"Communism is just a red herring!" - Clue
From
Wikipedia: A
red herring is an idiom referring to a device which intends to divert the audience from the truth or an item of significance.
Let us not forget the underlying significance that Acorn has played in the current Administration of this Country. Then, also, let us not forget that we have begun to acknowledge that:
- The corruption of politicians is getting more severely out of hand than ever.
- The media has been taken control of with the intention of diverting our attention from the facts at hand.
- We are being lied to by the people we've trusted to hold positions of authority.
Knowing all of that, what part about the idea of Acorn being a Red Herring seems potentially implausible to you? In fact, what premise might you find to argue against the fact that Acorn has become the whipping boy - or the "bobo," doll of the current administration, if you will - to hide something much larger? I said a while back that I would begin to discuss an underlying, dark nature of our current government that has yet to be brought to light. Of course, this borderlines on "conspiracy," and I would completely understand your refusal to read any farther....
But, first, ask yourself this: What has happened since the elections in November 2008, that would lead you to believe that the "conspiracies," being thrown around as "theories," and made fun of for the last 20+ years, aren't real, when we've begun to discover the "links," between these major, political players that has existed for more than 50 years, to make you believe it's not possible? What makes you believe that the "red herring," is not an active practice of the current administration when Jimmy Carter cries racism because somebody questions the President's policies?
And, if you're still here, that means that you, too, have begun to understand the level of deception that is dragging down our economy. I have a quick and simple answer to the health care crisis for you:
Require that any action taken by the Federal Government that is not an act of emergency, military, or crisis intervention, requires a vote by the people.
Why? The health care bill passed 14 to 9, with one Republican voting "yes." There's an average of 4.5 million people per state. Just assuming this, that means that more than 40 million registered voters, via their representative Senator, were represented as opposing the health care plan. Going back to my article on why "Democracy fails," when in such large numbers - the mere fact that more than 40 million people are opposed to the bill, shows us that our Congress and our President are operating without us and against our interests.
Putting it to a State-wide vote that each representative had to respect when casting their vote would be a form of true representation of the people. But, we're not doing that, and it's not Acorn, Fannie Mae, Nancy Pelosi or anyone else "causing," this to happen. Even the Democratic Senators whose states HAVE a social health care plan and will suffer from implementing this bill, voted for it. Why? There's something more - there's something deeper going on here - and I fear that we will not know until it's too late (if we ever get to know). Sure, Acorn's bad, but when the news is going on and on about Acorn, who, quite frankly, I don't believe is worth two cents and especially not worth my having to listen about as they are waaaay down on the totem pole of respectable people to even be in the news, something else is happening.
In fact, this "war," in Afghanistan is a red herring. The "socialized health care," plan is a red herring (remember, every single state in the union has a "socialized health care plan," whereby everyone who pays taxes pays into the pot to pay for free health care for those who don't have it?). We are having major red herrings thrown at us, and the news is bouncing around from topic to topic like a child in an amusement park. No single topic of debate is sticking, because it's as unimportant tomorrow as it was today. These are "distractions;" and distractions are intended to take our attention away from something much, much bigger.
What? I won't offer my opinion, because it's only mine and has no validity to anyone else. But, be careful what "topic," pulls your attention, because it may be pulling your "attention," away from something else that REALLY matters. Good Luck, all!
