut what they believe to be 'unnecessary' services, starting with SCHOOLS and other important functions that directly SUPPORT the people while continuing to flood money into services that MANAGE the people!! This... is getting ridiculous.
 
I've also heard the claim that we should tell our members of Congress to cut out their hypocrisy. But, just exactly HOW am I supposed to do that? Hypocrisy is defined as: Acting in a manner that is opposed to one's actual beliefs or feelings; contradictory. So, what? Hey you guys - stop being so contradictory. You promised us freedom and liberty and a fair shot but you're self serving, and that's not right!
 
Yeah - that's gonna work. C'mon. We NEED change. Change, is not coming. Example: Pacific Power and Electric, in the Pacific Northwest, has petitioned the PUC to permit them to raise their rates on the people by 2010. Yep - when everything's still in chaos, jobs are still on the line, PacPower wants to increase rates. Why? More jobs? More people? Nope. They want to do it because they want to make more money - bottom line. Do they need it? Oh, heavens no. They're VERY well funded (you can read my post on how/why Oregon is getting stupider by the minute). Will the politicians stand up to them? Why should they? An increase in our rates means an increase in the tax income base and more money for Uncle Sam. Oregon has a law suspending the license of minors who drink. No - it's not okay that they drink. But, did they drink and drive? NO. That's really making the punishment fit the crime! Way to trust the government to help teach morality to our children!! April is Child abuse prevention month where LOTS of children in Oregon suffer from this fate every year. The Kid's diagnostic and intervention center (who conveniently hides their full name as: The Kid's Center... see that? see how WELL that does NOT state what they REALLY do?), has put up their tree of hope with the names of kids who are suffering and need support.
 
Sounds b-e-a-utiful, doesn't it? Well, if you've read ANY of my stories in this blog about the truth of DHS, how much abuse they've caused to children by doing what it is they do and how their services are still unable to REALLY help with child abuse prevention because they're TOO busy destroying families to fill their pockets, you might understand how this is hypocriticism in its purest form! (Yes - I know - hypocriticism is not a 'word,' but words are defined by what we choose to define them by and I think you might be intelligent enough to get my point and already know that I don't have an opportunity to edit my own posts for grammar, so please, deal with it).
 
The point is - telling our Congressmen and Congresswomen: Hey you, stop listening to the rich people, doing whatever it is YOU want to do and start representing us, is all well and good. But, the truth is, we've saying that for years. And then, we do something terrible - WE, the PEOPLE, perform an act of hypocrisy that deteriorates our very foundation of support. We VOTE these people into office. It's no question that Barrack Obama and John McCain had issues - both of them. It's no question that both of them have been in places that we, the people, just can't support. But, we give our Congressional leaders the power to choose FOR us, limit our choices (depriving us of our freedoms), and then vote in the lesser of two evils. Yes - re-read that: two evils. We don't hold our politicians, our elected officials, OR our appointed governmental officials (post office, police, IRS, DHS, etc.) to any standard of accountability. So, go ahead, tell you Congress members to cut more spending, and, they will; just, not where you wanted it cut. Go ahead and tell them to quit being hypocriticizers (a special variant of the word for all you harold & kumar fans...), and then realize YOU voted them into office??!! You trusted them with YOUR money! YOU gave them the power to CONTROL you! YOU agreed to let them pass laws without requiring accountability for their actions.

This is an account of innocent people, falsely accused in the 80's, and what's happened to their lives, their children and the people around them. It's an itsy bitsy, teeny weenie slice of the GIGANTIC pie regarding corruption by the police, the courts, the prosecutors and the system in general. It's a "REAL" life look into what's going on, RIGHT NOW, that your media is lying to you about. How many of you know that there were witnesses in the Martha Stewart case that falsified/withheld information? Hmmm? Bet you DIDN'T hear about that. That's NOT what the media portrays, because that's NOT what the government tells them they're allowed to portray. Oh yes, conspiracy theories again, right? Wrong - because if you don't know that there was proof of her innocence - then you don't know everything. No - I'm not exonerating her - I'm picking a case. You can look at Operation Ore in Britain and Operation Candyman in the U.S. to see just how many innocents are STILL being falsely prosecuted, in a 'witch hunt', because our Congressional leaders are NOT interested in OUR best interests. They act irrationally, do what's popular and hide the majority of their actions so that we won't know about it - or understand the truth about what was going on - no matter HOW much history we want to learn - until it's too late and we're a victim of the system.
 
So, yes - we're awake. Fine. We're ready to do "something." But, what? What do we do? I've argued before on this topic and I'll say it again - I fear this country is in line for a violent revolution of such proportions that our next 20 generations will feel its effects. Multitudes have already gathered in preparation for it. But, folks, it doesn't have to be that way. When you learn your history, and you learn that the government has been lying to you then, know that they're lying to you now! It hasn't stopped! No fairy tale has come true! But, we have other solutions - such as individual States segregating themselves from the Union to begin to return to our roots - as long as they're willing to do it the right way! Not with increased force upon the people, but by going back to the Constitution, in its base form, and reworking changes from there. Eradicating the laws, the taxes and the garbage that's been spewed for the last 240+ years and beginning anew, putting everything out to the people. Sure - some of it will require more time, and we'll all have to be patient. But, I can promise you this: if you believe in God, and you have Faith, in ANY proportion - you don't have to be religious or follow some specific ordinance of any Church - but you rely upon God's FIRST doctrine, His FIRST scriptures - the world around you - you will see the answer. His FIRST book, is this Earth, and all of its creatures upon it. His first promise is there, and I promise you, if you call your Congress people and offer them an opportunity to resign rather than be impeached, if you gather peaceably, but with a REAL goal, not long-winded debates, you'll see an answer.

It's all about the control...

More hypocrisy and communistic totalitarianism from the Pacific Northwest...

Oregon state to join in the ban on the sale of novelty lighters.
 
Why? According to the city of sandy's fire marshall, "kid's brains aren't equipped to understand their curiosity with fire and the inherent danger in playing with lighters or matches." (Paraphrased in part). In other words- because kids can start fires with them (don't worry- the government's not including matches, gasoline or regular lighters because obviously THOSE can't be used to start fires, too... Right? Wait a second...)

In reply to this, others have argued that it is the responsibility of parents, not the government, to control what their kids' do. However, the fire marshall explained that the item that kills more kids per year than guns should not be made to look like a toy (irregardless of the toy grenades and semi-automatic police gear that looks real...). The fire marshall went on to explain that the ban will be intended to protect children whose parents are irresponsible...

Sounds fair in the bigger scheme of things, I suppose. Protect children from parents who don't bother to teach them about fire safety and just let them wildly run around starting fires.

But, why novelty lighters? If the kids' aren't taught the difference between right and wrong, it doesn't matter if it's a matchbook, a regular lighter or a lighter that looks like a car- they're going to play with it. But, did the novelty lighter makers design them with the intent to harm children? Obviously - no. Just some person with an entrepeneural spirit figured out a way to sell a .99 cent lighter for $4 bucks- and good for them!

When- not if - this law passes, the entrepeneurs will pay the price. The stores that already show the responsibility to only sell lighters to adults-will pay the price. Adults who purchase novelty lighters or collect them (as the fire marshall admitted to doing herself), will pay the price. But, that's not even the bad part.

You see, the parents who are responsible and teach their kids that because something looks fun, doesn't mean it is, will pay the price. Why? Water looks fun, doesn't it? Are we going to ban lakes and rivers? Several people, every year, die in the local lakes and rivers, ignoring the laws and not being skilled enough to swim!

What about driving? Cars look cool, don't they? but, do parents 'let' their children drive their cars before they are trained? For the most part, 99% don't. But, where do we draw the line between curiosity and accident? Where do we draw the line between neglect and sneakiness? Worse- when mom and dad are no longer the authority figures, how do children's fragile minds distinguish between following what their parents say and just doing whatever they want, believing the government has removed all of the obstacles?

Do we want our children hurt, I say, no! But a lego is a toy, and I have to teach my child not to swallow it. The plug outlet on the wall 'looks' like a toy to the mind of a child and I have to teach them not to touch it.

Is it a problem that the government can tell us, as adults, what WE get to enjoy and not enjoy? I'm sorry- no more drinking glasses with cute sayings because you're too irresponsible to teach your kids it's meaning!! Where does it end (because, now we know where it begins)? Did making toy guns look less real stop kids from liking them or using real guns? Maybe statistics say 'yes,' but I'm not a big believer in so-called 'statistics'.

When do we, as parents, stop worrying about our children's well being because uncle sam has us covered? Do we, as parents, have a right to raise our children the way we see fit (within obvious, appropriate boundaries)? Our we Constitutionally protected to be secure in our homes and families?

When do we have a right to tell the government, 'no,'? You see, this is the problem with our government- no representation. Either congress does as they please, or minority groups with the monetary backing fight to make themselves look important, not caring about the consequences of their actions.

But, hey, half the people on Obama's staff aren't being held accountable for breaking the law, so why should anyone in congress have to be? Our tax monies are going wherever the gvt. Chooses without our say-so, so why should they represent us anywhere else?

There it is, folks. The exemplification of Democracy's failure in America. The breakdown of moral standards and ethics. I wonder when the first court hearing will take place for the person who shows the gall to buy a novelty lighter... Or maybe decorates their own? I wonder when the laws will be expanded by the next minority group to ban bar-b-ques because they present a danger?

Remember, it's NOT about protecting our kids. We, as parents, work hard to protect our kids everyday, including protection from corrupted gvt officials and law enforcement. It's about the systematic decline of your individual rights, the long-term harm to your families and the effects on your children.

For those of you who still support this move, maybe you'd like to also encourage the minority group that tried to ban the pledge of allegiance from schools? Or, maybe you're glad that the boy scouts of America were punished for firing a scout leader who wanted to teach children about gay sex. Think they're different issues? Think again, because-

It's about control. Pure, totalitarian authority that otherwise ONLY existed under monarchies, communist regimes and the like. Heck, maybe tomorrow instead of oregon just banning 'books' from school (which they do, including American classics nationally accepted elsewhere), we can burn them, too? At least we'll have a use for all those left-over, novelty lighters....

Is war really coming? Is Afganistan the answer?

 A short while ago I posted my discussion on what I felt were key points in the last 100 years of American History that have brought us to today. I did that because I felt it was important for you folks to be able to see the truth - at least from my perspective - and when mixed with all the other malarkey out there, formulate your own opinions and draw your own conclusions. Of the points I made about World War I, following the sinking of the Lusitania (conspiracy theories aside), was the point where the American people, outraged, cried out for War! They didn't care if it crashed the economy. They specifically said - we don't care if we go bankrupt, if we lose our homes, if we suffer- they wanted revenge.
 
The other evening I heard it from Phil Hendrie (partially paraphrased as I couldn't get it all... sorry)- "Why should Obama have to explain his maneuvers in Afghanistan? I think he does it because he's surrounded himself by liberal cowards and people in Congress whispering in his ears. I'm glad we're there. Let's get those mothers. Let's smoke their rat-asses out. I don't care if it bankrupts us even. I don't care if we can't afford it. So, fine, I can't put a new room on my house or get a loan. As long as we stop those child-killing terrorists."
 
And, I heard it on Dennis Miller (also paraphrased in part), "So what if we kill them. You know what I think? Anyone willing to slap a bomb around a child's waist and send them out to die should be killed, all of them!"
 
And, I cried.
 
I try telling you that history repeats itself. It's one thing for 'conditions' to be similar. It's another thing for them to be EXACT. When the people cry out - kill them - kill them all - go to war - we don't care if it bankrupts us -
 
It's a repeat of what has been. Do I think that it's okay that terrorists kill people? Duhh--- obviously not. I'm against ANY government that hurts its own people - starting with OUR OWN. But, the stage is set. The trends are the same - failing economy, people unemployed, an opportunity for war and to rebuild the country, people driven to support the government going hogwild with taxes and money by seeing their own die - but - there's still one more element missing....
 
An attack on American soil. And, I'm not talking the 9/11 garbage. I'm talking a real one. Sure, losing family members, friends, loved ones - sucks. But, when the circumstances are conspiratal at best, I want justice from the one who actually did it - NOT - who was accused. And, what is happening? The American "experts" on terrorists (how in the hell does that work?) "speculate", from the comfort of their American offices in Washington D.C., that the Taliban and Al Qaeda are gathering in Afghanistan and preparing for an attack on American soil.
 
They speculate...... they're guessing. You see, the trouble I had with America going over seas to get the terrorists who committed the 9/11 atrocities is this: Those terrorists are DEAD. They were ON the plane. They died. Sure, maybe there are people over seas in the same types of militias that encouraged them - but they didn't force them. These people went of their own government-driven/media-driven/secular-driven agendas. They came here to 'weed out' and 'kill the infidels.'
 
Well, what are we doing? We are being told by the government, the media and in many cases even our religions, that these people are bad. We are told this from birth. We are told we have to go over there to 'weed out' and 'kill the infidels.'
 
So - where is the line drawn? What's the distinction? We are doing NOTHING different than them. Your arguments? Don't worry - I know what they are in advance because they're repetitious, old and still as worthless now as they were long ago, so let me address them:
 
They started it. Yeah, and two wrongs make a right, vengeance is better, kill 'em with guns not love, and who cares who gets hurt and stepped on in the middle, right? So what if we force governmental seizure and control of the innocent's homes and houses, institute curfews, put them under martial law, tick off the bad guys and encourage them to kill MORE of their own people, and in the meantime, slaughter a few innocent children ourselves - we're being 'saved,' right? Well, if you're still arguing this one - you win, because quite frankly, there is no way to counter an immature argument made by monkeys, by trying to use logic and reasoning.
 
They kill their own children! Yeah, and America doesn't? Every year thousands - THOUSANDS - of homeless children starve to death (a VERY painful way to die for those who don't know) because the rich get richer and the poor, poorer. We cut back education and put pressure on our children that has them shooting each other. We blast them with sex in media and intolerance in politics. We're SCREWING their financial futures and condemning them. DHS is kidnapping MILLIONS of innocent children every year and is responsible for the rape, murder and abuse of tens of thousands of them every year. Sure - we are SO justified in this. You have no argument.
 
They may come back! Yep - you're right. They may. They may send over terrorists who will get through the federally locked down airports and hijack another plane. They may kidnap people overseas and kill them. They may kill around 100 people by the end of the year. On the other hand, going to war means they WILL kill THOUSANDS of U.S. troops... children (for those of you who don't realize the majority of soldiers on the front line are still under 20 years of age - and to me, that's still someone's baby). They WILL fire missiles and bombs in their own streets in increased numbers. So, on this one, you win. Let's do it YOUR way and increase the death toll - much better.
 
Their people deserve better! YES! You are RIGHT! They deserve schools and education and secular freedoms and clean air and good paying jobs and a strong, people-driven Democracy. Let's have America fix it! Why? Because we're the SHINING example of these things. We have GREAT education... um... oops, sorry - scratch that - no we don't... and the first thing to be cut in this economy crisis wasn't politics or authorities that are sucking up the budget.. it was our children's school. But, we have secular freedom! Wait, oops, my bad - we kicked in the doors of a church and took their children because we didn't approve of what we 'believed' (although we were acting impetuously and hurt innocent lives because we were wrong) they were doing, and of course, secular freedom in schools and the workplace are now gone, and of course, the words 'In God We Trust,' have been removed (and are continuing to be) from most Government buildings. But hey - we have clean air! Um, sorry- my bad. Shouldn't have listed that one. We are paying excessively for 'trying' to have clean air and to fix what we have already done. We have jobs? Um, no... gosh... that's been a HUGE problem with outsourcing and what not. A people driven Democracy? Yeah - that explains the multitudes of bills passing that no longer represent the people (or require our votes or input) and AIG getting my tax money to fund THEIR rich people.
 
So - am I just being defeatist or what?? I'm just trying to make it hard on you, aren't I? There's GOT to be a solution! YES - there is one. Do I know it? No - I'm not the leader of this Country, so even if I had one - it isn't my place to say (although I would encourage those of you who may ever read this to offer up ideas!!). But, I do know one thing for sure. Marching in head first with guns shooting, bullets firing and asking questions later - is NOT the best policy. You see, sometimes, we get SO preoccupied with our OWN agendas, our OWN fears and our OWN frustrations, that we project those onto others. We are so busy trying to figure out an immediate solution, doing what we believed at the time we "could," that we NEVER stopped long enough to consider whether or not we "should."
 
Let's not be impetuous for once, okay? Let's not March on the road whose end we cannot see, blind-folded and unsure of what's on the other side of the hill. Because, for all we know, it could be a cliff and we could be lemmings (conspiracy aside again.. sheesh!) marching to our death. Let's NOT let our political leaders guide us in this path either. Quite frankly, people who have already cheated and stolen to get where they are and have little conscience in hurting others, aren't the best people to follow. And, people - STOP - following the media. PLEASE! If you want to do that, just end it now and save yourselves the painful, long, drawn out trip to self-destruction.
 
Let's use our hearts AND our brains. We don't want to die. We don't want people we know and love to die. And, as a last, little diddy - if somebody says: I HATE you and I'm going to kill you, do we run out, buy a gun and go hunt them down and kill them first? Well, unless we're just un-evolved monkey people who need to be shot anyway, the answer is: no. Sure, we may buy a gun. We may secure our own homes and boundaries. But, there's something else that we do (or at least, we're SUPPOSED to be doing) - we find out WHAT the problem is. We don't KILL the problem, we SOLVE it. (btw - killing it makes it worse - solving it makes it go away). We get input from others like the media who tell us it's all about religion, and we take it in and consider it - in part. We get input from those who are angry and usually don't act rationally. Then, we step back and go - hey - wait a sec - these people are hurt. They are scared. And, their fear and pain has driven them to anger. Because, there's a WHOLE nation over there that believes in the Quran, and THEY don't ALL believe in killing - not just Americans - but ANYONE. That tells me, something is wrong. So, let's start by asking the first question, shall we? Do realize, this means you will have to get off your high horse. You will have to want to be a nation that leads the world by GOOD examples starting at home. You will have to humble yourself and show tolerance, respect and love. And, the first question is:
 
Why are they angry at me and... What is it I HAVE done that needs to change?

The corruption of the Oregon District Attorney’s Office (pt 1)

(note: this is the first part in a series of articles examining the blatant abuse of power and authority by the Oregon, District Attorney’s Office)
Let us examine, shall we, the problems facing this so-called "State" of the Union, otherwise known as "Oregon," as it relates to the judicial and legal abuse by those whom we pay out of OUR tax monies. Let us examine a blatant LIE and ABUSE of power with proof, examples and facts:

Pretty straight forward. Not much to say. It's written clearly, in a way, that while it does contain elements that dictate the rights of the people, only insomuch as it regulates our involvement in matters so as to avoid false witness and punishment, the majority of its meaning lies within regulation of the government and their activities.


Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. (Ratified 12/15/1791.)
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The search and seizure provisions of the Fourth Amendment are all about privacy. To honor this freedom, the Fourth Amendment protects against "unreasonable" searches and seizures by state or federal law enforcement authorities.

The flip side is that the Fourth Amendment does permit searches and seizures that are considered reasonable. In practice, this means that the police may override your privacy concerns and conduct a search of your home, barn, car, boat, office, personal or business documents, bank account records, trash barrel, or whatever, if:
  • the police have probable cause to believe they can find evidence that you committed a crime, and a judge issues a search warrant, or
  • the particular circumstances justify the search without a warrant first being issued.

The Fourth Amendment applies to a search only if a person has a "legitimate expectation of privacy" in the place or thing searched. If not, the Fourth Amendment offers no protection because there are, by definition, no privacy issues. This is not, by its base meaning, a terrible thing by any stretch of the imagination. Courts use a two-part test (fashioned by the U.S. Supreme Court) to determine whether, at the time of the search, a defendant had a legitimate expectation of privacy in the place or things searched:

Did the person actually expect some degree of privacy?
Is the person's expectation objectively reasonable -- that is, one that society is willing to recognize?

The examples to consider are: A bathroom is a private place, but the front seat of your car - is not? I'm not sure about you - but the reason I have LOCKS on my car door, is because I don't consider the contents of my car to be "Public," and I'm sure that the reason that people who "steal" the contents of my car, are guilty because it is theft. How are the authorities exempt from this? Worse - private security guards, like those in shopping malls, have NO privacy requirements on them at all. The contents of your UNDERWEAR are free for them to examine!! So - let's examine the law:

Protection of privacy against unreasonable search or seizures. Hmm... does the law say... protection ONLY from law enforcement? Nope. In fact, there is NO identification of whom may violate this right. In fact, the only identification of anyone, is only that those who violate this right MUST have done so under oath or affirmation in a Court of Law.

If, upon review, a court finds that an unreasonable search occurred, any evidence seized as a result of the search cannot be used as direct evidence against the defendant in a criminal prosecution, state or federal. This rule, established by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1961, has come to be known as the "exclusionary rule." To this day, many commentators criticize it on the ground that it unfairly "lets the criminal go free because the constable has erred." But the rule's supporters argue that excluding illegally seized evidence is necessary to deter police from conducting illegal searches. According to this deterrence argument, the police are NOT SUPPOSED TO conduct improper searches if the resulting evidence can't be used to convict the defendant.

But, do they?

In the Ninth Circuit Blog, are "developments" as they pertain to Search and Seizure law. Developments... developments... ??? Hmm... does that mean... changes? Alterations to the United States Constitution as it is written? Why, yes - it does. Presedence set in Court rooms overrides the Constitution. So - just how is the District Attorney's office upholding the standards set by the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, when, in fact, they are ARGUING, to override it?

There are two main elements to consider here:

·         The first, is that the matter of unreasonable search and seizure was brought into question before the court. What does this mean?

o    This means - that law enforcement, DID, in fact, commit the act of an illegal search and seizure. They did NOT abide by the base standard set by the US Constitution. That law enforcement, in Oregon, has repeatedly, ABUSED their position, violating the rights of Oregon State's citizens, in their so-called, pursuit of justice.

·         The second is the matter of the District Attorney's Office. Did they, in fact, try to uphold the Constitution of the US?

o    The answer is simply, no. They used the excuse, that in their "mission," they are there to protect the safety of the public, and in doing so, they have argued for the right of an Officer of the law to have violated an individual's right to privacy.

Wait a second.... Doesn't that mean that they did NOT uphold the first doctrine that they have sworn to protect? Doesn't that mean that they have argued "probable cause," and "reasonable right to privacy and expectation," as it would fit THEIR perspective, not the perspective of the individual's CONSTITUTIONALLY protected right? Why... YES! YES it does.

So - the first question answered:

Does the Oregon District Attorney's Office uphold the standard, most base principal of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution?

No, they do not. They try to circumvent it, abuse it, argue it, debate it and tear it apart, when private citizens choose to exercise their Constitutional rights. This is CLEARLY, a violation of the Constitution, and of the People, that in order to secure the blessing of Liberty, have fought for their privacy, and many times lost, because the agency - not elected - but paid for by and through our hard-earned wages, has chosen to ignore the first doctrine of their "mission."

(as a brief side-note, you may be asking: where are all my “examples,” or “proof?” If you’re asking this, then you haven’t followed the web links offered in here. I could list the thousands of cases for you, but that really wouldn’t be a beneficial use of space, now would it? Rather – I will reference the links. In fact – I won’t even waste the time – for the most part – citing anything specific, because that might be thought to suggest that the references are isolated. My purpose here is not to pick and choose isolated events, but, in the totality of circumstances, present to you, the reader, the overall picture. For, therein lies the fear. Therein lies the concern – that these events are NOT isolated, and these violations continue on, unchecked and unhindered and our freedoms, are quickly being lost). In this second installment of our examination into the practices of the Oregon District Attorney’s Office, we continue on from where we left off, looking only at specific Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. But, make no mistake, the violations I speak of go way beyond that. I am merely pointing out the largest majority of violations of our rights, by the D.A.’s office – specifically – in contradiction to their claims.

Amendment 5 - Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. (Ratified 12/15/1791.)

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Let us examine the role of a Grand Jury:

The first instance of a grand jury can be traced back to the Assize of Clarendon, an 1166 act of Henry II of England. In fact, Henry's chief contribution to the development of the English monarchy was to increase the jurisdiction of the royal courts at the expense of the feudal courts. Itinerant justices on regular circuits were sent out once each year to enforce the "King's Peace." To make this system of royal criminal justice more effective, Henry employed the method of inquest used by William the Conqueror in the Domesday Book. In each shire a body of important men were sworn (jure) to report to the sheriff all crimes committed since the last session of the circuit court. Thus originated the modern grand jury that presents information for an indictment. The grand jury was later recognized by King John in the Magna Carta in 1215 on demand of the nobility. (are we recalling the first post, in which I clearly explained that part of the Constitution’s purpose was to no longer follow European traditions?)

Early in U.S. history, the grand jury served to screen out incompetent or malicious prosecutions. The advent of official public prosecutors in the later decades of the 19th century largely displaced private prosecutions, but also led to their capturing grand juries and using them in ways for which they were not originally intended. But, is the practice of a Grand Jury today, still at as much risk for corruption as they were back then? Grand juries are today virtually unknown outside the United States. England abandoned grand juries in 1933 and instead uses a committal procedure, as do all Australian jurisdictions. New Zealand abolished them in 1961 and Canada in the 1970’s.

In fact, only HALF of the States in our Union use Grand Juries. Yes – HALF. What does that mean? That means, that the U.S. is NOT using the fair and equal standard across the Country, meant to Form a MORE PERFECT UNION, as the justice system has slowly come to realize the corrupt and unconstitutional nature of grand juries. – Slowly – As it is, the “other” half of the U.S. relies upon preliminary hearings in which Judges are allowed to be presented with ALL of the evidence, from BOTH sides – to ensure fairness and accuracy of the issues. Where Grand Juries do exist, such as it is in Oregon – the one sided argument – from Law enforcement AND the DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S office (the ever-scrupulous bastions of fairness and hope.. right?), before dragging you into Court – and sometimes – JAILING you – without your even knowing that ANYTHING was going on!!

A grand jury is meant to be part of the system of checks and balances, preventing a case from going to trial on a prosecutor's bare word. A prosecutor must convince the grand jury, as an impartial panel of ordinary citizens that there exists reasonable suspicion, probable cause, or a prima facie case that a crime has been committed. The grand jury can compel witnesses to testify before them. Unlike the trial itself, the grand jury's proceedings are secret; the defendant and his or her counsel are generally not present for other witnesses' testimony. (a special thanks to Wikipedia, for this information – and references YOU can follow up on to find more arguments defining the unconstituionality of the Grand Jury process).

I won’t even waste the time in this argument to discuss the Double Jeopardy clause, except to say this: the TENS OF THOUSANDS of arguments, in our Judicial system against this practice, is reminiscent of what I said in regards to the Fourth Amendment violations by the District Attorneys- they are NOT upholding the principals of the Constitution as they claim – but are fighting them to their own benefit (see Findlaw for even more, detailed explanations).

''It is now the settled doctrine of this Court that the Due Process Clause embodies a system of rights based on moral principles so deeply imbedded in the traditions and feelings of our people as to be deemed fundamental to a civilized society as conceived by our whole history. Due Process is that which comports with the deepest notions of what is fair and right and just.'' (Justice Frankfurter)

Standing by itself, the phrase ''due process'' would seem to refer solely and simply to procedure, to process in court, and therefore to be so limited that ''due process of law'' would be what the legislative branch enacted it to be. But that is not the interpretation which has been placed on the term. ''It is manifest that it was not left to the legislative power to enact any process which might be devised. The article is a restraint on the legislative as well as on the executive and judicial powers of the government, and cannot be so construed as to leave congress free to make any process 'due process of law' by its mere will.'' (Lessee v. Hoboken) Let us begin by examining the more recent, “Adam Wash Act.”

On December 7, 2006, in U.S. v. Crowell, Magistrate Judge Leslie G. Foschio held that the Adam Walsh Act's requirement that specific pretrial release conditions be imposed on all defendants accused of certain crimes violates the Fifth Amendment's Due Process Clause, the Eighth Amendment's Excessive Bail Clause, and separation of powers. So, the question presents itself – is the District Attorney’s (and Judge’s) right to impose “pretrial” conditions on an individual’s release, a direct violation of the Constitution? Here’s where the Grand Jury indictments come in – for no person shall be deprived of life OR liberty, without the due process of law. But, in a grand jury indictment, for the few states that still choose to against the WORLD WIDE accepted standard and use this unconstitutional and outdated method, that IS due process. Yes – you are guilty. I define that by: the imposing of legal restrictions, as would be imposed on an individual found guilty of a crime in a court of law. You are guilty, because they impose limitations on you: curfews; use of the internet; the ability to drive; to go to a public bar; to go into certain locations; to possess legal and lawful items; and so on. You are guilty, and these impositions will continue to be placed upon you until such time as you can be proven innocent. Otherwise, if you are found guilty, then these impositions are increased and you are PUNISHED TWICE.

That’s…. real…. Constitutional.. isn’t it?

Finally comes the matter of personal property being taken for public use. Let me put this to you in the most clear and simple matter possible: search and seizure. The taking of your belongings, for examination by law enforcement, use as evidence in grand jury indictments (and court hearings), is a direct counterpart to the Fourth Amendment’s protection of privacy. Perhaps some of you might be thinking: “Well, this means they can’t take your T.V. to watch it for themselves.” Why? That would deprive you of the item’s: 1) ownership, 2) use, 3) freedom of liberty and 4) your Constitutional rights as they apply here.

But, what’s the difference? Whether the State’s taking your belongings to “build a case,” in which they are committing all four infringements listed in the previous paragraph, or to “use it for their own, personal reasons,” – it’s the same thing! Your items are in their possession for their use. Your items will now “profit” them. Not only will YOUR possessions be used against you – but they will be used for THEIR profit. If we were talking something as simple as unlawfully downloaded music, which you cannot legally possess, then, that would be something that could possibly be debated. But, if that music was on your computer, where you also kept your personal files, your letters, your email, your taxes and whatnot – then they are DIRECTLY violating the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution by keeping those items – WITHOUT just compensation.

Let me give you an example: Your computer’s taken under the false pretense of an accusation. But, in Oregon, false pretenses count as probable cause in the eyes of the law (somehow – that too – is believed to be “Constitutional??”). Your tax records are on there and you have them nowhere else. The IRS or Dept. of Revenue come knocking at your door, claiming you made a mistake in your tax filings seven years ago and owe them $50,000.00. The only proof you have is on your computer – but the State, without just compensation (which would mean equal and fair – not of value – of content – clearly stating that ALL of your information could be duplicated and returned to you immediately so you were NOT deprived of your belongings without said compensation), is preventing you from presenting your case. Now, the IRS/DOR, garnish your wages. You lose your home, your vehicle, can’t afford your meds and lose your health.

THIS IS EXACTLY why the Fifth Amendment exists. To overcome such dangerous situations that not only infringe upon your liberty – but YOUR LIFE!! However, the Oregon District Attorney’s Office, even in light of precedence set by the State Courts and multiple other States, will hold onto your valuables and abuse their power and privileges over you. Why? If you simply plead guilty or no contest -  your items are returned. You take the penalty, pay the fines (probably only around $3,000 or so – just losing your car, not your home or health), they get PAID for doing this to you, and the Constitution – well – it means NOTHING.

Does the Oregon D.A.’s office uphold the Constitution, as per their mission statement, the first Doctrine, as it pertains to the Fifth Amendment?

No. They argue and fight and spend OUR taxpayer dollars, to circumvent the Fifth Amendment. Once again – we have DIRECT EVIDENCE, that their office is lying, violating our Constitutional rights, and doing so without any manner of checks or balances. Of course, Oregon believes in Grand Juries – the “once upon a time” check and balance to prosecutions, and, in that corruption, has more prosecutions, per capita, than almost EVERY other State in the Union, justifying the taking of children and offering them up to rape, death and abuse; the imprisoning of innocent people, even before trial; and the continued abuse of power that remains unchecked.

The corruption of the Oregon District Attorney’s Office (pt 3)

In this third installment of our examination into the practices of the Oregon District Attorney’s Office, we continue on from where we left off, looking only at specific Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. But, make no mistake, the violations I speak of go way beyond that. I am merely pointing out the largest majority of violations of our rights, by the D.A.’s office – specifically – in contradiction to their claims.

Amendment 6 - Right to Speedy Trial, Confrontation of Witnesses. (Ratified 12/15/1791.)

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

First, let me point out the emphasis I maid above on: accused. That means: not guilty of, not yet determined to be guilty of, and only by mere “accusation,” has been brought forth for trial (refer to 5th Amendment post on pretrial punishments). But, Congress HAS instituted laws that directly and blatantly violate the premises upon which the Sixth Amendment rests:

On January 28, 2008, in U.S. v. Winslow, Judge Smith, D. Alaska, found that the government's conditions for the defense's review of the computer hard-drive seized in the case violated the defendant's due process, fair trial and Sixth Amendment rights. As a result, the court ordered the government to provide the defense attorney with a copy of the hard drive, under specified conditions. Is this isolated? No. And, I’ve been trying to avoid ‘specifics,’ to avoid the unnecessary argument as to whether these violations are limited. The fact is, that Oregon has been putting more people in prison, for a violation of the Adam Walsh Act and associated laws, without a trial or hearing, because the Defense Attorneys, even those who are paid, are recommending that their clients automatically say “no contest,” because the Attorneys KNOW, they cannot adequately provide for their client’s defense. You can go to the State of Oregon’s, Public Defender website and read the numerous articles on this FACT, for yourself.

What’s really at the heart of the matter here though, is the violation of the Constitutional Right to confront the witnesses and the evidence. The Oregon D.A.’s office PREVENTS any “accused” individual from confronting their offender, in a court room, for many types of crimes, including sex offense. You cannot force the Courts to have to listen to the possibility that someone is lying, or that the ACCUSORS DON’T EVEN EXIST!! Yes – you cannot even prove that they are NOT REAL!! This has given way to the Oregon D.A.’s office blatantly abusing their power by trying cases solely upon “Circumstantial Evidence.”

In such cases where ONLY circumstantial evidence exists, the idea is to convince the trier of fact (a Judge or Jury), that you are probably MORE guilty, than not. And, in cases of internet pornography, murder, theft, and other such cases, the D.A. will present the so-called “evidence” to the trier of fact to help establish their disgust or anger against you. Do you need to see a picture of a nude child to determine that they are a nude child? Do you need to see the picture of a dead body to determine the individual is actually dead? Isn’t that what evidentiary hearings are for? To prove whether or not the evidence is real?

Here’s the catch. The Sixth Amendment does NOT say you are entitled to ‘competent’ or ‘effective’ counsel. It does not guarantee you protection against attorney’s who just want to take the money and run. Individual States are supposed to do that. And, where the D.A.’s office claims that part of its “mission,” is to preserve the safety of the public, to protect the rights of crime victims and to pursue justice for all citizens with skill, honor and integrity, the question is whether or not, their trying a case against you where you are not provided with effective or adequate counsel, is within the boundaries of “skill, honor and integrity?” I would argue that clearly, it’s not.

But, how do you even get a “fair” trial in front of a so-called, “jury of your peers?” The mere definition is an oxymoron. A Jury of my peers, that represents the peoples’ choice in this matter, is not 13 people sitting on a witness stand. It’s half a million people, it’s the entire nation. In fact, it goes so far as to be: NONE of the above. The truth is, that Jury, without any factual evidence such as “Witnesses to the crime,” are only being presented with evidence. And, in many cases, it is NOT EVEN evidence that a crime occurred! Ah, there lies the rub that makes calamity of so long life….

In Internet crimes, where the content of an individual’s computer contains contraband, the State and Federal laws BOTH, clearly state, that the crime is not in the mere possession of the evidence, in a digital format (as such would violate an individual’s free right to legally copy music they own and would most CERTAINLY violate the 4th Amendment right to be secure in your personal and private belongings), but in the knowing downloading, accessing, storing and use (and distribution in certain instances) of that material. If I show you a hard disk with music on it that I believe the defendant had accessed off the Internet, I did not show you their ‘knowing’ download, just my opinion that it “more likely than not, beyond a ‘reasonable,’ doubt, occurred.” But, what is the reasonable doubt? Who determines what’s reasonable? A Jury of 13 people that don’t know me, anything about my values and morals, anything about my history or life or even what actually happened at the time this supposed ‘download’ occurred? Maybe a jury of technically incompetent individuals who don’t know enough to understand the whole entire “hacking/identity theft” industry? And, that’s where the D.A. comes in…

You see, the D.A. is permitted to be involved in the jury selection process. Why? Is that to ensure fairness to you? Of course not, they want to ensure there’s no bias against them, right? What bias is there – when YOU are the accused, YOU are the one being falsely accused of committing terrible and horrific acts against the welfare of those 13 people judging you. The only purpose the D.A. has, and you can read this on the NATIONAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S WEBSITE, under the area of articles, where they list a specific article pertaining to the Jury Selection Process in digital crimes. It specifically states that: “Most jurors have an 8th grade intellect…” it goes on to say that it is imperative that the D.A. see to it that technically savvy individuals NOT be chosen for the jury, because they could identify the holes in the D.A.’s case, where it’s actually impossible to prove an individual was in front of their computer. It also states that: Completely unsavvy people should not be selected either, because their lack of computer knowledge will make it too difficult for you to explain to them that someone is guilty when you can’t actually prove that guilt. Instead, an individual of bare-minimum computer skills must be chosen, as they will be able to only understand that computers contain data, good or bad, but not understand the principals of how you actually “identify WHO” was on the computer and “who” committed the crime.

Okay – unconstitutional?

How much MORE UNCONSTITUTIONAL would you like to make this? What about the TV and media CONSTANTLY blasting horror stories about these types of crimes, creating an ENTIRE SOCIETY that is driven to be pre-determinately against the Defendant? If this is not an absolute violation by the D.A.’s office, ESPECIALLY in Oregon, I don’t know what is:

"….Pursue justice for all citizens with skill, honor and integrity,"

How much MORE against the D.A.’s so-called, “mission,” could this be? In fact – it gets worse. The State of Oregon has had it argued, with the help of the D.A.’s office, to reduce payment for Defense counsel and reduce the amount of financial aid provided by the Oregon Public Defender’s Financial Assistance office, making it virtually impossible for the Defense to adequately mount a case!! Folks – you can go online and read all this for yourself. I, sadly, cannot. As I write this, I do so with a pen and paper, using notes provided for me by my brother, because of some of the very issues that exist in this one, exact violation of the Constitution, and amongst others.

How many more INNOCENT people will have to be released from prison before someone realizes, that the inability to hold the D.A.’s office accountable to their “mission” statement, is perpetuating the violation of our rights?

Has the D.A. upheld the Sixth Amendment to the Constitution?

No, they haven’t. They have abused their authority to help select bias juries, to falsely and wrongly influence them, in the MIDDLE OF A TRIAL, without punishment for doing so, to prevent the Defense from proving his innocence – and for what? The “pursuit of justice?” When is it a pursuit of “justice,” when you blockade the “accused,” from proving their innocence? When is it a “pursuit of justice,” when you present so-called ‘evidence,’ to a legally unknowledgeable jury, falsely making them ‘believe,’ it’s evidence of a crime? When is it justice when you work to make the jury ‘hate’ the defendant, rather than rely upon facts?

When is it the pursuit of justice with SKILL, HONOR and INTEGRITY, when you try people based on the possibility they committed the crime, not the facts? Is this protecting us? Did this actually protect the crime victims’ rights (that is – going after the wrong person and possibly letting the guilty one free to do it again)? Is this supporting the Constitution of the United States, as claimed by the Oregon’s D.A. office?

The corruption of the Oregon District Attorney’s Office (pt 4)

 

Folks, in the past three articles, I have only presented a “small,” portion of the big picture. I could get into the State laws and Constitutions constantly being violated by the District Attorney’s office, but the truth is, the Constitution is the first and foremost Doctrine to be upheld, with authority over all the others. And, if I were to cover ALL of the areas that the Oregon D.A. violates the Constitution – there wouldn’t be enough time in a year left over to do anything else!! Sure, across this entire nation there are arguments every day about how the Constitution is being cheated. There’s corruption in every State of the Union and every District Attorney’s office. But, I came before today, to only present the facts as they are about this State’s D.A.’s office. I have, for the most part, presented fairly generic issues with specific internet links you can go and find yourself, on topics that would also be as easy for you to find yourselves. The truth is, you have to educate yourself. You have to verify sources of information. You have to know the truth. Why? Ignorance is not bliss – it’s the very essence of shock value that the media uses to hit you in the face with daily. It’s the very force that drives the corruption in this Country.

The question was – or the article as it was addressed – is that the Oregon District Attorney’s Office is engaging in unconstitutional, rights-violating acts that threaten the integrity of this Country. It threatens us when, the people who are supposed to pursue justice, cannot do so based on the Constitution. Otherwise, our Constitution, means nothing. It threatens us when the people who chase down the bad guys, have to lie and cheat to get the bad guys, for two reasons: First, if our justice system has to rely on lying and cheating now, what’s to stop them from continuing in that practice? Second, if the D.A. continues to pursue the innocent, the guilty ones – the REAL bad guys – will continue to walk the streets, threatening the peace, that we have so eagerly sought to ensure through the Constitution:

….establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare…

I worry for those future generations, whose general well-being our Constitution also sought to ensure, when it is already as corrupt as it is now.

The arguments are this: If the D.A. has to do what they have to do, right or wrong, to get the bad guy, should we stop them? Yes, yes we should. The O.J. Simpson case, only one of MILLIONS like it, involved the police, the forensics experts and the District Attorney (the “prosecutor”), lying to incriminate the man. Did he do it? I don’t know. There weren’t ANY witnesses to the crime. What did O.J. have to do to preserve his innocence? He had to spend millions and millions of dollars to afford an attorney.

And, there’s the REAL catch. The rest of us, the ones without money, cannot afford to spend anything. We are given counsel that does not have the time or the resources to assist us, and we are left with the D.A. further limiting our ability to prove our innocence by forcing the evidence to be hidden away, helping to chose a bias jury, and presenting false evidence to help ‘presume,’ our guilt.

I’m not saying that the guilty should go free. I’m asking you to look around. Is crime being contained? Are people actually avoiding crimes? Nope. In fact, as I wrote in a prior article, crime is even more rampant than it is today, with a larger police force and larger judicial group, than it was only 10 years ago!! And, thus, my argument comes full circle:

The D.A.’s, for such a long time, have been putting the innocent behind bars, wasting our taxpayer money to pursue issues that are not theirs to pursue, chasing ghosts and demons that the people left on the streets include the ones who were never chased down. Out Federal and State Constitutions have been violated. Our personal rights have been violated. No one can hold the D.A.’s office accountable for these matters. Most Courtrooms no longer bother with it, leaving the matter for appeal. What’s worse, is in States like Oregon, where the D.A. can be proven, repeatedly, time and time again, to violate their own mission statement and act against the public’s well-being, the Courts are required to find in favor of State’s evidence, where equal evidence exists. That means – they have to err on the side of those who have proven their CONSISTENT violation of the Constitution and law!!??? Is this REALLY what the justice system is all about?

No money to fight your case – you’re screwed. The jails are overwhelmed. The prisons are overwhelmed. The State’s budget for law enforcement and justice just keeps going up and up – exceeding the BILLIONS range, for a state with only 3 million people!!?? So, who do you go to? Who do you turn to? Occasionally, the press will help, but only AFTER you’ve been falsely thrown in jail or prison. Sometimes, the innocence rights groups will step in (except in Oregon where the Innocence project was shut down…..), but also, usually only AFTER the fact. And – even worse than this – WE PAY FOR IT. We put out our hard-earned cash, for the Government to do what? Permit a corrupted District Attorney’s office, state-wide, to hurt us? What about putting the money into the Defense budget, and requiring the D.A.’s office to take a financial hit and begin working under the same pretense the defense attorneys do – because they think it’s the right thing to do!

You think $2k for a criminal case is sufficient? Most “paid” attorneys get around $25+, depending. You think $500 bucks for a misdemeanor is a sure-fire way to guarantee a lawyer’s avid interest in pursuing that case? Try looking through the case files – reading the whole thing – and speaking with the attorneys; I think you’ll be sick and disgusted. What about the $55k starting salary of the prosecutors, and the bonuses they get for trying a certain number of cases and winning? Did I agree to spend my money on that? Most certainly not. In fact, I expected those people, to be higher paid, because they WERE ensuring justice. But, as you can see by these articles, they are doing the opposite. They are in their positions for one reason – to line their pockets. Our Justice System has transformed into a “legal” system, whereby lady justice’s scales tip in favor of those with the most gold. And, he who has the gold – makes the rules. It’s too bad, that it happens to be the grotesquely corrupt.

Perhaps, this wouldn’t be SUCH an issue, if the D.A. didn’t openly state:

The mission of the Oregon District Attorney is to uphold the United States Constitution and the Constitution and laws of the State of Oregon, to preserve the safety of the public, to protect the rights of crime victims and to pursue justice for all citizens with skill, honor and integrity.

That above statement could not be farther from the truth. As the D.A. represents the corrupted DHS/CPS, they help contribute to the rapes, beatings, deaths and abuse of thousands of children every year. As the D.A. does so, they also force more plea bargains, for “no contest,” cases daily, filling up jails and prisons, working to boost the State’s income through fines and penalties, claiming “justice” for their forcing people to give in rather than face a lifetime in prison because the “accused,” doesn’t get cart blanche to lie like the D.A. does and get away with it.

Will it change?

There’s ALWAYS hope…. I just pray that our Governor, Legislatures, Judges and others see this and DEMAND the change now - not after it's too late for those already suffering...

YOUR responsibility to talk radio

Let me be the first to say that I salute individuals like Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh for having the guts to stand up and say what needs to be said. I absolutely oppose the "fairness doctrine," because it is another step, since the 60's, for the existing government to convert this country into an Empire. However, we MUST be careful when listening to these radio talk shows, because quite often, they get an idea in their head, drown out the truth and run with it. Or, they abuse potentially important topics that the people of this country NEED to hear in order to obtain ratings. In order to illustrate my point, I'll start with one of the more infamous folks (since Rush is already recieving enough media from the extremely confused liberals), Sean Hannity.

For those that take the time to view the above video, you will have already heard the attack on ex-governor, Jesse Ventura, for his book speaking out against the American government, warning the people of its lies, deception and our eventual fall into facism. Let me give you a couple of quick definitions on facism:

  • a political theory advocating an authoritarian hierarchical government (as opposed to democracy or liberalism)
  • A political regime based on strong centralized government, suppressing through violence any criticism or opposition of the regime, and exalting ...

I'm not sure what that says to you, but what it says to me, are principals that are NOT, inherently, democratic or republic. It is not a system whereby the people's vote counts or the people are included in the incorporation of laws and principals such as the Patriot Act, when abused on American soil by law enforcement, act as the foundation of a Marxist Socialism. Yet, for those of you that took the time to watch the ENTIRE video - and didn't read the streaming media below the individuals speaking - watch it again. What is the main news? The main news is about the invasion of the FLDS church by law enforcement officials, barging in to an open, unlocked Church, with semi-automatic weapons and bashing in the doors of the office building, taking records, taking children and putting them through hell. There are videos of the law enforcement admitting to acting without a search warrant and acting in contrast to the rights guaranteed through the Fourth Amendment. (Let's not forget the 400+ children... FOUR HUNDRED... that had to be returned by DHS because of their blatant disregard for the truth, facts, liberty or JUSTICE)!!

Now - watch the video. Hmm, is Sean Hannity ATTACKING Jesse Ventura for trying to warn the people that we are on the road to Fascism? [And, in my personal opinion - this is the type of comic/tragedy scene which could otherwise only be written of by Shakespeare himself....] Of course... this is probably isolated.. right?

Well, it seems to me that many, many radio DJ's have enjoyed attacking people who question the authority of this government. But wait, what's wrong with that? Well... let's talk about the so-called, "fairness doctrine," in which the radio DJ's, now that it's their hides on the line, are suddenly attacking the government saying that they government’s abusing its powers to control the people. I
sn't it funny how somebody will talk in absolute ignorance of a subject until the chickens come home to roost.  

And, now what? Should we just "listen to them" and "trust them?"

While I hold Glenn Beck in great esteem for his willingness to REALLY listen to both sides of the issues, he throws around the word "socialism" against the current President, as much as he fought against it during a Republican regime. It's not that Glenn Back stated that he was okay with some of the government's decisions, but he doesn't discuss the fact that "distributed wealth," has EXISTED since the civil war when war vets were supported by the government, and that welfare has been a form of distributed wealth EVER since. There is, of course, a significant difference with what Mr. Obama is trying to do, but I think those distinctions MUST be made in order to clarify these issues for the people, or they will confuse things like "socialism" with "marxist socialism" and "marxist socialism" with "distribution of wealth."

This list of talk show hosts goes on. And, as I've stated in my earlier article on their ignorance of the global climate crisis, they forget the powerful influence they have on people and their real responsibility. You see folks, this is similar to what happened in Nazi Germany. The government after WWI was composed of England, France and several others that marched into Germany, and spent a LONG time persecuting their people, RAPING their women and CHILDREN, murdering the parents in front of their children and vice versa, decimating their economy and severely abusing the people. The "local" government (primarily Jewish) was given control and even they, to an extent, held the German people in a certain amount of control to keep everything 'calm'. (BTW - if you don't know this story - it's because it WASN'T in your textbooks - because the Government we are now speaking about - America - lied - sorry - look it up for yourself). When Hitler tried to speak out against the oppressive control and abuse of his people, his family was hurt and he was thrown in prison for being a troublemaker -

And he broke.

The National Socialist German Worker's Party, began by appealing to a middle class of oppressed people, blaming their trouble on the communists, the Jews (their inherent government), their so-called 'allies,' and the Versailles Treaty. Of course, the Versailles treaty and their so-called 'allies' WERE responsible for what was happening to them. The Jewish government WAS telling them to be quiet and take the abuse, and of course - EVERYONE blames communism. So - what's the parallel?

Our Radio Talk show hosts are now throwing around the word, "Socialism," like candy, [appearing to be] with clueless about its REAL definition. In fact, the "socialism," that they are talking about is "Marxist" socialism - the same principles that were held by Stalin and Hitler both. Marxist was a Darwinian who redefined the meaning of socialism to fit his concept that the people were too weak to survive and so "big brother" had to help. This is much like Hitler throwing around the word "communism" without too much understanding of its definition. And, of course, the government propogands that they are right while the individual parties, like the Socialist workers and the DJ's (not equating the two - let's not be ignorant - Hitler was a tyrant who NEEDED to die (and a patsy to those using him), while DJ's are just that - DJ's with opinions in a country where they have the right to express them... for now... I'm just pointing out parallels), throw out arguments that they are right and the government is lying. What happens?

People are torn. Of course, this is where Hitler was able to create his 25 point doctrine and lead people in the direction he did. It's almost the same fragile point that America is in, where one person will say the key words that people want to hear, and they will fight for a cause. What to think about this? Well - that's the point - YOU NEED to think for YOURSELF. Sure, listen to what they have to say. There are ALWAYS three sides to every story. But, to give you an idea:

ALL the right-wing talk show hosts are attacking the 'global warming' folks. The government is trying to support a renewable energy package that may or may not help to mitigate this issue, but in the end, it is falling under attack for that same reason. And, what's the argument of the talk show hosts: "Maybe these 'global warming' folks need to look outside their window at the snow and rain and how cold it is!" I won't go into the argument presented in an earlier post on this site, but the fact is, when they take a position, without the truth or knowledge about what's REALLY going on behind the scenes, they can talk about issues in a way that's DANGEROUS to the American public. People ignore a growing concern that "could" come back to hurt them (notice I said could - the point being - DON'T dismiss the issue - just keep everything in perspective until you've heard it all).

Sounds like Sean Hannity making fun of Jesse Ventura for saying the government's being oppressive one year, and then the next year crying to the people for "their support" because the government's trying to "oppress" him. Maybe - if he had the facts that Ventura did - Maybe, if he HAD LISTENED and addressed issues on a fair platform, he might actually be worth his weight in salt. Without that, he's NOT reporting the news. Is Ventura right? I don't know - I'm NOT there... but I will listen, without mocking, and I will pay attention to the world around me and consider everything going on - not live in a comfy little box. Will I stop listening to Hannity? Of course not - the usual songs on the radio suck and I'm too lazy to change the channel and I like background noise. Of course, I'll hear what he and other hosts have to say, but occassionally, knowing the truths that THEY DON'T - and seeing how they react when they find themselves at gunpoint - I'll continue to enjoy them as news sources with opinions that STILL need to be followed up on and checked on... in orde to THINK FOR MYSELF. Of course, I won't give the liberal media news reporters who also blatantly stick their feet in their mouths any greater attention either. And, what's sad, is that lines will be drawn. The people are feeling the oppression being placed upon them financially, and they are NOT thinking for themselves. They are feeling the fear of a Gestapo-style law enforcement. The people they trust to tell them the truth are occassionally speaking without full consideration of the truth. And, we are all at that vital stage that split Germany - part into the NAZI part, the other part into submission and fear. This is NOT about the talk show hosts - this is about YOU - the people!

So - be careful what your radio talk show hosts tell you. They are telling you ONLY what they believe. They are telling it to you from their perspective. They are NOT "giving it to you straight," "bringing you the news you need to hear," "telling you the truth that the liberals won't." They are telling you what they feel is true and right. Sure, when they say the President lied and there ARE earmarks in his bill, that's the truth and yes, the President lied. But, listen to folks like Dennis Miller who has changed his mind more times than Bill Clinton changes female "assistants" and is more wishy-washy than the current administration. He was against Obama during the election, then for him, then against and for, and then for him when Obama was President, and now against him with this new budget. Is Dennis wrong? Nope. Dennis is not wrong. Is Dennis making any sense? To a certain degree, at each flip-flop, he is. What does it all mean? It means - he goes with the flow - whatever is popular. He's in the business to make money - not ramble because he's bored (like me) - the same as the rest of them are. And a salesman is, was and always will be - a salesman. Sometimes, they are just telling you what you want to hear, when you want to hear it - and sometimes - the truth is quite different.

And now - they attack Bush - the ones who supported him. They mock the man they helped to get elected. And, worst of all - you KNOW they don't go back and watch their shows, because if they did - they'd see what I pointed out to you in that first link.

Of course - it IS talk radio, and on talk radio - in-between their broadcasts, are the radio announcements for the Federal Department of Justice trying to get everyone to sign up to the National Registry, giving all their information to the government to help control for them. But, have any of you noticed that ad? Did you even hear it? Can you even begin to understand the devastating and dangerous implications that holds for the future of what is supposed to be a "free" country? If not - the reason is simple: the people you're listening to and trusting to tell you the "truth of the matter," are only telling you what is good for the moment, and you are so confused about the future, that it's too difficult to look ahead and see what's coming.

And, this is what I'll leave you with: Folks - I am the least educated, the least informed, the least worthy and the least respected amongst you. I am not a scientist, a teacher, a doctor or any such "admired" individual. I am not in the government, nor do I have "special" contacts. And, there are many points that I believe that I know - there is more than a 50% chance, I am wrong about. But, I'll tell you this, I only say these things because I worry that too many of you have stopped "learning," and are only "hearing." This is one thing I WILL say right now - Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Laura Ingram, ALL have my attention. And, at least 95% of the time, I am in absolute agreement with what they say - but that includes my going and looking it up. These folks have a right to their opinion - and you know what? If their opinion was so far off - people WOULDN'T listen to them! I'm GLAD they are here. I'm glad there is one last post - one last stand to be made. I just fear that when people forget it's OUR responsibility to be educated, OUR responsibility to get the facts, OUR responsibility to be RESPONSIBLE, that it positions these talk show hosts, without their having done anything to deserve it, in the dangerous position of having their opinions or thoughts taken too seriously at ALL times. Be aware, these people are just that - PEOPLE. We have NO RIGHT to demand their perfection. They are not Gods. We can only ask them to be as honest and as equal on all issues as possible (which is why I especially enjoy Glenn Beck's show).
 
So, I say - Go - GO listen to them. Hear every word. Read every statement. Take in EVERYTHING they say. Then... educate yourself. Confirm the facts. GET to know the issues. You should NOT be reading my work WITHOUT questioning it - or you're in for just as much trouble. I AM HUMAN... I will make mistakes... and I will say my opinion even sometimes, when I think it's wrong. But I expect YOU to be responsible.. for YOU. That's all!

Why the Bailout didn't work

Well, I've listened to the talk show hosts, Laura Ingram, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Dennis Miller, Bill O'Reilly and almost all of the news stations (CNN... if you call that news... NBC, ABC, CBS, et.al.); and nobody is discussing the 'real' failure of the bailout. [Of course, living on the West Coast, one doesn't get to actually hear these talk shows 'live,' to call in, and they never make email accessible in order to avoid the umpteen billion they would receive on a daily basis! And, I DO apologize to those who have discussed the REAL reason this that bailout, which have existed historically and worked, didn't work!!] To understand the failure, you must first understand the historical relationship between the Government and business. In an article by Gary Bolding, he writes, "The early champion of government involvement in the economy was our first Secretary of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton thought that the way to strengthen the government and economy was to gain the support of the moneyed classes." Government and big business through the National Banking system, designed to support one another was started long ago; and government bailouts soon followed.
 
Stretching back to the early days of American Motors, the government has offered its assistance to corporations in times of a crisis. As Nelson D. Schwartz with the International Herald Tribue wrote, and istockanalysis.com noted on their website, the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are only the latest in a very long line of Government 'rescues,' designed to help the economy. Whether it was Lockheed or the Penn Stock Railroad by Nixon, or Chrysler by Carter, the government has a history of using consumer tax dollars to save dying companies. Let's examine 'why' they do this:
 
Historically, when a corporation fails, the economy suffers. Unemployment rises, purchases are down and a cacading effect can be felt. While it has never occurred on the same scale as the depression of the 1920's, there has been a consumer and media-driven panic that it will happen again. Thanks to major disasters such as the Watts Riots, the San Francisco quake and the New York blackout, people live in fear that the impoverished will seek to steal whatever they can when our backs are turned. People fear that the unscrupulous will run rampit, beyond their usual tyrades during major disasters with desperation being an added driver to the criminal vehicle. While there is logic in this, it is a point of failure in our economy that has lead us to the bailout disaster we're in now. But, there was a logic to these historical bailouts. How these bailouts worked is this:
 
Invest money into a dying corporation, allow them to afford to keep their staff, allow them to produce product at no cost and flood the market with their product at a decreased price, thus, help those who couldn't otherwise afford the product to become long-term customers, the company makes more money than before, there are more successful companies and individuals (thus more tax revenue for the government), and everybody lives happily ever after (another point of logic is that the government doesn't have to increase welfare for the unemployed and the FDIC doesn't take a hit from a bank losses). For those who can't see this yet, let me put it this way (and I'll use fictitious, but simple numbers to keep it simple, because I'm a simple minded person; and we'll pick on GM because they're actually a good company and I can hope they have a sense of humor...):
 
CREATING THE CRISIS
GM sells 100,000 cars at $100 a piece in one year: Their profit = $10,000,000.00. (Not a bad haul)
Their costs end up being around 70% of that profit: $$7,000,000.00: Their pre-tax net profit =: $3,000,000.00 (still, not shabby)
The government requires 20% [or $2,000,000] of their profit (from that $10 million mind you...): Their total net profit: $1,000,000.00 (still.. it's profit.. right? - note, I'm being REALLY nice about the taxes right now....)
Now GM has: $1,000,000.00 to start out the next year with.
 
Year 2 - GM wants to produce 150,000 cars, knowing that the demand/population is up - but remember what it cost before? ($7 million for those of you not paying attention). Now they only have $1 million to do this on... so... they borrow from the bank: $10 million (to give them a little extra working capital, as their expenses will be higher, they may need a new plant, etc.) - and the banks are charging them an interest rate of 8% ($800,000).
Now - do all the math:
Income: $17,000,000 (to account for inflation, higher sales tags, etc.)
Expenses: $13,000,000 (to account for inflation, cost of living increases, etc.)
Borrowed Money Expenses: $1,000,000 (by the time we look at inflation, compounding interest, etc.)
Cost of new building (for the increased production): $5,000,000 (but they'd only pay off $2,000,000 of that this year)
Net profit before taxes: $2,000,000
Government Taxes (22% with inflation, higher sales/staff/property/etc. and out of the original $17 mil): $3,740,000
Net loss after taxes: $1.74 million.
 
Now - an accountant/analyst will look at this and tell you it's all wrong and go into the looooong, boring details of why. Of course, the reality is - this is the way business grows - it takes a risk, knowing that it may take a loss, but knowing that soon enough, that $5 million dollar building will be paid off, they'll be able to triple production and the amounts will balance out.
 
But, something happens.....
 
The national debt grows... interests rates are hiked, investment interest rates are lowered, the minimum wages are forcibly increased, special interest groups start making all sorts of new requirements that cost money - and lose jobs - less jobs, higher costs, production is down. Now the business is suffering, and their borrowing rate increases until they are in a crisis! Let's look at the end consumer side:
 
At first, the cars cost $14,000 (by the time it reaches the car lot).... so people are buying
The second year, they may have gone up to $15,500... and while it's higher, the banks are still lending, people are still buying, and there's more people - so more consumers means the prices can stay down (this is the success in America, not my wallet, anti-greed principal).
By the third year, in order to meet the net loss, the car manufacturer jacks up the price - and consequently, so do the car lots: $20,000.00
 
Wow... that's a HUGE increase. Less people can afford new cars, they stick to their old cars or used car lots begin cropping up like wildfire, and while an increased population is supporting continued sales - a high demand object (which should naturally encourage higher production and profit for the manufacturer), is now a no longer affordable object - and everyone, all the way back to the manufacturer is hurt - and now we leave the success in America principal, and as wallets tighten - the greed factor kicks in. Prices... increase.
 
But, that's not all. Here's the REAL kicker. The government, in their effort to increase the size of their wallets starts making rules. More, and more, they make - more rules. You can't drive without a seatbelt - $150. You can't have a cell phone with you while driving - $150. You can't drive West on Tuesday because Friday the sun rises in the East (or whatever other rules they come up with to make YOUR life better, everyone's life safer - because we all know, that if the government doesn't hold our hands, we're going to be incapable of feeding ourselves) - the government changes the rules. But, they justify it, you see. More accidents mean MORE government services, ie. ambulances, police, sheriff, state police, helicopters, new cop cars, new city cleaning crews, more road departments, a raise for Congress and a partridge in a pear tree!! So, they hire 4 new cops to sit in cars with a speed gun, using gasoline, and after all expenses are counted, creating an expense of $150,000 in a year, PER officer (to save the increase in population of 20,000 people, of course costs $600,000.00 - being again, REALLY, really nice about what they really cost us!). But, in order to afford that - and the raise for Congress - is going to increase taxes. It increases the manufacturer's taxes and the consumer's taxes - and now, there are less cars being purchased...
 
So - here we are: The crisis point! 
 
TRADITIONAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS BAILOUTS
In the past, when this type of situation occurs (of course, perpetuated by increased taxes - government, increased interest rates - government, anti driving rules - government, increased costs to manufacturers, salesmen, etc. - greedy business owners, false belief that we can get loans and feel safe about it - gullible American public - and so on and so on) - the Government steps forth to help the company.
(remember before we head into the next section - that 'the Government,' does not make money - this is YOUR money - the consumer):
 
So, in this bogus scenario, GM is ready to declare bankruptcy. The government sees that they are in debt by $100,000,000.00; that it will take $200,000,000.00 to produce the amount of cars they need to meet next year's original projections (plus), at no cost to the company and that this will keep the employees employed, get the banks and lenders paid off to prevent a crisis for the lending institutions, and allow the cars to be sold for 40% less than what they were the previous year.
 
So, GM now builds 500,000 cars at no cost. They would have put them on the market for $15,000 a piece - but, due to the bailout, they put them on the market for $10,000 a piece. No big deal - they're making ALL profit. There will be enough money left over to afford production for 2 more years at no cost, invest in a new building to increase production and technology - and keep the costs to the end consmers, down!
The car salesmen are told they the cars must sell for 40% less than last year. Well, last year, they were already charging $25,000 per car and were going to make $8,000 a piece. But, this year, they can't sell them for more than $15,000.00, and will make their $5,000 a piece. The banks are paid off and told to lend more money for car loans and encourage car loans - so they do. And, what happens?
 
Half a million cars sell for $15,000 a piece. People who couldn't afford them, now can. People who needed them for work, companies that needed them for productivity and entrepeneurs who want to offer new services, ALL get to buy cars, increasing the tax payer base for the government (in the hopes it will help, in the long-term, off-set what they gave to the manufacturer out of our pocket). Next year, GM will produce 600,000 cars, meeting the demand, the car manufacturers will still sell the cars cheaply, the car salesmen will jack up the prices a little, but not much, to still keep them affordable - and there is the circle of profit (versus the circle of life). The principals are simple:
More product at a lower price means more consumers, more income, more taxes and improved economics
Extending lines of credit means more opportunity, more risktakers - but also more successful venturers.
 
THE FAILURE OF THE NEW BAILOUT PROGRAM
THE HISTORY LEADING US UP TO IT
With more taxpayers at a higher income rate, we don't need to increase taxes. With more productivity from the car companies, businesses can afford to hire more people. And, it works, right?
 
Uh - oh - here comes the reason 'why' you hear the radio and television talk show hosts CONSTANTLY warning YOU - the consumer, against the government 'trying,' to 'fix,' things. Here comes the logic behind that argument that you're TRYING to pretend doesn't exist:
 
The government DOES increase taxes. What? Wait? Why? Aren't there already more taxes being paid? Won't there be more taxpayers in the next year? Well, yes, there will. And, yes, the above plan works for a very, very long time, because the banks are spreading the wealth amongst the people by offering loans and investing in people. But, then we get credit agencies like Equifax, Checksystems and other government and private organizations designed to help save the businesses BY HURTING THE PEOPLE. But, wait - isn't it difficult to 'predict' a failure in someone's credit or spending using a blanket technique? Oh no.... of course not. You can apply the same, one-type principal to 180 million... MILLION working Americans, and it will be the same for all of them.... NOT! But, they did it.
 
And, guess what else? The government sees the new money coming in - and - yup, you guessed it... "$CaChing!" New raises for Congress (because we know that they don't have to work any more than those members of Congress who were in place 50 years ago.... wait... that doesn't make sense?) The various government agencies who contract with them at 'prime,' rates (for those who don't know - it's like buying the $100 hammer vs. the $20 hammer, but in real business, no conspiracy stuff), get to take their share. Taxation increases because the government sees this - and suddenly, the consumer can't afford the product. The manufacturers realize the potential of increased production, but thanks to cost of living increases, rather have that potential come from less workers - more unemployment and more welfare.. woohoo! The banks and lenders, seeing this trend, and with their credit companies now in place, tighten their belts, invest in a specific few and leave the rest out. Now we get a HUGE separation in classes between the rich and the poor with no end in sight, a more dismal outlook on life and the economy begins to fail. Remember, the unemployment, high prices and other factors aren't only in GM now, they've extended into other businesses and every part of the economy hurts. (this is the simplest of the big picture)
 
A PLAN OF ACTION - FOR $700 BILLION DOLLARS
So, the government sees what's happened and says: Big business, why for did you hire that CEO at umpteen billion dollars? They say - because you helped screw us. The government says: That can't be, we're doing fine. The businesses and people mumble: yeah, because you're taking OUR money and... oh yeah, helping to SCREW us. The government says, here, I've got an idea:
 
Let's take $700 billion dollars of our money (wait... hold on... did you catch that? "Our" money? No - not one member of the US Government gave up 'their' paycheck for this - WE did), and let's do the traditional bailout, but since the whole of the economy has suffered, let's do it on a grandiose scale!! And, here comes the failure! Let us look now, at a REAL life example; AIG:
 
AIG is a worldwide insurance company (world.. not nation... but we're going to save her alone), which, if it fails, will cause a huge increase in welfare demands on the government (no, I didn't say loss of jobs, because I'm giving this to you from the government's point of view so you can try to understand their lunacy, which 'we' accept as normal); put people's pockets at risk so that they won't spend and won't pay taxes and make the banks and lending institutions take more of the tax money for themselves!!
 
So - AIG is bailed out. What is that successful plan which worked before?
More product, lower costs, continued employment of staff, extending lines of credit, right?
 
But, that's not... exactly... what happens. AIG's debts, you see, have been sucked up by the greedy, corporate staff. AIG's expenses aren't reliant on a product, but a service, and they can't really be held accountable to 'production' costs. So, here's what happens: AIG pays their corporate staff more. People are laid off and AIG looks to cheaper methods of handling their services. Of course, the lawyers they MUST employ to handle the lawsuits (thanks to - the government - for creating that disaster), now demand more money. AIG has 2 choices:
1. take an insurance policy for $800 for 6 months, make it $500 for 6 months and make it available to more people OR
2. take an insurance policy that is now $800 for 6 months, keep it that way and don't extend credit.
 
(yes, these are again, fictitious, sample numbers to illustrate the point.. sheesh!)
In choice number 2 (which is what AIG is doing right now), they will get their usual 10,000 people, for  $8,000,000.00 - which, with the bailout, would put them in a fair financial condition for next year.
In choice number 1, AIG would increase their consumer base by 10,000 people, for $10,000,000 people. That's only a $2 million difference - but, now there are more consumers, they've extended credit and their consumer base will continue to double for the next 4 years until that $2,000,000 becomes an added $8,000,000 and they will be pulling in $16,000,000.00 per year.
 
But, AIG didn't follow the government bailout formula for success. They didn't listen, and they didn't care - because the government didn't care. The government was far too preoccupied with special interest and self interest to follow the formula, although inherintly deficient due to continued governmental actions, that would have helped get our economy back on track for quite some time.
 
And, that folks - is WHY the bailout, didn't ... and won't.... work. At this point, it's free money for someone's pocket, not for keeping the consumers growing, not for supporting employment and not for the people. How awesome is that?
 
[And, as a final note, don't forget - that the government's continuing, even in the face of doing this bail out wrong, to make Legislation and decisions that will hurt us anyway! We're paying $1 trillion per year to prisons, jails and law enforcement - and yet, nobody seems to be too happy with it, except for law enforcement!! We're not getting the health system under control by starting at the source of the problems, we're increasing law and legislation to control peoples' individual lives, and yet - in this article we've already seen, that all that does is create such dramatic problems, that $700 billion WON'T fix it! That is MORE than the entire tax income for 2008, which means in 2009 - taxes will have to DOUBLE - and with the unemployment rate growing and the economy suffering - unless WE the people, stand up and rebel, take up against beauracracy and take away the Government's rights to limit our right to fight (ie. we PAY for the Attorney General in every state - and in every state, that VERY expensive office alone, is designed to protect the government from the people - go figure how THAT works??) - this will not last another year - when our debt is then quadrupled beyond repai. Just think about it.]
