(continued from: Whitewashing the Country - part 2)
So now, not only must you pay Uncle Sam to continue in this unsuccessful, dreaded fashion and not only has it dominated our lives and lead to corruption - we're also paying Uncle Sam's henchmen to be OUR henchmen!!??
"There are wealthy gentlemen in England who drive four-horse passenger-coaches twenty or thirty miles on a daily line, in the summer, because the privilege costs them considerable money; but if they were offered wages for the service, that would turn it into work and then they would resign."
Need more proof of this? How about this: The government lists driving as: a privilege. The government defines working as: a privilege. The government defines voting as: a privilege...
And the government defines freedom as: A privilege. Don't believe it? Government politics, executive information and the like: knowledge of these things is a privilege, not a right, that is why we are not permitted to know these things. In
this article, rights vs. privileges are examined and it is quoted in law that: "The servant cannot complain, as he takes the employment on the terms which are offered him."
You can read
here how it was the purpose of the Republican party to fight for freedom and abolish slavery. And, today we are seeing just how the left is treating freedom - you can have the blue or green shoes - but at least you get shoes. That's freedom? No. That's the abuse of freedom underneath the same type of tyranny that is used by Kings and monopolies. It's not that I'm saying: Hey, you want protection from the bad guys, you shouldn't have to pay for it.... but, you shouldn't. The bad guys are the ones taking away your freedom in that case, and even if we mount arms against it, we're still losing our freedom under extreme work methods and taxation and what not.
If you don't vote, are you exempt from the rules? Nope - in fact, you're blamed for not voting for a better party. But, if you're in trouble with the law, you're ability to vote is taken away from you. So, is voting a "right?" Rights are that which cannot be interfered with by the Government - they are endowed by God and the human intellect. The term: the right to vote, is then used as a "whitewashing," of the truth, to be used a punishment against you when determined by the government to do so and FORCE you into obedience with their laws. Is that a right? Is that EVEN a privilege? No - in that case - it's neither. In that case, the whitewashing of the fence, that you paid to wash, which isn't even your fence, will lead you and those around you further down the spiral.
Now - some may argue about the driving thing: it's a privilege, because one has to be educated and pass the tests! Really? You mean, the tests that "certify," a person to drive, for a COST to Uncle Sam (isn't that back to whitewashing the fence...?), to sit behind a dangerous, 2000 pound chunk of steel in heavy-duty traffic, miserable (remember... it was a looonnngggg fence!)? While I won't get into my opinions on the driving matter, I simply present these issues to you in the form of Tom Sawyer's Whitewashing to show you that:
The government is not 'fixing,' the problem (the cars are not set to 55 mph only and constructed in a fashion to prevent accidents), they are simply glossing it over (monetizing the debt?). And, to make matters worse - when the parties that support socialism force you to wash the fence - then there is no freedom, liberty or rights involved at all. When someone's in need, (welfare), does the government offer: Hey - let's give back some of these riches we have? Can the person simply go out and play the same game (although there are no fences left to paint and they can't afford the paint?)? Or, does the government come forward to you, the painters who have already sacrificed and say: hey - that person's in need - there's no room for them on the fence to paint with us, so, until that happens, I need you to give up more of your stuff to them [so they can then, later on, pay the government for the privilege to wash the fence]. This is charity/welfare and the rest all rolled into one.
What's happening folks? How long before the other boys in town realize what Tom's done and come a 'knockin' at the door to tear it down? How much longer before someone calls on those "IOU's?" How far can Tom Sawyer go? Well - like the book said - he would've gone all day and bankrupted EVERY boy in town, except he just ran out of fence!!
How far will Uncle Sam go? Probably until the boys let him know enough's - enough - but by then, I fear it may be too late.
